This hotel was filthy. Bugs were in both of my rooms (I had to switch rooms upon arrival). I did my own wipe down of surfaces which made my cloths black. The carpets were visibility not clean. There were roach traps in the breakfast area. The staff was incredibly rude. I would not recommend staying here.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. We chose it because it has a kitchenette. We expected a kitchenette with basic utilities. Unfortunately, it doesn't even have basic utensils. The frying pan was really old and all scratched, only 2 cups, 2 small plates. They have small plates that they call "bowls" so do not expect to eat your cereal with them. They don't have a small knife to cut and peel vegetables and fruits. So when we asked them for bigger plates and more glasses, the lady HANDED me some that were so dusty and had a dead insect on them as you can see in the pictures. To be honest, we were shocked. We also found hair on almost all the towels we had. As per the front desk, we asked for a room cleaning for the next day, no one showed up. We travel a lot and have never seen anything like this. When we asked to speak to a manager, the lady at the front desk claimed to be the one and offered us to leave the next day if we weren't happy. To be honest, I didn't know what to say... How can you claim to be a manager when you can't even listen to your guests. If you plan on using the kitchenette, do not go to this place. The Marriott Residence Inn should be a much better option.

Have now stayed twice here because this is where the company I work for books me. The rooms are nice the beds are a little to soft for me and the pillows don't give any support. The staff is friendly enough. The biggest complaint I have is their breakfast food is cold everyday! I have told them numerous times and they don't seem to care. I have resorted to taking my food to my room and heating up internet microwave. 😩

Clean, beautiful rooms. Our king size bed was very comfortable. And a plus for us was that the restroom had lotion, shampoo and conditioner. It's rare that companies still have perks for people. The employees were friendly, and attentive! Good job Homewood Suites by Hilton!

We enjoyed our stay! It made us feel like we were home even though we were not. Mr. Colby and Mrs. Dominique were wonderful! The housekeepers did a wonderful job and were very friendly. The breakfast staff did an awesome job as well, they kept everything full. Definitely can't wait to come back!!

The rooms are clean. The staff is gracious and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is standard. The location, the hotel is tucked inside a 15min city Ayrsley. The town is effectively an extension of the hotels. Within 5 walking minutes of your hotel you have safe access to at least 5 bars and restaurants, and a movie theater. Best restaurant nearby: Jim an Nick's BBQ...10 min away (I got a pound of smoked pork, gigantic sides of Mac and cheese and potato salad and a dozen cheddar biscuits for 35 dollars... literally ate in heaven for 2 days. Probably could stretched it out for two more days if I could stop myself. It's so good.) Best local pizza: Luigis pizza..10 min away.

We had an awful time here. They keep running the alarms throughout the day. They gave us a heads up only once but did the fire alarm runs randomly throughout the day for two days. I have a sleeping infant and it was horrible. They’d test like 5 times some hours. The heating in the living area also didn’t work. The stoves barely work, I couldn’t even get a pot of water to boil to sanitize the baby bottles. The sinks are tiny too for washing. Also when we came the dishwasher wasn’t unloaded, that should have been taken care of housekeeping. The room was also not clean. My son was touching random hairballs and things on the floor and it was disgusting. I also asked for extra dishwashing packs (we had a 3 night stay and they only gave us one, make that make sense) and they wouldn’t even bring jt to our room. With a baby it’s so hard to get out sometimes and it’s literally their job?? The breakfast was okay, not many hot options but they’ve got the basics. But what did concern me was an employee coughing on her gloves and then touching the foods and surfaces. She did it about three times that I saw. Overall this was the worst experience we’ve had. Very dissapointed as a Hilton diamond member. As a Hilton owned hotel, I expected better.

I want to personally thank Tyasia for her perfessional customer service. Her assistance exceeded expectations. The hotel had a welcoming and clean environment that one could appreciate and call a second home. The breakfast staff provided excellent service as well 👍

Had an amazing experience with this hotel when we needed a last-minute meeting room (literally 10 mins until presentation) because a competing hotel lost our reservation. The receptionist and manager were more than accommodating and helpful by allowing us to rent the room for a couple hours with 30 people. This level of service is very uncommon in Charlotte, and we were so thankful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable meeting space or room. If you are looking at any of the other hotels next to it, I would pass and use this one every time.

Arrived Wed night. Nice room. Breakfast was also good. Maid service, not good. First day was good. On the second day, we ran out of toilet paper.and because it was an inconvenience for the cleaning lady to come back an hour (1pm) later to clean the room , I just received towels. I told her that the next day, I was going to be out of the room from 9am until 5pm. When we returned, NO service was done to the room.

If I could give these folks a 0 star I would. Very poor customer service. They charged me double for a one night stay. Made a lot of mistakes during check in. Hung up on me when I tried to find a happy resolve. I would expect more since I'm a Hilton Honors member. Rude and inconsiderate customer service!

Stayed here for almost a week, had pretty much the same breakfast everyday (eggs and potatoes) that was cold and barely refilled when empty unless you stalked the staff. One day out of the 5 they had real plates, hot food, full pans, and were cleaning so we were guessing that some big wig was visiting that day. The weekend morning front desk staff person was extremely rude, especially when you interrupted her personal conversation on her cell phone, if she was even at the desk and not in the breakfast area or at her car. The other staff throughout the stay were courteous and helpful when needed. The rooms were clean when we arrived and stocked with all the essentials as well as a welcome letter from housekeeping, some cookies and bottled water. We booked 2 rooms asked for them to be connecting and that is what we were given. It was odd though that the wall light switch in one bedroom controlled the light in the other suites bedroom; had we only used one room and this was the case, it would have been a bigger problem but it was a bit creepy before we figured out what was happening. The pool and outdoor patio area were nice and clean and the location of the hotel was close to everything we came here for.

Decent location. Clean. Paper thin walls so when neighbors are partying and talking late into the night, it’s as if their in the same room. Called front desk twice. They don’t care. Not worth the effort to ensure peace and quiet. There’s several Hilton brand hotels in Arsley all right next to each other. Do the smart thing and stay in any of them except Homewood Suites.

Great extended stay hotel that even ALLOWS PETS! Nice outside pool, BUT it's not handicapped accessible as their website says. Rooms and common areas are kept clean and have modern furnishings. It's off the busy main road so you don't hear any traffic. And staff has been responsive to our needs during our stay.

What a great stay, what a great hotel. We have already made plans to go back. Room was clean, breakfast was great, staff was phenomenal. I was worried about our late arrival Thursday called the hotel and the employee that I spoke to confirmed my reservation. I am sorry I cannot recall her name, begins with a C I believe. Upon arrival the same employee checked us in, warmly greeted us like we knew each other, recommended places to eat, talked about the area and advised us of the hotel amenities. She was there in the evenings for the duration of our stay, except Sunday. Despite it being busy other families in the area for sporting events it was not loud, not messy, not crowded. The pool was great my 5 year old really enjoyed it. The lounge area outside was very nice. A few nice family friendly restaurants within 5 minutes walking. We were trying to go to DC but the hotels up there were sold out so decided to drive down to Charlotte. I am very glad it turned out that way. I am sure we enjoyed ourselves more in Charlotte than we would have in DC.

Didn't live up to other Homewood stays. Several issues; heat didn't work in one of our rooms, front desk never answered the phone, and then when I went down to the front desk no one was there and had to wait 10 mins for someone to show up, breakfast was poor quality and not restocked, the Peloton bike wasn't connected to internet so you couldn't fully use it, the digital key didn't work on any doors but the room door so we had to get regular keys anyways and then those didn't work, and we were denied entry to the building upon arrival due to fire alarm after 10 hrs of driving with no idea of how long it would be until we could get in. I will say the staff were all very kind and respectful when they were around and the fitness room had nice equipment. There's also a flashing portable security camera trailer in the parking lot that didn't make us feel too safe.

Not a clean place. I had a 6-night stay booked. I had to cancel after day 1. Outside the building looks like a dog did it's business. Inside all of the carpets are filthy. In my room the floor and table were sticky. It was depressing going in and out.

I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and by far this was the worst. Seems as if they try to cut cost with stuff like bathroom maintenance instead of replacing fill valve in toilet it was rigged with zip ties, I mean come on it’s like a 20$ part at a local hardware store. Also seemed as if they tried to cut cost by not keeping breakfast items stocked maybe not to waste which I appreciate if they went about it in a more sensible way like put out a sign stating such. Overall stay was awful from the harsh greeting or lack there of, to them not refunding me my points because I decided to leave early. I have found a new appreciation for Marriot properties and I believe I will start doing business over there.

Where to start.... first off customer service was horrible. Phone keys nor physical room cards worked throughout the entire trip. You would get one use and then they quit. I basically I had to walk around the entire building twice to even get into the side where our room was at. From desk didn't help with that at all. Arrived and the silverware in the "clean" dishwasher was super gross. Forks and spoons in the drawers had stuck on food. This does not include the lack of silverware. A 3 bed and only 1 fork and 2 spoons... Beds are sucken in and need to be replaced, you could feel the springs. Trash can wasn't even empty when we arrived. Bring your own condition for your trip, there was 3 bottles of lotion and 2 shampoo but no conditioner. Last thing, NO PARKING! There was no where even close to park on a Tuesday. As a woman walking forever in a low light area to the hotel I did not feel safe. They need more parking area walk way lights.

Stated here while in town for a 2 business event, loved the room, very clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and we had plenty of linens for time we were there, check-in was fast and simple and the front desk staff were very polite and professional, we didn't utilize the breakfast but it looked and smelled good every morning. The hotels location is perfect, will definitely stay again!!

Cheyenne and the food staff were incredible! Really liked the breakfast set up and the games on the patio. Oh and some people grilled, we played bags, aka corn hole, and enjoyed the happy hour!

Our stat here was ok. We woke up itching like someone didn't change the bed. Found a stain on the sheets when I was sitting in the chair. We were there for track n field so we stayed out all night an needed a shower. The shower had bugs an spider in the corner. When paying alot of money for a room you want to feel comfortable an the stay wasn't that at all. The room smelt great an the location was awesome just didn't get the service we paid for.

Old building but okay. The room was clean but smelled stale. Nice staff but the elevator is tiny and it's only one. You'll have a long wait if you're there on a weekend and you don't want to pile in due to COVID. Parking is extremely hard also. I won't be returning.

I would have totally have given this hotel 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the fact that the first night we got there they gave us the wrong room. We requested a room with 2 queen beds but the one they sent us to only had 1 king bed & there 4 of us. The lady was extremely nice & helpful & gave us 2 king rooms with adjoining rooms for the inconvenience. But failed to mention that the next day we would have to move rooms. So the next day we went to Carowinds & we were there all day, but when we got back to the room that evening the key to one of the rooms didn’t work & so we went down to the front desk to see what was wrong & they made us change rooms again & we were leaving the next day so they just wasted a perfectly good room that they could have used to check out. She said that someone tried to contact us but nobody did. That was such an inconvenience for my family. We had to walk what almost felt like a mile because the new room was on the other side of the hotel.

The staff was unprofessional, loud, having their own personal conversations with each other and on their cell phones talking. They acted like they were being inconvenienced by having to assist you with anything. The suite smelled very strong like bug spray and mold. The floor of the tub was really dirty and the shower curtain was ripped and hanging off. The bagels at the continental breakfast had spores of mold covering them. I have stayed at many Hilton Hotels. This by far is my worst experience.

Young lady who checked me in was very friendly and nice, the staff who came in after her were not as friendly..the lady at front desk lied to me about having clean towels then I came back downstairs to go out for dinner and watched her give towels to another lady..I don't know if they were trying to keep the guests from the family reunion happy, but we all paid to stay there, we all should've got the same courtesy. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the pullout bed was to hard for my kids.
