This place is amazing! The peach glazed chicken and grits was so flavorful and tender. Juicy chicken breast paired with fried grit cakes and a light fruity glaze of perfection. I must also give a shout out to the sirloin kabobs which were delicious. I even saved room for the cookie dough cheesecake which was love at first bite!

Lets talk about how much of a GEM this place is. First off, the owner Alan is a great guy, funny, charismatic, intelligent and knows how to handle his bar. He’s amazing at everything he does and truly makes everyone feel special. His employees are also so amazing and very attentive and friendly. The food is TO DIE FOR, literally anything you order here will be a 10/10. Personally I love the classic burger with bacon added ;) drinks are absolutely amazing, delicious and affordable, and served by the best bartenders you will find in South Charlotte. The best bar and my new regular spot deserves nothing but 5 stars!!!!!

My new favorite spot on this side of town, maybe all of Charlotte! Great selection of spirits, super fun, laid back atmosphere! The barkeep, Alan, was great! 10/10 for sure! I’ll be a regular now!

Best bar in Charlotte! Great food, can’t stress that point enough. All staff are fantastic, especially Alan. Atmosphere is 10/10 inside, comfortable seating outside as well! I’ve never been to a bar before that had actual entertainment options on the TVs vs. generic sports. Highly recommend seeing a late movie at ayrsley grand cinema movie theatre then popping over to the corner bar for dinner and drinks. Also a great place to book a private event! Did I mention the food was great? Because it is.

We were at the Corner Bar last night with my sons and nephews. We were a party of six. The waitress sat us down right away at the high top table (large enough for all of us). The restaurant was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. I do not remember the waitress’ name but she was WONDERFUL. She was alone that night, she ran around took care of all tables and also did the bar tending. She was prompt, profesional, attentive and adorable. She took great care of us. The food is delicious! Both pretzel plates are so good, the Brussels sprouts were delicious. The kebabs were very tender, the fried southern chicken bites- oh my!!! So yummy. Not to mention the waffle fries with the Gouda cheese and bacon. We loved everything! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great service.

I've been making my way through the Yelp Charlotte Top 100 list so we came here for a happy hour. It wasn't crowded when we first got there, but as it got later it got quite a bit more crowded. Our service was great. The waiter was incredibly friendly. The food menu is fairly small. We went with the Corner Bar BBQ Burger and the Fried Southern Chicken Bites. Both were pretty good. I think the burger could have been even better, but we asked for it medium rare and it came medium well. The toppings on it were great. The chicken was a little dry, but the sauce and toppings were good. We also got the Cinnamon Sugar pretzels for dessert which I really liked. They came with a cream cheese frosting that was amazing. A couple of other things I sampled that were good that others ordered: the Bacon Gouda Fries and the Brussels Sprouts. Overall, this is nice bar with elevated bar food.

Went here for the first time to meet a friend & will definitely return. Think neighborhood bar with welcoming patrons & staff. Drinks were good and the place became very lively and at full seating capacity by 7. We ordered a couple of appetizers which were nothing special but fine for a small neighborhood bar where you're going for good drinks & atmosphere.

Always a great place to start or end the night! Bartenders are all good folks and a diverse crowd when I go! Not your typical corner bar experience which I like! Great mixed drinks and food is good too. They shut the kitchen down by 10/11 so definitely get there in enough time to grab a bite!

I really enjoy this place. Lively and fun atmosphere. Rated food 3 stars because I haven't had food there yet. They make good drinks and the service is very good. Come here with friends for a good time.

Wow, very glad we stopped here. Not often you find a place worth the penny. This place blew us away. The flat bread steak was amazing as was the concoction of drinks they make! You won't regret it!

Nice atmosphere. Came in for a burger. Found they don't grill their onions upon request. Do Not eat their lobster bisque and waste your money! Very Overly salted and thickened very with flour. I consider it unsafe to eat. Enjoy the beers there are plenty of choices.

We wanted to check this place out because of the reviews. The pictures posted do not accurately portray the small size of this restaurant/bar. It was a little congested and SO loud. There aren’t any noise absorbers, so every conversation was ricocheting and the music was unnecessarily loud. It didn’t make for a great atmosphere. The food was decent, definitely overpriced; we took into consideration the proximity and location. The waffle fries with cheese were $13.50. Ouch! We are glad we checked it out, but don’t think we’d go back. The staff was super friendly though!

Food and service is excellent. A special shout-out to Chelsea. She's the bar tender and an amazing people loving personality and very hard working... she's great at managing bar as well as tables. The chef makes exceptional food. Memorable food and experience and encourage everyone to visit this Charlotte gem

It's a great neighborhood bar, and it's located just across from Ayrsley Grand theaters! It's convenient for drinks and appetizers before or after the show. You'll feel right at home here. Great food and drinks! You've got to try the Brussels! Clean with a friendly and welcoming staff! The service here is outstanding!

This place is amazing! We bring equipment down here for a 3 hour ride. I know where we’re eating from now on. Great food, great service! Best dinner experience in a long time.
