Our family of 5 spent 4 nights at the Aloft Charlotte - Ballantyne in July. We were there as a part of a larger group of AAU basketball families for a national basketball tournament. The entire stay was really nice. The hotel is brand new and very modern. It gave our teenagers plenty to do in the lobby area where they had a pool table and a cool lounge area. The indoor pool and the gym were convenient and appointed nicely. Each time we went, we were the only people using those facilities. The reception staff was very accommodating and understanding of our large group’s slightly louder dynamic. The hotel is located in a very convenient neighborhood of Ballantyne which has numerous great food options. The room rates and availability make it a great choice for both business and leisure type travel.

We stayed here for business. Caleb worked magic and made sure our employees were taken care of for our all-hands meeting. My experience here at the Aloft was a LOT better than my experience at the Westin downtown Charlotte for our same annual function last time. I told Caleb what I wanted for our meeting room, the hotel rooms, and to charge it all on the company, and he made it so. The Westin still somehow charges half the employees and we had to revisit charges in January. Caleb made sure there was a complimentary shuttle running for hotel guests and we utilized it. The Westin told us taxis could not be called but only limo service could be used and gave us a specific card ( probably of a friend or relative). The Westin downtown was just plain shady for our function last time. The Aloft easily exceeded our expectations this past week. The rooms were very European with interesting ways to store stuff in the room. I recommend the Aloft in Ballantyne wholeheartedly.

Aloft is usually my go - to hotel when I travel. My first time at this upscale location. The area is beautiful & I just had to come try it out for myself. The lady at the bar was so sweet & the drinks were definitely on point I think her name was Tori. The folks at the front were also nice & helpful. Downstairs seemed clean and well put together, room seemed that way as well until i happen to wake up in the middle of the night and use the bathroom. I happen to look down under at the lil cubby area and see some Polo Ralph underwear, wife beater, & some other underwear which is the nastiest thing ever. I’ve never dealt with that even at some of the more less expensive hotels I’ve stayed at. Not all but this Aloft has really lost some points on this one. Makes me wonder how clean the room actually is cause apparently housekeeping didn’t do a thorough clean/check on the room if that nasty mess was left behind. GET IT TOGETHER ALOFT!!!!!!

Hosted a work meeting here for 20 people - it was nice to sleep and meet in the same building. The tactical room was plenty big, good AC, and easy screen sharing access to the large TV. Separate Wifi for the tactical room as well. Host even offered block pricing and reserving which made it very simple for a large group. As long as I'm in charge of setting up meetings, I'll continue to use this location

I have stayed in many hotels but I must say that this stay at the Aloft was everything! I came in town for the Duke Mayo Classic and stayed one night. The best part about this hotel is that dogs stay FREE! Yes FREE!!!!! I don't know if all Aloft's are like that but if they are, I will only stay at Aloft hotels wherever I go, unless they have bad reviews. The person who welcomed us was Hugh, he was great! Very professional, courteous, warm and welcoming! The hotel was clean, the room was super clean! The mattress was soft! Hugh even let us know that the A/C was not working in the first floor hallway only, where we would be staying but they did have a crew working to repair it and it was fixed! I love the security of the hotel. You had to have your hotel key to access the door to your hallway leading to your room. No free breakfast but I would prefer a free dog stay over free breakfast any day! The pool was nice. I will definitely be back to this hotel, I give this hotel a 10/10!

We've stayed here several times now. Every time we come to Charlotte to visit our kids. Great hotel. Quiet! Clean, staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Enthusiastically recommend for all.

Always a great stay. This Aloft is located in the business district (Charlotte Ballantyne) so at night, even on the weekends, it is very calm. They have a bar and the drinks are very good. The bartenders are always friendly. The rooms are very modern, the bed was firm, but comfortable, and the room was very clean! If you are looking for a place to stay in Charlotte on the weekends, and you are willing to commute a little ways to your tourist destination, I highly recomend!

Very nice large clean rooms. Easy and quick check in and out. Even has an indoor pool. Very comfortable beds too.

My time there was great, HOWEVER, I know for sure I left an item behind and when I called back, they claimed to have not seen it. Whoever cleaned the room would have had to have seen it and must have taken it. Word of advice when staying here, make sure you have all your belongings because if you leave something behind, it’s gone forever.

Amanda, the executive mixologist is not only one of the most skilled spirit curators in the City of Charlotte but her keen total recall of names is Mensa level impressive. She has an uncanny ability to hold a full conversation while never break stride as she made copious libations. This trip was memorable for the great staff of Aloft as well, with full thanks for many weary travelers.

Only stayed for 1 night but had no issues. Bar stayed open until midnight which was great for some late night conversation and last minute work. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I am sure I'll be back again soon.

Nice hotel conveniently located. Im giving a two star on customer service. I think the staff are pretty stoic and should be a little more friendly to the guests.

Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne is definitely the place to stay! check out times are later, pets allowed, bar open till 12 and the rooms are clean and modern. definitely 10/10 would recommend!

I stayed here with my husband and two dogs and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were nice, clean, and modern. Even though they don't offer complimentary breakfast, they sell grab-and-go snacks which was convenient. The parking lot was under construction with some sections blocked off but there was still plenty of spots available. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

I had an amazing experience here. The location is perfect and the staff and the room was awesome. I think this will be my new first choice of hotels when in Charlotte

The rooms are gorgeous and so spacious but my only issue was the small bathtub that looks like it was made for a very petite person. It had me getting water all over the floor but I still recommend. The bar is a plus although the drinks are kind of up there but I still liked. The staff and customers made me feel welcomed.

The staff and customer service were excellent. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms and all areas were VERY clean. This is a pet friendly hotel. We loved it!

Beautiful, modern room. Great views. Great amenities. Food area. 24/7 Fitness center. Pool. Nice outdoor space. Great location. Only small issue I had was the bed was a little challenging getting adjusted to. But overall great experience, highly recommend. God bless.

Things was great when my wife and myself checked in. But once shift changed, that am we was discriminated by the front desk (White gentleman named Craig I believe). We asked to extend our check-out time, and he asked for cash, asked could he just charge card on file. Then he called the room to tell up that the room needed to be cleaned so be prepared to let house keeping in ( why when we just extend it), lastly when our food arrived he called the room saying we couldn't have food delivered, but earlier and the night before it wasn't a problem. We decided to leave, and will not return there again. We usually have excellent service there, but clearly Craig doesn't have customer service skills, he really made our stay very unpleasant.

This is an amazing location! The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and started our trip off nicely by giving us a bag of dog treats and poo bags for our pup. Bar drinks could have been better but I don’t expect a lot from a hotel bar. The room was clean and I love the Dry Bar bath products!

Everything was perfect during my stay. The staff is friendly; the hotel's shuttle service is very convenient; and the location is great for the Ballantyne area.

We had a water leak and needed a hotel that allow dogs. I did not expect the place to look like it did. Beautiful hotel, clean room and exceptional customer service. Would visit again.

We’ve stayed here several times, and we love that we know what to expect. There are no surprises or disappointments like you would find in an Airbnb. The rooms are ALWAYS clean, the staff is ALWAYS kind and friendly, and the stay is ALWAYS reasonably priced. This hotel experience is what all hotel stays should be like. Aloft sets the standards for sure. We did have a small problem with the pool, but in all the times we’ve stayed, that’s happened once.

Stayed here for work and had an amazing time! The staff is super friendly and everything is very clean! My wife and I spent quite a bit of time in the lobby/bar area for work and spoke with Amanda quite a bit! She was so helpful and took great care of us! Excited to come back again hopefully soon!

Booked here for Mother’s Day to have the kids swim and it was so peaceful. The indoor pool was perfect being that it was chilly. The kids had the pool to themselves the entire time. The room was almost perfect, A spill was on the door and was very noticeable but the comfort of the beds took that away from my attention. A great place to relax. Great service checking in and out. Will return back soon!

Check in was fast and efficient thanks to Hugh. Our room was clean and public areas were spaced well. Staff here were professional and friendly. The re-fuel area was a nice touch and the breakfast was great. Enjoyed our drinks at the bar too. This is one of the nicest pet-friendly hotel chains we have stayed and this hotel is fantastic.
