The staff is AMAZING!!! I love it when I walked in and there was a cute dog at the front desk(kilo) but I don’t see him anymore and I want to see him everyday that I am there he is a great addition to the hotel it makes it feel like home because I don’t have my furry family with me. The hotel staff is so nice and friendly and feels like a family when I come down to the lobby. When you see the home2 suits staff you see your family

From the first time I called to the minute I stepped off the shuttle back at the airport I received nothing but the best customer service. Brittney and Ella were very accommodating to my midday layover needs and I was able to pay for a room to work out of for “day use”. I didn’t even know this was a thing. The breakfast was incredible…I had a fresh made waffle with fresh (NOT frozen) berries on top. The room was so big and clean with a perfect work desk. If you are in Charlotte and need to stay by the airport THIS is THE PLACE!!!

My airline put me here when I’m in training for two weeks. Pro: Hotel is very nice. And black ladies that works at the lobby they are wonderful and great people. Good coffee and hot tea…. Thank you for that Cons : the skinny Indian guy who work at the lobby need to find an other job, he is disgraceful to his job. Always in his phone.

Very pet friendly however I did not witness or hear any fur babies! Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I booked when I landed in Charlotte and paid $149/ni. They have an airport shuttle. When you arrive, follow signs to Hotels in Zone 1. You need to call the hotel for pickup which arrives within about 5 minutes. The van is white and green labeled for Holiday Inn and Home2. When you arrive at the hotel, be sure to schedule your shuttle time back to the airport which runs on the hour and half hour. Expect that it takes at most 10 minutes commute between hotel and airport. This location also does park and fly. The hotel offers free breakfast with waffles, egg sandwiches, bakery items, cereal, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt. The room was spacious with a living room and ALL amenities for a long yet comfortable stay including microwave, large fridge, stove top, dishes, sink and dishwasher. The only downfall was you could hear the incoming and outgoing planes a bit however can easily be drown out over a TV or music. Plane noise settled/stopped around 10pm and was not woken through the night because of it.

The person who checked me in was excellent. But when I checked out, they had a bad attitude. They were not as welcoming. I didn't have any issues with my room or trouble paying. I wonder if they just had a rough morning. Like maybe they heard bad news coming into work. So I'll change my 3-star fo service to 4 stars.

If I could give zero starts for customer service I would. I booked through a third party and cancelled within minutes of making my reservation. I was instructed to reach out to the property as it was 11:30pm and cancellation policy was until midnight. I spoke with Nicole who was very professional and friendly who cancelled my reservation and informed me I would receive my refund without issue. One week later I had not received my refund. I reached out to third party who informs me they would email property again and I called the property myself. They told me Ella the manager was not available and to email her. I sent an email to which she responded the cancellation policy did not apply since it was a third party and that her “Our hotel staff does not know the details of reservations that were not booked through us, if this were a Hilton reservation different cancellation policies apply.” I informed her I cancelled after her staff told me I would receive a refund and that I would address with the bank. Her response “If you want to blame my staff because you didn't reach out to the people that you booked with and apparently believe that the front desk person at our (or any) hotel would know the terms of a reservation that you booked with someone else, that's fine. Our reviews and reputation speak for itself. Please be sure to send your bank a copy of the terms of the reservation that you made - they will contact us and booking to see the cancellation policy you agreed to when making your reservation.” Again I reached out to all parties involved prior to making my cancellation and the third party emailed them. I travel frequently for work and have never encountered such lack of professionalism. Beware.

perfect spot for us to rest rather than being stranded at the airport following a flight cancellation! worth noting rooms are well stocked with a kitchenette so you really could make this place work for you to live out of for a few days! beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and staff was friendly and efficient. they have a 24/7 shuttle that leaves on the hour & half hour to the airport as well and the drive is only about 5 minutes. very solid airport hotel option

I had a quick turnaround in Charlotte and this hotel far exceeded any of my previous Hilton stays there. The staff was welcoming and inviting, and the two ladies were very pleasant to deal with when I arrived Monday morning. I had no problems getting a shuttle (although you should know to call the hotel to arrange pickup from the airport - I did ask through the app). No problems with checking in, coffee was available and hot with options, and the rooms had a really nice layout and were pleasant. It was extremely cold, hot shower, everything was just like you'd expect it to be to make you feel at home. I honestly wish I had more time in there. Be sure you put your name on the list if you want to go back to the airport (that wasn't an issue, just FYI). This is where I'll stay when I go to Charlotte and when I don't want to go downtown!

After about 40 minutes of waiting and two calls to the hotel, we were picked up by the shuttle. The driver was friendly at least. The two women working at the front desk weren’t helpful. I requested a crib shortly after making the reservation. The receptionist said that there are no cribs available and sent an employee to check if they had any playpens as an alternative. We never heard back from any employee regarding the status of this. A courtesy call notifying us that there was not a playpen would have been appreciated. Additionally, we requested shuttle service for 5 am the next morning. Per the employee working the front desk the next morning, the shuttle service was never requested the night before. All around a poor experience.

I had a great stay here the staff was friendly and the breakfast was complimentary, could use bacon but since it was free no complaints. My check in was fast and friendly. Ella and Grace were very helpful and extremely friendly. They dealt with multiple people checking in at the same time and gave everyone attention, suggested eating options, parking, shuttles and even gave coupons and waters, they are great at their job. My room didn’t smell great and was lacking in the cleanliness department it also was very hot on my floor but I did Love the studio apartment feel, and the lady at checkout and shuttle driver were great too. I will stay here again mostly because of the great service, free shuttle and closeness to the airport.

Was never a guest here bought a pack of cookies on 10/27 at 530am when picking up a guest to take to the airport. Since then they have charged my card 3 different amounts 3 different days. They must have a scammer on the machine out front as to how they have my card on file . I spoke with Raj the GM and said he would look into it but has yet to resolve the issue. Be careful at this hotel with your credit/debit cards!

Location is great, very close to the airport and they have a 24hr shuttle which helped a lot since since our flight out was very early in the morning. The staff was friendly & welcoming and made our check in very pleasant (young man & lady). We missed breakfast because we left out early so we just grabbed apples from the front desk. The lady at the desk in the morning was very sweet and cheery for that time of morning. There was no coffee in the room but fresh coffee in the lobby. The rooms are nice, we did have stray hairs in the bed and the carpet didn’t seem very clean but otherwise nice stay and will return on our next trip.

Lovely spot with quiet, well-appointed rooms. Check-in was not timely as the representative said she thought I was an employee just hanging around - with 2 suitcases, wearing diamonds, really, so she ignored me. Was not offered water as a Gold member. I shared my concern about no breakfast for my 4am departure-she said the AM clerk would make a sack breakfast for me as this is included in your rate. The AM clerk said she had no key to the locked food and that this is well known (so I was blatantly lied to). If you profess to be an airport hotel serving 24-hour travelers, pilots staff, etc, then prepare something for us or provide a $20 cash refund to make a purchase at the airport. The shuttle service was great, and the driver was helpful and knowledgeable.

Very clean and quiet hotel. I wasn't expecting a kitchenette in our room, but there was, and it was fully stocked with plates, cups, and utensils. Our room had plenty of space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary hot breakfast was good. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay here.

Overall it's a good experience. They serve complementary breakfast every day 6-10am. The breakfast tastes pretty good and they have multiple options to eat - burger, omelette, waffle (you can make your own waffle, they have everything required to make one), cereals. People on front desk are very nice and responsive. Rooms are very clean and good sunlight in the room too. Coming to few not so good things: to my surprise house keeping was not available at 4PM. Couldn't get my sheets changed because of that. So, a little disappointed on that part. Another negative I noticed was that there aren't many restaurants around, most are at least 10min drive. Understandable for a hotel that's near the airport. Hope that helps!

We booked a room last minute due to plane cancelations and we were happy to see that H2Suites was well priced. That's about the only thing that went well. The driver for the shuttle was very polite and prompt. The woman working the front desk was extremely rude. She was talking to someone on her personal cell phone and was letting the hotel phone ring as we were walking up. We got our room key and left for our room, but when we got to the room the key didn't work. My wife stayed with the bags at the room door and I left to get another key. This time the woman at the desk was absorbed watching pug videos on her phone. I explained that the room key didn't work, and she asked me what my room number was - 425 - and made another key for me. When I got back to the room my wife said that she thought that she heard someone in the room. I tried the key but it didn't work again. We went back to the front desk and explained that the key didn't work and we were sure that someone was already in the room. She said - while looking at her pug videos - that 425 doesn't have anyone. we had her double check and she told us that we must have misheard her because our room was 423. I told her that she told us 425, and I showed her the slip for the card that she gave me that said 425. She didn't even apologize, took my slip and wrote 423 on it with a new card. We got it the room and it immediately smelled like stale urine. The ac was partially disassembled, all the furniture doors/drawers were open for some reason, and the carpet was littered with nasty stains. We asked for a refund/cancelation and left. She didn't give me any grief on the way out, but I'm not confident that she actually canceled the charge so I'll have to followup. Don't stay at this hotel - Motel 6 would put this place to shame.

Great Hotel and Staff. The rooms were clean and up to date from what I seen. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Great location by the airport. Rooms could have been better maintained but I wouldn't expect much either way. Spent 2 weeks here for business and would recommend if you need an economic place that has basic kitchen amenities. You can request a skillet to cook on for your room but I didn't actually ask for one.

The lobby and room was nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast was impressive not just your regular coffee and cereal. The airport shuttle was a great help with pick up and drop off. Enjoyed the service and accommodations. Will definitely stay at this chain again.

The customer service was very good. This Home2Stay is old. It needs updating for the cost. But it is a quiet stay. The Hotel itself is in a very undesirable area. I kept checking on my car to make sure no one broke into it. So my sleep wasnt exactly restful. When we were checking out the next morning we thought we would stay one more night but we saw that 4 cars had been broken into and decided to go somewhere else.

This is a mega traveler's dream hotel. 👏 They were friendly at check in as well as fast. Was able to get a room early, rooms were clean and super close to the airport yet quiet.

Clean, nice place. Directly across from the Charlotte airport. They let us leave our car there for 2 weeks and take the shuttle to the airport. Nice people, very comfortable room.

The tv only gets a few channels that actually come in so bring your rabbit ears. It is also not a smart TV so you don't have the option to at least watch a streaming app. The bathroom pocket door is out of alignment and will not close. Other than that the place is near the airport so these issues are expected since most of the hotel guests are in and out quick.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in a studio for 3 nights on a business trip and I’m happy I booked this hotel. The staff are friendly and are courteous. I always use contactless check-in through apps so I didn’t have to talk to anyone when I got there, but I asked for extra dishwasher sachets at some point and to borrow a portable stove at another point and each employee I interacted with was very kind. The housekeeping staff member I interacted with was also very nice. From the description on the website, I had assumed the term “full kitchen” included a stove and oven, but the rooms do not have either. As previously stated, you do have the option to request to borrow a portable induction burner (it comes with a pan) from the front desk. I had to google how to use it because I had never used an induction stove before and didn’t know you needed to put the pan on the burner in order to “activate” the heating. The rooms include a little kitchenette area with a sink, dishwasher, microwave, a decent sized refrigerator and freezer, and a coffee maker. They include cutlery, a few utensils, a knife, colander, plates, small bowls, coffee mugs, glasses, a couple different sized casserole-looking dishes, little salt and pepper packets, and a paper towel roll. FYI if you’re planning on borrowing the stove, make sure you bring/buy cooking spray. Overall the room was clean, there was a couch with ottoman, plenty of lamps for lighting, and plenty of counter space. Because this hotel is a 4 minute drive from the airport, you will hear planes flying over, however, surprisingly I didn’t find them excessive or too noisy. One issue I faced was that because it had been an average of 100°F outside, the room took A LONG TIME to cool down. It wouldn’t cool down to the temperature it said it was until I left it on the lowest temperature for a full day. I stayed on the highest floor (4th floor) so this may have had something to do with heat rising from the rooms below. Being someone who needs to have an ice cave to sleep in, I didn’t have much of an issue with the temperature the first night somehow. I took off one star because of the parking. There are literally about 20 spaces for this 4 story hotel. It is also directly next to 2-3 other hotels with joint parking lots. All hotels in the vicinity seem to share parking, so you might be able to find parking in one of the adjoining parking lots. Somehow I found a spot each day, but it was literally always the last spot in the parking lot/alley parking. The contactless room key does not work on the back door of the hotel, even though there’s a sign that says it works. All in all, I had a very nice stay. I would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Charlotte.

My partner and I stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Airport and we both thought it was excellent! We were on a road trip all over North Carolina and was pleasantly surprised how clean the establishment was, and our room overall. Upon arrival, Dia at the front desk helped me, I told her that I had a pet and would like a pet-friendly room. The charge was $50 for this location which I think is fair. Kudos to Dia because we had a wonderful experience and would return to a Home2 Suites because of her hospitality. Our room had a nice kitchenette, the only complaint I had was that the dishes in the dishwasher was not clean as advertised by the sticker on the dishwasher so I called Dia at the front desk to let her know and give her feedback for next time. Check out time is 12pm noon (which is later than most places) and I was able to ask for a late check out until 1 pm because they were not fully booked (thank goodness). We were able to take our time with breakfast and packing up with a later check out. The gentleman that helped fulfill this request the next morning was very nice and helpful too.

I stayed at this hotel for an extended stay and I will say they get 5 stars for the front desk and their customer service as far as the bed it was very cheap feeling on the thinner side which I didn’t like. But the rooms were clean I stayed on the 4th out of 5 floors and had wonderful sunlight in the mornings. They have a mediocre breakfast in the morning but it’s free so can’t complain. The coffee is always hot and fresh in the morning. I read on a previous review someone complaining about the the planes which is silly and not the hotels fault but it is extremely close to the airport so if you are sitting outside you will absolutely hear and feel the 747 flying above you taking off but I loved it. You can hardly hear it in your rooms . As far as safety the hotel elevators only allow you to get off on your floors and the stairwells do not open on any floors unless your going to the first. Which made me feel very safe and secure.
