The front desk staff during the day was the worst I've ever come across. Literally not even a smile upon arrival, not from anyone including the manager. The food was unpalatable. The reservation system online doesn't sync with the reservation system in this hotel. I was forced to leave and go to a Hilton. The only polite front office staff was the gentleman who works in the evening. He's the only reason the hotel received 2 stars.

Trash experience with staff who just could not be bothered to assist. On their phones, talking amongst themselves, creating elaborate coffee concoctions, playing rap music in lobby. The hotel has great potential being in such a convenient location, however, they need a personnel overhaul it seems.

Rooms were nice. I wasn't acknowledge of being an Elite member, my room wasn't ready which was fine. I did not receive a text or call that my room was ready as other Marriotts would offer. I did not return back to the hotel until late evening and the agent did not know I came prior to check on the room which means the first agent did not even make a note. Nice hotel. I would stay there again. You just have to continue to call to see if a room is ready.

The good - exceptionally clean, both common areas and room. Beds comfortable, price reasonable. The not so good-, whatever is used to disinfect/clean carpets, has a strong floral/chemical odor, actually caused my eyes to tear. Inside the room was fine, though. Standard free breakfast but amounts left out were limited possibly to discourage people from taking too much? Staff were civil but not welcoming. I found a cellphone in the lobby, and when I brought it to the desk, I got the impression I was bothering the desk clerk. When leaving a different person at the desk barely looked up from their cellphone. No employee I encountered seemed particularly happy to be there. Overall a solid 3.

Esthetically the building and rooms were beautiful, however cockroaches running around in our room, informed front desk and were aware of this. I Immediately signed out and left facility

After a long day we went to check in and was told they overbooked and would not honor our reservation. We live hours away and they left my husband and I with our two teenagers stranded. They didnt try to accommodate us for the inconvenience or anything. I think this is very unacceptable and you should not treat your guest this way. I will also add that there were people hanging out everywhere. The pool closes at 9 supposedly but there were groups of people smoking and drinking, even trying to enter the hotel there were a group of people smoking and drinking that we had to walk through.

Watched thieves steal 2 catalytic converters in the parking lot Sunday night, no one at front desk, even when I went down to meet police. Thieves were 100 feet from the front door. Zero life in the lobby, zero security. My daughter left her electric toothbrush in the room, and I called every day for FOUR STRAIGHT DAYS and got the runaround REPEATEDLY, only to be told FOUR DAYS LATER that it was just...gone. Stolen, thrown out, who knows, who cares. Done with Marriott after this. Glad I didn't leave my work laptop in the room. Like the Holocaust: NEVER AGAIN.

Please do not book at this location!!! I was charged for a room I didnโ€™t stay in. Canceled my reservation due to my significant other being involved in a hit and run car accident and being rushed tothe emergency room. I will also be contacting the BBB. I offered to provide pictures and police report as proof but received no empathy, reservations hung up on me and getting the run around from the property.

Ms. Polly was the best part of my visit. Beautiful room and hotel (used meeting area for Corp event). But Polly, she made me laugh every day I was there. That's great customer service!!

If you have any respiratory issues or sensitivity to perfumes/deoderizers, stay elsewhere. This hotel has unfortunately been overcome with plug-in room deoderizers that are overwhelming and gagging (as in, the hallways, the lobby, the breakfast area, etc). Even our hotel room was overly perfumed. When we checked in, we wrongly assumed it was the front desk attendents cologne so we didn't say anything! We later saw the fabreeze-style scented plug-ins and misters thruout the hotel. When we asked about it at the front desk the next day, the attendent said it is done at the choice of the housekeeping manager as she believes the hall carpets get stinky. Why not just clean them?? Hard to imagine anything smelling worse than this... We are huge Marriott fans but we will never return to this hotel.

This was a great stay. The rooms were very clean and large. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. This hotel is located in a great area and close to lots of restaurants and shops. Overall a great stay.

Here now and was supposed to be staying next weekend. Canceling and will never book this location on our frequent trips to the area. Found whole Oreos on the floor, candy behind pillow on chair, TV wonโ€™t turn off (had to unplug it), bathroom surfaces are sticky, shower dirty, table dirty, scratched up pans, dishes not put away, stained coffee pot. Old, dirty, unprofessional staff to top it off. No manger on site. Stay elsewhere!!! We are not picky travelers, and travel often, but this is not anywhere near Marriott standards! So disappointing!

The Tv in the bedroom didn't work & No one was on staff to check it out. After a long drive we were looking forward to relaxing & watching a little TV in bed. AC was loud & never got the room cool enough. Bed was comfy, night staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay.

Overall, this is a solid place to stay if you can get a good deal on a room. I would look around for the best value first. Plenty of options! I had a king suite. Very spacious. It comes with a pullout couch if needed. The kitchen comes equipped with a full-size refrigerator in the room. One negative is the breakfast buffet. Breakfast is included in your stay. The food was not very good. Bacon was see-through thin. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good. They could put a little more into the food.

First of all, beautiful little place. Decent staff. "Cons"- 1. it sits on a highways of horrible constant traffic so it takes time and patience to cross the street. 2. They over did it with the amount of cleaning solution: shoes stick to the floor and a strong scent of ammonia in the room. I had to use towels to go over the floors and appliance tops to try to neutralize it a bit. (No access to fresh air in the rooms) 3. Plan on very short showers if you want warmer than room temp water. I got less than 10 minutes of hot water in 3 days in the room. **but I am certainly glad it is in up to date repair and maintenance. I have had grossed out horrible experiences with hotels lately, so this one was a relief. It's hard to get decent quality for what you pay lately.

My fiancรฉ and i stayed at this hotel (1/27/2024) . The dates, timing, room, and pricing were perfect. However when he looked at his bank statements, he had been charged an extra $93.83 for whatever reason. When he called and told them about this, they stated it was an accident on their part and the money would be refunded (mind you heโ€™s called about 3-4 times in reference to the money being taken and it being refunded). SKIP TO PRESENT DAY (2/23/24), he had to contact the better business bureau and file a complaint with them AND his bank being that he WAS NEVER refunded the money that was promised to be refunded by the hotel. The hotel manager MIKE was NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. He promised 3x that he would refund the money and also sending continuous emails stating that it would be refunded. As stated before, his refund will FINALLY be processed being that he spoke to the BBB. Not saying you shouldnโ€™t stay here, but am saying to watch your bank statements when staying here!! You will possibly be charged multiple times, and will not even realize it.

AC from Hell! Hotel and rooms looked nice, but the AC was terrible loud. I complained at the front desk and asked for a different room. She said that all rooms are like this and they are fully booked and she is sorry. Sounded like an excuse to me since the parking lot didn't looked to full to me. So I would stay away if all AC's are like this. I couldn't rest and had to shut the AC off and sleep in 76 degrees.

Overall the hotel is fairly new and in a good quiet area. The cleanliness could be better. If the shower isn't cleaned often, it will deteriorate over time. This was my first time using the bonvoy marriott app and the keyless option took a while to update. There's an option to put in service request which can be confusing because you have to go get the items you are requesting. Other than that, my stay was decent. I carry shower shoes (flip flops) because hotel shower/tubs aren't always sanitized. Someone had a key to my husband's and I room while we were sleeping. I woke up because I heard them trying to get in. I called down stairs and the manager apologized, and that was it.

Waited about 10 mins for front desk clerk to return but he was very nice and apologetic. Room was super nice clean no shower glass on half of shower which I thought was weird but overall great stay! Would definitely stay again.

Overall a clean hotel but we were put next to a long term tenant who has been blaring rap music for the past 2 hours (its 2am), smoking weed, and yelling in the hallway. We called the front desk and they are not able to reach the room or leave the front desk to do anything. We have 4 kids so moving rooms at 2am is difficult. I'd just pick a place that doesn't have long terms like this. I am sure we are not the first to have issues.

Loved the patio. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable but overall the room was good. Dishes were not put away from previous visitor but otherwise the room was clean.

The hotel is very nice and they have a lot of amenities like a pool table room, exercise room and an outdoor pool, The beds are comfy and the room has a full kitchen with everything you'll need while away from home. My only problem was the room I wanted wasn't available even though Priceline said it was and when we got in the room the floor was flooded my mom's new shoes were damaged and so was my brand new cooler bag, I was promised a $96 credit for my first night's stay but I didn't get that at all.

My two day stay was very clean and quiet. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. They really have thought of everything a person needs to make a hotel stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place!

Would not recommend this hotel to anymore. My friends family came in town 6 hours away for four nights. Terrible customer service, no housekeeping / room services. Had to go to the front desk to get clean towels, toilet paper, trash bags and such. Claimed they were short staffed which may be the case but to treat your guests like that is absolutely unacceptable especially when you are paying over $800 for your stay. Dog urine constantly in the elevators, fire pit did not work, gas grill did not work and the list goes on!

We stayed at the Towneplace Suites this weekend. 2 nights. We have stayed here before and been happy with our visit. However this weekend was not the case. Room was not ready at check in. We wanted to use a Marriott gift card for our stay and the staff was not sure what to do (as it seems all Marriott properties do not train their staff to accept gift cards). There was a note on one of the pads in the hotel room wishing someone a nice day. I don't remember who it was addressed to, but it wasnt us. When we returned to the hotel on Saturday evening there were many people in the pool, too many to have been staying at the hotel. The door from the hotel to near the pool area was propped open with a rock and people were running in and out of the hotel. The bathrooms near the pool were unclean and remained that way until we checked out the next morning. There were kids running all over the lobby and breakfast area on Saturday night. Which is fine I have no problem with kids, I'm a teacher, but these kids were wresting and chasing each other knocking into guests as they were entering and leaving the hotel. At 5:30am when we were checking out, a woman got out of one of the 5 trucks parked in the parking lot and came in and asked where the bathrooms were. We stay in Marriotts because we feel we are always assured of a nice hotel for a good price. But you can be sure we will not be staying at this Marriott again.

Very nice, clean, new hotel. It has two working EV chargers, just ask the front desk to turn them on.

Very nice and clean hotel. Very quiet also. Complimentary breakfast was satisfactory in light of the fact that a lot of hotels have opted not to offer breakfast since Covid.

A little bit out of the way from our I-77 travels, but it was worth it! Rooms were nicely equipped and clean. Breakfast was great!

Towne Place another Marriott location that offers their clientele a business as well as a relaxing environment. It's located in the 521 Corporate Center in Fort Mill S.C. Surrounding areas capable of supporting beautiful housing, as well as affordable shopping.

Management parks in charging station parking spot. Front desk listening to ear buds and on personal cell phone while I was standing in front of desk for service. Dirty iron and no iron board in room. Alarm clock had dead battery and wrong time. No door hanger to put on door for privacy. Much more but it would take a small book to cover everything. At lease 10 kids under 21 in game room clearly marked by signage says 21 and over. Lack of property control.

They charged my credit card after I had already prepaid for my room. Then I called and spoke to GM twice, he stated he was processing my refund and now 2 weeks later I still have not received my credit. No I wouldnโ€™t recommend doing business with them.
