You can't go wrong with Nuvole. Top notch food, drinks, views and staff. I have been a regular here for months and have yet to have one bad experience. The drink menu changes regularly, and so does the food. Some of the best cocktails in CLT with some of the best food too. The view is stunning and the staff is always professional, nice, and courteous. Add it all up and you get one incredible place. I absolutely love Nuvole and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice night out. They do an excellent job of ensuring the atmosphere is always fun and lively but far from obnoxious or overcrowded. Great for date nights, birthdays, family events, really anything. I would like to point out that this is a very popular and sought after spot in CLT. A lot of 1 or 2 star reviews have highlighted the wait times on weekend nights but that is something that is common at all restaurants/bars/clubs in any major city on a weekend night. Not just Nuvole so please take that in to consideration. However, if you do come earlier (~5-6pm) there is rarely a wait even on the weekends and you will get ample time to enjoy the views and sunset.

Great view of the skyline in the evenings. I sat outside and with a good breeze it was comfortable even at 89 degrees outside. I started with the MEDITERRANEAN SPREAD and it was wonderful. The portions were perfect and the spreads and accompanying items were perfect. I continued with the THAI RUB PORK BELLY. The presentation was great and the belly perfectly seared. The boy choy was good but one piece was probably a little bigger and therefore a little more firm than would seem ideal. It overall a great bite. I finished with the WAGYU BEEF SLIDERS. These were a bit of a disappointment, the bun was generic and the beef itself was over salted. It was a shame to cover the natural flavor in a sea of salt. My server was new, third day but did well overall. I’d say training on a few of the finer points and service and she will do very well. But she was friendly, attentive, and did an overall good job. FYI, if you aren’t staying in the hotel you need to stop by the hotel lobby on the fifth floor to get access to the roof top restaurant. I’d say this place is definitely worth a stop for the view and a small bite in the evening.

This was a incredible place ! I highly recommend you come as date night or in a group . The view is out of this world. There is several ways you can park, on the road or in a parking garage or next door but 25$is the fee for the parking garage . We went on a Saturday night around 6:30-7 and there was no line at the elevator or was it crowded inside. The inside lounge is very comfortable and has heat to keep warm if you prefer to be inside verses the patio. The grilled cheese I highly recommend and the wings was delicious . There cheesecake was very good . We spent about 160$ for 4 drinks and 3 appetizers. Now it does say restaurant but there’s not a big menu on food this is mostly a drinking lounge with appetizers. Very relaxing environment . The later you arrive the more people there are , mostly college crowd .

This spot is just a serious vibe. Grab your friends and your wallet. Definitely carpool and park inside the hotel next door. And pull up at least an hour before sunset so you get to capture great memories. The food selection is limited and the drinks are not cheap. Probably my favorite place to hangout in the Queen City because I adore a good rooftop scene.

Pros: nice views of the city, decent cocktail. I had the death from below. Good vibe and music. Cons: the staff are quite slow, even though we were there on a Wednesday, and it was very quiet with 5 bar staff they were extremely slow to make us one cocktail and a glass of wine. The prices are also higher than I believe is justified. They add 20% gratuity for 'your convenience', so I guess the staff don't need to try hard. Overall, its OK for a visit but I wouldn't come back.

OMG! What an experience! The wife and I took a quick weekend trip to CLT and wanted to do a rooftop bar after dinner. We stumbled across this bar and it was definitely an amazing experience. If you visit CLT, please treat yourself to this experience. SN: this is an upscale bar therefore most of the drinks you get a standard bar they probably don't make, ie. Walk Me Down or Liquid Marijuana, however, they aim to please with whatever your taste. They made us something sweet and it was delicious 😋

Reservations are recommended. The vibe was nice (music, lights, atmosphere, layout). After being seated we had to go tell the hostess we needed a server because they never came. Finally came after about 15-20 mins after that. I ordered the pork belly which comes with gnocchi. It was good. My best friend ordered wings. She said they were pretty good. The strawberry margarita was tasty. I ordered a drink called Gold Rush, it was good and it will get you right! I won’t go back but it’s at least worth checking out.

Stunning views, great food and drinks, and a wonderfully accommodating staff that truly cares about their guests! We had such a great time here! Will be back soon!

I came here 3 weekends ago. I had their fish tacos, wings, and their fries, all of which were amazing. I also had a whiskey, sour and my second drink with something the waitress recommended me and I loved it. I wish I remembered the name of it! It was a berry drink with whiskey something I normally wouldn’t try on my own, but it was pleasant. The views were amazing of course but it was still fairly chilly so we made our way towards the inside. I highly recommend this location for a first date or a girls get together.

Decided to try this rooftop restaurant on a Saturday before we met up with some friends. This rooftop has an AMAZING view of the city. Depending on which side you sit at, you get different views of the city. This is defibetly a nice photo op location. It felt very relaxing just sitting down and staring out to the city. The place has a great ambiance and a very open vibe. They do have a DJ and offer table or lounge seating available. They do offer tapas style food, so if you're really hungry, this place would not be a good choice unless you order multiple selections. Everyone was super friendly and our waitress was very nice as well. We ordered the tuna nachos, which were delicious, the Garden Flatbread, which was delicious as well, and the parmesan fries. They were delicious as the fried were crispy but not too hard, which made them the best tasting fries ever! This is located in uptown on top of the AC hotel, so unless you valet, you will have to pay for parking at a location nearby. Definetly will be returning.

Rooftop has a great view of the city! It says this place is in the Epicenter, so we parked in their garage but it was quite confusing as to where to go to get to Nuvole—turns out, it’s in the AC Hotel by Marriott. Nuvole host told us that AC Hotel would validate our parking ticket, but we got some attitude downstairs that they don’t, but would make an exception—so that was confusing too. Came here Saturday early evening without a reservation and the bouncer/check-in man was not very friendly toward my friends and I—but still allowed us to go upstairs after we insisted on only staying for 1 drink. Once upstairs, we noticed how there were plenty of empty tables and chairs (since it was still early) so I’m not sure what the issue was! We sat in the bar lounge area. Drink service was good and the drinks were okay—pricing was reasonable. We were able to step outside on the patio to take some nice photos.

Had A Great Time Here. The Rooftop Views Are Amazing. I Had The Birria Grilled Cheese And The Rosemary Truffle Fries. The Food Was Very Good, Only Thing For Mẹ Is I Personally Didn’t Like The Broth. It Seemed Bland But The Sauce That Comes With The Fries Makes Up For It. The Food Price Is Pretty High So Expect To Pay No Less Than $15 For An Item Truthfully.

I had a great time at Nuvole 22. Nathan was so accommodating and kind. He was always readily available and professional to my group. I celebrated my birthday here and enjoyed the ambiance, the breathtaking view, food and drinks. The only reason why I gave my experience 4 stars was due to the wait time for my drinks. Even when it wasn't busy and the place wasn't crowded the wait time was significantly long. Otherwise I HIGHLY recommend this location for a night out or a celebratory occasion. You'll thank me later.

Small amounts and very high prices, while tasty. The view is cool but can be windy. Service was excellent. I'd recommend the steak pizza and the tuna nachos

This was my very first time to visit Nuvole, and it was impressive in SO many ways. They could rather easily let some things slide because of the great view and vibe, but they add superb friendly service at the bar to make it a true totally positive experience. My bar server Liz M was extremely welcoming and attentive. Thanks!

Came in tonight for the very first time with high hopes… I was not disappointed at all!! My server Mary Kate was on point in every way possible. She knew how to describe each entree and I went with her recommendation. The lemon pepper wings were easily some of the best I’ve had in Charlotte, perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly how l like crispy. Her second choice was the tuna nachos and they may have been even better than the wings if that’s possible. Super fresh toppings and everything worked together great. 9.7/10 rating I encourage everyone to give it a try.

The only thing reasons for four stars was the open air seating. I would have liked a choice of sitting inside or outside, especially when there were empty tables. With a tip the hostess was able to accommodate our party of four. The DJ was great on 2/12.

What a perfect place to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday!! The small plates were absolutely amazing!! We had our own sofa close to the edge of the balcony that was absolutely perfect. Cannot say enough great things about the evening!!

Beautiful view, great spot with fireplace. Whiskey sour is great, food is ok. Wouldn't recommend seviche with cucumber. It reminds me of house salad with seafood. Big pieces and unexpected ingredients. Octopus was overcooked, so we asked to redo it. Tuna nachos was ok. This place is all about view and location.

Went here for a drink one night. Great views and service. Drinks were good and a nice relaxing atmosphere to just hang out and talk.
