Well, this nature center has everything for everyone. I mean literally everything. If you have kids, they have playgrounds, library, museums etc. if you want to run, you can easily make 10 plus beautiful miles, if you simply want to walk, aw! Gorgeous walking trails. Basketball, disc golf, volleyball, baseball you name it. Nice clean bathrooms and employees at the information center are very professional and friendly.

This is a Really nice park. This plus isolated but at the same time feels very safe. It’s great to be able to get away from the city and have that mountain country feel. There is a mixture of gravel and paved trails. It’s unclear where you can and can’t ride bikes. We only walk jog this trail. It is odd how quickly 2 miles come I’ll while walking this treck. Along the way is ponds and stilling benches etc. I would recommended this for families. Plenty of parking.

The park is pretty large and has several different activities including a dog park, two separate play areas for kids, one built by the Panthers to be a mini workout area and the other in the back of the park by the nature center. Hiking trails connect throughout the park and are nice easy trails. Bathrooms are also at the nature center and other picnic areas.

We were looking foe a relatively easy hike around the Charlotte area that would include great views of nature and maybe some local history. The Reedy Creek Nature Center was a great place to visit, as the hike was very leisurely and enjoyable. At the Nature Center the crew member was very helpful with suggestions on which trails to take and the distances. The trails are relatively flat with a few roots and rocks, and very easy climbs. Several bridges take you over creek areas and provide great photo opportunities. All trails were clearly marked and easy to follow.

Can’t believe this hidden gem is only 15 min away from Noda! We have never heard of anyone talk about this place but decided to check it out anyway. It’s out of the center part of the city, so we enjoyed that it wasn’t overcrowded like many parks in Charlotte. Loved that it has multiple trail options and that parking was easy and safe. We chose to hike different trails leading to the Robinson Rock Ruins and loved it. Saw some beautiful scenes along the way. Highly recommend!

Great place to go hiking. The nature center is very nice the kids can see some snakes and turtles inside all four free. Trails are pretty easy to hike so you can take the kids. Playgrounds and picnic tables every where.

Great nature trails plus a big dog park. Love taking my dog to walk the trails, lots to see with some historical areas. Trails are not difficult makes for a nice walk and fresh air. Also has a pretty lake you can fish in and a few play ground areas for kids, as well as the nature center itself.

Unfortunately, the nature center building and playground are closed but the area provides easy access to the Big Oak Trail, Umbrella Trail, and Dragonfly Pond Trail. It's at the back end of Reedy Creek Park. There is a nice garden area by the building which is nice to visit. Sometimes you can pick up trail maps as well. Love all the trail variations!

We love this place! Awesome hiking but find a route because there are some trials that go a long way. We love the house ruins from old gold miners! There is also a neat tree there for kids to climb! Kids will love this hiking place.

Great place to let children learn something about nature and play on natural looking playground equipment to burn some energy!

Great place for a hike, and to explore the woods. The trails are fairly easy to hike, with the only challenge being not getting lost. On that, grab a map from the nature center. It has mileage listed for each trail, but I'm not sure that it's accurate. But it is good for navigation. My favorite part of hiking the site is the trail marking. It works very well.

I like how educational this place is! If you have children, they would enjoy learning about plants and animals of the region. College students can learn about ways to protect the environment through engineering amd sustainability initiatives. I like all the options in the gift shops, there are many books, not just for kids but for older readers too.

The Robinson Stone House Trail is such a good little hike. Trail is well marked. I do wonder what happened to the educational plaques that I've seen photos of but didn't see while there about the house. The stone ruins are so incredibly beautiful. The Osage Orange tree that had fallen was so large. We loved hearing all the frogs croaking their little hearts out at certain parts of the creek. We will definitely be back.

This morning was my first time back to this park in a few years. I went to go fishing, but there was nothing in the lake other than tiny sunfish, 3in long at most. If your trip is based on a fishing spot, go somewhere else. If you're going just to enjoy the outdoors and scenery, absolutely take the trip, it is a beautiful park.

This place is absolutely amazing. I spend about 5 days a week here. It’s HUGE! There is a dog park, baseball fields, basketball courts, hiking trails, disc golf courses, 2 huge ponds that you can fish in, a free nature center, huge kiddie playground, wide open fields, picnic tables, volleyball courts and a new, state-of-the-art American Ninja Warrior inspired obstacle course that is decked out in Panthers colors and logos. It has a button that you hit and it starts your timer on a big electronic scoreboard. Sensors in the ground stop your timer when you cross the finish line. There a 40 yard dash section that does the same thing.. it’s really awesome.

Our family enjoyed what Reedy Creek had to offer. Small nature center with a few exhibits/animals to see that is appropriate for toddlers. Numerous trails to keep you active. Well maintained and staff was friendly. Would visit again in the future

I have the best memories of my life here!! My kids grow up coming almost everyday to play. We used to have adventures in the trails and go looking for turtles to rise their heads and climb onto a log to take bask in the sun.

Was just on the nature center trails today. Wonderful walking trails. This is probably one of the finest parks in Charlotte/Mecklenburg.
