Someone told me this place was very over priced and the rooms were outdated….. My experience was completely opposite! I was very impressed with the room it’s self. It was clean and the decor is charming. The only issue I did notice is there was a lot of food left in the bunk bed. Like crime from someone eating in bed. I brought my 3yr old here to celebrate is birthday and he loved every minute of it. The pool was of course our main attraction but we also enjoyed the arcade and bowling. We love that the arcade games still actually dispense tickets. For my 3yr old that was the best part! He kept yelling “TICKETS!!!” Every time he won 🤣. He loved it. The complimentary wolf ears were cute and we took a bunch of pictures in them. The gift shop is cute and depending on what you’re looking for it can be a little pricey but not outside of what you would expect to pay at a resort. We didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the live shows because we were so busy but passing by it was something we decided we definitely would make time for next visit. There is something for everyone at The Great Wolf Lodge.

This was an awesome stay for our son's 14th Birthday Celebration! He and our 3 year old loved it! My husband and I loved it as well! Everything was so convenient with the bands, we ordered the birthday package with the decorated door option, he loved it and the cake was so good! (Chocolate). The room was clean and peaceful, so much to do there for the toddlers, and the arcade was nice. We will definitely return! Also great customer service from everyone! ❤️

Terrible experience! My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday. So we arrive and we had an issue with checking in took way longer than needed. After that we go to the room and the door is already ajar. Talk about security issue. We ordered the top birthday package for her and the room wasn't decorated at all. They arrived 45 min after check in and dropped off some balloons and a poster for the door and the best part for the 4 of us we got 1 plate, 3 cups and 4 napkins. We also received 2 vouchers for pizza and birthday cake. We get the pizza and it was pretty decent and then we go to pick the cake up and my daughter wanted chocolate and surprise surprise they don't have any just vanilla... so we decide to use the $40 card at the arcade where some games worked and some didn't. We had well Over 500 tickets and used the ticket counting machine and it counted 49 tickets so we tell the staff it's broken it counted the tickets wrong and they reply "it happens" didn't do anything about it. This was a really terrible experience. I don't see us coming back anytime soon. Save your money and spend your vacation elsewhere.

Highly recommended! Talk about an awesome experience for the little ones. The water park was superb, great rides and the lines were not that long. Their buffet restaurant was absolutely FANTASTIC for breakfast and dinner, we loved it! There’s so many activities and things to do, is a great place for the entire family. The Kamp suites were a hit! The kids loved having their own area with their bunk beds. It was really a great time! 10/10

I had one of the best times with my son, niece, nephews and my Mother at our 3 day stay at Great Wolf Lodge. The atmosphere and activities were amazing and the children loved everything they could do. Really a place for the whole family to have a blast. Now this is not 5 stars because there was really a big flaw with the place. They are pretty greedy almost to an absurd level. You have already paid well over 600 dollars to be there for two nights and they have several things for everyone to do that do not cost anything. But if there is anything on their grounds that you have to pay for, I would just be prepared to hear some of the most ridiculous prices for whatever it is you are looking for. They had a small gift shop which was fine. We checked it out and found a small candy shop area in it with gummy worms and assorted candy. The children wanted some so we go to the desk and get a small 8 oz. or less cup to fill with candy. When we go back to the desk to pay is when you find out that this small cup of the same candy you can get at most gas stations for a dollar is going to cost you $18 before tax. And that is just one example of the several things like that you will be exposed to. So I had a great time and in the end paid greatly for it.

Went here strictly for the arcade. Was really fun but the games are super loud so if you have a sensory sensitive child like me, consider grabbing sound mufflers/ear buds before coming. Large assortment of up-to-date games. Someone was regularly wiping the games and easily accessible for questions/assistance. 4/5 for price. I easily spent 50 bucks on just a few games. Overall, though, it's worth it if you can swing the price tag. We'll definitely be returning soon to check out the rest of the Lodge.

Fun place for bigger kids. My son is 4 and wanted to do some of the other rides but was just too short. I think their height requirements are a little crazy. Fun activities for the kids. Never had any hot water or a warm shower the entire time I was here. They had an issue with the hot water. Very overpriced. I’m glad the kids had fun but I can honestly say I would want to come back.

It is a great place for a family with kids, lots of fun games, water park and good food, specially pizza, chicken wings are the best. If you happen to buy chicken strips don’t get the fries…you may feel like eating wood chips. Overall is a great place to stay, play and enjoy. Rooms are good but queen beds are not to big but comfortable, don’t get bunk beds, it is not that great. Bunk beds make too much noise and it is uncomfortable for kids from age 8+. Staff is awesome, great customer service, lovely and friendly employees here!

This is the 2nd Great Wolf Lodge location we have been to for family vacation this year. Highly recommend this location. Friendly staff and clean room. Even with so many kids staying, it is quiet at night after 11 pm. The water park is nice and clean with attentive life guards. There are plenty restaurants near by with great food which the other location lacks. Do not recommend to eat at the restaurants in the resort. They are very expensive and not too good. Eating out would be much more enjoyable and saved you money. Do bring plenty of drinks including water but you can also go to local groceries and get them. Not giving stars due to the room temperature control not very user friendly and bed not as comfortable. We will be back to this location for sure if we can find deals. We spent $250 per night plus taxes and resort fees for the Kids Camp room.

This place is undeniably pricey, but my kids have the time of their lives. It's worth saving for a night or two away from reality. They really go the extra mile to plan events and activities kids are sure to love in addition to the awesome water attractions. I also love that it's located near a ton of food restaurants so that my husband and I can get delicious take out while the kids feast on the Lodge pizza.

Great indoor water park! Celebrated our little ones' birthday here, and that was perfect. We got the birthday package, they provided everything we needed for the little party. The boys even loved the cake! Can't say enough about the park and the great staff and service! Recommend getting the Wolf Pass if you're thinking about doing most of the activities. It allows you to do most everything you could want to do. Kids especially loved the Magic Quest!

Overall, a 5 star two nights. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. The indoor water park was warm, well maintained and clean. The kids had a blast. The whole family loved the bowling. Negatives: The air conditioner unit in the room was so loud, and so was the fan in the bathroom. The rewards for the arcade were pretty skimpy with not many choices. The water park was enjoyable, but my 3 year was upset she couldn't ride any of the bigger rides including the family raft one.

I had a great time with my grand kids. They stayed in the pools and slides. They didn't want to come out. I can't wait until they re-open the dinner buffet. It's so much more kid friendly. The staff was very friendly. I can't wait until my grand kids get old enough to enjoy the magic quests. The older kids were loving it.

We have been to 6 great wolf lodges and this is one of our favorites. Lots to do, I highly suggest getting the pup passes to do all the activities. Our experience with 5 kids is that two days seems to be best amount of time. One day for out of the water park activities and then one day of the water park, anything more is exhausting. Get the food credits ahead of time. It saves money. Fun time all around! Book the trip.

I brought the kids to GWL for a little get away, as part of a Christmas gift. We have had the absolute best time! Check in was a breeze, and they didn't give us a hard time even though we arrived 3 hours prior to check in time. Our room was ready, very spacious, and we enjoyed having a little patio-deck to sit on. The staff throughout the facility has been kind and extremely helpful. The pool area is phenomenal! There is something for everyone, almost. The only thing I would do to improve the experience would be to have various hot tubs in for adults only to enjoy and/or a lazy river. It would also be nice to have loungers in the pool area (they have them if you rent a cabana, but are not available for anyone else). We have had an absolute blast and we will return again!

We went to great wolf lodge with my son's school for a family day. It was truly a great time, there was so much for kids to do from the multiple pools, water slides, games and all around there indoor adventures. One day is definitely not enough time to bring it all in and do everything they offer. Me and my family will definitely be going back for a longer stay next time to try out there adventure quest game takes place threw out the whole resort. Also they have these really neat wolf slippers in kids and adult sizes.

Loved this place! The kids had a blast. The water park was clean and fun and the arcade wasn't over populated and had great games. They have other fun things like build a bear, gold mining, laser tag, and more. We did all of it and the kids were so happy. The room with the wolf den was awesome and the show in the lobby was so darn cute! Best of all? They have a text service concierge that you can text at any time and get immediate answers. We would definitely return.

We went to celebrate a birthday, and we can't say one bad thing about this place. The grounds are gorgeous, the place is CLEAN. Our room was sparkling clean, I can't say enough about the staff. Every single person we came in contact with was exceptional. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!! They keep the kiddos busy with lots of daily activities. 5 stars! 🌟

I’ve been to this resort several times, but I was very disappointed in this stay. Let’s start off with they advertise a rate at $169 but add a resort fee of $39.99. I ordered a birthday package of $89 not worth it at all. I asked for the Pizza voucher that comes with package so we could have it for lunch. The lady at the front desk said we couldn’t do that. That the pizza coupon would be delivered to the room between 4 & 6. That’s not explained at all! Which really messed up our birthday lunch. We finally got to order a pizza but they got our order wrong. The guys were nice enough to make us a new pizza. We were told they would text us when our room was ready and they never did. It’s pushing 5pm and we had to leave the water park to go ask the front desk. Our door was not decorated for the birthday which was also included in the birthday package. I had to call about that. Then to top it all off the A/C in our room wasn’t working properly. When we entered the room it was cool. The controller on the wall didn’t work. The actual unit was blowing out heat at 4:12am. We would turn it down to 64, made sure it’s on cool but still blowing heat. We turn the unit off and it would still blow out heat with a code FP. We had to sleep with the outside balcony door open because I didn’t want to call maintenance and wake up the kids. When I did report it to the front desk; the guy just looked at me and said I’ll report it to maintenance, With no consideration that we didn’t sleep good. Seems like they’ve lost their customer service over the years. My kids are older now I’m sure this will be our last trip because not sleeping well and having to drive 2 hours isn’t fun.

Really love the experience... We were there for my son's birthday and it was great. We were 14 people (7 adults and 7 kids) in a "Deluxe suite" that includes a private bedroom with two queen beds, an in-suite log cabin with bunk beds and a daybed, one queen bed, a full-size sofa sleeper, and two bathrooms. It was really comfortable and my girls enjoy every moment with the birthday boy. Every kid got a wolf ears and they were really happy 😊. Best birthday ever!🎉

Great! Not as good as other great wolf lodges, but definitely good. There was quite some confusion about what we could and couldn't do with our pass, as we were told different things from the front desk and the staff working at the games/activities. The staff also didn't seem to care about people smoking where they weren't supposed to, which was a little annoying but not a big deal (many smokers in the hotel halls, and restaurants). Other then that, though, it was a great place for a nice little vacation.

Great place for a family trip where you don’t have to worry about your kids being kids. The staff was outstanding. From housekeeping to lifeguards, everyone was super friendly and very kid centric. The beds were nice enough. The activities were fun for our kids (ages 2 and 5) but probably better serve 5-12 year olds. Two things I wish they would do… 1) more kid activities in the morning. Most things don’t open until 10 but most kids are up at 6. There’s a big gap of trying to fill time which inevitably leads to screen time. 2) the buffet restaurant was a waste of space. No one was eating there but people had pizzas spread out all over the hotel since there is no place to eat there. Flip the spaces or put something modern parents want to feed their kids. The burger and chicken places were great and hit the kids but you can only eat that food so much.

Great place for families!!! My husband and I, our 2 and 4-year-old had an absolute blast! You can look up youtube videos and get a good idea of the place. Definitely recommend. It's a kid's dream! But it's nice too.. the rooms, the food, service. I don't have one complaint.

Awesome! Sean the night manager did an outstanding job, handling a situation with our room. Not his fault, not the staffs fault, just an freak leak with a sink. The staff is super friendly, and great activities for the kids. Great for younger kids. Teens might get board here. 12 and under it is awesome. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge. The chefs went out of their way to be accommodating to our allergy and dietary needs, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The kids had a great time at the water park, and we liked that the toddler area is closed off. (Be forewarned though, it can get very busy on the weekends with long lines for the bigger slides. During the week it quieted down and there were basically no lines.) We stayed three full days which was the perfect amount of time. Can't wait to come back next year!

This place used to be amazing. My family loved the GWL Concord, now not so much. We were sold a package, on the day of our arrival, that included a meal package, unlimited laser tag, bowling, two wands and magi quest games. (We were told on the phone if we didn't need basic wands they could get a wand topper or belt). Upon arrival my son was excited for laser tag, laser tag is closed. We went to magi quest to get started there, turns out you can only get the basic wand and not exchange it for a topper or a belt. (Although the young lady working there took very good care of us and I gave praise for her to the management). We purchased the birthday bash package for our youngest and it has been downgraded. Instead of a large door covering there was just a small badly winkled and torn poster on our room door. The balloons in the package have been downgraded as well. I wish we had known this when we booked this date almost six months ago. The things included with the package had changed as well and did not match what we ordered. We were just disappointed. Well still come here, but it's not worth paying more for the extras.

We went with our Girl Scouts and their families. Waterpark was great! It was a pleasant surprise that they had an outdoor pool/splash area, mini golf, laser tag, bowling, arcade and a ropes course. Great service. Food at restaurants was pricey. Rooms had microwave and fridge, balcony with seating.

Lots of fun. It is very different than anything I have ever experienced. I recommend it. I do feel that there is an emphasis on wizardry. The kids can buy"wands" and cast spells. I think they should loose that. Other than that it was great!

Trip was for my 5 and 7 year old kids birthdays. Staff at front desk was friendly.. the pizza place was a disaster. We ordered pizzas for dinner one night and their system wasn’t printing the orders from the kiosk. I stood there for over an hour waiting to then find out they weren’t getting orders printed! Talk about frustrating especially when you’re waiting with children. I called the front desk and the gentleman was very polite- walked down to the pizza restaurant and got extra staff to help. I was told I would be reimbursed for the pizza that we never received. I ended up having to call after I got a finalized invoice with the pizza charge still on my bill. The kids had a great time which was the main focus and the facility was clean. We visit 2 times a year typically and we will be back.

Overall went for the Little one to visit some old friends and went to the Arcade. The parking was horrible as they had their entrance and exit all over the place. The rooms were nice and not overall priced. The Arcade was very nice with a bunch of other features such as bowling and laser tag. They also have Santa currently in their lobby which was really cool to see . Overall great experience and me and the family didn't even stay, had such a good time that we plan on returning on vacation next year and staying there.

We love Great Wolf Lodge. The rooms are actually super clean (kind of surprising for N. Carolina). The food is okay, nothing off the charts, but gets the job done. The water park is awesome, and tons of slides, pools, wave pool, mini-golf, arcade, bowling, and lots of other entertainment. They do shows in the lobby, and some other fun stuff. I can guarantee your kids won't get bored. It isn't cheap, but you get a lot of entertainment for the money.

We absolutely love the great wolf lodge!! Not only is it a great time and cater towards children but the food is amazing as well. The girl in the grill Dom is the cats meow! I ordered the steak and fries and was very skeptical about how it would come out, but it came out absolutely perfect! Dom came to our table and made her kids were taken care of and took extra care of our child who has a bunch of allergies ! If she worked at a restaurant outside of the great Wolf Lodge, my husband and I would be regulars of hers for sure!

Awesome place. Was crowded but fun. Someone used our Room # to order food. Would have been nice for a complete refund, rather than just a return of the scammed food. Glad we checked the bank. 130 bucks missing. If we wouldn't have checked, never would have known. Otherwise great response time while actually at the location.

Mom of 2 kids, ages 6 and 2. I am not ready to take the plunge for Disney but this was the perfect experience. We stayed 2 nights with paw passes. We arrived shortly after 1pm with easy checkin. The room key is a WRISTBAND! Perfect for a distracted mom who can never find those room key cards! The water park is entertaining enough for all ages - even dads! My husband and oldest did all of the slides (oldest is tall) and my youngest enjoyed the splashing, wave pool and toddler area. There is a basketball area where the dads all show their best shooting skills. Husband had a great time with the other dads😂 The life guards there are no joke! At one point my 2 year old fell while in the toddler area. I picked him up and stood him on his feet and when I looked up, a life guard was already there ready to help if needed. They rotate so they are always looking at something new too. The place is clean too, especially for being a place for kids. We dried off and played magic quest and I got to enjoy some strategy with my oldest. 35 bucks to play, so I got my oldest a game wand and my 2 year old got a little light up toy. He was ready to play though. The food is expensive but we got the breakfast package and it was great. It had everything that usual breakfast buffets have, including lox and bagels! Kid approved with the pastries and fruits! Service was great. Everyone was nice. On the way home, we barely made it 10 miles before we booked the next stay.

We just completed our first stay at the Great Wolf Lodge and we will DEFINITELY be back! Check in was a breeze and they had everything ready for us, including complimentary wolf ears for our whole pack, which was a big hit with the kids. Our room was very clean and was well stocked with the amount of towels and pillows we needed for our family. The room was quite spacious, we had the 2 queen bed balcony room. We had a lovely view from our balcony, and we were surprised with how quiet it was. After we got settled in our room, we went straight to the water park, which we were all very impressed by. You can get complimentary towels at the swim shop, and choose wherever you'd like to post up. There's lounge chairs by the wave pool, and then lots of tables & chairs around the whole water park. There was an adequate amount of lifeguards who all seemed to really be paying attention which put my mind at ease. There was also a consistent amount of employees going around cleaning up tables and chairs and generally making sure everything was in order. There is so much to do at the water park, and the staff made sure the lines ran smoothly, safely, and efficiently. After the water park, the kids changed into their pajamas and went to the lobby for the nightly dance party which was AMAZING. The crew who does it really makes it so fun and gets everyone moving. Our trip was only 2 nights so we only did the room & water park, but next time when we stay longer we will definitely get the Paw Pass and do all the other fun stuff they have available. Something we really enjoyed and appreciated every morning was the ability to order Dunkin through the app and walk to the lobby to pick it up. We had breakfast and coffee every morning and didn't even have to leave the resort. We didn't eat at any of the other restaurants at the resort, even though there were a ton of options, because they were quite pricey, but there's lots of options for sit down restaurants and fast food close to the resort. I was so impressed with this resort and the friendliness of the staff and how clean and organized they keep it, we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful visit to the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord NC during November 2023. The indoor water park was very nice and the kids absolutely LOVED it. Our upgraded room was spacious and clean, but a little dated. We purchased the breakfast buffet and snack credits. Each morning's breakfast was very good. We also got our kids the paw pass. It came with a build a bear, arcade credits and candy/snacks. I would say it was worth the price and the kids loved making the build a bears. We will return one day and bring friends for our children to go down the slides with, so the adults can get a little more relaxation, instead of climbing water slide stairs all day.

  • 4/5 Charisse W. 9 months ago on Google
We had a great time here. There is always something for the children to do. They offer a plethora of activities all day long for the children to do. They have activities for young children as well as pre teens. The rooms were just like in the pictures and very clean. The staff was very engaging and very entertaining. The food was mediocre and way over priced. The water park was average and should have offered more for the price. If you have children who are only interested in the water park, then I would suggest to take them to a regular water park and get a hotel room close by. The biggest advantage to this place is the CONVENIENCE! Other than that, it's a lil over rated.

Tons of fun for the family. The kids live magiquest. Food is expensive for what it is, but that’s not unexpected. Staff was nice and friendly. They seemed understaffed on our recent visit compared to our previous visit, which usually means they aren’t paying the staff a reasonable wage. Cost of living is going up and wages aren’t keeping up, if they want people to work then they should be compensated accordingly. I certain great wolf lodge isn’t hiring for money based on what they are charging.

It's not far off of the exit, the water park is phenomenal, and the service is friendly and helpful. It was a great experience. There's plenty of space in the rooms, and plenty of rooms in the lodge. There is so much to do, and the packages are a real price saver too...I really enjoyed laser tag!
