A hotel with Superior and friendly customer service and inviting lobby and outdoor area. Best for business travelers with easy access to the airport. For weekend leisure travelers, the spot is a little remote but has easy access to everything in uptown in South Charlotte. Rooms are a little bland. Need updating and ventilation. Also TVs don't allow digital checkout. That needs to be addressed. But for the $ and location it's a solid pick.

Room was cleaned and well maintained. Lisa and Tiffany are simply amazing people! Enjoyed their company and service while dinning here. Great conversation, great people, and great food. I look forward to coming back as I travel a lot. This hotel will be where I stay for now on. Thank you both!

Everything about the hotel, except the airport shuttle met my expectations. The staff was really nice, the location was very convenient to the airport, and the room was nice. My complaint is the airport shuttle and the driver. Upon my arrival to Charlotte, I called the hotel and asked for a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I was told that the shuttle picks up at the airport every 30 minutes. I waited at the pickup area for a hour without a shuttle arriving. After calling the hotel again, they told me the shuttle would be there in 10 minutes. When I finally got picked up, the driver told me the shuttle does not run every 30 minutes, it’s only by request, even though I requested a shuttle 1 hour prior. The next day while checking out I requested a shuttle to the airport. Again I was told the shuttle runs every 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, the hotel staff asked the shuttle driver his location and he responded he’s arriving now. It took him about 10-15 minutes to arrive after telling the staff that he was pulling up. The hotel is really nice, but the shuttle, and the driver needs to improve. If shuttle ran as it was supposed to I would rate the hotel 10/10.

As a frequent traveler with the Hilton ; I will give this location 5 starts. I was greeted as a Hilton honors member ; in addition the rooms and Hotel was very clean. Receptionist Sam took great care of us ; Carolina with house keeping was a gem ; and Yolanda at the restaurant was a joy as well. Will definitely return !

Clean and super nice. Employees were helpful. This hotel has a restaurant. We didn't get to eat at it so... This hotel has shuttle to the airport. Driver was absolutely the nicest! We're leaving our car for 8 days and it's a $25 fee. Not bad. Plus we were told that the police drive through the parking lot often keeping check. Our only problem was that our window shade in our room wouldn't go all the way down letting parking lot light shine in.

The hotel is a short drive from the airport. They do offer a shuttle. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast that's included with the room wasn't very impressive. However, they do have a paid menu you can order from.

Outstanding Stay and Breakfast Experience at Hilton Garden Inn, Charlotte Airport! I had a delightful stay at Hilton Garden Inn, Charlotte Airport, last night, and the highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast! The waitresses were not only kind but also incredibly helpful, delivering exceptional service with a genuine smile. What truly stood out was the flavorful and well-cooked food. The breakfast had a perfect balance of taste, and having a cook prepare dishes to order added an extra layer of freshness and excellence to the experience. From start to finish, the breakfast at Hilton Garden Inn exceeded my expectations. If you're seeking a hotel with not only a comfortable stay but also a memorable breakfast, this is the place to be. Kudos to the amazing staff for making my morning truly exceptional. I can't recommend it enough! 👏🌟

It’s a clean hotel. Friendly staff. Nice lobby and dining area with full bar. The negative on this establishment is the shuttle service. If you are relying on the shuttle for a return from the Airport to the hotel expect chaos. The communication of when and where the shuttle is arriving for pick up is terrible. The driver’s also just load the shuttle with no refrain on seating limitations or hierarchy of rider’s wait time. For that reason I have a hard time recommending this Hilton and especially since I am a Diamond Member.

Such mixed reviews for this hotel. Our experience was excellent. We chose this in order to pick up our daughter the next day at the airport. Hotel is attractive, comfortable & well planned out. Anything you might need or want, its here. We checked in (pleasant), rooms are up to date, large, attractive & beds comfortable. Bathroom clean & up to date, and yes … the toilet stool is way too low. A purchasing goof for sure. We ate at the restaurant, select menu was good and food was tasty, service was prompt and friendly. The hotel’s lobby, restaurant, & lounge are all one attractive space. Grounds well maintained as was the pool. Airport traffic …. Honestly I haven’t even noticed it. The shuttle runs 24 hours, every 30 minutes. Nice job Hilton, great value.

This hotel has such great reviews but I don’t understand why. The staff is rude and they smoke in groups right outside the doors so you have to walk by them. They tell you there is some complimentary breakfast and then intermix it with the “buffet”. The 8.95 buffet only has oatmeal, cereal and bagels. Nothing worth that price. The room keys would work sometimes. They would work at the pool and then not at the room. Or and random combination. Overall very disappointed with this hotel. Stayed in the Hampton Inn in Laconia the night before and had a great experience. Hilton should want their brand to be a little more consistent.

Reading some of the reviews makes me wonder if I stayed at the same place. 🤔 Nevertheless, my stay was great! I arrived right at check-in time on Fri 7/11/23 and was able to quickly validate my reservation and head to my room. The room was nice, super clean, and there was even a personalized greeting on the SmartTV. The lobby has a dining area complete with many snack items and a kitchen supplying a menu of made to order items. Outside the indoor dining area is a furnished patio. To the rear of hotel, there is also a nice outdoor area with a walk-around pond. It was very scenic and peaceful to sit outside and watch the sunset and then walk back to the patio to continue enjoying the fresh air as the night rolled in. The only drawback was the temperature of the water in my room (Room 410). It didn't get very hot, but was tolerable.

The room was clean, and everyone was polite. They have a very nice patio with a fire pit, and breakfast was cooked just right. The price was great for what we received. I'd definitely pick to stay here again.

I had a great experience. I loved being able to check in with the Hilton app, and the digital room key using my phone! Never had to stop by the front desk at all - amazing. Room was large, comfy, clean, quiet. Didn’t have any issues

Stayed a night at the beginning of our week long trip and a night at the end of the trip. Used the airport shuttle both times. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Good stay for the price. Needs to be some better communication between staff you speak to about getting the shuttle and the actual driver but other than that no issues. Shuttle driver was very nice.

I recently stayed here on a brief stop before heading to another city , and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. And after staying in another Hilton Garden Inn, in another part of the country just a week prior, I can truly say, this location stands out above the rest. The front desk staff is super helpful and kind, but by far the person who stood at the most was a very nice woman named Janet , who was part of the wait staff in the lobby restaurant. She, I think, was on duty by herself for most of the time we were sitting there having dinner, and she still found a way to be patient and pleasant with every single table of guests. She answered questions, made suggestions, and did it all with a smile. I would highly recommend this location for a brief or long stay.

This was the absolute worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. I am an avid fan of Hilton properties and have never had this problem in the past. I was stuck in Charlotte overnight for work and booked a room through the online app. Within 45 minutes I called to cancel the reservation because I was tired of waiting for the shuttle and an Embassy Suites shuttle was sitting in front of me. The team at Embassy Suites was AWESOME and welcoming after my long day. The team at Hilton Garden Inn however refused to cancel my reservation (made less than 1 hour ago) without charging me for the entire stay as a penalty. The front desk associate then proceeded to argue with me over whether or not the shuttle had been at the airport during the 25-30 minutes I was standing in the airport shuttle area waiting. Then I was belittled for not calling the hotel to ask about the shuttle. Charged me $190.78. At least the Hilton Honors team made it right and is going to send me a check to reimburse me for the horrible experience this was. Again...called and cancelled the reservation in less than 1 hour of booking. So sad when customer service has dropped to this level of apathy.

There were no pillows just lumpy beanbags being passed off as pillows. The Neutrogena products have been replaced with no name brand products that are glued/stapled to the shower and vanity walls... Very dormitory-like. Quality of hotel has gone down in the last two months. Workman cart/contractor cart left in the hallway for two days... No Work done and the cart never moved. Very Tacky and Very Expensive... Why? Will not stay again or recommend.

I have stayed at many Hilton’s and this was by far the worst one I’ve ever stayed at. This hotel nickel and dimes you for everything, coffee $3 water $8 absolutely unbelievable. Chose this hotel out of convenience as I’m traveling for work and it has been anything but. Oh and $4.95 for Wi-Fi per day! On top of that, during my stay there has not been hot water in the hotel since yesterday and we get woken up by fire alarms this morning! Save yourself money and don’t eat dinner here, it was disgusting. Save yourself even more money and don’t stay here at all.

Hotel room was nice. Bed was comfortable. My major gripe was breakfast. Not really any included items except coffee and juice. Its ok to charge for premium hot items, but they should at least have some continental items included with room stay. Even bagels and toast were not included. Disappointing for a Hilton.

Staff here was very friendly and great with recommendations of local places to eat. The rooms are a bit dated, however this hotel is close to the airport and offers a shuttle ride to and from. Breakfast was made to order, and they also have a variety of quick breakfast items to pick from as well.

Very nice stay. clean, spacious. They had bottles(shampoo, conditioner, body gel, cream) screwed into the wall. It really smelled nice. In the shower, wish the shampoo and conditioner had different color bottles so the folks having very bad eyesight can tell the difference. Staff wad the nicest. Would highly recommend it and would stay there again

Wonderful person at front desk when we arrived! Clarissa is very welcoming, personable and efficient at the Front Desk. She has a sunny personality and obviously loves her job. Our room was spotless as was the hallways and the breakfast area. Will stay again when we are in Charlotte!

Worst hotel experience I have had. The alarm clock was set to go off every hour starting g at 2 am. Even unplugging it did not stop it. Called front desk and they wanted me to bring it all the way down to them to turn off. Told him I would put it out in the hall as I have all ready been inconvienanced enough. House keeping starts knocking on doors at 9am. I have a late check out and trying g to recover from the sleep I lost because of the alarm clock issue. Call down and I'm told that is the only way they know if the rooms are empty or not. It is 2022, start providing house keeping g with a list of those who checked put all ready. Have them wait till 10 am to start knocking on other doors. Give your customers a little more respect and quiet time since we pay a lot of money to stay in your hotel. I'm only here because the Hampton Inn I usually stay at was booked.

Great place to relax. The only issues i had was getting the bill late and charged to my account 2 weeks later after my stay.. during breakfast the lady was hovering us. We didnt do anything wrong she was just all on top of us... It was very unpleasant. Other than that the hotel and service was great.

Update: just got a call, they said the charge was in error and will refund. Thank you Update: spoke with the manager who said "did they have a pet" No, "oh, then it was a charge from the bar" At check in? They didn't go to the bar, the cereal was $20, breakfast is not free. Currently waiting on a copy of the receipt. This was either fraud or an accident. Either way, if they don't fix it, I will be filing a formal complaint. Check in on 7/2/2022. Was charged 426.87 for 2 night stay. They ran a separate charge for 188.15 at the same time. They still haven't issued a refund and they won't answer my calls or return my call. This is the second Hilton in Charlotte that charged us money for services not rendered. Will never use Hilton again.

I stayed for a work event. I found it comfortable but confusing to find my room if I used the stairs. The complimentary breakfast had a nice hot oatmeal with your choice of mix ins, cold cereals, muffins or you could pay for egg dishes. Our lunches were included, with dessert and were quite flavorful. Dessert brownies were tasty and nicely presented. Our first conference room had hvac issues so at our next break they switched out. This was my first Hilton stay and I would not make it my last, I found it small but comfortable.

Stayed for one night for a concert. Everything was phenomenal except check in was at 3 and there was a line because rooms were not clean. The staff were courteous and kept checking back in with everyone to try and get guests rooms ASAP. It was in a quiet area and would most definitely stay again!
