A truly beautiful park, especially in the morning between 8am and 10am. Walking the trail with your dog(s) is a supremely peaceful and quiet experience. I love that they have pet waste bags for cleanup available, too. Oh, and there are butterflies EVERYWHERE!

Very nice basketball court, by the hornets. The playground is good with a sprayground area for the little ones. I definitely love the big trees along the walkway at the back of the park.

Not a very good city park, it seems like a nice park to visit. Everything is out dates and used. Splash ground isn’t much, especially compared to other cities. Playground is very small and no shade for the little ones. The basketball court is cool but needs to be refreshed. Its amazing how Charlotte hasn’t done better with its public parks.

Tuckled between the hustle and bustle of the uptown Charlotte, this serene park offers amenities for everyone. Great for young kids.

I grew up going to Latta Park as my grandmother lived on Romany Road. It was and is an amazing place. There are so many things to do there from the walking trails to the exercise trails, the basketball court. The pavilion is nice. There are benches throughout the park. When inwas your we would catch crawsads in the creek. There was a fountain to play in on hot days. It is beautiful in the fall with all the leaves. My favorite was going to Price's Chicken Coop and eating it in the park. Insure miss Price's.

We love this park for the splash pad and the walking trail. There are shaded areas for parents to sit. Bring a picnic or there are plenty of businesses nearby in the southend for lunch or coffee or ice cream.

My favorite park in Charlotte. We actually were talking to a woman who’s from North Charlotte today who loves the park and comes several times a week. The playground itself is pretty shaded which is awesome. I never understood why most playgrounds are just baking in the sun, the plastic gets very hot and all you’re going to do is worry about the littles getting dehydrated or burnt out. There is also a very nice splash pad there big enough for a good amount of people to enjoy. One of the better splash pads I’ve been to because the ground pools up a good 2-3 inches in some spots while it’s on. It’s also SLIGHTLY chlorinated which is also a feature I don’t see at other splash pads. The park itself is huge, there’s a bike/walking path, and little exit points with picnic tables/grills. There’s also a gazebo overlooking playground and splash pad. It has a grill there too. Basketball court on the opposing side of playground. Plenty of benches and walls to sit on. This is your park. Trust me.

Bathrooms! Great splash area for kids. Playground. Hornets recently remodeled basketball court area so it is legitimately nice to play on. Great shade on walking trails. On the medium size park scale but we love it!

I really liked this park for my granddaughter, the playground was great. I do wish they could reduce the water pressure of the splash pool but overall a fun visit.

It’s a well kept park. Nice open area, basketball court, covered/ sheltered area with picnic tables, small spray area, and playground. Not the biggest or most extensive park but nice.

This is such a cute park- loved the water feature for kids to play in when it’s hot. Also has generous trails to wander in the quaint part of the city.

New Park. Very clean and well groomed parks I've seen in Charlotte. There are fountains for the children to play in the summer, and pretty of shade if you like to relax under a tree on a hot day..Full basketball court, also very well kept..1-10.. The park is a 10 all the way. I visit this park, roughly 4 times a week..

My son absolutely enjoyed himself at this beautiful park, not too crowded and everyone we ran into was a pleasant to talk to. My special needs son enjoyed himself and there was plenty of room for him to run around without bumping into the other kids. Beautiful park, beautiful picnic area, beautiful basketball court just everything was absolutely amazing. Wish we had parks like this back in my home town.
