Hands down 😋 Kebab-Je has some really good Lebanese food, and YES it is AUTHENTIC! I don't know where to begin, other than saying GO and EAT here... Okay so, I got the mixed kabobs, 1 chicken and 1 Lamb/beef mixed, and when I tell you that Lamb/Beef skewer was hitting and so flavorful, all I could do was smh while eating in silence from the pure enjoyment. I asked for a little bit extra char over the fire, and they made it perfect. The chicken 🍢 skewer was tasty as well. My dish came with their yellow jasmine rice that has cranberries and golden raisins in it, and sauteed veggies as well. I forgot to take a pic of the bread🤷🏻‍♂️, all I can say is GET IT! It's fresh and made-to-order in house. My server was really cool. I'm definitely returning here.

One of my all time favs. This is a family owned Lebanese place with excellent food and service. I have never had bad experience here. We ordered flafal for apps and coke and tea for drinks. This place does not serve any alcohol or beer. For entrées I ordered Chicken shawarma plate came with rice and veggies and he ordered a lamb wrap. Reaallly good food. Our server Lisa was nice too. The break with olive oil in the beginning was great 👍. Will be back . They also sell the marinated kebabs you can cook at home. For dessert we had walnut and pistachio baklava which was just perfect

Everything tastes fresh and we never leave feeling gross or overly full (even though the serving sizes are ample). The service here is always spot on, very gracious and attentive. Truly a must visit restaurant.

Really good food and great service. They used authentic seasons and spices. We enjoyed the grilled wings, mixed kebab plate, lamb shank and lentil soup. All was good. Will return again soon.

Absolutely the best Lebanese food in Charlotte! I ordered a veggie plate with tabbouleh, spicy potatoes, falafel and hummus. The bread was hot and everything was fresh, well seasoned and delicious! I had a side of basmati rice. I left full and satisfied and even brought some home.

So good!! Went with friends this past Friday and we were all very happy with the food. We started with a lentil soup that was the best! The flavor was just perfect, not salty, no artificial flavor, it was delicious. Judith, the manager, was super attentive, we asked for suggestions and we enjoyed our meals. I ordered the Meat Shawarma Sandwich and I could eat it every day for a whole week! The meat was tender and lots of flavor, I could taste every ingredient because the sauce was just right. My friend ordered the Hummus Shawarma and she said it was very goo; her husband ordered a mixed grilled seafood and he also said it was very good. The place is not huge, is very cozy and a very welcoming atmosphere. I am glad I will be moving near them this year because I can see myself going there every week! I highly recommend this place!!

Delicious food, quick service. We tried this restaurant for the first time.. It was kinda full as it's a weekend. Still, we're able to get a table fairly quick. Ordered one Falafel plate, Chicken Kebab and Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Except for the veggies, everything else tasted great. The veggies served as a part of entree item lacked taste and was soggy. Apart from that everything else tasted fantastic. Must try if you're looking for Lebanese food.

This is delicious mediterranean food and wonderful service. Packed with people, so there a good sign. But no wait for the table. 3rd visit for me, 1st for Boo who was very pleased. Big shout-out to the kitchen crew!

This place deserves a 5.0 rating. The fresh pita bread and hummus are a must! Four of us split a family platter and had plenty of leftovers. I HIGHLY Recommend!!

Yasser Sadek knows great customer service and also how to cook a perfect Lamb Kabab! After my TO-GO order was overcooked (well done lamb instead of medium rare), he cooked it himself to perfection and ensured that I went home with exactly what I paid for. This is the place to go for authentic middle eastern food in Charlotte. Everything on the menu is something new and delicious to try from the region. The management and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Overall a great dinning experience!

Best chicken shawarma I’ve ever had! The staff is friendly and I haven’t had anything bad there. Whenever I crave Mediterranean food, that’s my to go to place. Also recommended the hummus. It’s delicious.

Wow! Stopped here before heading to Costco and it was well worth it! This place is so tasty and the flavors are amazing! The server/hostess was so sweet and helpful as well! We’ll be returning soon!

Kabab-je is our go-to for quality middle eastern cuisine. While we've always ordered the baba ghanoush /muttabul with kafta kababs and various salads and been very pleased, a recent Saturday pandemic induced craving resulted in our getting the chicken shawarma wraps. The crunchy chicken, garlic sauce and pickles in a messy wrap was a thing of wonder, leaving us smacking our lips long after it was gone. It's not to be missed but will inevitably leave you sighing and wishing there was more.

You never know what treasures hide in a strip mall. Once we got through the front door I knew I’d be very happy. Great waitstaff. Made all the right suggestions. Loved every minute of our visit. ❤️

We dine here often and always are satisfied. There are many options, including several vegetarian. Substitutions are never a problem. The service is always awesome, friendly, and prompt. The food is plentiful and delicious, and the prices are reasonable.

Place is ok. It could be better. Hummus is not as creamy as it should be and is a little on the sour side. Love the fresh bread and the Armenian Sausage. Service is above average. The shawarma is missing the final touch. Prices are on the higher side.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch yesterday on the patio! Our server Kelly made great conversation and made sure we were looked after. He was amused by the sight of me (a British man) drinking sweet tea like a Southerner! 😂 We particularly liked the pitta bread, stuffed grape leaves and the lamb shawarma wrap. We will return!

Great food and great atmosphere. Had never been here before, but will definitely be back. Our waiter Kelly was superb and very informative about the different dishes. Overall get time.

We go to this restaurant every now and then. The food here tastes great and the service is wonderful as always. They give free naan that goes with some of the meals as well. The quality of the food is great like mentioned above. I recommend the mixed grills if you want a variety of different meats with rice/vegetables/potatoes. The naan is made fresh and it’s warm when you receive it. The service is great and the servers understand the menu options and like what is recommended or popular. I’d recommend going to this place if you want a change of page for some Mediterranean.

Tasty and flavorful food. Came out fast and was hot. I tried the wings to eat there and got lamb and veggies to go for dinner later. Tried a piece of lamb while it was hot and was very good.

We ordered cauliflower fries and lamb shank. We wanted to order lamb kabab but the lamb had beef mixed so didn’t get to try that. Pita was hard so didn’t eat that. Staffs weren’t checking if we needed to order something else or need water or so. Wasn’t happy with the food nor the visit.

Food was as usual great! I love the consistency of high quality food. Definitely one of the best places in Charlotte for a great chicken shawarma. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the service. Slow, poor unfriendly hospitality service seems to be becoming the norm for restaurants these days. It definitely took away from the quality of our dining experience. And I was excited to share this place with a friend from out of town. I felt a little bad for bringing them here. Then my bill was incorrectly rung up with almost a $15 entree added. It went from $49 to to $64!! I almost missed it, then when I went to the waiter and cashier to inquire all he said was oh yea that’s right. Huh? What the hell? Are you expecting to cheat me because you think I’m not going to check. Unacceptable! If I make it back this way again it will definitely only be for takeout. Really sad about the lowering quality of service with restaurants these days. Everyone has a chip on their shoulder or just does not care to be kind, courteous, welcoming and HONEST. A shame. I’ll definitely be eating at home more often.

Eating their stuffed grape leaves tasted homemade ♡ they were both nostalgic and delicious! Their hummus and tabbouleh were also very good. It looked like their kibbeh was double fried, extremely delicious with their hummus, garlic sauce (like a garlic greek yogurt), and their tahini sauce. We even served warmed pita bread, the big pockets!! Not the small ones you see in the grocery stores. Absolutely delightful servers and owner. They were kind and thoughtful, keeping up with how we liked the food 👏 High key recommend this place 💖 Will definitely keep coming back here! 💞✨️

I, and my family, LOVE this place. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and always delicious. The staff is attentive and service is expeditious. I was grabbing a drink from the “coffee place” in the strip, and grabbed some cauliflower with lemon tahini and some Tabbouleh for a late lunch. You really can’t beat either of these, but the cauliflower is AMAZING. If you’re in the area, enjoy eating in or grab it to go, but either way, you won’t be disappointed. (Sorry about my half eaten food, but I forgot to get a good pic before I started devouring it.. but, you get the idea. ;) )

This is probably my favorite restaurant in all of Charlotte. Amazingly fresh and generous food portions, the falafel appetizer could be a meal all by itself. My husband is crazy picky and was just over the moon by their crispy chicken wings and delicious garlic sauce we asked for. I always order a salad with beef/lamb shawarma as the addition and get this crazy huge plate of what I call a REAL SALAD that turns into both lunch and dinner in a take out box. Don’t get me wrong either I am a gal who EATS. Finally a place I can get a healthy and worth the money salad while having my fill of Lebanese specialties. The prices are super budget friendly and really I couldn’t ask for anything more. For those who find the decor or whatever not good enough, stop being haters. This place is super clean and the staff is always friendly and sweet no matter what. I enjoy running into the owner/manager he is always so outgoing and treats his staff to Starbucks around the corner regularly. You have the family feel with this restaurant for sure.

Kebab-Je is Amazing! You want a good meal? Get the chicken shwarma hummus with 2 or 3 house made pita and chicken shwarma sandwich [I like extra pickles]. The hummus and pita alone is worth the trip. Savory heaven! Extremely filling and flavorful without being too extreme in any way. If you have not tried it, then what are you waiting for?!?

I did ask whether the Stuffed grape leaves were made in house. I was answered that “everything we do here in house” that was not true at all.... the two dozens grape leaves I got were from canned grape leaves that I could have bought from supermarket. Very disappointed.

We were there two times and two times they screwed up our order. Gave them a second chance but this time they have earned their one star review.

My experience here was bad enough to warrant my first google review of a restaurant. Went to this restaurant based off of the 4.7 stars in the reviews. Thoroughly disappointed in the food which was both poor quality and overpriced. Also, I have a strong suspicion that the desserts in the display case are from the Costco in the same shopping center...

The food is delicious (whether eat in or take out) and all staff are courteous.

Lisa took my takeout order and was very kind. She even wiped my card down after taking payment which was considerate for current covid times. As for the food, you get good sized portions for the price. The falafel, batata harra, and tabbouleh were all excellent -- those dishes alone are enough to make me want to go back. The grape leaves and hummus were just okay.

The place is not that good. Service was pretty bad, appetizer was taking longer than the main dish. The food is not amazing either. We've had lamb kabab/minced lamb kabab. The meat was pretty dry, "grilled vegetables" consisted of purely of sauteed zuccinis, rice had lumps of raising and dried cranberries. There are definitely better Mediterranean restaurants in the Charlotte area.

Service can be slow but food is really good

Neither Authentic Nor Mediterranean! Total disappointment. Food served cold, bread is packaged not freshly baked (for those who've been to 'real' authentic mid eastern grills). Rice and lentils were very sub-par and the meats were not cooked properly...All things considered (pricing, ambience and value) If you have had really authentic middle eastern cuisine you'd be very hard-pressed to find something good there.

Good solid food at a good price. I enjoy trying different items on the menu, though I DO wish they served beer/ wine. I was in the other day and was pleased to see ALMOST everyone working there wearing a mask for everyone's safety. The cook however does not seem to understand that for a mask to work, IT MUST BE WORN OVER THE NOSE!!!. Avoid if you're worried about Covid.

Mediocre food (maybe it’s just my personal preference - others may prefer it). Dine in experience could’ve been better with updated interiors but who am I kidding? Covid was probably rough for small businesses. Workers appeared tired/stressed but sanitation and cleanliness were well taken care of. Friendly and helpful staff!
