Honestly, this is an important review for me, as I think a lot of this establishment—but alas, it is time to put it in writing. Dilworth Neighborhood Grille is pretty freaking fantastic for what it is…and even for what it is not – in fact ☝️I would go so far as to say that within its niche that it cannot be beat. And what niche might that be you may be wondering? Niche being that of the casual sports bar, slingin’ drinks and serving american/bar food in Charlotte. The food is some of the best bar food I’ve had anywhere around—and it is nothing if not consistent. The menu is pretty extensive for bar food, and seriously: everything is good, can’t go wrong. Inside and outside bar seating all surrounding the fully stocked center bar, as well as high top and low top seating in both areas. You can’t look anywhere in this place without seeing a TV screen, an important feature for many. And BONUS Y’ALL: they’re open until 2am..you know, like a REAL bar (kitchen shuts down a little earlier, but you’ve got until at least 1:30AM most nights). I feel I should circle back on the use of “casual” here…almost flirting with a little bit a dive vibe; however, TO BE CLEAR, this is part of DNG’s sex appeal—bc deep down, it is not a dive at all. It is clean, extremely well run, lightning fast kitchen, great service…in a nutshell, they’re running a TIGHT SHIP ☝️ but have still managed to hold onto the super chill, dive-like VIBE: and this is the source of its magic.

Sadly we were at the DNG to watch the Jets lose but at least we had incredible food and unbelievable service. Our server was really amazing. She was getting all of our drinks in such a quick fashion and there was a lot of us. The food was delicious too. We had steak nachos and the wings, both incredible. Can’t wait to go back to watch the Jets lose again.

Do NOT order from a delivery service from this place! I am sure it is fine in store but my delivery took OVER an hour and half and was a SS! One and half hours later…. No lids on any of the sauces = sauce mixed and everywhere! Crab cakes cold = no bueno! No Utensils despite asking for them 2x! = having to eat salad by fingers?!?! Salad eating by fingers was good 🤷‍♀️

The food and service was great 💯 I had the build your own salad. It was outstandingly FRESH everything was crispy. My sister had the Buffalo chicken blue cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries that was outstanding as well. Great place to go have a great meal and a great atmosphere.

Breakfast food taste was alright, not so great, sitting area outside is good but staff was not friendly and too slow with their service . Will pass next time!

Main interaction was poor . The island girl was rude and gave death stares. I’m surprised that they let her run the front. Maybe having a bad night Food was questionable I ordered shrimp tacos and veggie wrap. Fries were soiled in oil , shrimp tacos had very bad taste to it . We didn’t even touch the wrap Up charger 21% after 11pm , the food wasn’t worth my time or money

Our server was quick to take care of our needs. The food portions were good and full of flavor. It was good bar food. Worth making a stop.

The Dilworth Grille is a solid place to grab lunch or dinner and is a great spot to watch sports on the weekends. These are my thoughts on them after about 4 years of stopping by here. Currently, it is the Steelers bar in Charlotte- which replaced Fitzgerald's after it closed due to the pandemic. For fellow Steelers fans, head downstairs during a game day to find where all the yinzers are at. With regard to food, everything I've had is reliable and what you'd expect for a meal at a sports bar/grille. A lot of people mention the wings which are good, but my go-to (which in my opinion is above the mark) is the build your own salad. It's delicious, a great bang for your buck ($10.45 starting), they don't limit you on toppings, most of the toppings are free, and they don't skimp you on portions when you order a lot of stuff (and for that I love them). One of the few places I'll think to pick up food because the portions for prices are worth it. Stop by here for a bite or beer, especially during sporting events.

We was greeted and said when I entered. The staff is very friendly and polite. It was crowded. I think it was the lunch. I will rush but I still receive my food and a decent amount of time. I have the club wrap with sweet potato fries and that Caesar salad was good as well.

I ordered a chicken geek pita for dinner and a chicken Caesar salad to eat the next day at work. For about 15 dollars you would think there would be more in this Caesar chicken salad. There’s more toppings in a McDonald’s salad. You can see in the pic it’s just a few croutons and lettuce and hardly any chicken and the chicken was bland. My Greek chicken pita was also also about 15 dollars and was extremely lacking. Greek chicken pita sandwich is something I order at a lot of restaurants and this was the worst one I’ve ever had. It didn’t have a lot of flavor, was noticeably salty, and the pita was so soggy it was falling apart. I was sad I spent 30 dollars on these two items. This felt like a waste of money. I always hear people in charlotte bragging about this restaurant so I was excited to check it out. I’m Coming from Greensboro where late night/diner food like this is much better. Would not recommend this place.

Let me tell you, it was my first time there but it will not be my last. I really like the place. Nice looking bar. Very nice staff. Good food and even better drinks. Only tried one of the pizzas, so I need to try other things but I'm confident the food will always be good. Check this place out.

My husband and I just love this little establishment for grabbing a quick bite to eat! He loves their burgers, I love the cheesesteak!! Their regular fries are very good but their sweet potato fries are spectacular!! The staff is always friendly and prompt, which is nice. I definitely appreciate the extra effort to keep the bathrooms clean and sanitized. Dirty bathrooms have prevented me from returning to places that had delicious food. So thank you for going above and beyond! Plus our kids enjoy the cute cups we bring back 😉

This is a large bar / restraunt with a medium sized menu. We ended up sitting in the large wrap around booths in the back which were very comfortable. Wait staff was very prompt and attentive. We tried the chicken tacos, steak hoagie, and a pork sandwhich. The pork was good but the sandwhich had a strong mustard that deterred from the flavor. The steak hoagie was awesome. The steak was really flavorful and juicy and I can't say enough good. That brings me to the tacos, the chicken was so tender it was almost like eating salmon. It must marinate for awhile but I loved it. So much dry chicken out there and this was not the case here! Definitely recommend you give them a try if in the area.

Wings were absolutely delicious, I went for Thai chilli (in most cases). On the other had, the fries said 6oz’s but I can guarantee I got shorted for the price. WAY over priced for such a small portion of fries and Arnold Palmer was SUPER watered down 🤷🏾‍♂️.

Ordered the steak hoagie and taters tots. The steak was seasoned very well. My husband got the hog pie with lots of meats. It was delicious too!

If I’m being honest the only reason this place gets two stars was because of Emma and her amazing service. Upon entering, we were seated in the bar area at a high top table for 2. I know it was college football night but my friend and I just wanted to catch up over drinks. I asked if we could switch to the other room where it was quieter and we could have a convo without screaming to each other. At first we were declined and was told it would be a while even though there was a 4 table area available. I said we could wait but then the manager stepped in and offered to seat us at the vacant table. What threw me for a loop however was after being sat, he asked for a card to be put on file and kept it. I didn’t think anything of it until I saw other patrons dining and handing their servers their card upon receiving their bill. It bothered me at first but I let it go. What really bothered me however was the wait time. We received our appetizer in a timely manner but then when it came to the entrees that was a different story. Not over exaggerating but it took literally an hour before our meals came. Emma continued to come back and apologize while checking on us which was sweet. But our app came out at 8:48pm and at 9:49 we just now are getting our entrees. It took everything in me not to say just cancel the whole order and leave because that’s absurd. To top it off, the salad was missing wontons and was brought out dry without salad dressing. Then my burger literally came out cold without the bbq sauce and cheese that wasn’t even melted because the burger was so cold. At this point I was so upset I told Emma thanks for the service but if we could just have a to-go box and I’ll just cook it when I get home because it would have been another hr if I asked them to remake it. Literally a waste of money.

It has been a staple near uptown Charlotte for nearly 20 years. I was told very positive things about this place. I finally got the opportunity to check it out one late night while out with friends. We all got a plethora of dishes !! The food was ok! It was mind blowing but it gets the job done if you want to find something to satisfy your appetite. I got the chicken tenders platter. I did enjoy their tater tots. The chicken tenders seem very oddly huge practically the size of full chicken breast Pattie’s. Our waiter Paul was very cool. I did appreciate the Dilworth cup your allowed to keep.

I came b/c it was close by & I didn’t have much time. The rating was decent so, sure I’ll try it. Very disappointed. They actually served this to me (Burnt sweet potato fries) AND only corrected it upon request. Why ? 🤷🏽‍♀️

👍👍 It was delicious, exceptional drinks, I expected a heated space, as it was cold. I definitely recommend wearing more then 2 layers in the Winter. Despite everything, this this is arguably the better rooftops in Charlotte. Delicious delicious drinks, decent prices, casual atmosphere, amazing times....

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
