We stayed recently and if this is considered a 3 star hotel, I’m scared of anything rated less. Bathroom exhaust fans appeared to be connected to a circular light in bathroom ceiling that didn’t work in either of the rooms my party had. Tubs were stained, towels were like sand paper, mattresses were 5 years past usefulness and while pillows were feather filled they were past their usefulness like the mattress. A/C worked well. Most of front desk staff were friendly. One man named Ken or Kevin was so surly and rude I’m not sure why he’s allowed to keep his job; I spoke to him twice on phone before arriving and was told they could not accommodate my request for adjoining rooms b/c they were booked 100%. Upon arrival, Ben (I believe) was super helpful and was able to give us adjoining rooms. Location is convenient, breakfast appeared to be the usual “continental” fair. If you have to check out before 6 am know the front desk will be abandoned and you’ll have to use a side exit which appeared to be unlocked so hotel security is sketchy at best.

Location is good. Near several restaurants and shopping mall as well as easy access to I77 and 485. Rooms are not good. Musty smell. Wet carpets near the AC units. I've stayed twice and had the same experience. At least on the 2nd stay, the AC worked. On the first stay the AC unit was not working. Worst thing about this facility is the staff. I mentioned I stayed 2xs. The only person that had a smile or friendly comment was one of the housekeepers. And what makes this a place I'll never return to is the front desk staff. My Marriott app stated one price and they charged me a different price even after I discussed it with them at the counter. It took me 3 different calls and multiple emails to get this corrected. The issue was finally corrected by Marriott corporate, not the Sheraton in Pineville. They dug in their heels and refused to admit when they were obviously wrong. Don't bother with this property. There are other Marriott properties in the area just a few minutes away that are WAY better. I'll never stay at this hotel again.

I've frequented hotels for over 25 years and never experienced this before... the light blocking curtains are intentionally installed in such a manner that you cannot close them. As others have complained, the beds are uncomfortably firm. Then, the TV service went out just before 1AM for approximately 20 minutes. I doubt I'll ever stay here again.

The hotel is very dated. Could use a makeover. The beds are squeaky and not as comfortable. The location is.good and the service was great. Just really needs updated bad.

The internet is terrible. Never more than 5mb download speeds, less than 1 most of the time. I called front desk about it, and despite advertising high speed internet, they apparently don't offer it. Don't plan on getting any work done on a laptop without having a mobile hotspot. Kind of wild to have such slow internet at this kind of hotel these days. Also, check your shower, mine only stayed hot for about a minute before running cold for a few minutes, and kept repeating this cycle. After working in 100 degree heat all day, the cold water was pretty shocking

Great customer service but the room was musty and the air conditioner didn’t work well. It’s very outdated with knob controls. There isn’t a way to set and see what the temperature is. Bed is very outdated and uncomfortable. Felt like I was laying directly on the springs. A pool is advertised but was closed because of inspection. Won’t be staying here again.

The people were lovely, but the hotel is old and dated. Badly in need of a refresh. Bed are uncomfortable, no dark curtians, so parking lot lights are disruptive.

This was very convenient to the fields my game were being played on. I enjoyed the easy check in, free breakfast, and convenience of everything near me. The rooms are very spacious and pretty clean. I enjoyed that it has a extra couch for sitting and no one has to sit in the bed while watching TV. Hotel also includes a pool!

Business room is spacious, desk has everything I needed. Very well located in Pineville. Quite quiet. You cannot open the window thus no way to get some fresh air. Bed is terrible, still a mattress with springs, I though that was from XIX century, very uncomfortable for me. If you suffer from low back pain, somewhere else. I found some dead bugs in my room. Fridge is pretty noise although you can switch it off. There is no laundry service

Clean and accomodating. Jasmine was a pleasure to interact with. Pleasant, informative, even at 640 am, near the end of her shift. Had room on 3rd floor. Room and hallways clean, no oder. Breakfast typical, good. Very quiet rest, slept well. AC was a little difficult - wanted room cold, but it kept resetting to 72°. Not hot, but definitely not as cold as I like it. Shower had barely any water pressure. Coffee in room, 2 coffee station downstairs. Overall though, great value for 1 night stay. Although, not a fan of the $50 hold on my credit card.

Front desk, housekeeping and the breakfast attendant did fantastic. Bed was a little hard for my taste. But overall a great hotel experience.

I would like to comment on mine and my wife’s experience. First off, I work on the road so I spend most of my time at hotels. That being said we don’t appreciate rouge housekeeper creeping into our room and going through our belongings. Nothing was taken but definitely pilfered through. Not cool at all. The so called Night Manager should be demoted or fired for the way he treated my wife this morning. We had stayed for a week and on the last day of our stay(today) I left to go to work in the morning. I received a phone call from the front desk with my wife crying begging me to come back. Apparently she locked herself out of the room and when she requested a duplicate key the so called night manager refused to accomadate her citing hotel policy. My wife was in her pajamas humiliated by this man. Our clothes, cel phone and medications were in the room. She was forced to contact me and I had to turn around and come back so that he could make me a duplicate key so that I could let her back in the room. By the time everything was said and done my wife had soiled herself in the lobby because she was not allowed to use a restroom and to top it off he threatened to have her removed from the premises by the police. Real piece of work. Never again will I stay at a four point nor will I ever recommend anyone to stay.

Nice hotel for the price. Decent and safe location. Rooms and lobby are clean and maintained pretty well. My only complaint is that the front desk staff here aren't very welcoming and the night guy was down right rude and disrespectful when I called and needed the WiFi password and then asked if they had any plastic silverware because the restaurant I ordered takeout from had forgot to put any in my bag. Other than that I would stay here again for sure.

Dude what is this? This place is an enormous disappointment from the perspective of a regular Marriott user. For this price I could have stayed at the Fairfield Inn down the street (another Marriott property) and had a much better experience. The hotel is very small, everything feels old, I'm sitting here watching basic cable when at the Fairfield you get all the streaming services, the bar area has apparently been closed for years so don't get your hopes up there, the breakfast area is abysmal to the point that I'm not even going to try that. There's garbage just sitting out. Very unhappy with this place and I'll be contacting my Marriott rep about it. If I didn't have to be here I'd leave. I cannot believe all the good reviews this place is getting I think they must be fake.

We stayed here this past week and let me just saw I was disappointed. First our room had a fan blowing loud all night I guess to fry the carpet. Second the worst WiFi ever. Third me and my husband got stuck in the elevator 3 times and once we address it nothing happen. We checked out at 530am and the coffee was cold and we asked Herman I think was his name he said I’ll make some shortly. My husband call the hotel to talk to Manager and still no response.

Right next to mall & restaurants with easy access to the Charlotte area and Carowinds. Rooms are just fine, clean, etc. Very pleasant staff and free breakfast are nice adds.

We have stayed here multiple times for soccer tournaments. The rooms feel big and spacious, always clean, helpful staff.

Great hotel overall. Quiet for the most part. Rooms and hallways were clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. You can buy snacks and drinks in the lobby. Complimentary breakfast is served each morning and it was pretty good with a nice selection. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was great, but Herman at the front desk was 10/10. Super nice, obviously cares about doing a good job, definitely made our check in experience way better than usual.

Hotel was ok. Room was nice only had two sets of towels in the room. And we had double the people for that. Ac went out at 4am and i couldn’t get anyone on the phone to help. Didn’t want to wake the kids but it was a miserable few hours til check out! The night worker was a sweetheart though.

Great stay! We loved the lobby area, room was great and quiet even though we were on the 1st floor. Large bathroom with nice shower head and water flow. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
