Absolutely horrendous food and service. We order our drinks first obviously. Brings my Iced Coffee (I ordered regular coffee) no sugar no creamer. Ordered cheese bites as appetizer for the kids. They were actually pretty good 👍🏼. Wife ordered Veggie combo (Soup and 4 sides) Carrots 🥕 looked like they went from freezer burnt to the microwave. Broccoli 🥦 had the weirdest oder and discoloration. Corn on the cob wasn’t on the cob. Wife received her food 15 minutes before the rest of us. My mashed potatoes seemed like they were left on my plate for days. Finally I asked her to replace the frozen coffee ☕️ with Dr. Pepper. Still billed for the coffee. Never came around for refills for the kids. There was so much more. I’ve never not tipped in my life. Wife left a note 📝 saying service and food were definitely not good. Alexis followed us outside to explain how rude my wife was. Definitely didn’t feel safe at that moment. Step it up Cheddar’s

I don’t know why I ever bother here. Even before the pandemic service has always been slow and it’s no better now. I went on lunch break so I could use up a free dessert coupon I got for my bday. I ordered an entree as I needed to in order to get the dessert. Took forever to even have a waitress come over to get my order in the first place. I ordered the so called “slowwwwwww smoked” full rack of ribs and they come out but just a half order. The waitress said they’re still cooking the other half. There was nothing slow cooked abt them. Not even falling off the bone, was tough to even get the one rib off. I ended up sending it back and just leaving. I had no time to sit around waiting on another entree order when my lunch break was almost over.

I used to come to Cheddars in TN growing up with family members for special occasions & wanted to come by today before heading out of town for the funeral of one of those beloved family members. Waited on the host to get up from sitting at a booth to come around. Another gentleman & myself ordered to-go in the bar & waited 45 minutes for our to-go orders - were the only 2 people in that entire side of the restaurant. My order was a salad & appetizer fried shrimp… ordered at 11:10 & received at 11:50 with a completely dead restaurant. To make the best of the wait, I asked to please order a margarita while I waited & was told “No bartenders are scheduled til 2PM today sorry.” So this location doesn’t even have a full staff available. This was my first time coming back in more than a year bc this place is usually like this - long waits for no reason, phone just rings, that sorta thing. No one even working in the bar area or behind the bar. Felt like an unwanted annoyance, won’t be back. Photo - the 6 shrimp for $9 with a drizzle of Buffalo sauce.

Recently visited Cheddar's and it was decent overall. The service was sub-par, but they were short staffed so I cut some slack there. Pros: the baby back ribs were juicy, flavorful, and falling off the bone,and the broccoli casserole was outstanding! Cons: the steak was a little tough and fries didn't seem too fresh. They didn't have a bartender working, so I couldn't get my favorite frozen drink. I've had better experiences there, so I'm sure I'll give them another try / review in the future.

Food was ok. They ran out of a lot things so it made our selections limited. Waitress was nice and attentive. Just doesn’t seem like the same cheddar’s from years ago

We were quoted at 20 minute wait and ended up waiting approximately 40 minutes. The server was not very friendly, she did not seem to care about the quality of her work, and very nonchalant. My food was good but my husband’s food was incorrect and when we asked the manager why some of the T-bone steak was missing and he said that they are prepackaged. We mentioned to the manager that it looks as if someone cut some of the steak and he tells us that his staff know better because he would kill them. The steak was supposed to be well done not charred but had to cook longer due to it not being cooked as requested. It will be awhile before I return because the customer service was very unpleasant

Chicken tenders and honey butter croissants were amazing! I was a little underwhelmed by the fries and broccoli cheese casserole, not to mention the time we spent waiting for our server to come back, but I am sure that their being understaffed is what is to blame.

Stay away! Food sucks (taste and needless up charges) and so does the service. Walk in and the hostess acts like you owe her something…if you’re mad, be mad at your employer, not innocent customers. It wasn’t even busy and yet the food was horrible. Got their “famous” cookie and it was raw and burnt at the same time…they just need to close down already. Never again!

Host, so disrespectful when I requested a booth, literally the place was empty. The presentation of my meal was absolutely jaw dropping, but as I began to eat, this chewy “thing” wouldn’t dissolve in my mouth and killed my whole experience 😞.

We went for team lunch with 8 of us. The food was good and the server was very nice. He was busy but still made time to check on us from time to time. It was clean and we were right on time as it started to get more busy later. Good food for the price and good portions. Definitely good place to try for.

The level of service we experienced was exceptionally poor, leaving us puzzled about the underlying reasons. Perhaps the establishment requires a more personalized approach. Regrettably, our order took well over 45 minutes to be prepared and served. To make matters worse, the beverages we received were consistently incorrect, suggesting a lack of attention to detail. The employees appeared to be going about their tasks with a noticeable lack of enthusiasm, both for their job and for attending to the customers. Given these disappointing experiences, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others. We leave the place without eat.

First time ever to a Cheddar's. Miranda was our server, she was great! Strawberry Lemonade was very yummy. The hot buttered croissants were sooo good, melt in your mouth. The spinach dip, queso and chicken tender trio sampler was excellent. My son got the Salmon and daughter got the buffalo chicken wrappers. Everything was great. The atmosphere was very modern and clean. The bathrooms were clean also. Free parking lot adjacent.

It gives cozy vibes. The food and drinks were okay. The cheese curls was really good though. The salad was over dressed. The pot pie I do not recommend. Our server was nice but service was slow. This restaurant just wasn’t it for me overall. Reasonable pricing however. Might be good for a family looking not to spend a lot. My toddler did like the shrimp. He peeled the breading off though.

We come to this restaurant quite frequently. The food is delicious. On this visit we had the Monte Cristo, Baby Back Ribs, Coleslaw, Red Beans and Rice, Loaded Baked Potato and croissants. Everything tasted good. The service leaves a lot to be desired. We always have to wait much longer than the time that we are given to pick up our food. I have had to go inside twice to inquire about our order. This is not good. I hope this improves.

Very neat atmosphere with this huge aquarium and very interesting fan above. Our waitress was awesome! I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich and baby carrots. The carrots had sugar in them and the sandwich I couldn't eat it because it was too greasy so she took it back and asked what else I wanted, so I got a salad. It was delicious! She even subtracted the sandwich from our bill!

Sat us in the colored section. Pork in my Chicken Alfredo and overall not good eats. Should have left when the table was not cleaned properly and that kiosk has never been wiped down ever. 👎🏾

We split the chicken tenders with shrimp, which comes with 2 sides. It was plenty for the two of us and delicious. We washed it down with a couple of mules. The only downside was the croissants, which were cold and crusty. They were likely sitting out for a while.

I went to college in this area and decided to bring my group here for some team building pre engagement time! And I’m glad I did! The food came out superrrr fast! One of my favorite items here is the honey butter croissants, let’s just say that hasn’t changed much! Great service and very affordable pricing!

We had a wonderful meal and entire experience at Cheddar’s today in Charlotte! Kama G was our server. He was outstanding with our service and suggestions on our meal choices. We each had a margarita which was awesome. I had the chicken pot pie, and my daughter had the meatloaf. Both meals were delicious and the croissants were to die for. We will definitely be back!

Idk if it’s just us but whenever my husband and I bring our three daughters (9 3& 3) out to eat it’s always something. Once we went to a chilis and I literally thought we were being punked bc of how blatantly rude and all around terrible the service was there. And we are not Karen’s, my husband wouldn’t even send his food back if the order was completely wrong! But it’s gotten us so discouraged that we rarely eat out anymore. We tried our luck last Friday @ cheddars bc we were like a half hour from home and the kids were starving. The restaurant itself is really nice. And clean. My kids loved the giant fish tank! It’s absolutely kid friendly but also has a bar walled off at the end of the restaurant which also looked really great to grab a drink. We were greeted by a very nice waitress, who ended up taking our drink and entire food order. After waiting ten plus min without drinks we thought here we go. But that’s when they came out with absolutely everything! Drinks( which she refilled regularly) all our food, and even warm croissants! We were very pleasantly surprised! The portions were very large too! And everything was really good! The kids meals are only $5 and include drinks! We’ll absolutely be heading back here! Don’t forget to tip your servers!!
