My only complaint about this hotel is that I don’t get to stay longer. My business trip ends on Friday. The staff, the bistro, the courtyard, the location, the room, the amenities, free WiFi, television in the room, beds, bedding, pillows, towels, wash clothes, hand towels, provided body wash, shampoo and conditioner are all fantastic! The Bistro serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend the Bistro burger and fries. It’s fantastic for the price. The bar is also well stocked and you get great well made drinks. They have a phenomenal snack and supply room for anything you may have forgotten or want to munch on while you’re staying here. A few minor and small things like basic medications and other things and then a massive assortment of snacks and both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks make the supply/snack room stand out majorly from other hotels I’ve been to. This hotel is fantastic for business trips, the outdoor pool and sitting areas are relaxing and quiet. The gym is well equipped and you won’t skip a beat in your weekly workout routines. The lobby is classy and well put together and a great place to get some work done if need be. The prices are fantastic too. Overall, I’d stay here again. I may just drive up to this area and stay here to get away on my next vacation since this is just a business trip. I don’t want to go home! This hotel is luxurious and well put together. I’m surprised to know it’s only a 3 star hotel. I’d expect it to be a 4.

The lobby was very nice. The hallways, stairwells and elevators however looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks and weren’t vacuumed for the duration of our stay. It was gross. The room AC worked great however the hallways were terribly warm. The front desk staff was not friendly. A smile goes a long way. The beds were comfortable however the stains on the corner of the one mattress were not appealing. Balcony could have been enjoyed more with two chairs and even a small table. Only one chair provided. Two of us showered and we were already out of body wash-that should have been filled prior to our arrival. Pool area had nice chairs and water was refreshing. Although the pool towels were very thin and small-the bath towels were much nicer. It worked for a quick two night stay as it was close to our destination but would not return if in the area again.

Our airline had to put us up due to a layover. The only problem was our layover was for 5 hours than back up and to the airport for our flight at 7:15 . So, from what I can tell, it looked great. The bed was nice and the room was cute. It's been a while since I've stayed at one, but them seem to have a nice upgrade to their appearance. Good job.

Great parking options depending on where your room is. The in-house Starbucks is expensive; $6 for a cookie. Easy check in and check out process for Gold status.

We got stuck overnight after missed connections for our flight. The staff was super friendly and it was the fastest hotel check in I’ve ever had. The fast check in was particularly wonderful after an entire day of travel. The room is really cute too.

Old place, remodeled to be be pretty nice. Menu for tiny restaurant/ bar is cholesterol high, and severely limited. Great location, good rooms, great vibe! Need better food, but a good spot to stay, if you eat elsewhere.

The hotel was undergoing an exterior renovation or painting. It definitely is trying to upgrade itself. The room was clean. It is a big hotel and kind of confusing. But not in a bad neighborhood or a bad hotel.

Slow snippy front desk clerks. Shocked for being in the south. They take forever to do anything and no smiles or any personality for that matter. Rooms have bare minimal and no toiletries were left for us. I'm shocked it wasn't a better experience. Won't be back...sorry

The worst customer service ever. We waited, waited, and waited for breakfast while one of the employees sat there on her computer doing nothing. She knew us and another individual were standing there waiting and she did nothing about it. Then, when another staff member finally came out and asked us what we would like, she yelled at me and said she could only do one thing at a time and gave a serious attitude. Why did you ask what we wanted then?? Then, my child ran around the corner to get some water (of which they did not have any restocked cups...although an employee was sitting right there - why put water out if you’re not going to keep up on restocking cups???), he drank directly from the spigot (this happened within a matter of seconds - he is a toddler). The employee who was just sitting there then finally got up and came over to yell at me and said to “watch my kids.” Where was she when we were standing there forever wait for food? Or, if she saw my child trying to get water, why didn’t she come over and tell him she would go get him a cup?? There are so many better ways to handle that situation. My toddler did not know better and instead of berating/yelling at me to “watch my children,” she could have simply informed me, apologized for the lack of cups, and given us some. Instead, she took the entire dispenser away, glared at me, and again told me to watch my children. When I spoke to the manager, he was extremely dismissive, seemed annoyed at my feedback/situation, kept interrupting/talking over me while I was trying to calmly explain, and told him my child should not be drinking from the spigot. Yes I know this!!! Did he think I wanted him to do that?? It’s disgusting and a concern for his health - It was an accident by a child!!!! The manager was highly unprofessional and rude. Avoid this hotel if you can - the worst customer service and awful experience. I would hope this manager and staff would learn from an experience like this, but it seems they are more interested in blaming the customer.

The shower handle fell off more than once when my nine-year-old daughter was taking a shower. There were cracks in the floor in more than one place because it seems as though it had fell off previously. Thankfully it did not hit her feet. Can you imagine the amount of damage that would cause if it hit a little girl's toes? The porch had not been swept in a very long time. It also was in dire need of repainting. It had no chairs or a little table for the balcony. I called down to the front desk and asked for a couple of chairs and a table and they said okay but they only sent two chairs. The chairs were dirty so I had to wipe them off with a Lysol wipe. There was no microwave in the room, but a communal microwave down the hall. There was also no free breakfast or coffee available in the lobby, but coffee for purchase at Starbucks. The towel racks in the shower were broken. The one was missing the rack all together and the other one was loose. I had to tighten them so that they wouldn't fall down or get damaged. They did offer turn down service which was nice. They brought us extra pillows, towels, and washcloths. They also restocked the coffee area. The room and the bathroom were clean. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. When I checked in they did not explain my charges or tell me how much I was being charged. I saw on my credit card statement online that they had charged me over $100 more than stated on the original bill. So, I had to go downstairs and ask about it. They explained that it was just an extra charge for incidentals and that I would be reimbursed at the end of my trip. The TV was a smart TV that allowed us to log into YouTube and Amazon Prime.

WoW….. Courtyards are not what they used to be. The desk clerk lady at night was very unfriendly and seems to be bother every time we asked something, she was sitting on a table with the heater watching tv. The cafeteria was empty and didn’t look like the have any food or anything ready to grab and go. No coffee or water in the lobby. The morning clerk was nicer That the one from previous nite. She was playing with her phone and I asked her to call a taxi, she did it but like she said only because my English wasn’t great! … Thank you for the complement!’ I will not choose again a Courtyard by Marriott. Those days were employees were anticipating the customers need are gone Will not recommend this hotel. Employees need to be retrain! For goodness sake you are in Hospitality

Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. I'd prefer for the toilet to be in a different section than the shower so that if someone's in the shower, another person can use the toilet. Didn't try the breakfast options, but they looked reasonable with fresh fruit. Not sure what else they had. Beautiful courtyard with a flaming pit & a few beautiful crape myrtle trees. Ice machine available on 2nd floor & fridge in room. I don't use hotels much & thought it was a little pricey, but it was what we needed & since it was business related it wasn't that great a factor in choosing. If I had to go to Charlotte again, I'd keep it in mind.

Stayed here with my family and parents during a trip to Carowinds. In short, it was what we were looking for. Clean and comfortable, and convenient to the park. Also convenient to area restaurants. As with most hotels these days, a pretty bare bones operation, but it was just what we needed for our stay.

Hotel usually won't have breakfast set up if there isn't enough patrons staying. They do offer free coffee and have a section by the front desk where you can get frozen dinners and snacks. Room seemed clean, there are only 3 floors in this location. Did not stay long enough to notice a microwave or fridge. Front desk was friendly no issues there.

We had to go to the hotel because of our airline delay and the airline had double booked us for another hotel and they ended up sending us to this hotel. I was very satisfied with our stay. The lady at the desk was nice and understood our frustration and got us in quickly It was clean updated and we had a balcony 😁 If we are ever back in Charlotte I will definitely be staying here.

My husband and I stayed in one room and our cousin stayed in the room next door. Upon arrival, we noticed that the sheets on me and my husband's bed had stains on it and called to have them changed. We went to our cousin's room while this was being taken care of, and she discovered hair on the sheets on her bed. She too, requested to have her sheets changed and also discovered that her balcony had never been swept. Once my husband and I returned to our room, we discovered that the balcony hadn't been swept either, and there were no chairs for us to sit in. The ottoman in front of the couch was covered in dog hair, and the shower had hair on the wall. We went to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager, stating that we have a complaint, and the employee answered "How can I help you"? Never confirming or denying if he was indeed the manager. We told him what our issues were and he responded, telling us he would add 5,000 points on the honors club, which would apply to our cousin, who booked both rooms. This is totally unacceptable, and we will never book a room at this location again. Every one of our issues was an easy fix and should have been done long before our arrival. Extremely disappointed and angry.

I never write reviews because I hate them and people who review businesses are generally needy and attention seeking BUT I HAVE TO SAY the woman who works the bar and cafe in this hotel is a superwoman. She rocks. She is amazing. I mean it’s fantastic that there’s even a hotel bar here and affordable. Great drinks. Great food. And she does it all herself. The hotel is also really nice for what it is. The airline that messed up my flight put me here but it’s awesome. Probably the best bar in the neighborhood and I have a full couch in my really nice and clean room. Love it. Please give a raise to the woman working the cafe. She is just killing it.

Only got to spend a few hours here, courtesy of American Airlines screwing up our flight connection, but it was very nice! Comfortable bed, great shower, friendly staff

I was stranded in Charlotte due to a missed connection flight. After long lines and late night at the airport a bed was desperately needed. The airline booked the hotel and they were waiting for us when we arrived check in was quick and easy the room was clean and nice.

when I first was checking in on 02/06/2022 the front doors was LOCKED, ring the bell called the hotel stood out for literally 10mins until someone came to let me in. This property is super old and it need to be upgrade. Could hear noise thru out my stay bumping on the walls and all, stomping. The stay was very dry and unwelcoming DEFINITELY NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UPGRADES. Wouldn’t never stay here again due to the age and the quality of the aged property you can literally hear everything. Beware you wouldn’t be able to get a peace of mind if you stay there.

I will never stay in this hotel ever again and you never say never but if I can help it, I WON'T. There were too many issues going on during my stay. Besides the hotel being ok and the issues made it (just ok) 1 star. First, the cable service was horrible and couldn't really watch TV until that was fixed, no microwave in the rooms, you have to keep going back n forth to a small section in the hallway where it's located by the ice machine to warm your food, after 1am one late night, someone was banging on the room doors then running away like ( who does that), then later on, someone pulled the fire alarm so everyone had to evacuate. No form of security measures, but security officers which I didn't see. I did not feel safe staying there and couldn't wait to leave, each time I went to the microwave, I was very very weary and uncomfortable. I don't know what kind of security services are done with the hotel but I do know hourly vertical rounds are supposed to be done. This hotel better up they game up and get some security cameras to protect the guests and their property. You guys charge too much for these issues to be going on, oh and no free breakfast. Too much things is happening and to stay in a hotel when you don't feel safe is a big no no for me.

Disappointing experience. Returned from dinner to have a night cap at the bar, as did about another dozen guests. Unfortunately, one poor employee was tasked with not only serving all of the drinks but also fulfilling all the food orders. While she is busting her tail to help everyone, there were three employees at the registration desk doing absolutely NOTHING but joking and having a good time. No one checking in, one or two phone calls, otherwise nothing but a good time at the reservation desk while the employee and customers in the bar are all frustrated. Very poorly managed. Not only lost revenue from the bar, but also lost revenue from stays as we will be looking for better managed locations for our next stay next month…

Excellent modest facility that offers clean rooms, a kind staff, and very close to the highway and local businesses. The room provided was fresh and clean with updated furnishings and a recent bathroom remodel. I liked the on-site convenience store which is available 24x7, even as the dining experience has scaled back to a more modest post-COVID offering.
