Let me first say the hotel is great. I'm a Gold member who stays often at this hotel because of how great it is. Unfortunately my stay this weekend has already been ruined by a front desk associate by the name of Tanya. I came for an early check in, and no rooms were available. No big deal, it happens and I'm reasonable. However I was carrying heavy bags and got caught in the rain. So this news was frustrating and I asked a few questions to better understand if rooms were not available for early check in, or for the whole night. She literally wouldn't let me ask my full question without cutting me off, and I tried at least 3 times. Once I realized I was raising my voice to try to be heard, I stopped, asked her name, and walked away. I sent feedback to a manager named Meghan who was just nothing short of amazing. You truly embody what I'm accustomed to experiencing at this hotel. I don't plan on staying here again, but thank you for at least hearing me out and showing even an ounce of empathy. I hope Tanya receives better training and treats her next guest with respect and kindness. We all may have had a rough day, just try to be kind. That's all. Thanks again.

To all of you who travel for a living, avoid this Residence Inn at all costs because they will steal money on your credit card. I orginally booked a room until May 5. My project finished early and I was able to leave on Saturday, April 30. They have charged my credit card for the remaining nights up to May 5. The manager refuses to call me back and discuss this. I have filed paperwork with my bank to deny these charges. In over 40 years of traveling around the country, I have never had a motel steal money from me.

We were greeted by Tonya. She was fantastic. There were also two gentlemen whose names I regretfully didn’t get that were extremely friendly at the desk the following days. The beds were so comfortable that it was hard to leave them (it was like sleeping on clouds) and we loved the turnable TV set in the room. Great stay!

Alethia is the best! It was such a pleasant experience to check in with her at 130am after 9hrs long on the road! I can’t think of a way she can be better or more lovely. The hotel is abit tricky to find if you’re looking for the residence inn sign as the building says another hotel in big letters at top of hotel and one tiny sign for residence inn. Other than that, this place is great! Very very clean room/hotel and quiet! Great a/c. Lovely pool and outdoor spaces. Accepting of my small dog. King Studio amenities are very nice and room is spacious. Bed is comfy as well. Blackout curtains could be a plus to add. Will definitely stay here again!

The A/C in our room took hours to cool down in the summer heat and never truly got as cold as we set the thermostat. We also had to wait 2 hours to have our room ready after the posted check-in time.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. My first time staying was great but this time was very different. First day of check in the tv did not work. This amazing guy named Gemariah went out of his way to try to get it working and when he couldn’t he went and retrieved a new one and hooked it up. The room and bathroom were clean however the AC didn’t work properly. The room temp was 80 degrees and it was 90 degrees outside. The front desk clerk tried to help by giving us a small fan but when she plugged it in the socket it didn’t work either. We were super hot inside the room and Contemplated checking out early but the front desk clerk couldn’t guarantee us at least a partial refund stating that she had no one to call and all the maintenance had quit a few days prior. We finally went & purchased a small fan which helped make our stay a little more tolerable. Hopefully my next stay will be better

I had booked for residence inn and checked in through the app, on arrival I was made aware that I have been moved to a courtyard room (employees at front desk were not at all helpful). Next day on talking to the manager , I got a residence in room and on checking in , the air conditioning was not working. I was then moved to another room that was good. Toilet paper was missing , bath tub, kitchen sink and bath basin was clogged throughout. Very bad finished jobs with most of the cabinets in bathroom falling off. Tanya at front desk was helpful and made it up with her attitude and help .

I visited this hotel for an extended stay and found it to be the home away from home that I needed. The staff, including Mario & Ava, were extremely helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Patient people. I checked in early, they got me a room fast. Only draw back was the room was tooo dark. I had to use my phones flash light to cook over the stove. No good closet to hang clothes. Nice size gym. Close to other shopping areas

I was one of the long-term stay guests at the Residence Inn Northlake. Service was SUPER EXCELLENT from day 1 !!!!! I will rate it 10 stars because everything was twice as nice!! All the management and staff are very helpful and they brightened up my day with their ready greeting and smile!! With the length of my stay there, I considered them as family. Special mention to Mr. Dave Love, the Sales Manager, for ALL his help and assistance. My stay here was the biggest highlight of my temporary move to Charlotte.

I’ve stayed here twice now and likely won’t be staying anywhere else in the future. I’ve stayed on both sides, and both are different but equally nice. The hotel is clean and updated on the inside and out. Great location close to Northlake. Roxanne checked us in and she was amazing. There was another gentleman whose name I didn’t get when we checked out but he was just as sweet. Love it there!!! Highly recommend.

Booked a room on Expedia and it wasn’t as described. Usually when you get an accessible room you’re made aware. I didn’t book one but I received one. It was dark, old and dingy. Expedia said room slept 4, but it didn’t. Had two little kids and the area didn’t really seem too safe for us. Tried to get a different room but the front desk person refused. Marriotts are usually known for their amazing customer service. Was very disappointed. Ended up just leaving and going to a different place. Would not come back.

Hotel was nice. A lady who refused to give her name was demanding a credit card from everyone checking out saying we owed additional money, however refused to give a bill of what she said was owed. I called corporate and they confirmed a 0 balance for my self and could see a card on file. I witnessed her do the same thing to 3 other guest in the short time at the front desk, all for the same dollars amount, $29/tax. If you have been scammed like this here please let corporate know!
