Pros: The front desk staff were friendly, responsive, and welcoming. Room appeared alright amount of clean. Breakfast was free and for a hotel they had a good selection. Hotel felt safe. Cons: This hotel is very dated. The room we got was dark and had multiple broken lamp shades and scuffed up furniture. Overall: Would not stay here again. Not worth the money we paid.

You get what you pay for. I chose this hotel because I needed a well priced room for my family and myself 5 in total. The staff was great super helpful and nice the room needed some work. The pictures on the wall have mold in them from condensation. There was a large black smashed spot on the wall near the ceiling that I think may have been a big that was crushed. No fan in the bathroom. The pullout couch that was needed had no sheets or blankets. The comforter on one of the beds was dirty. There was no remote for the TV so we were not able to use it. They seemed to have changed the pillows too because they were super small. As I was leaving I did notice where the carpet and floor met is held together by hot glue. The breakfast was good, and waffles my kids loved. Again I will stress the staff was great we visited the desk multiple times due to some of the items listed. They were very friendly and accommodating. The wifi worked great. With 3 kids in multiple devices no complaints.

Starting with customer service, this place could use some upgrades. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool (loud kids noisy well into the night). Both elevators were broken so you have to carry your luggage up and down several flights of stairs. The pillows are so small and lumpy, they weren't even the size of half of a regular pillow. Housekeeping must have stopped in our room and grabbed the dirty towels but didn't restock with any towels at all, and didn't even make the bed! The clientele here was trashy and I was woken at 3am with a woman banging hard on a nearby door and screaming profanities. Then heard her young son in the hallway crying and pleading that "it wasn't him him". Nice at 3am. I asked to speak to the hotel manager several times over our stay and she was never there. Maybe if they had a manager who actually worked in the hotel, they wouldn't have so many issues. No working elevator is a huge problem when your sending people to stay several flights up with heavy luggage. I told the guy at the front counter and his response was "I understand". What kind of resolution is that?!

I could not stay here due to the mold. It was awful. I have severe allergies and asthma. I smelled it as soon as I entered the room. I moved to another room on a different floor and it was in there as well. The room looked clean, but the mold was in the carpet and in the heater. It's unfortunate because I booked it on Hotwire and couldn't get a refund.

In short, stay somewhere else regardless!!! There are other options and much better with the price you paid for this one. If thereā€™s negative star, I will give negative 5 to the disgusting hallway, room and bathroom. As soon as we enter the hotel entry, the light is very dimmed and thereā€™s a strong cigarette smell. The cigarette smell got stronger as we got to floor three. Thereā€™s no cigarette smell in the room but we were suffocated by an unnamed odor throughout the entire room. What was worse - the windows in the room cannot be opened!!! Luckily we later switched to a room on level 4, and thereā€™s less cigarette smell, but the same odor in the room is there. The odor comes from the sofa and lounge chair, and it just stayed all night. The bathroom is tiny, floor is super dirty. The bathtub is better, at least it looked clean. Again, you have many options, stay somewhere else unless you want to be suffocated with unnamed odor.

Do not go there. Some of the staff were really rude (not all though) and the hotel is not great looking. We had a water leak right in front of our hotel room. We went to the front desk to explain the situation, the employee at the counter (old man, blue shirt, always there at night) started to have an attitude because we requested a new room. He said that we should have had made the request during the day (as if we were the ones who made the water leak happen lol). He didnā€™t even take the time to see it for himself. If he is that upset with customer service, he should consider working somewhere else. Furthermore, the amenities that they offer are truly not that great. There is no air ventilation in the bathroom, which makes the entire room feels musty and humid after some time.

It's really not worth almost $150-$200 a night but I paid it because I was there. Elevator is broke every other week. The room doesn't stay cool. The ac unit is old. There's black mold in the bathroom. The straw that broke the camels back was when I saw roaches climbing near the coffee maker and sink. Then they were crawling up the walls near the desk and ac unit. Stayed there for a month due to our house being renovated.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. This location is near plenty of eateries and shopping. There's 2 reasons why I don't give it a 4 star rating; 1: The bed was very firm, and a softer mattress is essential. 2: No fitness center. I had to go to Planet Fitness, which wasn't too far away, just would've been nice to not have to leave the hotel for that.

It's fine, as an airline-provided room on a diversion. The bed was good (much better than an airport bench), and the lukewarm shower was better than none. Everything in the room is dated and warn, especially in the bathroom. I eventually convinced the toilet to stop running by lifting the lid (finding mold) and fussing with the fill valve.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for an entire month, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel offers a safe and cozy atmosphere, complete with friendly staff who made me feel at home. The breakfast was decent, and what I truly loved was the view from my room on the 5th floor.

Let me start by saying, the front desk staff was great. All the employees were wonderful. The owners, who I contacted about my issues and problems, I wouldn't know, as they won't respond to me. So, the night I stayed, there was a large police presence. Apparently another domestic dispute that left the hallways with commotion and noise. The room I stayed in looked ok at first, but was rather dirty. Bright cereal still on the floor that would be difficult for a cleaner to miss. The smoke detector was falling off the wall and I was awoken by it making chirping noises. The remote was held together with cheap tape and worst of all were the bugs. The sink area had many tiny bugs all around it. and the next day I noticed even larger ones going in and out of the wall electrical outlet. We checked in pretty late and I figured switching to another room would just be more of the same and I just wanted some rest. Looking out the window, the pool was just disgusting. Yeah, it may be the off season, but seriously. Keep it clean!

We initially changed our hotel to this location due to hearing the other hotel was not the best. After we booked this hotel we made the mistake of reading some of the reviews. We read about roaches, drug smells, old hotels, weird individuals and more. Upon arriving, the hotel is certainly not lavish, but its affordable. The hallways smell like drugs, its dark and humid. We were fortunate enough to not have any bugs in our room, but lights did not work. There was loose change and childrens toys under the furniture. The room smelt odd, so we bought air fresheners from Target. We inspected the bed, and the mattress was heavily stained, and its extremely uncomfortable. The matress topper was fine, but the bedsheets had ink stains, and tiny holes throughout it. We ended up buying bed sheets from Target to feel comfortable. The bathroom was alright, the shower had rust on the floor and had stains, the shower head was gross, and the towels had stains and marks on it, so again, we went to Target to buy 1 towel to use for our stay. We also had a guest with us that was going to use the pull out mattress, but the metal frame was rusted onto the mattress itself, and we didnt even want to pull it out fully to see the monster inside of it. So we just gave a spare bedsheet to cover the bed itself. Altough we did not use the pool, it is a foul looking green and people let their kids swim in it. There were intoxicated people stumbling through the parking lot. We did not feel safe entering or exiting the hotel. Location got two stars because it is 15 minutes out of Charlotte, but really should be 1 because it does not feel safe. Service recieved 1 star because nothing was maintained or upkept, housekeeping clearly did not clean, maintenance did not maintain. The woman at the front desk was kind, but the hotel was not. If you have family, and can spare the extra $60 a night, just do it. If you are desperate, the Walmart parking lot is free. Use this information as you'd like.

My partner and I stayed here on a ā€œStaycationā€ as weā€™re from the Charlotte area but wanted a night away from home. I was content with my time here. This is a nice, clean, simple hotel, nothing fancy. Everything looked like the pictures. TV, AC, Fridge, etc. worked. Its in a good area, I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. No sketchy people hanging around. There were families staying and couples, from what I saw, but the hotel wasnā€™t loud or chaotic. This hotel was right off the highway giving us easy access to any of the locations we wanted to go to. There was lots of restaurants, gas stations and shopping centers in close proximity to us. Only had brief interactions with staff but they were nice.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of their way to give me local information and even remade my room key when I made the fatal mistake of accidentally putting it near my phone. Breakfast was well-stocked and well-attended- there was a large group already downstairs when I got there and I didnā€™t have to wait for any food.

This hotel is good and all... but you guys have a roach problem, for real. I'm also pretty sure your pipes are rotting or going bad, I heard them leaking and pouring water in the walls. Might wanna check that out before they burst. Service and workers are good though.

The hotel rooms were clean, but the people that stayed their were not. A homeless lady came in there for the free breakfast. The hotel staff didn't put her out. I didn't say anything either. The hotel smelled like weed in the hallways. I will not be back to this place. Hotel staff was friendly. The sofa bed mattress was dirty and ripped. I did get another room.

This hotel has it all for the average person. It's is in a great location for shopping and dining and easy to find. Inside is clean and modern. The staff has been very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The regular room is a nice sized suite with separate seating area and has a wet bar. I will say that I found the mattress to feel s little worn out and not super comfy but it is a hotel and I like a very firm mattress. The breakfast had all the usual stuff and fresh made waffles available. I actually decided to stay another night I was enjoying my stay so much. All in all it's a great value as it's probably the most reasonably priced hotel in the area for everything you get. Thanks for all the hospitality

Large rooms at a fair price, under 100 nightly. Beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, and the location was good for our needs with plenty of restaurants nearby. Would have appreciated more than 2 towels for 2 people for 3 nights, but the front desk got us some when we asked. The elevator was out for 2 of the 4 days we were there, but there is a 2nd one at the end of the hallway.

Clean rooms & friendly staff. The Irish woman who works the front desk is super friendly & all around great personality. Putting up with our shenanigans for 2 days. We'll go back just to see that lovely woman!

Hotel lobby elevator not working, and that really does suck. Front desk staff didn't smile once in my whole stay, makes it almost non-welcoming. Vending machines were old and not well kept up. Doors to the stairwells look like people tried to break in. Rooms were old, but had the amenities as advertised, microwave, fridge, sink, etc. Lady at breakfast is nice, but almost stares you down. You can't make waffles without her, which isn't cool. Location is prime! It's 3/5 (but I mean 2.5) instead of 1/5 because in the end, yes for the average person, you will get what is advertised, what you're paying for, and the location is great. Shopping, food, and highway are right there.

The hotel was nice overall. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and up-to-date. It's located within walking distance from various restaurants and places to shop. It's also right off the highway, making it easy to locate. Pricing is comparable to other hotels in the area. My only complaint would be the size and layout of the bathroom: you have to navigate around the toilet to close the door.

The hotel rooms were neat and clean. They provided all the required amenities with the rooms like a mini refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, television, writing desk, chair and sofa set, and last but not least an extra pillow, and blanket. Also, they served complimentary American breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was really delicious and there were 7 to 8 dishes in the breakfast. I really like the place and like to stay again. I like to thank all the staff to take very good care of their customers.

Comfort suites is always a good choice. Very consistent, clean, and friendly staff. Their app is second to none as I have used three others. The map feature is excellent and with my credit card preloaded it's easy to make a reservation on the fly when you're not sure where you'll be the next night.

The location was easy to access and the check in process was friendly and quick. Not much air traffic noise even though the airport wasn't too far away. Did have kids running through the halls, but there isn't much that can be done about that. The mattresses on the beds were pretty firm, but the quality of the mattress on the pull out sofa was in serious need of attention though.

I chose this place because of the reviews of it being clean...and it was for the MOST part. There were two roaches that appeared one in the bathroom and one that must have come up through the drain on the little kitchen sink island. My room was fairly clean. The staff was really nice. The bathroom was REALLY a tight area. But other than that everything worked, hallways were clean, and the area where the hotel sits is nice. Close to everything. I could walk to shops. This is my honest review.

No complaints! My room was very clean. Air conditioning was working great. Front desk agent was super helpful, polite and very friendly. This location is right off I-485 near everything you need. Pool and full breakfast. And the best perk...AFFORDABLE! No noise from outside was super nice.

This place is OK. There is some room for improvement. We booked a room for six people. The check in time was 3pm. We arrived at around 10pm and the room wasnā€™t ready. I mean two beds for 4 people were ready and pull out sofa wasnā€™t, there was no extra pillows, clean sheets, blankets available in the closet. I called front desk twice to ask for bedding for pull out sofaā€”no answer. I called housekeeping twice- no answer. I walked downstairs to the front desk myself and requested missing items. They told me that itā€™s supposed to be in the closet but it wasnā€™t. This place could definitely use better management. Breakfast was niceā€” for that Iā€™m grateful to them. The lady that was serving breakfast was friendly and made sure that tables are properly cleaned and entire breakfast area is tidy. Even tho it was very busy.

The staff at this property are phenomenal. I appreciate the kindness they showed me. Especially in a very difficult time in my children and myselfs life. Ms Roxanne and Mr. Jeffrey were some of the best host. They work well together and are very kind. I just want to say thank you to everyone at this property.
