I stayed here twice in one week for 3 nights total during a work trip and I was not disappointed. The staff was pleasant and helpful and I was able to check in late. The room had in what I needed and the hotel was located in a great area with plenty of dining options including a hibachi restaurant next-door.

It was okay. Very difficult to find if you are from out of the area. I was warned that I would not be getting housekeeping, that was fine with me. Except coffee would have been nice. The fridge was in a cabinet and hot to the touch. Couldn't find the hair drier. I think it was way over priced for what you get. Not worth the money. Also had to go down 3 times to get my keys replaced because they didn't work. And,NO, I didn't have them near my phone. A lot of noise outside. When you are parked outback and can't even get into the building, have to walk some distance to the front desk to enter, then go to the room only to find out your keys don't work there either and you are disabled,on the 4th floor,it was very inconvenient.

Have not stayed there but stood security there and from what we've seen pretty nice. Just make sure you take everything out of vehicles or hide it you know how that goes. Place is clean and area has lots of different foods to choose from when you're tummy is craving something good. Customer service is awesome from observing how they greet the customers and take care of your needs.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. Upon arrival to the hotel I felt unsafe because there was several signs posted warning you of car break ins. Although, I appreciated the warning signs it made me feel uneven and concerned about my house. The staff wasn't very customer friendly. And to make matters worse it took of 3 hours for me to get situated in a room due to my first few rooms assigned was dirty and had a very undistinguished smell. The rooms just aren't cleaned appropriately. The food was horrible

I did not feel welcome at all. We had two reservations and while I checked in I explained my brother was outside unpacking the car. The desk attendant said " he must be here to check in" and all hit stopped checking me in. I had to go outside and produce my brother, who is not staying in my room, for him to continue checking me into my room. No problem, I have experienced rude people before, I'm not fragile. He goes on to scrutinize the credit card required for the $5 per day "MANDATORY" parking fee that was not disclosed before arrival. I explained that my card had sufficient credit to cover the incidental expenses and the parking fee. He replied "OK, but I won't be able to check you in if it doesn't, the computer won't let me put in another card." Now I'm starting to get offended. I just want to get away from this man and lay down. I get to my room ready for a shower and the mold was so ridiculous I felt like I was in cave. Next morning, complimentary breakfast has not been served in over 2 years! I get out to the parking lot and there's trash and broken liquor bottles on the ground. It was then I knew I booked an overpriced dump. Location was great for what I needed at the time but never again. They need an overhaul and retraining. Good luck. See pictures.

Rooms are mediocre, funny placement of furniture for room I was in, rooms were small. Had issues with shower when I first got there which was resolved, 3rd night there lady wanted me to pay another deposit since I renewed for a other night...absolutely NOT! Door latch kept getting stuck when leaving the room so wouldn't lock unless u played with latch. Black guy at front desk always calm, respectful and helpful, he provided excellent customer service. Still awaiting my deposit back. Not sure if I'll stay here again honestly.

I stayed at Sonesta for a weekend, the young lady who checked us in was very dry to say the least. The room was decent but the bathtub as well as some of the towels had hair in them and we hadn’t even used them yet. Upon checking out I noticed I was charged $10 more dollars than what I was charged initially and this charge came from daily parking which is ridiculous this is not an airport and if anything happens to you car (i.e. break in)on the property you are still responsible so to charge a fee is unreasonable. Meanwhile I’m still waiting for my deposit back I was told 10 business days but when I called back they told me because of my card it would take “longer” but they don’t know how much longer. They also said my bank is holding it but I called my bank and the merchant (the hotel) has to release the payment.

We are taking a respite on a journey to join other family members for Thanksgiving. The hotel looks newly renovated, however when you look closely it is only partially renovated. It is very clean and modern looking. Nonetheless, my boys think this is one of the best places they have stayed. A few notes for improvement, the AC unit can get an upgrade, the shower curtain smelled should get washed more frequently. There is no breakfast available however many other restaurants are around the corner.

My wife and i stayed here for a few nights while visiting family, we have stayed at another location in atl so we gave this one a try, we were definitely pleased with the Hotel, the night we checked in the staff were quick to get us checked in (we used priceline) and did so with no problems, our interactions we staff both days were good. The hotels convenience store was nicely stocked ( we purchased some wine) Didn't use the gym or pool but both looked to be clean and well kept. Our room was the best part, clean, quite well laid out, comfortable sofa for watching TV, bed was great as well. It's on our list of places we can stay at in clt

Check-in was at 3. We got there at 4:00 and was told the room was still not ready and it would be 45 more minutes. It ended up being only about 20 minutes, but still frustrating considering we were attending an event that evening and we're on a tight schedule. The staff was very friendly and apologetic. Our room was very clean & comfortable. Loved the big bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash instead of fumbling with the tiny bottles. Hair dryer, iron, and mini fridge in room with microwave accessable next to ice machine in vending area. Beautiful outdoor courtyard in the middle of the hotel with comfy furniture to enjoy socializing outdoors. Front desk also has well stocked "market" with items you have have forgotten (hygiene items and medication) along with snacks and drinks. A shuttle to popular local events would have been helpful, however the location and parking lot are easy for Uber/Lyft to get in and out of.

Got to the hotel after calling to confirm it was a pet friendly hotel to be told there is an extra 75$ a night plus tax for the dog. The was insanely loud all night there was no hair dryer in the room even thought it was a “deluxe” room. They never even served breakfast. First and last time I will be staying there.

This place is a really nice place to stay. The front staff, Kevin and Chris, were very friendly and helpful at check in. The room was a suite that had doors that seperated the bedroom from the living room, was nicely furnished and clean. The location was perfect, being located near several nice restaurants and UNCC. It was only about 15 minutes from the attraction we were headed to so that made it very convenient. The price was unbelievable considering how nice the rooms were. Will definitely stay there again.

I stayed the week of Thanksgiving to gather with my daughter who moved to Charlotte, This hotel NEEDS DEEP CLEAN SHAMPOO FOR THE CARPETS AND ELEVATORS!!! WEED SMOKING AND NOT MUCH HOUSEKEEPING!! I WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN. THE ROOM WAS FINE.

This place is declining for sure. They charge you for parking and they don’t clean the rooms. We stayed here in April and found a weed gummy on the floor and they had to refund us for the room. In hopes they would have improved since then we came back. Needless to say this was a major mistake. Not only did we find another gummy in the floor we found a used condom beside the night stand. The comforter was stained and they tried to hide it by tucking it in. We found a random tie in the sofa bed. Once we alerted the front desk of this they acted like they really didn’t care and the house keeping was rude.

BEWARE BEWSRE BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. It took over 3 hours to get placed in my room. I was assigned several rooms that were unclean ( dirty/stained linen, hair particles throughout the room, tub and sink left unclean, the couch and rig was stained and dirty) had a very strong order. Upon arrival to the hotel I felt unsafe because there was several signs posted warning you of car break ins. Although, I appreciated the warning signs it made me feel uneven and concerned about my house. The night worker was polite but demonstrated a nonchalant attitude as I waited over 3 hours for an adequate room. Themorning shift had poor customer service. As I attempted to speak with her so kept her attention to her cell phone no eye contact offered. Eventually, she looked up for a moment as if I had disrupted her from what she had going on

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff, inviting lobby and good lighting. The nightly rate was reasonable and it was very easy to get in and out of this hotel. Parking was easy. Very small but well laid out with a coffee pot and all of the conveniences. The bed was also very comfy and good lighting in the room. The room was great with one huge exception the water pressure was almost nonexistent. After a long drive I wanted nothing more than a Nice hot bath, and it was impossible in this room. A shower the following morning was also not going to happen. There was no breakfast or coffee in the lobby.

The staff the room, the directions so close to the race track 15 minutes, but yet far enough that when you’re ready to have some fun on the town that’s what you can do the room was beautiful it was spacious if we didn’t want to go anywhere to eat there’s a beautiful stove, air, microwave, full-size fridge, icemaker, utensils, glasses, cookware and the bed was awesome very comfy and clean. Sometimes places put a lot of bleach on their sheets. It was perfect. Sonesta was the next best thing to be in home. Great job guys and girls.!

After I read some of the reviews, I began to regret my decision to book with this hotel. However, I wanted to see for myself due to my previous positive experience with Sonesta. As far as I'm concerned, this hotel did not disappoint. My room was clean, the linens were fresh, and the hotel staff was kind. Chris, in particular, was very helpful when I explained I would be arriving late. He also informed me of area restaurants that would be open at the time I arrived! Overall, my stay was pleasant. My only concern was that the housekeeping staff assumed that I had checked out and proceeded to walk into my room without knocking. Had I not had the door latched, I would have been thoroughly embarrassed and beyond offended. I'm thankful that when I informed the front desk, she was apologetic and assured me that the manager would address the issue promptly.

I had a one night stay, booked through a third party. I was not able to get my room until 3 hours after booking. My rating is for the room & service. We were placed in room 200 on the first floor, it never cooled off in the room regardless of what we changed the thermostat too. - Im not sure if the office sets it at a certain temperature or if it's suppose to work from your room. We did not ask for a replacement room considering we booked third party & the previous interaction with front desk. The o ly thing that was cold was the mini fridge which frozen my food but at least it done the job. Now to speak on the service that I received: I'm not sure if Mr. Ronnie overlooked the booking, couldn't find it, or it was on behalf of the third party. Anywho I spoke back & forth with both separately & together. I did ask for a manager from Mr. Ronnie upon me asking the third or forth time within a hour if my room was available. He stated that management was unable and there was no manager there at the time. He aslo assumed that the third party I booked with must be fake because he never heard of it and stated that I should call them and try to get my money back. He also stated that there is so many third party bookings that he wouldn't be sure of how it would come in or when. After I told him that the third party I booked with had taken the money out and telling me the room should be able and giving me a confirmation number - which mr.ronnie refused to look up until after I repeatedly called instead of walking in - the room however "didn't appear" because the name would just appear and he didn't see it. I will say that I asked to leave my name & number to be called once the booking showed. After complete frustration management of the third party app contacted the hotel personally and immediately after I received a call from Mr.Ronnie stating my room was available...Now as I stated before Im not sure what the confusion was about however waiting 3 hours for a room that was booked before arrival is crazy.

I specifically sought out this hotel after a fantastic stay at a Sonesta in Atlanta - it was a mistake. There was a bit of a run around because my school was paying for me to go to a conference and requested a CCA. After many back and forth conversations with the hotel they 1. found my confirmation and booking number that some working the desk could not, and I was provided the Credit Card Authorization form. I sent it to my school and they took care of it roughly three weeks in advance. Upon arrival to the hotel, I receive notice the wi-if is spotty to the point they need to call someone to fix it, but they haven’t. They explain there is a person who sometimes shows up to make breakfast, but not to worry because there are many restaurants I could go to in the area. Of course, they also didn’t know anything about the CCA form and decided to check me in and look later. My phone number was verified so they could call me with an update. Except they never did. Upon checkout I asked if they straightened it out since I had not heard anything. No, it was not. There were no notes that would provide insight and so, they just charged my card that was on file. That was not actually going to be said to me except I asked point blank. The customer service is abysmal, the pillows flatten easily, and the bed was hard. There was no matching of any of my expectations. Most of this I could overlook except for the ambivalence shown in the customer service. There are many hotels in the area. I highly suggest ANY other.

Went to the hotel, showed up and was treated poorly. Then was told to get the “F off the property by the security, for just asking questions about their policy. Please. Show me documentation where you can’t take a photo of a photo ID. I am a Veteran and was coming back from taken care of transitioning service members. I had lost my wallet.. Dennis was incredibly rude and was almost mocking me. This was incredibly sad. Zack Cleghorn…. You are welcome to look me up and see what I do for our countries heroes.

There was no fridge or microwave in the room I had which was disappointing. The beds were comfortable and there was a very comfy corner couch in the room. The TV was small and kind of outdated/bad quality of picture. The showers came with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Everything did appear to be clean though so I was happy about that. I wish they'd had free coffee in the lobby.
