It's definitely a 3 star hotel. No microwave or robe in the room. The room was clean. The app said I could use my phone as the room key but I didn't receive the temporary code to my email so I could set it up. I knew I put the correct email in because all other communications came just fine. I wish there was a self park option instead of valet only. Can we have 1 complimentary parking spot per room rented instead of being forced to use the $32/night valet? The breakfast buffet was pretty good except there were no pancakes or eggs Sunny side up offered. On Sunday they had Styrofoam plates & plastic utensils only. No normal plates like the other days. There was only 1 valet attendant Sunday morning when a higher # of guests were checking out. There's only 2 elevators so be prepared to wait in the early evening. The floor was sticky in one of them for the 4 days I was there. There's a surface self parking lot near the valet but you have to walk all the way around. Can you put some steps in there?

Great place. Clean and felt safe. I was concerned with valet because of previous reviews but had no issues and it was simple, as well as quick. We had forgot a charger in our vehicle and was able to get our key and go to where the vehicle was parked (underground, it seemed). Each car was parked safely and I saw no issues. I felt the area was very secure. You had to show proof of a ticket before you could even get your keys--so, don't lose that! Everyone was friendly. Free breakfast was simple but delicious. Staff was as helpful as they could be (they were busy this particular time). Due to the cost of the rooftop restaurant, we opted to doordash. We had no issues both times we did so. Only annoyance was the way an intoxicated patron talked to my daughter (she is an adult but it was a bit much). I would've liked staff to have said something to curb such behavior but had it been a major issue--I would've handled it. I stayed at the Hampton Inn about 6 months prior and, although it cost about $50-60 less per night, it was a far cry from the experience I had at the Hyatt. I would gladly stay in this hotel again.

Avoid this hotel! When there is a disconnect between quality and price. If possible look elsewhere. Upon arrival, we found our room to be unclean; blueberry muffins was scattered on the floor. The sheets and pillows, carried a weird smell. The plaster on the ceiling was peeling. The shower is outdated and was not cleaned. We ended up cleaning the room ourselves. We requested housekeeping to bring extra towels, that never showed up. We do not recommend staying here, please seek other accommodations nearby.

The room was decent until checking the shower. Barely any water pressure. Can Hyatt afford water bill? The AC unit blasted every 10 minutes a thunderous sound that kept me up all night. The bed was lumpy and had a dip in the middle. The front desk staff seem clueless about the room features. After checking out, discovered that I left behind the phone charger. Well due to "short staffing" the lost and found is closed overnight, only housekeeping has access during the day (that's crazy...so the Hotel Manager doesn't have access??) and they are not available until 8 am. Well, I had a 7am flight out. I was informed to call back, wait for an email with instructions to bill me for shipping the charger and hope that it would be sent. Hyatt...only stay if desperate and have no other affordable options. It's a 2 star establishment,; not sure how it qualifies as a 3 star.

The rooms were amazing and the cleanest I've ever seen (we inspect thoroughly) BUT the woman you first meet at ground floor is so miserable it's off putting. I spoke with several other people staying there and they had much to say about her attitude. Even when you weren't speaking to her, she gave you horrible dirty looks! Also a meal and one beer is as much as one night stay. Other than that, was a great stay.

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you definitely will love it I'm sure! Stay Here. This place is perhaps my favorite hotel in all of Charlotte for many reasons. Hospitality: The staff here are some of the nicest people I have met. They will always go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. As a Hyatt elite member, they always ensure I get the rooms I requested w/ early check in and late check out. Out of the many (10+) times I have stayed here, I have yet to run in to a single problem w/ the staff. In fact, I look forward to seeing familiar faces at the front desk each time I check in. Rooms: The rooms are simple. If you want lavish finishes and fine art in your room then this isn't the place for you. However, if you want a practical but luxurious space to unwind w/ a gorgeous view of our Charlotte skyline, then you have found the spot. The rooms are spacious (some larger than my apartment) and always clean. The bed is comfortable, pillows are soft, and honestly I feel like I am at home every time I come here. I can't say I have said that about any other hotel. Amenities/Logistics: While they do not offer covered daily self parking (perhaps something they can add later?) There are plenty of surface lots in the area that you can park in. The hotel is easily accessible via the elevators right when you walk through the front door and the lobby is beautiful. They offer a small gym as well for getting your workout in during your trip. Overall: I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Charlotte whether for business or pleasure. Expect kind, friendly staff, no-fuss beautiful rooms w/ a view, a comfy, clean bed to rest and complimentary breakfast to wake up to! Trust me, you'll want to keep coming back.

Breakfast was quite good and better than I expected. Room was comfortable and mostly clean, although there was something on the bathroom wall that could have been a stain, but I didn't investigate because it was a little scary. Bed was comfortable and I would have slept great if my husband hadn't been snoring! The lobby was not particularly attractive, and it was a little odd to check in on 10 instead of the lobby, but it was also reasonably priced for a downtown hotel during a convention. Easy walking distance to most things downtown. The AC was cranking which was an absolute necessity as it was HOT and HUMID outside.

Customer service is a zero priority. Used their valet parking and received a Preferred Parking (private lot company) violation six months later because valet parked my car in a spot they should not have used. The violation was obviously removed from my windshield by valet when he retrieved my car. I tipped and received my keys back. Six months later, I’m paying a $70 fine. I reached out to the hotel manager and operations manager, and of course they will take no responsibility. The kid who robbed me over five bucks probably doesn’t even work there anymore. I will never use valet parking again anywhere, and you can rest well that I will never use a Hyatt for any purpose under the sun. Words don’t really capture how angry the situation has made me. I’m not removing this review, nor am I willing to accept payment for my fine from the Hyatt. These reviews are meant to show the truth, and that’s what this is.

I stayed here for one day and as soon as I got in the room I had to fix two lamps two T.Vs and two phones. By the time someone showed up to fix it I had already done it myself. Then later I asked front desk to bring us a fork and after waiting for an hour and a half I went to the desk and they where seat out in the eating area on there phones with nobody attending the front desk. After checking out of the room I received a phone call from my boss stating that the GM called my him and said that I was smoking in the room which was not the truth and she was very rude on the phone and took my deposit and another hundred and fifty dollars off my card. When I told her that I was going to call corporate she didn't care and continued to be rude. Because of this I left my job with Hyatt. If this is how they treat there guests I don't want to work for a company like that. I will never work for Hyatt ever again let alone stay there anymore. The managers suck and the up keep of the place is too. Do not stay there.

This has been the worst hotel stay EVER!! And I have stayed in well over 400 hotels in my life time. The noise on this floor has been HORRIBLE!! We have heard the people beside us, door slam numous times, bagging on the walls, loud talking in the hallway for well over 4 hours straight now. It is 12:33 am and I can't sleep because of it. That's not even the half of it. From the time we entered the hotel, it has been nothing but confusion. The staff was nice. But I told my family, that we will NEVER EVER stay here again. This was not a good experience at all. You are supposed to go out of town and be able to relax where you lay your head. This was not relaxing at all.

Rooms: 5/5, VERY spacious and comfortable bed. Location: 5/5, nestled in uptown Charlotte Breakfast: 5/5, delicious, lots of options. Friendly staff Parking: 2/5, valet parking only and it's $38. However we ended up parking at the public lot next door which was $20 for 10 hours overnight.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The elevators were out of service on one of the busiest weekends in the downtown Charlotte area (Charlotte Hornets and pro Soccer team first event). There are no interior floor stair wells accessible from the ground floor. The stair well exits to the street only. So you must use the elevator on the ground floor to access rooms. There was only ONE elevator accessible during our stay (the other elevators were all out of service). You MUST check in to the hotel on the TENTH floor (very strange).

Make sure to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. Great place to stay if you are going to a concert at the Spectrum Center. Room prices are reasonable and a 7 minute walk to the concert venue.

The hotel is ok if you're staying for one night. I'm putting three stars because the linen was riddled with holes and one of the towels was dirty. The room design was rather odd, with the TV placed behind the pylon. Everything is very dated. The registration desk is on the 10th floor and the hotel only has valet parking. There's public parking right in front of the hotel, which is cheaper. Make sure you paid for the whole night; I saw the cars being towed away almost instantaneously. Unusually good breakfast.

Without a doubt it is a beautiful hotel, I recommend it 100%, the rooms are very nice and perfect for resting, without a doubt I would stay with you again. Just as a comment, I have seen some hotels that leave a couple of bottles of water in the rooms for free for their guests. I think it would be good to do that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Parking not included. Forced to pay an extra $40 for parking per night. They had 1 elevator down, no one working on it, so only 1 elevator was operating. Waited 10 minutes each time to change floors. Nothing special to note about this hotel. The room was fine.

Looking for hotel deals used to stress me out. But with ʜᴏᴛᴇʟᴅᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ, everything became so much easier. This room? Got it at a price I couldn't believe, all thanks to them. The hotel was definitely the highlight of the trip. The room was great, the staff were exceptional and the breakfast was consistently excellent each day. Couldn't fault anything. A special mention to Darius who was the most helpful and pleasant person we met on our trip to the US.

We loved staying here. The room was spotless, and the service was really prompt and good. Nicely located. I will say so much of the North end is under construction. It's not that it's noisy, but it can obstruct the view. Once this is complete, its the perfect place to stay.

Customer service was awesome especially Darius, he went above and beyond. Elite service. The room was nice but the toilet continued to run when flushed and we were offered another room but we were leaving the next day. The location was awesome we were in the mix of everything downtown and if you are ever in Charlotte you have got to eat at the midnight cafe, you won't regret it!

Truly enjoyed our stay here. Every staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. The breakfast and lobby was my favorite part of the stay— delicious. There is a high rise restaurant called Fahrenheit on the rooftop, I recommend checking that out as you can sit outside to enjoy the view without purchasing a meal or drink. Their pool was underwhelming, we were looking forward to it. Our room was huge! Very spacious offering a pull out sofa. The room did not include a microwave but the lobby does which forced us great conversations over leftovers in their spacious lobby with many couches, tables, booths, and chairs. Even computers for guest use. Beautiful lobby. Could purchase a drink from the bar and snacks at the lobby desk. Turned out perfectly lol. Valet is overpriced and mandatory. Huge con for me as I don’t find the luxury in a stranger driving my vehicle. So do beware it’s 38/night.

I traveled from a different city to visit Charlotte to get a little relaxation but however, I didn't like the fact that I thought I had paid for my room online which was a total of 309 and then I get to the hotel and they tell me I got to pay 430 that's a big difference from the online price that I thought I had paid. The deposit said 50 and then we get there it's 75. Long story short if it weren't for the fact we were with family I would've had to pack my kids up and drive all the way back home. They need to make that clearer online and make sure the prices match.

We loved our stay at this hotel. We loved the front desk person named Jean. She was fantastic and very personable. We very quickly became friends with her and she made our stay even better than it already was. -Carol Ann & Tiffany Neville, the sister-in-laws

The staff was very respectful and helpful during my stay. The rooms were okay but a little outdated for what I expected. The King Suite is more than enough room but you would expect more from a visual aspect. The bathroom was more of the eye catching room for me. The bed/sheets were okay. Overall a good stay for 1-2 nights and being able to go to the rooftop bar adjacent from it.

One-night stay as I was passing through Charlotte. Can't say that I was pleased to have to do valet parking on a Saturday night, since this took about 15 minutes while all sorts of luxury vehicles -- clearly owned by well-off locals -- were coming through and getting seemingly preferential treatment. Whatever... once in the hotel pretty much everything was as good as one would hope. Great view of downtown Charlotte, big modern rooms, and perfectly serviceable breakfast. Staff were friendly, too.

Think they're havin' a bad week. Been here 5 days/4 nights & elevators have been out most of the time, my room's tv crapped out after second night, they moved me @ my request from right behind the elevator shafts. So they put me underneath the fitness center, big improvement, not but it wasn't worth it to request another change. Was only noisy till around 10 and rhen again around 7 so not horrible. They're trying.

Rooms are very spacious however getting to them is crazy. Lobby on 10th floor. Hotel rooms are above that.Elevators are constantly under repair if even one works at all. Be prepared to walk at least 11 floors. Valet parking is $38 a day. The employees try really hard but it's obvious they have no training or knowledge of the area. It is close to the major venues but only stay here if you have no other option. Disappointing for a Hyatt.

    - Great stay. Beware the lobby is on the 10th floor and there are no Tubs in the bathrooms (at least mine didn't have one). - Breakfast was really good - Only down side was there was only one elevator working for the entire building

Parking was a bit funky with the valet only(PS its expensive, you can call the hotel for rates). But other than that, we had a massive room around 600-700 sqft. It really gave off fancy vibes. We loved it. ALSO MAKE SURE TO ENTER FROM 3rd STREET.

The night and day staff were really great and accommodating, especially since I have to use crutches to get around. They asked to help me before I even thought I needed it! Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Valet was great as well. Thank you very much.

I am usually not the one to complain much but this has to be one of the worst hotel experience's I have had in awhile. I would ADVISE no one to valet your car unless you want it coming back damaged and dented. I paid for overpriced overnight parking to end up with thousands of dollars in repairs on my vehicle to be done. My vehicle did not leave the premises of the hotel until the day I checked out. Calling the valet company is ridiculous they will tell you once you leave the premises of the hotel they will not cover the damages. Whoever I spoke with was very rude. They told me that they check the cars for damages before giving it back to you and clearly no one said anything about the damages. Instead I was rushed off quickly. It is very discouraging when you trust your vehicle in someone's hands and for it to come back that way. There also was a huge after party Saturday night for a famous rapper apparently what we were told at 1 AM and the music was echoing through the whole hotel and into our room. We had families staying on the same floor as us with kids being woken up crying non stop. We called the front desk and they seemed to not care saying that there nothing that could be done. Being a Hyatt hotel this did not exceed my expectations and I will never stay with this franchise ever again.
