Very nice, basic Marriott. Perfect for a quick stay in the area. Minutes away from large music and sports venues. Stay was very quiet and peaceful. Bar/food open for a limited amount of time. In a safe area and close to several other hotels and restaurants.

Was a decent stay but will definitely stay somewhere else next time especially for the price we paid it would’ve been worth it to pay $100 more and stay at the Embassy Suites. There’s no point in having a virtual key if they don’t work. The bed was miserably hard and I mean ROCK hard. None of the power outlets next to the bed could even hold a charger in them. We had to plug in our phones across the room. The Hot tub was shut down and indoor pool wasn’t heated and was ice cold. I asked in the app to have extra towels and we were only given your normal amount of four. The shower retains water in the bottom as well as when you’re showering the water comes up to your ankles due to it draining so slowly. The conditioner in the shower was also empty so I was glad we brought ours from home. As soon as we arrived I let the front desk know I had checked in virtually. They said NOTHING about the virtual key not working until you checked in with them. So after going all the way to our room just to find out our key didn’t work and then even after it never worked our entire stay. The TV & remote seems to be from the early 2010s. Spectrum Tv with less than 15 channels & you have to flip individually b/c there is no availability guide and the tv remote doesn’t allow you to punch in more than one number at a time. Good things - clean room & great breakfast.

Everyone was really pleasant and friendly when I was checking in. But the shower water was cold, even though I had the dial turned all the way to hot. The pillows were completely flat. The breakfast staff was rude to the point that it made me cry. The chat on the app had a 12 hour response time. My fridge was broken and stunk, but they did fix it after my chat was answered. A week later my deposit still hasn't cleared from my bank account. I wish the rooms had their own microwave. It is very close to everything though.

My husband stayed in Marriott properties for 85 nights last year. To say we are loyal is an under statement. We were traveling to Williamsburg and DC from Auburn, AL and Concord was a perfect stopping point. We checked in and I got to the room. The window covering was missing a panel. We were facing the parking lot and could not completely cover the window. I called to the front desk and asked for someone to come fix it. I was told they didn't have anyone to do that. I said ok, can you move us to another room. They said fine. I went up and checked the new room before we brought 9 days of luggage for 4 people up. The AC would not turn on. I went back downstairs and said the air wouldn't work and to put us back in the original room and we expected it to be comped because we were now about 45 minutes into this goat rodeo and still were going to be in a room where people could see in. No one apologized, no one acted interested, no one offered to help in any way other than to say those rooms were our only choices and they could give us $50 off. We asked to speak to the GM. She had to walk from an adjacent property. She got there and again no apology, we were told we could move next door at 10pm in the pouring rain or if comping the room would make us happy she would do that. We said fine. We get upstairs and completely settled. The phone rings and someone begins yelling that they had video and the window was covered and the AC in the other room works. I asked who I was speaking with. They would not identify themselves and continued to yell that we had lied to get a free room. I asked her to come look at what we were talking about and she refused. I asked again who I was speaking with and they finally said the manager. I asked if it was the GM or the front desk manager and they said "the manager". I finally asked if I was speaking to the Caucasian lady or the African American Lady. She then said she knew this was about race and that she would not comp the room for a racist. My husband goes to the lobby to try and figure out what in the world was going on. The person who had called me a liar and a racist was the Caucasian GM and she had called the police. They told my husband if we stayed we would pay for the room. He said fine he would take it up with Marriott corporate. He returned to the room where we discovered we had 2 sets of towels for 4 people and the TV didn't work. Because the GM was so unreasonable we didn't even ask for more towels. My husband has traveled for work for 35 years and I have traveled for work for 25 years and have always been loyal to Marriott. This is by far the worst experience we have either encountered ever. I would not recommend this property to anyone for any reason.

the staff was incredibly understanding and helpful so that is one positive i got out of this experience, but upon entering my room it smelled absolutely awful. the sheets had weird stains on them and the “mini fridge” they advertise each room having is actually a cooler that is burning and apparently only cools your food for a time limit of an hour! overall i do not recommend and i will never stay there again. there isn’t even free breakfast in the mornings.

Excellent front desk host, lobby was clean and well kept. Unfortunately my experience shows that the rooms aren't as much. I checked in to my first room and the HVAC system was completely inoperable, front desk host informed me that they did repairs earlier in the week but it must have not been fixed. I was then told the only other room had an emergency cleaning done that day so it would smell like cleaning chemicals (not ideal but better than being hot all night.) This room also was lacking for repairs. The tub was completely clogged, the power plugs next to the bed did not work (tried all of them), the fridge did not get cold causing my food to go bad. These were all major concerns but as everything else in town was booked already I stayed. There were also minor things that don't bother me but somehow the hotel being in a state of disrepair (bathroom exhaust fan hanging down, hard water buildup and mild mold in the shower, floors not being vacuumed.

First was greeted nicely by the front desk. That was nice but when we got to the third floor, it was super hot. The room felt like it had been shut up for months with no air flow. It felt muggy and damp. The air struggled to keep up. The refrigerator was not cold. Barely room temp. The bathroom was super dim, and felt outdated. I should have read the reviews. They really need to do some maintenance. The room In general smelled like mold. Lastly, we didn’t go swimming because the chlorine smell about knocked you out when you opened the door. There was no air flow out of the pool area. I would shop around if I was you.

I have NEVER had such a bad experience with staff at a hotel! I stayed at this hotel on the night of 4/2/2022 after a missed airline connection. Because it was the fault of the airline, they gave me a voucher to stay at this hotel and after a LONG day of travel fatigue and standing in lines with other passengers, I dropped in to bed exhausted at midnight. Slept in the next am, did my meditation and yoga, then caught a taxi to the airport for a rescheduled flight home. Arrived home and noticed a few days later that there was a $500 charge to my credit card. I called the hotel to inquire and the man at the front desk (wish I would have gotten his name!!) rudely informed me that I had violated the non-smoking policy and referred to the form I signed when I checked in. He said that because I was smoking in the room, they had charged my account. I told him that I do not smoke, never have and that this was ABSOLUTELY not the case!! Still, he insisted that I had smoked in the room and said that "staff" had smelled the smoke! I was incredulous at his insistence and his accusatory stance!! I then inquired of him about their "policy" and asked how it is that I was never even informed of this accusation, but rather there was simply a charge to my credit card. NEVER did he back down, apologize, or concede that, at a MINIMUM, a customer should be informed if there was an accusation made against him/her!!! There was NO WAY I was going to allow this mistreatment and I told him so. I was prepared to speak with an attorney if it came to that. I was so angry at this man's utter lack of respect for a customer! Ultimately, he agreed (VERY reluctantly!!) to credit the $500 back to my card but not once did he apologize nor back down on his insistence that I had been smoking and that the hotel had a "right" to charge me without even so much as a notification!! AND, another aside-- the hair dryer in the room did not work, the bathroom was not as clean as I would have expected and there was no lotion made available as one might expect. I don't usually leave reviews and I certainly wouldn't have to make an issue about the state of the room itself but I am appalled by the way I was treated. I would like to believe that not all their staff is this rude and with such poor customer service acumen and/but I will NEVER choose to stay at a Courtyard by Marriot again!!

Had a great stay for work! I stayed 2 nights and the hotel is very clean ND the room I had was awesome! My coworker did ask for more towels, toilet paper and for them to check the fridge because it stank but no one came all day. Otherwise everything else was great!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our visit this past weekend. The front desk team was always happy to help and our room was clean. What we were most impressed about was that we left a very expensive item in our room. The housekeeping team notified the front desk, who promptly emailed me to let me know and together, we coordinated the mailing of the item back to us. They were extremely helpful and we couldn't be more appreciative of the service they provided to us. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

On breakfast and other food option was provided for fee which was very expensive so we went out to eat. There is a poor quality TV remote that does not take you to a particular station by number, bathroom drain was slow. I did mention to the front desk when leaving and she said they'd check it out. Thermostats wasn't working quite right either. Hard to get a good temperature in room

Great Hotel, kind staff, and clean! Enjoyed my stay while visiting my mom for a surprise birthday visit. Also we went to the Queen City Corvette show and Toured Hendrick Motor. Charlotte seems like a great city.

The housekeeping staff was extremely nice, and most of the desk staff were helpful... but not all of them. One desk person watched me standing at the bistro trying to find some coffee, and I thought she was calling the kitchen to come out... several minutes later, the housekeeper saw me and informed me the bistro was actually closed. I honestly assumed the desk staff would have let me know that instead of watching me while on their cell phone... So, while the stay accomplished what it needed, this courtyard falls sorry if many other Marriott properties I've visited (I have over 400 lifetime night's at Marriott properties)

The mattress in Room 220 was terrible. You're basically sleeping on the coils and the mattress is collapsing inward. Checked in late due to flight delay and didn't try the mattress until midnight. Called the front desk and they have one person working who initially disconnected the call and didn't call back. Called a second time and was told I can grab all my belongings and move to another room after grabbing a new card from the lobby. Decided to suffer through the night rather than move at 1am to another room may not be any better. If you value your sleep, avoid this place and I'm a marriott loyalist.

I have to say the greatest asset to this hotel is the staff, they are wonderful. However the room is not what I consider to be the standard for Marriott. They need to be updated. Lastly, I have never been to any hotel that doesn't offer some form of breakfast for free. When I get up in the morning, I want to relax. Not go somewhere to find something to eat

Great customer service, as they accommodated our early check in request. Location was close to zmax but not the most convenient walk as there are no sidewalks. Room was nice and clean, shower did not drain well. Service in the bistro was fast and friendly. Would stay here again.

Comfortable stay! Would have liked to see some complimentary coffee in the lobby. Rooms were clean and well appointed. No problems, no fuss, easy access to highway shopping and restaurants.

Great rooms and excellent staff, not a large place when it comes to the lobby but pretty well run. I did notice that there were several times the front desk was unattended but the staff was still excellent.

I stay at Marriott all across the nation. Very disappointed by this location. Generally Marriott holds a standard you can count on. Very dirty comforter has make up stains, hair dryer had gum stuck to it. Hall smelled like smoke. Wouldn’t advise staying

Went down to visit a friend the front desk and lobby area were nice but my room left much to be desired. I had to switch rooms because there was a dead roach in my bed and the end table was terribly burnt. The front desk was accommodating however I didn't trust anything in that place after that.

I went here overnight April 6th (checked out on April 7th) to take a break from being in Newnan Georgia. For the price I paid here, it was a fair deal (and much better than the Home2Suites near I-77). The bistro/bar food is good, although expensive given the portion sizes. The staff (both day and night) were nice. And the pool was also enjoyable (and was surprisingly warmer than the hot tub). My only complaint with this hotel is that the mattress was too hard on my back, and I had to sleep on the sofa. This might be a result of me being used to sleeping on a Casper Element and the fact that one of the staff when I checked out said that the mattresses being used there were getting old and might be replaced soon.

This hotel meets every expectation of what I thought it would be. Every portion of the hotel was clean and not single thing out of place. The service was friendly, easy-going, and over five (5) 🌟 I can recommend this location with confidence.

Was out of town for work for a week. Called the front desk to make sure there was a late check-in. Told them of my time of arrival. They said no problem, they will be opened. Arrived well within the time told, and no one was in the office to let me in and / or check me in. Ended up sleeping in the car at the hotel. That next morning, all that was said was Ooo sorry. TV remote didn't work half the time along with the main bathroom light. Mini-fridge didn't work at all. Stains on the carpet and furniture. Don't stay here.

Fairly standard multi-story Courtyard. TV's are bit older but great channel selection. No safe in my room. Staff seemed friendly during my few interactions. Very close to the Concord Mills shopping and Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Good location, the rooms appeared clean, we were for 2 days. We came down for Thanksgiving. The first day there was a roach in the bathroom crawling on the wall, we requested to move to another room, the next morning we woke up, the same thing another roach I'm the bathroom crawling on the towels. We actually reported this to the manager upon checking out, he initially wanted to give us points on our next stay but that was unacceptable. So we requested to be compensated instead. We were compensated on the room, but had to suggest it, which I thought was kinda of weird with the manager knowing the circumstances. The Marroitt's aren't at all like they use to be. Not likely that we will stay here on future visits to North Carolina.

Lakisha & Miracle were excellent customer service representatives. They went above and beyond in service! The manager Jay was a great help as well and a vital part of our stay! 10/10 would recommend to anybody staying in the concord area.

I stayed here on business this week and am about to be very honest. The good news is it's super close to good restaurants and Concord mills shopping mall and the Charlotte speedway racetrack which is stunning. Not to mention the staff at this hotel was super friendly and helpful. Now for the not so good news. My coworkers room had a shower without adequate water pressure, my room had a wobbly almost broken desk table leg, the light in my room had a crooked lampshade and the hotel is directly under a flight path so if you stay on the top floors and you're a light sleeper, you're likely to hear planes flying over all night or noise from.the busy street directly outside the room. The breakfast was just okay. Not once during my week stay did a cleaner come in my room. I support reusing towels but if any guest has to go to front desk to request an extra roll of toilet paper, in that is simply not acceptable. Cleaners should enter once every 3 days or so to check these basics. My garbage was even overflowing. Overall it's a clean hotel but they might benefit with a few basic room upgrades. Thank you

Hotel is a little run down. Lamps falling off the wall and just kinda dirty. Location for Nascar week is amazing. You can walk to the speedway in about 30 min. Overall it's fine for an 1 or 2 night stay.

The good, the bad and not much more.. Good, they helped me with needing to get my stay extended. Had a flight canceled and they let me get in my room a day earlier with the same rate I booked with. Very helpful! That’s where the good ends! The bad, let’s start with the room. Overall, it was “ok” that’s if you like sleeping on a board for a bed!! Never have I had a more uncomfortable sleep in my life! There was black mold in the shower with a broken shower head that sprayed water all over shower floor and wall that has built a significant amount of black mold on the shower wall. The staff, I want to start by saying this dose NOT apply to all members that work at this hotel. That being said there is a rotten apple within this group. I wish I knew this lady’s name! But I’m happier that I don’t!! This lady had it out for my family! And I get it, my girls can be a bit much but this person wanted to make sure any time spent with them in there pool was an unwelcome activity. Never mind that the floor in the pool is a lawsuit waiting to happen! Having glossy tile without any grip what so ever!! in a pool area is a really unhealthy choice. And the floor drains do not work!! Now as we where told you can’t do anything in the area that the pool is located. It’s small, so I get that! But can’t splash, can’t jump (that’s a given and should not be done as this is way to small) can’t play Marco/polo (fyi, this was a enclosed area with a door.. we where not that loud) as an example, we where in the pool each day we here there, this particular lady wanted nothing to do with letting families have fun. Was really surprised at the overall quality of this “hotel” that was more like a hotel 6!!

As expected from Marriott. Clean and comfortable. Internet was nice and fast. Great location situated near the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Better than the Embassy suites across the street that I stayed at last time. Will stay here again.

It's a hotel so for the most part everything is as expected. However, Amanda! Most hotels are pretty generic and meet the bare minimum. The exception to this is when they manage to hire someone amazing! Change is needed to use the laundry machine and I couldn't find change anywhere. The person up front didn't have change but Amanda came by to help. She called 4 different people and managed to get me 4 dollars of quarters so I could do laundry. I came down on several different times and every time I asked her something she tested me as if I was the moody important guest at the hotel and I witnessed her treat others the same exact way. The amenities don't set this hotel apart from others. The rooms don't set this hotel apart from others. It's people like Amanda that go so far and beyond to treat their guests like they are the most important people in the hotel that set this place so far above all other hotels.
