The new playground is amazing and super fun for toddlers and younger kids. Even when there are a lot of people, it doesn’t feel like it because there is a lot of space for the kids to run around.

Love this park. I just wish they had more seating and or a shaded area for parents at the playground.

I took my niece here one day. She loved it!! The water was cool. There were places to sit down or picnic. The children were friendly. There were parents there and I think counselors also. My niece makes friends quickly and they all had a day of fun.

Truly one of the best park's in the area. The splash pad is large with half of it covered by a wind sail. The playground is unbelievable. All newer equipment and technology throughout the playground. The whole area is covered by a crashed rubber so it's very safe even for smaller children just learning to walk. Will definitely be back to Nevin Park!

This park is great for all ages! Little areas to go for walks and two different play areas.

Great playgrounds. They even have a special playground for toddlers. They have an awesome splash pad which can get busy. Lots of trails. Disc golf. Bocce ball court. Just a great park. Update: February 2022. They took down the old wooden playground and replaced with a huge playground. It's got equipment I've never seen. My kids had so much fun here.

I really enjoyed this playground. It was perfect size for my 18 month old. I loved that everything was low to the ground and the equipment was really fun. My only negative input is that the equipment could used a nice pressure washing. It had a lot of black staining on it. We'll definitely be back to play in the future.

Older park but a lot to do for younger kids in the main park area. Very creatively designed. Some parts have been closed down and still have not been repaired so hopefully they will be soon. There is a park area for older kids as well and a lot of activity areas for horse shoe and cornhole etc. walking trail, splash pad up front. Very nice overall

We we're excited to try what looked like an awesome playground, but when we got here it's been torn down! My kids are so sad. It's a huge park which is cool but very disappointed there was no playground.

Was my favorite park to go to with my daughter. She called it her park. She passed away recently and I miss her so so much. I cant bring myself to come back there. I highly recommend, especially during the summer when the sprayground is open

Loved the openess of the park. The topography and the heavy wooded areas were a pleasant surprise. The soccer field used for my granddaughters soccer team was in the best shape of any field she played on this year.

We came here specifically for the splash pad this summer. Very kid friendly, and dog friendly too. There were quite a few people/families here on a Friday afternoon, but still quite a bit of parking spots. Highly recommended a change of clothes and a towel if you will be playing around in the splash pad!

Love this playground for little toddlers and big kids. It’s big an has everything to have a great couple of hours and have the kiddos highly entertained!

The covered splash park is awesome. The playground is nice but lacks enough shade to help with cooling the playground equipment. It is still a really nice park. It is in a nicely kept park setting. I've noticed restrooms but have not checked it out. I also noticed a nicely shadded pavilion area. I'm assuming there is adequate power because a day camp was playing children's songs on a big speaker, which added a nice touch to the splash experience for my 2 grandchildren.

We love Nevin Park. All My children ( 1 year to 16) ask to come here. There are paths, baseball and soccer fields, and beautiful environment. The best pare is that the park is hidden and feels like an Oasis from the crazy Charlotte life.

Great course, but it's super long. Well kept and mapped out well. Super fun course!

Great park.the fact thst you can just go right around the corner to have the children cool of in the splash pad is great. I will say the bathrooms need some work. There's been a couple times where there's no soap to wash your hands

Nevins community park is awesome. It has a splash pad playground and other amenities I don't really visit but the playground and splash pad are always a joy for my kids and we always meet some really kind people so I suggest giving it a try when it's warm and you have nothing to do! Oh ps. Pelicans snowball Is down the street

The medieval style playground has been replaced by a newer structure. It’s a great park to get out some energy. I like that there’s also a climbing/ninja style area as well for older kids.

Good park for toddlers. The playground is easy for them to get on the equipment. They have the swings where a kid can swing with an older adult. Sometimes there are ppl there selling ice cream. And there’s a splash pad near the entrance

Wow. This place is amazing. They have not one, but 4 different areas and levels of play. They also have places to sit and eat. It's a wonderful family atmosphere. Even with a child size Zipline! So cool. We will DEFINITELY go back!

Brought the little one here and she had a blast. I never knew about this hidden gem in Charlotte. I do not have small children and do not know alot of locations. We found this looking for parks with swings. The location was clean and kid friendly. My granddaughter loved and will bring her back before I take her home to New York.

Updated age appropriate playground equipment with stability, just need to open there restrooms up and not just the front ones near the entrance where majority of there guest are , not far to me , let alongside the disabled community
