Park nestled between living areas. Very quaint. Great views of some of the high-rises. Nice little fountain area towards the end, where you can sit and relax. If you have an aviation bug, look up, plenty of planes overhead, line up for final approach. We always visit when strolling through downtown.

Wonderful park with a 1 mile trial through the Forth Ward neighborhood. Enjoy the Beautiful homes and the skyline of Charlotte during the walk. Playground and multiple water fountains throughout the park.

Visited during a pandemic, but made the best of it. Went swimming in the fountain because all the pools were closed. Millenial central with all thier cute dogs all over the place and squirrels for them to chase.

Went for a walk in the park after looking in Google maps as I was in the area. It’s a nice little park where you can walk your dog and enjoy the view. It is forbidden to swim in the lake, but you would T want to go I. The dark green water. You can find some turtles swimming there though.

Enjoyed a stroll through here to the swings and back with our toddler. Just the right length for him to run out some energy away from traffic. He enjoyed watching the squirrels too!

lovely park but there are RATS that live in the bushes we saw 3 running around and they are BIG. and drug addicts & groups of loiterers sitting in the childrens garden and on the sidewalk by the park.

Very nice. Open park with a few hills. A very small area to play with the kids. Nice open space to run. Play a little bit of ball. Pretty apartments and some old homes around the park. Very quiet. Good view of some of the big buildings

Beautiful, secluded place. The kind of space you’d choose for conversational walks with someone. Or, just the place to take a breather from a hectic day. Not a park for running or big playgrounds. Lots of trees, beautiful homes on opposite streets. A few steps away from Harris Teeter. So, if you’re looking to make something of it, park your car —certain days of the week are free or reduced parking fees—, walk over to Harris Teeter grab some picnic supplies, bring a blanket and your dog and enjoy yourself.

Nice little neighborhood park conveniently located near Charlotte's oldest (or one of it's oldest) cemetery, which is also a historical site.

Nice park in the center of uptown. Can be a little dirty at times though. Beautiful when the cherry blossoms are blooming in March/early April.

Of the 3 parks for the wards. This one is the nicest. I recommend a weekend trip and park on 5th street. Usually you can find a spot and the meters are free on weekends

This park is beautiful. Lots of trees and beautiful flowers. I love the red brick walking path that goes all around the park. I love to just sit with my boyfriend on a beautiful day and people watch. Love all the different, gorgeous purebreds that are walked around there. It's just a really nice park overall. I come here alot for a piece of mind and I go home with it.
