Small rooms, no closet, very outdated. The pictures are not accurate. the whole place needs to be remodeled. The staff at breakfast was great and kept that area very clean . Checked out 3 days early and moved to a nicer more updated facility in South Park!

A few of the staff here have major attitude issues and sometimes it’s hard not to give in to it. This morning the transaction for my stay kept getting declined. I contacted my bank and they said it was Hilton that was blocking the payment from going through and the transaction kept saying my form of payment wasn’t being accepted. The Manager Jay and the girl at the front desk Lily (disgustingly rude) did not care to look into the issue even though I stayed there 2 nights ago and I extended my stay with no issues. I offered to pay the balance with a check or in cash and Lily lied and said they do not accept cash payments. She also lied and said I couldn’t get my belongings out of the room bc of the balance owed, which I wasn’t going for. When I asked an assistant manager named Daniel he told me they did accept cash, so I drove to the ATM to get cash and paid the balance... This little girl Lily has been trying my patience since day 1 and lying so much, I honestly feel like she had something to do with this situation bc I never had this issue any other time. This caused a major inconvenience… I had left a pair of black/red Nike vapor air max sneakers in the room, and when I came back to get them, they somehow magically disappeared after the room was cleaned… Also, a lady from housekeeping was giving major attitude as well. I asked for some tissue and she told me to go get it off the cart Lol! I requested room service and never got it. Only towels were dropped off in the room. The service here is a joke. I don’t see how some of these staff are even working here with the attitudes they’re giving. It’s ridiculous at this point. This is the type of service they give a Diamond member…

It's a bed and a shower... The lobby and hallways have stains on the carpet and an old, mildew smell. The room: Out-dated furniture... The air conditioner vents look like theyve never been cleaned. No mattress protector, just a mattress pad that is too small for the king mattress. The shower door will not close and if you try to move the faucet the cover for the hole falls down. There is a vent in the ceiling inside the shower growing mold. Honestly one of the worst rooms as far as cleanliness I have ever stayed in.

The employees seemed bothered that we were there. The lobby housekeeper held the elevator after I entered it, mopped me into the corner and then pushed the button to go up. They had the mops and vacuum going during the busiest time at breakfast, the front desk agent huffed and puffed when I asked for T.P. Your in hospitality, be hospitable. No one was welcoming or friendly except for the girl who checked us in. The room was clean, the gym was clean but the lounge area needs to be better kept. People left empty beer cans left on the tables, trash on the seats, chairs all asque.

This is a sad hotel. It is greatly in need of updating and a thorough cleaning. While it was convenient for our needs and the staff were trying to be helpful, it was woefully understaffed and dirty. The floors in our room were filthy and sticky. I went to get assistance for housekeeping but no housekeeping on duty. They offered me a spray bottle of clorox and some hand towels so i could attempt to clean the floors. They did comp us a diet coke but we should have been comped the whole room and/or an offer to stay at a nicer(cleaner & newer) Hilton property.

The hotel is in a hidden spot away from chaos. The parking lot is pretty well lit. There's a shopping center with a Food Lion grocery store and Dollar General on the same street. And the mall is less than 2 miles. The premium outlet is also maybe 10 minutes away. The hotel room was clean. The only thing is the room was very dark. I had to remove the lampshades to get proper lighting. Also the light in the bathroom overhead does not turn on. Only the light in the center of the bathroom works. I don't know if it's by design but that was my experience in room 512. So ladies, take your Lighted Mirror if you need to apply makeup or take pictures. I took one of the lamps in the bathroom. Other than that the room and hotel was excellent. Now about breakfast. The eggs and potatoes were on point! The lady working in there is a Godsend. Her name is Ms. Stacey. She was looking out for everyone and making sure we had what we needed all the way up to 10am and she was still helping when I left at 10:03. That says alot about her. I felt at home like I was eating at my aunt's house. She's has a wonderful personality and helping spirit. Overall I would stay here again.

The customer service at this hotel is unacceptable. Lily (asian girl) at the front desk has a horrible attitude and does not know how to treat loyal customers. When I arrived at the desk, I stood there for 20 minutes saying hello because I can hear her laughing behind the wall, that’s behind the desk. I decided to call and she came out from behind the wall as if she didn’t hear me asking for assistance. The digital entry on my room door was not working and she was giving major attitude. I asked for her name, and she’s says she doesn’t have to give me her name and didn’t have to help. I asked for the managers name, and she told me she was the manager (a lie) while laughing in my face. Another employee working there, overheard our conversation and they gave me her name and the name of the manager because he heard how rude she was and have noticed how she’s treated other customers. There has been numerous issues I’ve encountered at this hotel. To save yourself the stress, the Homewood Suites in Ballantyne is the place to go. They have top-tier Customer service, housekeeping takes great care of your needs, and the rooms are clean.

Super friendly staff! Beautiful lobby and breakfast area. Free breakfast was absolutely top notch, one of the best I’ve seen. Clean and comfortable room. Absolutely recommend and most certainly would visit again! Check out our video version on our channel on YouTube.

My friend and I stayed in room 424 from 8/9/23-8/10/23. The room had bed bugs that bit me. I recorded the bugs and addressed the issue with the manager Chase Little. He was not compassionate or apologetic about the situation at all! He said that he could give me $50 credit towards the room, but if he did anything more it would be admitting fault! I told him keep it I will address with corporate!! I myself have worked at the front desk of the hotel in management and we would never treat a guest this way,it was totally unacceptable. I would never suggest staying at this property as long as Chase Little is in charge he treated me with no customer service! Also the door would not properly close, the lamps shades were dusty, and the chair in the room was covered in stains.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming. Great location, central to lots of shopping, restaurants, yet quiet. Michelle did a great job with breakfast, standard hotel fare, but cooked well. She cares about her job and guests. Front desk staff all greeted me with a smile on entry and exit, and glad to help problem solve. Room with queen beds was a little tight, and layout was funky, with small half window and bath that opened directly onto bed with heavy barn door you couldn't close. I did sign up for the cheapest room though. Great fitness center with top of the line equipment.

My stay at the Hampton Inn was very pleasant! My room was nice and clean; housekeeping kept my bed made and fresh towels in the bathroom. Michelle, the hotel cook, had breakfast prepared at 6 in the morning sharp (eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc.) and she greeted all the guests with a smile and a hello. The front desk associates and the manager J.J. were all accommodating! I am not the one to write reviews, but I told them that I would because of how impressed I was with the service!!!

This is the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. We chose this location specifically because of the rating. Rooms 216-219 are located next to openings above the lobby. You can hear everything!! I had to call the front desk at 11:45 pm to ask that persons in the lobby quiet down. They did not do this of their own volition. The hallway is also stifling hot in that location due to the openings. Breakfast was very limited compared to other Hampton Inns and of a much lesser quality than expected. Rooms were similar to other Hampton Inns, except the bathroom doors faced into the sleeping are instead of the entry. That is an awkward placement consodering they are sliding barn doors and don't close completely as is. I would NOT stay at this location again.

The rooms were very clean, the staff Very friendly. Location was kind of a "sweet spot" Peaceful, easy parking and movement was unhindered and easy to navigate around. For a big place it was very clean and well staffed. Not a cigarette butt one in the parking lot, in fact absolutely no garbage in the parking lot 🙂

The rooms do have a funky set up. The bathroom door is different and not overly private for say if you were sharing the room with someone on a business but I was with my wife. Michelle is AWESOME and so was the entire staff

I'm rectifying my previous review, as I received a call from the General Manager explaining he made multiple attempts to contact me & let me know that my AirPods & charger were located. I confirmed and he in fact did so. Mr. Chase, Ms. Kenya and another gentleman have assisted me in locating my personal belongings. In all of our interactions, they were all very polite, respectful & proactive. Additionally, I gave a poor rating for the cleanliness in the room, but in all fairness, the rooms were clean, the only issue was 2 wasps that were promptly removed.

Really nice hotel and staff. The room was clean, well equipped, and quiet for a Saturday night. The manager was very kind and helped me get a room when my flight was delayed and all the rooms in the area were sold out. Complimentary breakfast was also very good with a wide selection. The room I stayed in also had a microwave which was very convenient.

Rooms are laid out a bit odd but work. Not a huge fan of having the bathroom door being a barn door. Overall breakfast was good and everyone is very easy going n nice.

Exceptional customer service. A big Thank You to J.J. who went above & beyond to help me correct MY booking mistake. What a pro. Loved my experience here this week. A great rate, quiet location, clean room and a comfy bed. Give it a try!

Was in town on business and stayed too late to drive 2.5 hours home, so, last minute, Hampton Inn it is. My stay was great! Staff was great, hotel was in great condition, room was comfortable and breakfast the next day was just right to get me on my way. As a Hilton Honors member I’ve stayed at my share of hotels. I’ve stayed at more than a few Hampton Inns and this one was by FAR, the best!

My room door top hinge, was loose. I had to lift up on the door a little in order to close it. I did not like the door to the room bathroom. However, it was a great hotel. The rooms were very clean. The hallway and elevators, were also clean. The front receptionist staff, were very nice and helpful.

My experience at this location was not the best in the world. We came up for the Beyonce Renaissance Concert, so the location was pretty good, since most of the hotels near the stadium were sold out. We booked 2 rooms. When we arrived, we noticed that the toilet would not flush. We tried to manually do it from the tank and it wouldn’t budge for nothing. It wasn’t clogged. We informed the front desk attendant (black lady, 40s-50s) around 5:15 as we were headed out to enjoy the concert, I asked her to call maintenance about the toilet and asked if they could come before the concert ended at 11:00. She stated that she was going to let them know right away. When we returned to the hotel around 1:00 AM, we were about to use the bathroom and noticed that it still wasn’t working. We went downstairs to inform the overnight front desk attendant, Ms. C. She said that there were no notes from the previous attendant, but she could offer us a plunger to use. That sounded kind of insensitive. We didn’t mind using a plunger, but that is a really big inconvenience, especially in a room with 4 women. We inquired about a new room to be moved to and was informed that the hotel was sold out, understandably. We said okay and just agreed to come downstairs if we needed to use the bathroom. As we prepared to go to bed, we noticed that both beds, the walls, the desks, nightstands, and all had ants go galore. They were all in the bedding, sheets, and the mattresses. The other room had bed bugs in the linen, which is unsanitary. We came back downstairs and spoke with Ms. C about the inconvenience of a room infested with bugs. I showed her bug bites and all from the bugs. She called next door to the sister hotel to see if they had any availability, but they were sold out. She told us that if it were her, she wouldn’t stay in the rooms because of the bugs (I showed her video and photo proof of the bugs in real time). We tried looking for other hotels around the area, but because of the concert everything was sold out. We decided just to tough it out because of the time (by this time it was 2:30 and we needed to get some rest before getting on the road). We asked for new linen. Even with changing the linen, the new linen had ants in there. The hotel is an older, outdated one. Very small rooms, no microwave in the room, and barn doors for the bathroom which don’t provide any privacy whatsoever. Overall, the location of the hotel was nice, but the experience was not nice at all. Ms. C and the midday desk attendant were nice; however, the manager didn’t seem understanding and made us feel as though we were lying about the situation just to get a free stay, although that was not the case. He didn’t seem to value our concerns at all and simply just kept saying that we could reach out to Travelocity, who we booked the rooms through. I would not recommend this hotel.

Location was convenient. The hotel clean, breakfast repetitive of cheese omelette. Rooms were compact without alot of storage for long stay. Pool was closed but never notified at time of booking. Had a non refundable purchase and pool was main reason chose this hotel. Front desk staff not eager to assist and make you feel like an inconvenience. Breakfast staff friendly and greetings for everyone.

It was our 9th anniversary when we checked in Friday, the 22nd of September. Earlier that evening, i placed a call to this location to notify them we would be a late arrival. The young lady that answered the phone LEX... you could hear her smile through the phone, and she uplifted my heavy spirits immediately. Her name was LEX. She told me thanks for calling and that i was okay about my late arrival concern. She was outstanding. When we did arrive, a man by the name of ANTHONY... greeted us with an award-winning smile. He smelled great he was adorably and professionally dressed. He carried himself in a way that represented Hilton very well. He checked me in and acknowledged my status, and he told me about the area, the facility, breakfast times, and where to find other locations within the hotel. It really warms my soul when i see front desk agents up hold the hilton brand properly. He had my requested items ready, check in was with total ease. After driving all night, we needed his perfect demeanor and professionalism. He checked on us our entire stay. Saturday morning, i came down for breakfast, and there was a huge group in the lobby sort of bombarding the breakfast area, which made me go back to my room. I called down and asked if it was a group or just a different guest in the hotel... he stated it was a group. I then said thanks, I will come and eat later. At 7:01, Anthony called me to let me know the coast was clear. He did not have to do that for me, but he went the extra mile, and i am beyond grateful for him on that. I forgot to mention... friday night a few things were off in our room and turns out it was user erra on my behalf, when i called feont desk and Anthony answered he was so kind to walk me through what the problem may be. Now back to Saturday morning.... there was a housekeeper who was wonderful and her name was IRIS. She brought me towels as i needed them. I tipped all the housekeepers that i encountered. Everyone was amazing. This hampton location is perfectly located. I adore even the cleanliness of the parking lot and all trash located areas. They keep it clean here. We will be back.

The staff is wonderful and friendly. Breakfast is yummy and the breakfast ladies take good care of the breakfast area. Love the tiny waffles!! The rooms could use a deep clean but my bed was clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. No microwave in my room that I could find. Plenty of places to plug things in. Would stay here again!

I want to start off by saying Sandy was incredibly friendly and tried to be as accommodating as possible. . The room(s) were incredibly disappointing. When we first arrived, our door wasn't unlocking, so maintenance had to come help. When we entered our room, it was not the suite we booked, but a reg king room. I spoke with someone at the front desk that said it was hotels.com that booked the room incorrectly; I called hotels.com, whom called the hotel, whom called me and offered a second room to accommodate the amount of guests we had. I agreed. We waited for quite a while before we were given keys to the other room. Sandy stated that she checked the room and it was good to go. When I entered the new room, it smelled like wet dog...and someone just sprayed some air freshener over it. There was animal and human hair on the floor and in the bathroom sink. The shower seat from an accessible shower was being stored on the floor, under the sink, along with trash and a lot of dust/dirt. Back in my room, I had to request a new duvé, b/c mine had dried pasta sauce or something on it. I realized that the bottom of my baby's feet were dirty, so I took a rag to the bathroom floor...filthy BLACK. As I was gathering stuff from my suitcase on the bedroom floor, I could smell piss...I smell the carpet next to my suitcase...a big spot of animal piss 🤢 The detachable shower head in the accessible shower had no pressure and barely came out at all. Last thing, do NOT stay in a room right by the elevator, you will hear that thing making a loud horn sound every time it's in use 🤦‍♀️ My oldest son agreed to stay in the room, so he could have his own room. If it weren't for that, and the fact that it was already late and I have 2 other small kids that were hungry and tired, I would've stayed somewhere else. You couldn't pay me to stay here again...and I'm extremely disappointed that I paid $200 to stay here.

Peaceful, friendly atmosphere and great breakfast staff! Shout out to Michelle and Kim. They explained the ingredients in the delicious food at Hampton Inn which helped me avoid my food allergens. Especially appreciate being able to use my personal pancake mix to make waffles. Folks with food allergies will definitely understand how special that is! Michelle and Kim - THANK YOU! God bless!

They were supposed to refund me, but it has been pending as a *CHARGE* for a week. Very bad business practice to not do finances in a timely manner. The charge was instantaneous; likewise, the refund should be instantaneous. The ground floor bathroom across from the fitness center was deplorably FILTHY! The toilet was full of feces.🤮🤮🤮 The location was great! We were only 10-15 minutes away from the William Davis Park where our family gathering was held. There were several shopping centers nearby and a multitude of eating establishments.

Pros: Kimmie, who prepares breakfast, is so sweet and on top of things! There’s a $10 off military discount. They give you complimentary bottles of water. Cons: It’s expensive. There were a few hairs in the bathroom that weren’t ours.

This Hampton Inn was in a nice, convenient location & very close to the place I was here for. The room was nice & clean & I loved the unique way the closet and bathroom doors were done! My only complaint comes from the continental breakfast...and it isn't really a complaint...but I have been to other Hampton locations & had very yummy breakfasts with a nice variety so my expectations were that of a certain standard lol. So I was a bit let down to say the least when this locations breakfast had no where near as good a variety as past locations. It wasn't awful though...just a bid disappointing.

Overnight audit, older black lady, extremely rude and unprofessional. Was watching a movie, which I didn’t care about because it’s overnight, I get it… but to totally ignore me, not even stand up or pause the movie was rude. T breakfast attendant was very nice! The male overnight audit was very nice & respectful. Overall, horrible service, old less than clean rooms but pretty good location. 1/5

I come to Charlotte once a week for work and used to stay here every week but I had issues once with sheets not changed when I checked in, another time there were ants all over from and in 1 of the beds. Another time the front desk manager was just a complete train wreck and refused to get guests or answer phone when it rang. This time I had no hot water in my room and when I tried to call don't desk the phone in room wouldn't work. I called from my cell and sat on hold for 10 minutes before calling back and being told I'd have to switch rooms at 10pm. I've spoken to the manager before and nothing has been done. This place has a good breakfast but that's the only thing good about it. I'll never stay here again. Far to many issues over and over again.

Great location, & reasonably priced. The continental breakfast leaves much to be desired and was not impressed with the customer service level of front desk staff. Room size and layout was nice, however, there is a sliding barn door for the bathroom that gives 0% privacy and does not lock. I can’t for the life of me imagine why this design was chosen. If it was due to space limitations for a standard door surely they could have done a slider that slides back into the wall and can lock when you close it. Terrible design and made the entire stay very uncomfortable, would not stay again.

The staff were all very courteous and friendly. Breakfast attendant was attentive and welcoming. The rooms could use a little updating, however the bathrooms were very nice. Could tell that the bathroom had been updated more recently than the rest of the room. The lobby/lounge area is very accommodating. We were here for a dance competition and were able to have an impromptu meeting in the lobby with no issues. We brought our dog as well and had no issues with that, the grounds around the hotel are pretty well kept and safe. All in all this is a good location with great staff

They overcharged me three separate times by several hundred dollars. I had to discuss this with the front desk at least seven times. I only stayed a couple days and even had to email the general manager. The front desk personnel were so untrained, unprofessional, and literally so dumb and ineffectual it was hard to believe. They had to credit my debit card twice and we're still not even, but I'm done with this company. I'm a disabled Veteran and was just trying to visit my son in the Charlotte area. I wouldn't stay here if I were you.

Chris is very customer centric, down to earth. Chris took his time with me to explain things over the phone because I was not sure reservations done correctly. Chris was very welcoming, 3rd shift staff mber was kind of non chalant, there is no alternative like a vending machines when they run out of snacks. However although not a small talk personality she wasn't rude, just dry. Rooms was clean, wish they had a more up to date ac unit vs wall unit to better cool room. Breakfast staff, room service very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my vacation days, would use them in the future.
