Thomas Street tavern is always a great experience, the way it's designed and sectioned allows for you to have a different experience any given night at the same place. There's always great people there whether your social butterfly out by yourself or out with a group of friends, plenty of seats tucked off in corners if you just wanted to come out and drink and people watch. Cool lawn games, drinks and TV always make for a great night

First bar we hopped into in Charlotte. It was kindof pack and was bit under staff. We were waiting at uncleaned table but our server was cool. Although our order was taken bit late but he was being nice and friendly. Food was ok and drink price were so nice. Me and my friends were happy. Will b back

Great location in the central area of Charlotte, reasonable drink and food prices. The patio is huge! Lots of space for social gatherings. It was a great band here the night I went. Also outside it was a wonderful Juneteeth celebration. Loved it!! Caught a NBA Playoff game here during the week, grab their awesome chicken nachos. Yummy!!!

Good food, good vibe, live music on the weekends. If you love ping pong, this place is definitely for you!!

Really cool bar in Midwood. We flew in for the weekend and bar hopped around the city. Saw the back patio games from some of the adjacent rooftop bars. The staff had a rough and tumble biker bar vibe but TST was our favorite spot with the live music, ping pong and cornhole we had a great time. Had a couple heated table tennis battles with some locals and made friends with a bunch of people. The southern hospitality of everyone we met was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

This is the most racist place you ever find in Charlotte. I was profiled by a patron at the patio bar and non of the bar attenders said anything. I tried to get a drink and the bar attendar at the patio bar kept ignoring me. the guy with a beard. If you black this is a no go bar. Racist to the core. Fk Thomas Tavern

A lot of food for one person definitely shareable

The staff gave me very negative energy. I really wanted to not tip. And I AM A SERVER. That is how negative energy the service was. I did tip and didn't complain, but the food and drinks are not very good. Cheap drinks are not worth the BS.

Didn't try the food but had a few drinks. I came here cause the Harris Teeter nearby didn't have a bar, some serve wine. My uncle and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks, he said it was the best drink he's had in awhile and I really enjoyed mine as well, bartenders are true mixologist!

Walked in and noticed they have a pool table and a few other games, I always appreciate that. Bartender greeted us and told us (my son and I) we could sit anywhere. We went to the bar because why not. It took the bartender a few minutes to come over because she was watching a video in another guest phone at the time, no problem to me. We didn't see anything on the food menu we wanted so we decided to skip that part. We ordered the Mango cart beer which I had before but it was not a big hit with my son. I honestly have to come back and try the food. But overall the vibe seems okay. Okay let's do it! Overall 0-10 This place 6

Came here for my 21st birthday. There was 4 of us and our server was Zay. She was FANTASTIC. She had a great knowledge of the menu and talked to us like people, rather than just customers. She was insanely nice and truly the best server i’ve ever had at a restaurant. The environment was so welcoming and the menu was so simple and i loved it.

Came to Charlotte and got a hot tip from a female friend that this was a good place to hit for some beer and games. It was a little difficult to find parking, but once we did, it was a short walk to the bar. Good selection of beer, I got a Juicy IPA on tap (4 beers were $25). There's only one pool table, and even on a Thurs night, I had to put my name on a list and wait 30+ minutes to get on the table. While I waited for pool, I went out back where there is an awesome outdoor area with plenty of seating, nifty lighting, and two bars (one cash only). There's also 2 ping pong tables inside some batting cage netting so the balls don't get lost. All in all, fun place, it was just what we expected and wanted.

I need a copy of my W2 from when I worked here. No one answers the phone when I call. I'm going to report them to the IRS. It is against the law to not provide a W-2 for hours worked. This information must be provided no later than January 31st of the tax year.

Hands down the best chicken tenders in Charlotte! A great weekend spot! Drinks aren’t too expensive and the outdoor area is wonderful on a nice day.

Good atmosphere, waited for service for 20 minutes before we asked if anyone was waiting tables, we finally got served. There was a hair in the food. The only thing good was the beer. They also let people in that hardly have no clothes on. One man had shorts on so short that you could see his balls, who wants to see that. Come on. Think before going.

The atmosphere was great, along with some delicious she crab soup, burgers and fries, topped off with tequilla! 💜 Had a blast!!!

Love Thomas Street Tavern in Charlotte NC! They have great service and a great drink selection. They have a huge indoor space as well as outdoor! Food is really solid too! Everything I’ve had is always great! Can’t wait to go back!!!

The only place I ever felt at home when I lived in Charlotte NC!!! The whole staff makes you feel like family...for real! I love everything about this place and I love everyone in this place!!

Menu is essentially gone. Midwood hipsters as far as the eye can see. Pretty cool people and friendly but always crowded on weekends and parking is an absolute nightmare. But it is the hot night spot in Midwood

Great little bar run by very nice people. Music is great. Good food and wonderful drinks. Mostly younger crowd but everyone is welcomed - I'm in my 60s and had a great time (full disclosure - my band has played there more than once).

Admittedly biased. TST is kinda my home bar. Used to hang here when I was single, 15+:years ago. World traveler since. This is legit a world class bar. Nobody knows. Shhh.

Heart strings getting pulled. Was going here way back in the day when there wasnt but this place dish, commonwealth and the penguin in the area back in early 2000's. Moved away, came back for a visit, the area sure has changed in some good and not so good ways. Thankfully, Thomas St. Is still legit and pretty much as i remember it. Damm im getting old!
