Over an hour wait to check in, only one computer was operating. They do not have a restaurant as advertised, they have stale prepackaged food they throw in a microwave then charge absurd rates so they can rob the guests that get stranded at their location due to airline issues. The rooms are incredibly noisy, it sounds as if the windows are open. You would be better off sleeping at the airport than taking the “free” voucher the airline offers for this location. The bar tender was great though, she seemed sympathetic and embarrassed by the mess that the hotel is. This is what an $18 “burger” with fries and an $8 beer looks like - the fries are not invisible, they’re nonexistent.

0 stars would be too low. Flight was delayed into Charlotte, landed around midnight and took the shuttle to the Hyatt. Upon check in they inform me the hotel is overbooked and my reservation got cancelled. It was reserved well in advance and no-one notified me. The woman working the front desk had zero F's to give. Zero. No help to find another hotel, nothing. Completely useless. I walked to all nearby hotels with my luggage but everything was booked. Ended up finding something at 3:30am in the worst motel you've ever seen. I get that sh*t happens but the complete lack of caring or assistance was impressive. This place sucks.

We stayed here during a business trip, and though our trip got off on the wrong foot, overall we had a pleasant stay. We arrived at the airport in the evening and called for the shuttle to pick us up. Unfortunately, we waited over half an hour for the shuttle to arrive after being told it would be there in 10 minutes and had to call the front desk several times. Once the shuttle did arrive, it was only a 10 minute drive to get to the hotel. The check-in process was quick and easy. The rooms were very large - they had a large living room, an office area, a bedroom area and a bathroom. There was a mini fridge as well, which is always nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom could've used an update, but was functional and adequate. Breakfast in the morning was included with our rate and was comprised of eggs, waffles and some pastries along with coffee, tea and juice. When we arrived back at the hotel the second night, all the power was out. The manager was there and opened the bar and ordered pizza for everyone to apologize for the inconvenience, which was nice. They had an electrician on site right away and the issue was fixed promptly. Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant.

SHUTTLE ISSUES: Was a stranded traveler and stayed here. Staff is nice, but slow and distracted. They are constantly answering phone calls, long wait time to check in and failed to write down shuttle service request for next day. They also did this to other people as we talked to them at breakfast area. Room and breakfast were fine, but would not recommend this hotel.

Coco was super friendly and made us food when it appeared the kitchen was closed. We were starving and she made our night much better. Go Blue!

My family and I stayed here for a total of 8 nights. With 7 children age range 4-9 When I tell you we enjoyed every minute of it. Especially JOEL he made us feel very welcome. From the time we checked in he was so very helpful. He said the children brought a lot of sunshine to the hotel. Upon leaving it was sad to say goodbye. When in Charlotte again, this is definitely our go to. The staff were very friendly. Great places to eat nearby. 10/10 rating.

I was expecting the building to be nicer. Our room had water stained ceiling tiles, peeling paint, and the hallway had strange odors. On our second night water started coming in through the roof inside and outside our room. Staff at the front desk could also be more friendly.

Staff is kind and helpful. The shutter to the airport was a delight surprise. If you want to be near to Charlotte's attractions this is not a good location, but if you need to stay next to the airport, as I did, it's a good option. It's also close (by car) to the Billy Graham library.

What a frustrating place to stay. The breakfast is weak. The eggs were neon yellow and rubbery/watery. Then, the electricity went out for most of one of my day/night and didn’t come back on until 8PM, so I wasn’t able to work and had to spend money on an Uber to go to a coffee shop. Next, I was overcharged by $80.13. When, I brought that to the front desk’s attention, she apologized and said she corrected it. After looking at the receipt that she emailed me, it was not corrected. I had to come back to the hotel and she said that the manager will call me about it later.

I never called a hotel where I was repeatedly hung up on. The front desk employee, Chad is rude and felt very comfortable hanging up on multiple customers that were inquiring about the shuttle. We all waited 1 hour and 45 minutes. Five of us decided to take a cab to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we asked him why was he hanging up on us , he just laughed as if this is business as usual. When I complained to the General Manager Amy, Panunzio, she said she was hired to fix problems such as this. She also shared with me that he was the employee of the month for October, 2023. This guy lacks customer service and obviously he is being protected by management. I'm sure this is something he does often, he was too comfortable hanging up on customers. She seemed to be annoyed when I made the complaint.

I love nice, luxury and expensive rooms. While this was none of the above, it was affordable (I did not book the room, or have any say so in the room being booked). This was my first time staying at the Hyatt and it was a comfortable stay. Luxury it was not but all the staff on both day and night shift were nice. I would recommend this to those traveling with children or maybe a family reunion stay. It was also extremely quiet as well. If looking for a romantic stay, this isn’t it, the shower isn’t big enough for any adult activity, barely large enough for one person. Overall a 6 out of 10.

I checked in very late and I was pleased to be greeted by two ladies who helped me and made check in so easy. This is the type of service that frequent travelers need and want. The shuttle to the airport the next morning certainly made my life easier. Although the shuttle only runs until midnight, it was a very cheap Uber ride to get here so that was cool too. 🫶🏾

My sister and I booked this hotel for our annual sister's trip. The hotel was great and service was great as well! My only complaint was on our first night, it appeared that someone had been smoking in the room because it had the leftover smell and the stopper in the sink malfunctioned. We immediately reported it and was offered another room. However, after being on the road all day we opted not to take it. We got some Febreeze and maintenance fixed the sink. I can't speak enough about the staff. Everyone was super friendly and actually appeared happy to serve us during our stay here. The breakfast was phenomenal as well. I was not disappointed at all during my stay in Charlotte.

Room was clean but smelled slightly like old carpet. Breakfast was not worth taking the elevator. No food, plates or silverware. Drinks were not cold.

Wonderful option for airport parking compared to the actual airport parking setup. $8 a day, with free shuttle service every 30 minutes is amazing. The shuttle driver was not only hilarious but punctual. The receptionist at the front counter was extremely helpful and happy to answer any of my questions. 10/10, will be back again.

Excellent staff! Beyond accommodating! Bartender/wait staff went above and beyond. Got back for late check in after the hornets game and we’re able to eat dinner. Food was excellent and prices were great! Breakfast was excellent. Thank you and Merry Christmas

The front desk, think his name was Michael needs training. When I walked in he did speak but said "last name". Good customer service is hard to come by. The rooms are dated and definitely do not look like the bright pics online. I didn't stay that night. I chose to drive 3 hrs back home.

Unexpected stay due to missing American Airlines flight back to Grand Rapids. Called hotel for free shuttle and check in was extremely easy. Even though getting late, we were looking for food and and front desk and lounge attendant Coco was very accommodating. Room was very nice and had lots of extra room. Morning breakfast had many choices, all fresh. Return to airport by shuttle on time. Great stay. Will return of ever stuck in Charlotte again.

As is the usual with Hyatt, they never fail to deliver top quality service. This location was no exception. The staff was outstanding, making me feel welcome, the location made it easy to get around, and the entire process was super nice and relaxed. Thanks again for an awesome stay, be seeing you again soon!

The hotel room was clean and it was quiet in the hotel. Our floor smelled of weed so obviously no one paid attention to the non smoking signs. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area was clean.

Literally the worst Hyatt brand property I’ve encountered. The rooms are musty and the amenities are spotty at best. The first time we stayed, the pool was closed. Then, we paid for parking and did the airport shuttle. It was also “unavailable” when we returned from our trip (it was at 7:30 pm so definitely within the listed hours). We were standing at the airport and had to order 3 Ubers to get back to our car at the hotel. Before staying this year, we confirmed the shuttle is well staffed. But, now we check in and of course the pool is closed, and you aren’t allowed to swim at the Hyatt Place next door. Really. Stay elsewhere.

This place is about 10 min from the airport. The airline accommodated a mishap and Hyatt is where I ended up. Although disappointed Elisa made my stay very comfortable. I didnt need a car due to tons of options in walking distance. They also serve a very good spread of breakfast. There is shuttle transportation to the airport provided. A bar within the hotel, nothing too crazy just somewhere to decompress. The rooms were very clean and comfortable

We have had such a hard time trying to get home because of our airline and this hotel has helped so much. A great breakfast comfortable rooms, awesome service, and a bar. Everything two parents stuck for 2 days with a teething toddler need. Highly recommend.

I read some of the reviews and was worried about the negative nature of a lot of them however, I had an extremely good experience. It was some of the other guests that left a lot to be desired. Sure the rooms showed a little wear and tear but the staff was excellent. Sheryl checked us and and was GREAT and gave us restaurant recommendations. She got us signed up for the 5 am shuttle in the morning and we were the first people on the shuttle list. The morning desk agent and shuttle driver were also great. However some other guests jumped on the shuttle after being told there would not be room for them and refused to get off. So, there wasn’t enough room for our entire party and some of us had to take an Uber. The staff was apologetic. My only suggestion would be to have the list and confirm before letting anyone on the shuttle. It wasn’t a huge issue and it was really the other guests that were the problem. Additionally, due to a mix up on our end with the Lake Point Location, one of our wallets was left on the other hotel’s shuttle. They were kind enough to bring it to us at the airport in the morning. All in all, the staff was the best part of our staff and the room, while not new, was very nice!
