Beautiful park. Very peaceful and our favorite is walking around the lake.

I like the lake with the fountain there. You can take a seat on a bench and enjoy the view. I saw a few ducks and goose. Also you can finish if you like it. There're few fields to play sports, playground for children and some places for BBQ. In general it's not a big park but it's peaceful.

There's alot to do at this park. The park has paved paths, two play areas, several picnic shelters with grills, tennis courts, a BMX park, softball field, and frisbee golf. The frisbee golf course was used for big tournament once. There's a pond but it's definitely not for swimming. I've seen people fishing. The park is especially clean considering those nasty geese frequent there. There's several parking lots. It's really busy on the weekends.

This park is a hidden gem! It's quite large and has many paths throughout. Some paved and some not. There are lots of playgrounds for the kids. There is even a BMX course and a huge tennis area!!!! It's well maintained and lots of people enjoying themselves.

This course was one to cross off the bucket list, and it didn't disappoint. Challenging and beautiful. I lost my Tern on hole 2, which is perhaps one of the most iconic holes in disc golf but I wouldn't change a thing. Beautifully maintained. Throw well!

This track is just what my grandson needed and loves! He's 2 yrs old and riding his Strider balancing bike like a champ! They are so good to the children here during the races and make them feel as they are all winners.

It's a big park with lots of amenities... Tennis courts, volleyball nets, disc golf, a pond, etc. There's a bit of trash from people not picking up after themselves, but the bathroom I went into was usable and not too bad.

I went for strictly the disc golf, nothing else so I can't comment on anything else. I drove about an hour and a half to get here and let me tell you I wasn't let down. The course is absolutely flawless, nothing at all to complain about! I guess that's why they held the pdga championship multiple years in a row there (hoping for 2022) I loved every minute of it from the view, the well maintained course, to fan freaking out standing where the pros stand. Honestly amazing, challenging and still able to see the lines you can go through, many of courses hasn't mastered that yet. Had a blast, will definitely be making the trip again.

I think this park is overlooked sometimes due to the area it’s in. But that just means it’s less crowded for us when we go which is a plus. This park has a lot to offer including a Panthers Play 60 course and a stocked fishing pond. There’s also a nice venue to rent out for recreation that’s cute and all glass. It would be perfect for a shower of any kind such as bridal or baby. Our there are also a few baby swings and a toddler playground in addition to the regular. Food trucks are out sometimes as well. I’m sure I’m missing something but these are the highlights for our family.

Beautiful park… But do not leave valuable stuff visible in your vehicle, cars are getting broken into often in the parking lot.. last time I was there a huge group of cars decided to have a car show and smoked weed while my family and I were trying to play disc golf. Pretty disappointing when you have young kids with you

I can not find anything to complain about this park. This park had tennis courts, basketball, plagrounds, horse Shoes, freesbie games that goes around the park and a Bmx track for bikes. Awesome place to hold cook outs.

We enjoyed playing a round of disc golf. While we were there we saw that you can fish, play horse shoes, and there were two playgrounds. There were also a lot of tennis or pickle ball courts.

It's a large & nice park. My family had a repass at the Pavillion which was a pretty descent size. They had tennis courts, basketball courts, BMX race track, and lots of gravel & paved trails surrounding a big pond. They have a huge parking lot. After my husband and I ate, we took a walk around the park. He said he'd love to bring his nephew there. It was nice.

Myself and 3 other families held a huge graduation party for our sons since they've been friends since junior high and graduated high best friends ( like brothers even) it was a really nice pavilion room(air condition) a pond we were able to bring in a grill big enough to cook for 50+ but there is a medium size permanent grill also of you cannot bring one,all in all despite the thunderstorm we had a blast, would rent it again....oh it includes a kitchen area fridge, ice machine, food warmer prep counter with sink no stove,male/female rest rooms, BRING YOUR OWN BROOM AND DUST PAN,that's not provided

A classic if you are looking for the Charlotte Disc Golf experience. Play it now before the city builds the Greenway and we lose a bunch of holes...

Love Hornets Nest Park. So much to do!!! They have the bike park, horseshoe, basketball field, two mini lakes (Not the best) volleyball, children park, baseball field, tennis courts, frisbees, more then enough seating areas, the panthers park, and plenty of walking routes! Need more parking in the middle. That lil parking lot not going to cut it, but other then that. It’s great!!

Great park! I loved the layout. There is a nice paved walking trail throughout the park. With two playground areas, a softball field, two sand volleyball spots, rows of horseshoe pits, an entire freaking BMX track to ride, frisbee golf, and basketball courts! Evening a pond to fish trout.
