I've been visiting Tommy's Pub for many years. Thursday night open mic has been, is, and always will be the highlight of my week. It's open, accepting, and has a true sense of love and community. Chase and Sug Brown, the hosts, along with Jamie and Stacy have truly created a magical environment. 10/10 definitely recommend

For the laid back and easy going that just want to have a good time with genuine, down to earth people (and happen to enjoy playing and listening to music) - this is the place to be. A free spirited open jam and open mic on Thursday run by Briarcliff Sessions welcomes musicians, poets, rappers, and artists from all walks of life and results in a melting pot of a creative outlet that is producing a community and culture in Charlotte that will be remembered.

Tommy's Pub is one of the best local bars I've ever been to here. Jamie and Stacy (the owners) always make you feel welcome. Their open mic night is unlike anything I've seen! It's great to watch or join in and collab. Good drinks, great environment, and jams what more could we ask for!?

I *love* this place! Open mic nights are a treat, and it's a terrific venue for local bands, too. Shows are always free, and they have great drink specials. Jamie, the owner, is a wonderful guy. I especially enjoyed their Fifth annual Friendsgiving last year. It's a spectacular Irish bar and definitely shouldn't be missed!

This bar was one of my band's stops while on tour in July and this place was awesome. The staff was great and the sound guy was super cool! If I lived in Charlotte this would be my hangout for music and beer!

This place is magical! Local watering hole that has a wonderful atmosphere and staff. They have an open mic that occurs every Thursday that is very welcoming of all styles of music and people. I've grown to love all the different shows they have throughout the weekend as well. Good vibes!!!! Make sure you check out this gem when you get a chance 🔥

An amazing place to catch a Packers game. The vibe is so welcoming and friendly and the prices are unheard in this era. Jamie is an absolute joy and a super fun to talk with. I can't give this place enough stars

This is a pretty good dive bar. Drinks are good, fast, and reasonably priced. A couple tables out front, but it is mostly inside seating at the bar and other high top tables. They sometimes have live music inside too. This is a great spot for a beer after work or just a casual meetup with friends, not your spot for a night on the town so to speak. All that said, you should go check it out

One of the greatest hidden treasures in Charlotte. They treat you like family from your first visit. Huge variety of live music events and some of the nicest owners I've ever met.

Hidden gem in our neighborhood. It's very small, my only complaint but the staff is extra friendly, the drinks are good and the eclectic atmosphere is inviting. I love their Open Mic nights, always get to see awesome performances! Definitely go check it out!

Nice neighborhood pub outside of the normal PM and Noda neighborhoods. Good local music venue, plenty of off street parking and comfortable atmosphere. Tommy's has been around for many years and this spot should be here for years to come.

Tommy's Pub is the best little neighborhood bar in Charlotte. No frills, just an old school friendly neighborhood vibe kind of place. Limited food options in house but walking distance to several places, and it's cool if you bring the food back. Jamie and his staff are awesome.

Just stopped into this place to catch some football and they did not disappoint! Great service and a laid back atmosphere. They will let you bring in your own food (as long as you clean up after yourself) and the prices are more than reasonable. I will definitely be going back!
