Oh my God! This is the nicest, most elegant, upscale Hampton Inn I’ve ever experienced! The choice of furnishings, decor, fixtures, and extra spacious rooms and suites were similar to a much higher level hotel. So many nice shops & restaurants are in walking distance. This is an upscale area. You’ll pay a bit more than your average Hampton Inn, but it is well worth it!

My stay was less than desireable. We come here every year for Valentine’s Day and celebrate at the Palm which is walking distance away. You have to valet park your car since there’s barely any parking space at Phillips place. The bed is the best part of the hotel, not being sarcastic. Like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast bar was convenient, staff was friendly and made sure to say hey. However, there was a new valet driver that was training that weekend and was unable to find our car on two separate occasions which made us late for our dinner reservations and was overall stressful. Luckily the shuttled driver helped him out and finally found the car. The following days as we’re about to check out, we’re packing up the car and notice two white DEEP scratches stretching across the span of the rear passenger door, on my all black Cadillac. There is no valet in the morning on Sunday, so no one to ask any questions too. I spoke with a woman by the name of Laura and am still waiting to hear back from her. Hotel is nice but I’d either park your car yourself (if you’re lucky) or try your luck at some of the nicer hotels right up the road. Not much of a relaxing getaway when the car repairs costs more than the room!

I will go out of my way to stay here again! This Hampton is upscale and feels like a fine resort. The TV in the bathroom mirror was really cool. Location is great as so many great restaurants and shops are a very short walk which is good because when you find a parking spot you better keep it! Busy area...lovely hotel! We only stay at Hamptons and this was by far the nicest!

This hotel is in a great location and it is a place we have stayed several times in the past. It's a 4+ star hotel that earned a 1 star on our most recent visit. The room smelled really bad and because the hotel was fully booked we were unable to switch rooms. We tried to use air freshener to help with the musty wet dog smell but it didn't help much. One of our family members was nauseous during the night from the smell. We tried to switch to a new room for our second night but they didn't have a room we could move to. The Hilton website said they had several other 2 queen rooms available but the staff said they did not. We moved to a new hotel for our second night. Whatever you do, do not stay in room 304! I know the staff did not resolve the issue after we left. They did not seem to concerned about our issue in my opinion and I don't think they would be concerned for others. Very disappointing all around experience.

This is a pretty hotel, it is older but they have updated the decor. Likes - the lobby is pretty and all appears clean, there is a large breakfast area and free breakfast. The king room was large and spacious, clean and pretty. I got a whirlpool tub room I didn’t use the bath tub but it was really nice in the room. They provided a lot of towels and wash cloths and pillows!!! Also the provided free bottled water when you check in. The bathroom was a good size even without a tub, even though it was just a stand up shower. There are about four or five restaurants in the same plaza as the hotel and a Whole Foods you can walk to. There were only a few Dislikes - the shower curtain was thin I was worried about the water but it keep the water in good and there were a few strands of hair in the shower and self parking is difficult because it is in the plaza with a lot of other businesses. Overall I like the hotel and enjoyed my stay!!!!!!

The room was clean and property well taken care of. We were in 620 on the 6th floor. The air conditioners on top of the building was so loud we were unable to sleep even using ear plugs. Couldn’t be moved to another room because the Inn was full. When we checked out the next day we were told some would contact us. We haven’t been contacted. Please do not stay in room 620

Stayed here for a long weekend and a concert. Staff was very friendly and fun to talk with. They were very interested in the concerts we went to. The rooms themselves were very nice. They were very spacious (more so than many rooms I have ever stayed at). Likewise the bathroom was a good size. The bathroom had a very large tub in it and a television in the mirror itself. Likewise it has the mini fridge and microwave. Likewise, the hotel is in a pretty awesome location. There are a whole bunch of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. In addition, there is a mall within 5 minutes of the hotel itself. There are a ton of restaurants in the immediate area and it was only about a 10-15 minute drive from Uptown Charlotte (the downtown area; don't ask me why it's called that). My one and only complaint is the parking here can suck at times. There was one night we got back around 7 pm or so and we spent nearly an hour looking for parking. Since there is no distinction between hotel parking and the shops and restaurants, it can cause parking to fill up (even the valet parking was full). That was a little frustrating.

Location and front desk service staff were outstanding and made the visit more tolerable. The room was deficient in terms of the HVAC system and the amenities inside the room are outdated. The hotel is not a 3 star hotel classification at best 2 star. In addition, we were told ownership has changed from the Hilton family to Simon same company that owns the mall. The hotel requires upgrades. My recommendation is look elsewhere for a hotel that may not have the glossy appearance or the location, but provides rooms with upgrades. I Do Not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel that has maintained the rooms for guests and doesn’t require room changes or maintenance while visiting.

Nicest Hampton inn I’ve stayed at! As a Hilton honors member I typically choose Hilton Garden Inns but with my recent experience at several Hilton Garden inn locations I’ve been disappointed. Great area! Pet friendly! Pretty decent complimentary breakfast highly recommend! Shoutout to Nadia and Greg for their excellent customer service and going above and beyond!

My husband had surgery in May and this place was recommended by a friend to stay. We love this place! The location was perfect and everyone who works here is so nice! Their customer service is off the charts!!! My husband was in the hospital for about 2 weeks and everyone that works here made me feel like family! It was so comforting to me since I didn’t know anyone. We have to go back frequently for checkups and they always give us our same room. The room was perfect! It is a suite with a living area, and a small kitchenette. I just can’t say enough good things about all the staff and management!!!

Have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times. I love it! Wonderful staff (shout out to Nadia and Greg…they are wonderful!!), fabulous location, clean and updated rooms and a nice breakfast. All the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay THE best! Can’t wait to go back.

Nice hotel..! Went here for a small conference in one of their rooms. Really updated on the inside lobby. Parking was a little challenging, but overall good area. Few pubs and places to eat close by.

I was pleasantly greeted by Hannah and Greg when I arrived. They were so welcoming, kind, and funny while I checked in. They truly enjoy working together which is refreshing to see. This hotel is well-kept and my room was very clean. The cheese omelets, bacon, and sausage patties were delicious and I'm sure the waffles are too...watching my carb intake! The Phillips Place area provides a variety of shopping and dining options within walking distance or just a short drive. There's a shuttle service available as well as a small convenience store in the lobby stocked with items you may have forgotten or need unexpectedly. As a Dr. Bednar patient, I could instantly tell the staff is especially attentive and compassionate to pre & post-op guests, as a hotel that frequently accommodates #BednarBabes. Highly recommend!

This Hampton in is a must stay if in Charlotte. We stayed here while traveling and the room was phenomenal. Very clean and elegant. Erica at the front desk was very nice and provided great service, and we were able to take the hotel shuttle for dinner that evening! I hope to come back soon.

This Hampton Inn is in the top 1% of Hampton Inns. Parking and check in are easy and the location is great. Tons of restaurants nearby within walking distance. They also offer free laundry! I have stayed here multiples times when I am visiting for work and every time has great. Hannah at the front desk went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend staying here!

This Hampton Inn is not only in the best location, it is clean, very pretty and up dated, and the staff (every single one) were all extremely friendly and accomodating. We were greated immediately by the very nice gentlmen at the door and was offered complimentary valet, then the young lady that checked us in was not only professional but very nice and when she saw my room number, she even told me about the view from the room! I make several trips to Charlotte during the year and I will be staying here from now on. You will not be dissapointed!

I have stayed in many Hampton Inns and this is one of the nicest I have been to. Located in an upscale shopping area, you can walk out the door and have several nice restaurants to choose from. Staff very helpful as well. I had a regular room and it was more spacious than a typical room.

The hotel located right by the SouthPark mall in Charlotte was absolutely amazing! We stayed for one night in the American Girl Deluxe package room. We were greeted by wonderful sights outside the hotel and luxury decor inside. Upon arrival, there was a pink carpet and check in specially for my daughter’s American Girl. The front desk staff took her photos and showed us everything the package included. The entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel special. The room we had was a suite that had a living room area in it and the setup was great. It was completely clean and spotless. My daughter had milk and cookies waiting for her in the room. Before we went to sleep, her photos were placed under the door as a surprise for the night. There was even shuttle service to the mall and the staff were happy to drive us if we needed it. The breakfast was great and had many options to choose from. They even had a doll chair for my daughter’s doll to sit at the table and eat breakfast with us! I would highly recommend this hotel if you ever stay in Charlotte.

I tried to book a room here for a client & was completely turned off at the lack of trying to accommodate a simple request. After asking to speak to the manager, she went to see if they were available. She came back pretty quickly & said that he was unavailable & to give my contact information. I informed her that they just lost a customer. I am a business owner in Charlotte & come in contact with many clients who need hotel stays. This has been the first not willing to make a small accommodation. We had to take our business elsewhere & it’s unfortunate because this hotel is in a prime location & I know many physicians who refer their patients to stay here. Maybe they will change their mind after this experience.

My daughter and I visited this hotel for the "American Girl" experience and it was wonderful. The suite was beautiful and all of the employees treated my daughter like a princess. I highly recommend this!

Lovely hotel. The place was clean and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We always love to stay at Hampton Inn, but the staff here went above and beyond. Location was great…lots of restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Excellent facilities. No issues with noise at any point. Clean rooms. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet. We made the mistake of being the only people at the breakfast buffet one morning. As a veteran, I felt like I was straight back at basic training. The 2 individuals watching over the buffet hovered over us the entire time barking directions for the waffle machine like we had no clue how to use it. "The waffle machine has been sprayed already", "don't use those cups", "flip it this way not that way". It seemed to never end. We were relieved when the stupid waffles were made and they finally backed off a little. We get that they don't want to clean up a mess but the customer service left something to be desired. We didn't even bother with the breakfast our last morning because I'd rather pay out of pocket than get basic training flashbacks.

Fergie greeted me as I walked in. He made checking in problem free and efficient. We were up to our room in no time. The room was spacious and lovely. We really enjoyed our stay with them. Breakfast was served from 6:30am-10pm and had lots to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place. One of the nicer Hamptons I’ve stayed at. Jacuzzi room is nice. Not like usual hotel jacuzzi rooms. Very clean, good location.. located in Philips place in Southpark, Charlotte. Highly recommend

The Hampton Inn at SouthPark at Phillips Place is the nicest Hampton Inn you will ever encounter. The property is a step up from most Hilton properties of any brand. Great staff, very attentive to details. The hotel is well maintained and is conveniently located within walking distance of Whole Foods, many restaurants and great shopping.

Never stayed at a hotel with a TV in the mirror. Had a great birthday night there. Clean, friendly, good breakfast selection. Comfy beds and spa tub is a plus.

The location of the Hampton Inn & suites at Phillips Place is perfect! It’s walking distance to the mall, Whole Foods, and it’s a cute safe area to walk around. The staff is wonderful, accommodating and very kind and helpful. This is my second stay at this hotel and I could not recommend them any higher. The rooms are very clean and spacious. My room had a mini fridge, microwave, and small coffee maker. They have a free breakfast every morning with a very nice assortment of items and wonderful coffee and teas. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby, but if you want to just do some grocery shopping at Whole Foods and hang out in your room this is the perfect place to do just that! They have a shuttle that will take you within a certain radius of the hotel and all of the drivers are very gracious. The hotel was only about a $20 Uber ride from Charlotte airport. I would recommend anybody who has business, personal or medical needs in the Charlotte Southpark area consider this hotel very highly. Thank you so much to the entire staff!

My wife was staying at this hotel for a mother's day present. We have stayed at many Hilton's in the past as we travel to Florida at least 3 times a year and my company uses Hilton's for our business trips. My wife was so impressed with this hotel. She said that out of all the Hilton's we have been to this has to be one of the best. She is hoping that we do a staycation and go here with me. Thank you for taking care of her and giving her a great mother's day away.
