We stayed at this location for a baseball tournament. We picked this location for convenience and that it had an indoor pool and commercial laundry room to wash baseball uniforms. Upon arrival we found the pool to be drained and closed and the laundry room was out of order.. the rooms were nice but he mattress were trash. Would have never stayed here if they had advertised that half the ammenties were closed.... stay somewhere else.

Rough start even worse ending. Staff was unaccommodating to say the least. Four days in a row I returned to a sparkling clean room without ever requesting service. The fifth day I got off work early and was in the room when the maid came so I left to allow her space to perform her duties. That time the room was only halfway clean and half the usual towels were in the bathroom. On the sixth day she did not even bother stopping by, the front desk tried to tell me cleaning was only by request when I Never once requested that woman come into my room. It was all good until the maid saw I was Black, she never came back. Also television is from 1999, no Netflix or any other capabilities, basic cable only. We were placed in the last room at the end of a horribly long hallway and given a single bed instead of doubles, and for some reason our keys were deactivated after each use. Lobby full of drunken people. Plenty of parking, quiet rooms, and they fixed whatever was wrong with the pool by day three. Passive aggressive racism.

This Marriott property was just up the road from where I needed to be so location was excellent plus I got my Marriott points and status perks along with it. There are many nice restaurants close to this location and I even had to pick up a prescription so the Walgreens down the street was great as well The staff were very attentive and generous. This hotels checks off all the boxes and may I also add that the beds slept amazingly well which is becoming harder to find for some reason I will stay here again for business

Great business hotel in a good location. Rooms are cleaned every other day and they are spacious and nice. Everything worked perfectly. It's also nice to have as many tv channels as they do. I don't know exactly how many were there, but all my favorites were available.

Very friendly and helpful front desk lady who was bilingual (Spanish /English). Rooms were clean every time we visited and we’ve stayed here atleast 10times in the last year or so. The breakfast spread is ok for the most part (very typical) and plenty of space to sit and eat. The breakfast service staff though seem to need some training. One of the newer members of staff (lady in a large frame with glasses) likes to give guests this stare when they are getting coffee. I nodded and said “Good morning “ every time I noticed her staring at me but she just kept staring (very rude). On one occasion I said to her that the coffee pot was empty and she just turned away and went inside. That’s it. 30mins later there was still no coffee. When I saw the other lady I asked her and she quickly filled it up and I was thankful. The states kept happening every time one of us went up to the stations at breakfast time. Note to Sree Hotels management: please, please, please train your new staff to avoid such interactions with guests.

. I am compelled to share my recent experience with Marriott, specifically at the SpringHill Suites Charlotte Ballantyne, and unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. Regrettably, my interactions with both the telephone staff and on-site team were the worst I have ever encountered. Despite my attempts to address the issues with the hotel’s manager, Rikev Patel, and the Elite Experience Manager, Greg, there was a noticeable lack of concern and effort to rectify the situation. The customer service provided fell significantly below expectations, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied. This distressing encounter has led me to discontinue any future business with Marriott. Moving forward, I have chosen to exclusively use Hilton for my accommodation needs. I believe it is crucial for Marriott to be aware of the subpar service and customer care that I, as a patron, have experienced. I hope that steps will be taken to improve these aspects of your business, ensuring a more positive and customer-oriented approach.

As a platimum member both front desk agents lacked customer service and were rude. I had thoughts of leaving based on that, however my wife and i stayed due to it being late and wanting to relax from feeling exhausted. The mattress and pillows was worn down and out, a bug on the wall, the room had a smell as if it needed to be aired out, the heat blew out cold air all night making me feel sick with a snuffy nose, the toilet was not flushing properly. When I informed the front desk agent about this, their reply was at the moment they were busy and someone will get back with me. No one has communicated with me and it has been over 48 hours. I will definitely not recommend or stay at this location again until changes are made.

Terrible Marriot Property...The less I write about the better. Overall: For the starters....I and My wife stayed there for 3 nights July28-31st(Room booked under her name). They just had AC on in the main lobby that's it ..they stopped AC in all the other common areas on all other floors. Service: My wife being a gold Elite member, asked for towels via Marriot Bonvoy App on the second day. And no one bothered to reply back or service it. Breakfast: TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE...They had frozen breakfast sandwiches(which we need to microwave) on Friday. They said they have "hot breakfast" on the weekend....oh well.. they had cheese omelet and breakfast sandwich's(I'm sure they were frozen and microwaved and or oven heated. Tasted so bad. Then they had few fruits and some muffins/etc. One of the worst breakfast selection I ever had in a Marriot property. Bad Property management, Please select some other Hotel....you will be happy .

Clean, comfortable hotel overall. The configuration of the room with the separate shower and toilet areas was great for multiple people. The fan in our room was incredibly loud, even on low, and that made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. There didn’t seem to be AC in the halls or elevators, making them very uncomfortable. The breakfast was decent.

A very nice hotel with a great location. This was my first of what will be many visits due to the proximity to our new office. The staff was courteous and helpful though a couple of minor issues. Their service kept this a 5 star review.

Bathrooms have np locks and slide so there is no sound proof or privacy. The Bathrooms also have those weird kinda see through doors and when asked to switch our room to one with locks witch the front desk said they should have we just got another room with no locks I would not go here if your sharing rooms with some one and want some privacy to atleast shower and use the bathroom.

Rooms were clean and well taken care of. One minor complaint was the strange TV placement which is awkwardly offset from the bed but it's not that big of a deal.

The room seemed clean but there was a cockroach in it. Went to alert the staff with my room phone but it wasn’t working. Went to the front desk to tell them and I was told “we don’t have anyone to deal with that.” No silverware or dishes in the kitchenettes. It is very close to lots of good restaurants (within walking distance)

The shower above our room poured into our room shower through the light fixture. The hotel was notified and did nothing. The smell was intense. We were unable to take a shower during our visit. We were told that there were no other rooms available.

The best thing about this hotel is the manager Allison and the front desk person Ramona. They know everything , handle everything and can direct you to all things you need at the hotel. They will make this home during your stay.

I have been getting the run around about my refund. I checked in a room and immediately came back out once there was a bug spotted in room. I been calling for about a week and half and there's no manager that I can speak with it always they are unavailable or not here. The manger i spoke with last week stated that he will refund my money and call back if I didn't see it. A week later nothing and can't get no manger on phone or my money back that I paid for and didnt stay at property. This is a unprofessional property.

Stayed at the Springhill Suites during the Thanksgiving holiday. The room had quite a few lady bugs. Not sure where they came from, but there was about 7 lady bugs in our room during our 2 night stay. The bed was like sleeping on bricks. Housekeeping came to clean our room, we asked if she could come back because we were leaving the room in 5 mins. She said okay, but never returned. Location is great, that's about it.

Did not actually stay. I made reservations through my Bonvoy app for me and my family. a few days prior to our arrival my wife passed so we of course cancelled the trip. I cancelled the hotel through my bonvoy app since I made the reservation that way. Yet a few days later I see the charges on my card. After calling bonvoy and my CC company they said that due to the circumstances it should be easy for the Mgr/GM to just cancel the charge. I called for 2 days straight leaving not only a vm for the GM but a written note as well from the front desk to the Mgr. Still no call so I decided to call again and make sure I spoke with someone. After finally reaching the person they said was the MGR. He told me he couldn't do anything about it because "he couldn't see where it was cancelled". So now on top of everything else that goes along with losing and burying a loved one I am also out the money for a room we never got to even see. All I can say is wow. Great job SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte Ballantyne. Way to show not only your bonvoy members but people in general that you care. I really wish I could give negative stars.

Weird layout, pull out was uncomfortable as anything. I resorted to sleeping on just the couch which wasn't much better. TV is a bit dated.(plasma screen) Otherwise I had a good time.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The front desk staff are amazing, and really professional and nice. Everything was clean and the suite was very spacious and clean nothing was out of place. I will definitely stay here every visit and recommend this hotel to others. Sadly we were only there for 2 nights but those 2 nights were the best. Thanks again Springhill Suites by Marriott

Great location and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Loved the room configuration and all hotel areas were very clean. Kids disappointed no waffle maker at breakfast. Was told, “waiting for a part.” Kids look forward to making their own waffle. Maybe just buy a new one? Also TV in rooms had cable but had no ability to use the guide on the TV to select channels. We were given 4 pages of channels that had to be entered manually. Both our reserved room had the same 1970’s remote control. It was frustrating. I would still come back to this hotel…

The staff was nice, informative, & communicative. There was a slight issue but it was resolved quickly. The room was clean & up to date. I would recommend this location for locals & out of town folks. Keep up the great work!

A NIGHTMARE! The experience we had was like an untamed Zoo. We stayed at this hotel this past weekend and on Saturday there were a large group of Lacrosse Boys that behaved so horribly and disrespected the guests so badly, to the point we left the hotel at 9:30pm. The boys were running all through the hallways on each floor and knocking on guests doors, then running down the stairwell. They knocked on our door several times and would run down the stairwell. They were hitting all the elevator buttons for each floor and holding up the elevators as well. We went to the front desk to make a complaint and the front desk attendant, along with the security guard stated they have been dealing with these Issues from the boys all day and can’t get them under control. Even while I speaking to the staff attendant the boys were running through the halls, knocking things over and bumping into the guest with no apology. At that point we asked for our money back and left the hotel. The front desk attendant wasn’t apologetic at all for our inconvenience and seemed insensitive to our experience. We couldn’t believe the hotel would allow this kind of disruptive behavior, especially towards their guests. The experience at this hotel was horrific. We will never stay at this hotel again or recommend anyone else.

Toilet ran at random times, AC was loud, TV had line in it, walls are thin and can hear a lot. Was told wrong time for breakfast, lady at desk was more bothered by phone and not very friendly when checking in. Music was so loud at indoor pool I couldn't hear my husband next to me. Lots of food and things to do close by. Rooms were nice and clean and beds comfy.

I would not recommend staying here if hygiene is important to you. The walls and night stands were full of boogers the toilet did not work the entire night of our stay. The extra blankets in the closet smelled horrible. Over all not a clean environment.. breakfast was great the location is great. The staff is not very helpful/sympathetic to any of our comments or complaints.
