    I was RACIALLY PROFILED HERE!!! I was followed OUTSIDE of the lobby after getting breakfast NEAR my car and asked if I had a room there and what was my room number. - I replied with my room number. I went back inside the front desk area to throw away my trash as I ate my breakfast in the car and did not see a trash can outside, while at the trash can I was stopped and questioned again if I had a room there and for my name. - I replied with my name and room number, I then asked the front desk person questioning me for her name- she would not tell me her name and demanded that I tell her my name and stated that I did not have a room there. ...Keep in mind this is all front of witness in the lobby and at the desk. This was in the 8-9 o'clock hours of the morning and I had checked in at nearly midnight the night before - so as a Diamond member who uses Hilton very frequently as a travel doctor - me paying nearly $230 bucks for this room for only a few hours and to be treated like this was ridiculous! -I offered to step aside and wait for other customers behind me to handle their affairs with the front desk employee because I did not want to make a scene at all and her tone was so elevated that it was drawing negative attention - (I will put her name here once I find it on my sticky note). - After she finishes with the other customer--- I express to her that I wanted her managers contact information - she would not give it and then I told her that I felt like she profiled me. -She denied this and stated that since she is latina and she has a black boyfriend that she is "exempt" from profiling a black person. -I did not argue with her at all but told her that that is not logical and that she followed no one else outside the hotel and questioned them multiple times about having a room there except for myself and that has never happened to me before. - She then gets on the computer again and tells me that she is able to see my room and m name and that it was listed in "Departures" and that is why it wasn't visible to her in the regular screen and she then apologizes (ever so quietly)- I am sure no one heard that. - So, I again requested her manager's information again, and she then asks why I wanted it after she apologized and I told her because I was dissatisfied with my experience. - She then states to me that I "attacked her when I came in the lobby" -I then stated to her, that this is the same issue, you (as in she) cannot use words like attack when someone stands up for themselves because words like attack implies different things for different people who may be listening in the environment and that it didn't even make sense to me considering that she approached me and questioned me about my room outside and again at the trash can. -She then states that she is an immigrant and that me saying that she profiled me was wrong and that she is sorry that I my life is so bad that I feel this way. - I remain firm and tell her that I just want her manager's information because she is the only person yelling and calling me an attacker. -She then writes down a first name of the manager, I ask for a last name and number- - She tells me I can look up the number and that she doesn't know the manager's last name. - I told her that I would like her to provide me with the number -she does - Then I go and ask the ladies in the breakfast area for the manager's last name. - They provide his last name - I leave and go back to my room and call Diamond club. -I am told that I NEVER should have been followed outside and that I never should have been treated like someone faking a stay after I gave my name because the front desk person should know to check departures as well when verifying residence. - I get a call from a female manager who offers to refund $14 and change from canteen. - I ask for room refund -manager even admitted that the front desk worker was absolutely wrong for following me outside! - put on hold then offered 50% refund. - I ask for a full refund and was told someone would call me - NO CALL RETURNED - It has been 3 weeks

    Great hotel...The customer service was A1. The rooms were big and clean. The front desk clerk noticed my son was with me so advised there was a basketball court out back. Breakfast was great as well. If you are looking for a hotel in the area this is a great one.

    I stayed here 09/2022. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was descent, and customer service was good. However, I checked out on a Monday and that night I discovered tiny bumps all around my ankles. I don't THINK it was bed bugs. However, I did see these very very tiny black bugs on the table and couch. I even saw 2 on my foot. I told the front desk about it, but they didn't seem to concerned. She said she would tell maintenance but nobody came while I was there. A few days later, I find out that the other person in the room with me got the same tiny bites that look like pimples. Also, another person in the room next door got small bites too. I think the bites may be chiggers or fleas or something. If you sit on the couch be sure to lay a white blanket down so you can see anything crawling!

    Traveling with two adults and four kids, I booked our stay in advance and confirmed our stay with mobile check-in the day prior. I booked and confirmed connected rooms (105&107), but upon check-in to the property, was told that 1 of the 2 rooms that I reserved was given away. There was a debate on whether I would be charged a cancellation fee for the room that was given away even though this was no fault of my own. Was offered a second room on the 4th floor. My kids are under the age of 12 and they wanted to separate us by three floors. When I requested that they make it right, was told that they were sorry and there was nothing they could do. I called corporate to voice my grief, and I was told that someone from property management would contact me, but that never happened. My family of 6 stayed in a two queen bedroom, where I ultimately had to sleep on the floor. Worst hotel experience since being a hhonors member since 2006, Gold status. As a United States Marine, I have slept in far worse conditions, but not in instances in which I was a paying customer.

    The building itself is very nice. Although the service on the front end was good every time, I have a problem whenever I walk into the building and no one is there or I have to wait or I have to leave altogether. I never got any ice while there because the ice machine wasn't working. The rooms are very nice and different from what you might normally get from a hotel. I loved walking into my room with the television greeting me by name--nice touch! The worst thing for me was the fact that my bed smelled of other people! The sheets are clean, but the top blanket smelled nasty. Hotels need to return to washing linens everytime guests have departed. This is unacceptable and is a deal-breaker. The breakfast bar was simple but good. The hotel price was good, also. On the whole, I liked the place, but there are things that could/must be improved.

    I thoroughly enjoy my stay at Homewood Suites. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the rooms are clean and spacious. They offer breakfast in the morning from 6:30- 9:30 am and have a 24 hour laundry and fitness center.

    Absolutely amazing stay! We came up for a weekend and it was the most restful night's sleep. We were immediately provided extra towels when requested. The breakfast selections were delicious. So I forgot my wedding ring in the room and didn't realize I didn't have it until we had made it home 4 hours later. I called in the morning and the receptionist I spoke with stated she would ask the head of housekeeping. I got a call about 2 hours later and they found my ring! They could have easily kept it but they didn't and I absolutely appreciate that. It's hard to find honest people this day and age but I can say there are honest folks at this amazing hotel! If we ever come to Charlotte again, this is the only place we're staying!

    Very nice hotel and rooms. The breakfast was okay (eggs were terrible). Very convenient location. If you stay try and get a second floor room. There is zero sound dampening between the first and second floor. We heard constant noise from the room upstairs until late in the evening. There were several people from our family staying here, so moving our room was not an option for us. The staff was professional and helpful.

    Great spacious rooms, clean and King suite is very pleasant. Breakfast was great and loved the digital check in. Front desk staff was amazing and helpful for nearby restaurants! Will be returning. I loved everything

    The manager on duty was so helpful gave us plenty of towels. The room was stocked was it so open shampoo conditioner. Incredible stay the cleanest 100% clean rating by North Carolina sanitation. We could not ask for a better hospitality five star across-the-board

    Room was very clean and had good amenities. Team members very friendly. Lobby and pool area very nice. I liked the "Beer Bar" - you get 12 seconds once you tap your $10 card to fill a cup with either beer or wine. I got a full Solo cup of wine in that 12 seconds. Breakfast is a little boring -the usual stuff, nothing special. Very good location - walking distance to several restaurants and shops, close to highway. Will definitely stay here again for my next business trip.

    Our family stayed here for a week and we were very happy with everything. Especially the service staff here are very kind and professional. Ysabel from the breakfast department treat us like family. We just arrived in the US from Spain and she served us warmly in Spanish and English. If you come to Charlotte, Highly recommend this hotel .

    Loved it here! Enjoyed having a kitchen and a lot of space during my stay… the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff members were polite and helpful overall. The front desk rep there on weeknights gave me great food recommendations (my fave was Viva Chicken, only a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel). There were plenty of restaurants in the area outside of the hotel, and despite many rooms being occupied, the overall tone was fairly peaceful/quiet. Breakfast was the normal Hilton affair, and (though I didn’t use it) they also had a decent outdoor pool and basketball court. Overall, this was a great place to stay.

    Beautiful hotel and location were great. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our room was lovely. I loved the high ceilings. Overall the room was clean, but I noticed a lot of hair in the carpet throughout the room. The ice machine was out on the first floor so I had to go up to the second floor. That was a slight inconvenience. The pool and grill area were nice and clean. Grill accessories are at the front desk if you need them as well as a basketball for the sports court. First time I have see a hotel with a basketball court. Not regulation but big enough to shoot around. I would revisit this hotel because of my overall experience and price.

    This hotel was excellent! I will be checking out this morning after staying for a rough 10 day stay while my mom was at Atrium Health Pineville getting open heart surgery. The staff at Homewood Suites made my stay infinitely easier than it would have been as they were so nice, made sure I had everything I needed, and even asked about my mom every day. The food was excellent and the hotel was great! I would like to particularly give thanks to Celeste, Tyler, and Vivian for how great they were to me. They were excellent and I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the area.

    I had a very nice day at this hotel. I decided to try something different for a change. And I'm really glad I did. The breakfast is first-rate compared to other hotels of have stayed in the rooms, a nice and clean. The staff is very nice . The parking lot is will lit. Very close to restaurants. Walking distance to the exact? No more than a 100 yd.

    Very poor customer service, very poor management, over charges, front desk tells you one thing and manager doesn’t follow through. Also, room wasn’t clean and Air wasn’t very cold. Find another place to stay with better customer service

    The front desk did not disclose pet fees even when asked about a pet fee. After I left they charged a seperate fee of 55 without any explanation. I called and they said it was disclosed on website. Not acceptable, they should disclose this information up front. Will never stay at a Hilton again. They are sneaky and dishonest

    I’ve stayed at five different hotels in this area of Charlotte and this is by far the best. Comparable price, no charge for parking, free (excellent) breakfast cooked up by Isabella and her team. The Fitness Center needs some work getting broken treadmills fixed but a great stay otherwise.

    Absolutely horrible place. We had reservations for adjoining rooms (you know the one they have commercials about making fun of other hotels?). What do you know - not available. We have children and the sole purpose for booking this hotel was because of the guaranteed adjoining room. What is their solution? Oh, here’s a room down the hall. That’s it. How about a manager? Oh no, the manager isn’t in today. So if you are booking this place with the intention of sharing adjoining rooms then don’t. Because even a guarantee means nothing. But don’t try to cancel your reservation because that’s against the policy! So, they screw you both ways.

    Clean rooms, nice amenities, great staff. Tyler in particular was great during our check in. Smiled, friendly attitude. Would definitely stay here again.

    Great location and nice studio suite. I was unable to enjoy my stay because the person above me was loud the entire evening and early morning. The one front desk employee was working alone handling the front desk and a large wedding party. At check-in, I was standing at the front desk for a long time because he was assisting the party. He was amazing but unable to handle everything. Management should definitely have more than one person working the front desk when hosting large events and on holiday weekends. The amazing employee was not able to handle the front desk to answer my phone calls to report the noise complaints because he was being pulled in multiple directions. I decided to call the district manager to let her know what I experienced, she still has not returned my call which shows how much she cares about complaints and her employees.

    We were in town as I was on a business trip and we stayed here for 2 weeks and we had nothing but a great stay from beginning to end. The place is located in a really nice area with plenty of grocery stores and nice restaurants a short distance from the property. It is well lit with plenty of parking and the rooms were nice and comfortable. You can't beat having a full size fridge, microwave and cook top so you don't have to go out to eat all the time. The front desk staff was really friendly and accommodating any time that we needed anything. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again should we be back in the Charlotte area.

    I come here pretty often for work. For some reason every time I am here, I sleep so well. It never fails! The rooms are big. The gym is always empty. They have a good free breakfast in the morning. And they let us use a meeting room for free! You can walk to restaurants.
