There's always more than enough food when you go to Kristopher's. I got the Slam Dunk au jus sandwich (all of their menu items are sports terms), the appetizer sampler with onion rings, mozzarella sticks, potato wedges, & chicken strips. Lots of TVs and the staff is always willing to change the channel to the sport you want to watch. They have a full bar and the place is almost always packed. It's a great place to go watch a big sporting event (Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup, World Series, etc).

Ordered 2 dozen wings 1 BBQ & 1 mild teriyaki with blue cheese & ranch. The wings were dry. No sauce. & got spicy teriyaki instead...I didn't expect such a simple order to be messed up. :/

Went last night and had a bad experience. The waitress was very nice and I tipped her. The problem I had was the food. The food is good I been before but last night the wings and fries was cold. Waitress asked to take them back and heat up but I don't like reheated food. No manager came to see about us and no composition was even offered. So I felt like they don't care about the customer when the customer had a complaint. That's 4 guests that might be lossed. My family.

One of the only original places in Matthews, and it's always a good time! The bartenders are on point and the prices are the best in the area. The menu offers a wide variety of options and everything that I have tried has been delicious.

I had a burger. I wasn't impressed but I'm a hard sell on a good burger. I'll try something different when I return. Nice for sports bar atmosphere. Staff very nice. Chili was very good as app.

Food was priced lower than expected but tasted as good as expected. Will definitely come back here again.

I’ve been visiting this bar for 15 years ! And i visit the boat house also . I went hear with friends 2/5 for a drink and the shady bar tender Erica would not serve me nor my friend that spends lots of money there ! Probably because I know her shady past . Not good for business at all. I used to recommend this place to friends but with this person running this bar I will never visit again and give my hard earned money to a venue that permits this behavior in a public bar . Until I get answers my review stands .

Kristopher's has been our go-to casual dining space for over 20 years. My husband loves the chili, and our favorite sandwich is a hot Speedway Grinder. Love the Tarheel and Blue Devil as well. And the fries our awesome.

We like Kristophers, BUT they don't get the Big10 network, & we were only told this AFTER 25+ minutes of waiting...! As Buckeye fans we can only eat here if it is a network broadcast (then why not watch at home?) or on ESPN. BUMMER. So choose your restaurants wisely. Hickory Tavern gets all the games, and that is where we ended up for today's OSU game. There were other OSU fans in the room at K's, but they had already ordered their food when the barkeep told them they couldn't show the broadcast. They were ticked at being trapped there without the game.

Mozzarella sticks were good… but that’s as much as I can say. I ordered Buffalo Wings and had to confirm that they were Buffalo (to which I was told they are) because they were sweet- no heat at all. Our server was very sweet, but we won’t be returning.

Best wings and drinks in Matthews!! Been there a few times and the Jamaican Wings!!!! And the Bartenders are very professional will recommend to everyone!

Bartender, Chris, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The food was good, and atmosphere pleasantly "sports bar" type of place. All good, but bartender, Chris, made it terrific experience.

Had lunch (their Italian sandwich), with onion rings (appetizer) and cheerwine for drink. Haven’t been there in years. Sammy our waitress, was awesome! Will definitely be back again some day.

What a fun place to enjoy the game or just some beer. Great, friendly service. So many TVs. They’ve been here for so long and it’s easy to see why. I’ll definitely return soon. Props to everyone at this rockstar tier bar/restaurant.

We go here nearly once a week. My kids like the menu, one always gets a burger and the other loves the chili dogs. They have good sandwiches as well and have a ton of TV with different sports going nearly all day. Good food, good atmosphere, what’s not to like.

Eh, place is alright. Took a little long, the sauce was below average (hot honey)… had an excellent waiter though! 5/10?

I had a BLT that was good. Onion rings excellent. Others in our party had burgers which they said were excellent. The service was very attentive.

Food was good but service was not. Got our entrees 2 minutes after the appetizer. Didn't get silverware with our appetizer, another waiter had to get it for us because waitress never came back. We asked for sauce with our entree but never received it. We finished our meal before she ever came back to check on us. We waited for roughly 10 minutes then just ate the meal without it. Have had decent experiences in the past but today was terrible. Its was not even busy inside. Bad thing is she didn't realize I could see thru the kitchen doors. Once she came out to make an appearance, she was texting on her cell phone and left it in the back before coming out. We asked for our check and left. We walked outside and she was out smoking with someone

My 1st time eating here and I can say I will never go back all the prices online are a 2-3 dollar difference than what's actually in store they dont let you know the prices are different until you go to pay and you realize it yourself and ask questions the quality and quantity of the food was horrible one of my trays barley had fries in it and all of my burgers were pretty raw except one

Everything from the Olympic sampler, pretzel sticks, and all our different meals was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious and I am super super picky! Waitress was great and attentive the whole time! Will def come back!

Went to eat at Kristophers the last 2xs and had to leave after 10 minutes no one came to meet us at our table after being seated. I came back the second time after months of not going there. So plenty of time between visits. No way should you be seated and no server come to your table in a respectful time. Not even hi I will be right with you, nothing. I will now avoid this place since service is o for 2.

I had never been to Kristopher's before in my life yet heard so many praises from my brother about it from my brother today was my first time tbh the waiter took more than 10 minutes to get our drinks one of them was to be a frozen glass it which had thawed completely out by the time we got it. I ordered a Philly cheese steak with fries when the food came the steak was chewy as if it was overcooked there was only cheese on one side of the sandwich and very salty the fries had no salt at all and cold afterwards the waiter didn't ask us if we would like another drink normally you do this to make the bar more money and people love to drink overall I had a good dinner with my family enjoyed our time there all in all is a well kept place and clean and the people were really nice I usually dnt do this to well established businesses but it was a treat and I didn't want to let my mother Kno how upsetting this was.

Ordered through postmate. Over 60.00 of food. Disappointed!!No sauce came with calzone. Left out a salad and no dressing for another salad.

This place was very ok. The wings… ok. The service… ok. The drinks… meh. My server didn’t know what an old fashioned was and I ended up drinking a martini, which was … ok. There’s nothing about this spot that would especially motivate me to come back. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it wasn’t a great one either.

Love this place I don't go often but at times I can count on one hand and never had an issue. The waitresses were super friendly and cordial and the food wait is not long either l. Thank You.

From the time I started visiting with my parents as a kid (back when they first opened in '89) to the part-time job I held in my twenties and now when I go out to hang with my fiance (my high school "dream heart" I became reacquainted with when we ran into each other at Kristopher's), this restaurant will always hold a special place in my heart. However, here is why you should like it: Great food, good customer service and an awesome location. The only reason this place doesn't get five full stars is because Robby got rid of the karaoke. But why??? It was SO much fun! Honestly, we wouldn't even have to visit other places if they had karaoke again because then this place would take care of all our food AND entertainment wants. Still, it is a small (first world) complaint. We love Kristopher's and always will!

The food is awesome. Best potato salad I ever ate, you have to at least try it. The service needs a lot of work and it’s so dark you almost need to use your light on your phone to see the menu but I’m telling you, the potato salad makes up for all of it. The steak and cheese sub is also really good.

Not the Kristopher's that I grew up with. Food was mediocre at best. Service was ok but I think it's absolutely ridiculous to have menus with no prices. Wanna know how much it is, here download our entire menu to your phone. Probably won't ever go back. Used to be a cool place with good food and atmosphere. Now it's just like every other cookie cutter sports bar.

The food is really good but some of the items have too much salt. Friendly employees and good customer service. Messed up my takeout orders a few times recently but this is still one of my favorite restaurants.

Great food n awesome outside dining. Service was good. Drinks were amazing. We got 3 different types. The Jamaican Me Crazy I think it's call was my favorite. Food came in a timely manner. Although my order was a little messed up I still enjoyed the meal.

Great wings. It had been a year or so since my last visit because service just was not what it used to be. This time I sat down at the not-busy bar, asked the bartender for a menu for takeout. Was handed a sticky menu and my beer which had 3 inches of head. 12 minutes later she hadn't come back so I ordered online.

This place is a joke. My bf has been working there for a while now and tells me stories about the things that go down. He says one day after getting stiffed from a large party that his manager Meagan tried consoling him by telling him that she shorted all their drinks anyway so he shouldnt be mad. So my humble 2 cents is to refer anyone who enjoys a proper cocktail to go anywhere else.

Great local restaurant! It has been around for quite some time & is a staple in downtown Matthews. The service is always good, & the place is always clean. I got some wings the other day, and they were some of the biggest wings I’ve gotten at a restaurant! Delicious and definitely worth the money. They have a great bar as well, and the bartenders provide good service.

Everytime we are in town we come to Kristopher's. The food is delicious, good variety to pick from. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We have not tried anything on the menu, but I can recommend the stromboli, the grand slam burger, the wings and the Philly! We will be coming back as often as possible! Definitely recommend this place!

The place has a bit of an odd smell. Otherwise the food and service were good. I had a burger and was quite pleased with it.

We had dinner on their outside patio. They had the tables arranged for social distancing. There were 4 adults, 2 of us ordered the Roman Club sandwich with onion rings. One ordered the Totchos large, and one ordered the Ball Park special with french fries. All of the food was delicious. All of the staff were wearing face masks, one staff employe was cleaning all tables, chairs (seats, arm rest and legs) she was doing an outstanding job keeping every sanitized. Never had a Roman Club before, it is made from a pizza crust foldered into a large hot dog type of bun. The bottom of the Baked crust had the meat stacked up with a small salad on top of the meat with ranch dressing. The Totchos was a large Taco salad. The ball park was 2 hot dogs and french fries. All of the food was very good. Our server was friendly and checked on us keeping our drinks refilled.

My roommate and I grab drinks here all the time. Excellent and attentive staff with a great beer selection! I've heard their food is quite good as well

Have never gotten something here I didn’t like. The atmosphere is laid back and sports filled. Lots of bar style food and even outdoor areas with TVs to watch with friends.

I enjoy Kristophers, the atmosphere and bar etc is great. The staff and everyone is friendly and pleasant... Their food is great but as far as their wings... They left everything to be desired to be nice.

One our favorite places for wings. They know how to make them crispy and get them wet! They have some unique flavors too.

As always, a great meal and service. Best Spaghetti, Chili and Speedway Grinder you will find. Waitresses are always timely, nice and friendly.

Good luck getting a waiter or waitress taking your order! Our waiter walked by our table several time. She hadn’t even taken our drink order yet, and then she decides to stand and talk to the host right in front of us. Embarrassing and unprofessional.
