Man, I'd never thought I'd be writing a bad food review. I'm usually pretty forgiving and understanding of lackluster service. However, the service that my friends and I recieved at Chili's was nothing short of unspectacular. On several occasions our requests seemed to be unheeded. We never received any refills, utensils for our food, or boxes until the 4th request. We waited around an hour and a half for food and even longer to get the check sorted out. While there were many smiling eyes and faces from the staff. It was hard to build a customer to employee relationship with the poor service. The food was nothing note worthy as well, it was very salty and a terrible pairing with the abcence of refills. I will not be revisiting this location. An unremarkable performance and poor representation of this usually high performing establishment tonight.

We waited up front in an empty restaurant for 10 minutes (yes, we timed it) and we were not greeted and not sat. Several employees came out the back looked at us and turned back and just walked back into the back like they hadn't seen us. Update:We ordered waters while we perused the menu. The waters took awhile to be brought by the hostess. Our server never came to the table and we waited more than 10minutes. Multiple other tables had their drinks brought and orders taken. Various employees wandered around the restaurant and were messing around. The bartender was mixing something in a large bucket on the bar, which seemed odd. We asked if the waters were free (just in case) then walked out on them

Jay the bar tender was a whole vibe! Them drinks was amazing and the food was presented to us with fun and excitement. The drinks and food was made from love. The staff have fun at work and makes a great place for people to come eat and drink!

Terrible all around. Eaten from here 3 times, twice car-side, once from door dash. Both car side times I've waited for over 20 minutes and no one came out. Saw other customers going in and coming out looking annoyed, so I went in to find my order cold on the shelf. Staff was rude to me for coming in rather than continuing to wait. Both times before an item was missing, this time the order was completely wrong, they don't answer the phone when you call. Just drive the extra half hour to the south Charlotte location

I was not impressed with this location. Staff shortage, which is to be expected now, but after specifically asking about an item and then ordering that item it was still wrong. Our server never checked on us during the entire visit. One member, who was helping everywhere, was the only one who checked on us. She even told the lady who took our order what was wrong, and no attempt was made by the server to fix it, apologize for the mistake or anything. Will NOT be going back. To the lady who did everyone elses job....5 stars.

I wouldn’t give a zero star, i have ordered a few times from there and its been a bad experience hoping for it to change. But this time was unacceptable, i placed a order not Long ago i went to get it thru the pick up area as always and alas I went inside there was nobody to greet I waited five minutes and some lady came up to the computer didn’t greet me or acknowledge my presence then somebody else came up to her to the computer and also didn’t acknowledge, somebody else came up and Also didn’t acknowledge, didn’t bother to ask for my order, a few minutes after they were gone a customer came to me with a menu on his hands saying that he’s been waiting on his table And nobody comes to take his order he was the only customer in the store dining in, it was very slow day, it’s unbelievable the shenanigan’s going on there. The kitchen is not to socialize, the customer is not the priority in this location.

The menu and recipes have changed. One of my favorites, anchos salmon was used to be served with the citrus sauce but now they have changed it some mayonnaise and it tastes horrible. Also their veg fajitas have asparagus and some bean patty. Absolutely disappointing.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant! Not one table was happy in the entire dinning room. Almost everyone had to talk to the manager and she was not very kind. We waited over an hour and 20 minutes for a burger and some pasta! Finally we just got it to go and we will never go back there ever. They couldn't pay me enough to step foot in there again. The manager was like "I took off 50%" like that makes everything better. I go to a place expecting to pay, just get it kinda right. Yeah, it's nice to get half off but guess what's nicer? A good experience with my wife, that's what! They need a whole new process. I just don't understand how a restaurant that all they do is serve food can mess up serving food so unbelievably bad? Like you almost have to try to be that bad. Like before you show up for work you get all the employees together and you say hey, let's see how bad we can be today and even then, it still wasn't as bad as how it was tonight. Just no.

We reached at an off peak time of the day (post lunch) and they were already out of corn, shredded cheese and ranch. Seems like they are still struggling with managing their inventory. They should seriously consider getting contacted with a reliable wholesale food retailer as running out of basic staples in the middle of the day is unacceptable.

Was in need of a late three o'clock lunch before shopping at a large box store down the road. I would be one of five tables in some form of service. The booth I was seated at had tortilla chips on the floor from a prior guest. When I say chips I mean chips not crumbs. The server arrived asking "only one today?" Yes, a party of one today (So annoying) and requested water. Asking if the potato or chili had flour in it was directed to an allergy menu, it had neither listed at all. The server didn't know and neither did the kitchen, so both were a pass. Decided on the Two For Ten Dollars Special. The choices were a salad, no croutons and a double burger no bun due to an allergy, "please let the kitchen know." A Caesar salad would be made with bagged iceberg lettuce which was bland. The burger was meh and the fries luke warm. After getting the servers attention asked for fresh fries, he looked at the plate and saw I wasn't eating them. As slow as it was fresh fries should be dropped just before the burger is finished cooking. "The fresh fries" wouldn't appear until after the burger was completely finished was confusing? The person dropping the fries off actually acted as if this was normal, fries only take about three minutes. Why would they have to be eaten separately from the burger? Asking for the check was directed to the pad on the table for checkout. I also asked for water to go and was charged for Coke? I was drinking water and this had to be taken off the check. Before leaving I got to notice other things in the restaurant that needed attention, bathroom included which had not been cleaned, paper item's replaced or picked up. The water to go never arrived, the server was still tipped 18%. I won't be returning to this location. If you have a gluten allergy this is probably not the place for you. Cross contamination is an issue.

Ordered Curbside. Notified them when I arrived and sat 30 mins waiting on my food. I noticed everybody going in to get theirs, but I wasn't able to and I had already tipped them to bring it out. After calling, one of the young ladies were helping another customer to their car and stopped to check on me and went in and grabbed my order. I got the southwest egg rolls, the quesadillia explosion salad and a slice of cheesecake. All of it was very delicious, fresh and the correct food temperature. My sister got the margaritas chicken with broccoli and loaded mash. Hers was tasty as well. Mash was a little too mashed, but eatable. The cook prepared/plated it to her specifications. Will definitely go again.

I had the absolute worst experience ever at Chili's for my son's birthday. We came in and ordered with our drink order since we always get the same thing. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and then 48 minutes to receive our food that was wrong. The waitress didn't write down our orders so I'm uncertain if she messed up or if the kitchen did as she stated. My sons cheese sticks were cold and I was missing my burger minis and my husband was given the wrong chicken strips. I was eventually brought these oversized minis 15 minutes after my original food was brought out and my husband's chicken strips were brought out in a Togo container 35 minutes after his food was brought out. By that time he had left. There were no apologies just statements about a horrible kitchen staff. My son literally dozed off waiting on his food for his birthday!! We left and my son said he would've preferred a 4 for 4. I'm a tipper. I even tip when service is bad but this was the first time that I've ever received service so bad that it would've been insulting to myself if I spent another dime.

We went for lunch at this place. The food is just amazing, we ordered Mexican chicken rice bowl and Ultimate Cajun Pasta. The bowl was so delicious, chicken and veggies were fresh with some crunchy thing in the bowl. The pasta was creamy, chicken and shrimps were nicely flavored. I would definitely visit again.

Every single time I order Chili's To-go within the past 5 years there either are items missing from my order or the wrong item received after clearly ordering something else. I decided to try them again to receive my birthday cookie and once again I was given the incorrect item. I ordered baked potatoe soup and ended up with this brownish soup that looked gross. I called the restaurant and was told my information would be given to the manager. I haven't received a call or email but I'm definitely never ordering from them again.

Nice place but little bit clumsy.. food quantity was pretty huge.

It's not bad. Fajitas were undercooked/rushed... vegetables still stiff, onions not cooked well, etc. Burgers are really good though. Thin chips with salsa are not bad. Decent menu variety. Good mixed drink menu. Staff was friendly but somewhat absent when needing refills for drinks... was not busy at the time. Overall, it was ok/decent.

Waitress was super busy over wkd an serv not so grt. Food burnt. Person dropped food ran off didn't even get to ask for extra napkins an condiments. Charged for chips and salsa was not removed from my sign in log. Not recommended

Spacious sports bar cum tex-mex grill serving decent portions and the food tasted okay. We ordered White Spinach Queso with chips (we liked it the most) along with cheese burger and chicken fajita. They have some decent drinks selection too, though we did not try them. The price point seemed on the higher end in general and more so for the drinks.

Worst. Restaurant. Experience. Ever. 20 minute wait to sit (I get being understaffed). 15 minutes before waitress acknowledged us. 10 minute wait for soft drinks/water. 15 more minute wait for beer. Appetizer never came. Now we’re an hour in. Got up and left. Only then did staff apologize. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS.

My family and I are from Texas. Every time we try and visit this Chili’s they do not have the staff to be able to seat us. I’ve lived in Charlotte going on a year and we Are a huge fan of Chili’s in Texas. However every time we try and visit this restaurant they never have the staff in place to be able to serve us. We end up walking out and having a find elsewhere to eat. I love their food, Their beer, And if given the staff I know the Service would be good. But for over a year this place just has not been able to have sufficient Staff in place

went to Chili's last thursday and the service we received was TERRIBLE. I understand being short staffed but our waitress never checked on us. The manager had to come take our order. Once we received our order, the waitress came over to ask if we needed anything, I asked for ranch, 15 minutes go by no ranch. I stopped the manager and she brought some over immediately. The waitress then comes by to bring us the check (we hadn't even touched our food because by the time it came out it was cold) and asked if we needed anything else, my fiance asked for A1 sauce, she said okay and never came back. Needless to say we paid our bill on the machine and left. would never come back here. do not recommend.

Awfully busy and unprofessional. Curbside customers had to go in to retrieve their food due to extremely long curbside wait times. Received my food 45 mins later than the appointed time. Employees in street clothes walking back in forth into the back, bringing out people's food. Half dressed and smoking in the back. Highly unacceptable and no MANAGER to address the issues of the waiting Curbside customers, Door Dash drivers or the walk-ins. Never again!!! Cashier left the counter to never be seen again. Disappeared!!

The worker with red hair needs a raise she was very hard working and the place was a lot of work for one person and she was getting it down I think she was mixed with straightened hair she also was very polite to us and as we were leaving it still was only her cleaning tables. Food overall was good and I know others worked hard but she stood out to me and you couldn’t ignore how hard she hard she was working. Definitely coming back just because of her. We went there Tuesday August 2 2022
