AMAZING FOOD!!! If you like Greek cuisine, this is the place for you! It is a family owned restaurant which just make the food taste even better. I’ve been there twice already and I’m for sure coming back. Amazing customer service too 🔟 /🔟

My sister nor I felt like cooking and decided to order Greek. This place had great reviews so I placed an order to go. We both got falafel plates and an order of the fried calamari. When I got to the restaurant the food was ready for pickup. I paid and left. I got back to her place and started with the calamari. I could've put it in the air fryer to crisp it up more but I was hungry and decided to eat it as is. Flavor was there and I enjoyed them. I was disappointed with the falafel plate as they're usually round balls and not flat patties. They were dry too. The sides were good though.

Very nice atmosphere and very good food. Shown are the gyro and the all american gyro burger. I’ve never heard of a gyro burger but my boyfriend said it was very good. Our server was nice. Dessert is also good. We got a cupcake. If you’re looking for a nice place to eat some Greek food I highly recommend coming here!

This is a family restaurant that is welcoming and has delicious food. We were looking for something new to try in the area and this was one of the choices. I had the gyro pita with feta fries and my husband had the Philly pita with feta fries. Both of them were delicious! They came out hot and the sauce was just right on them. The atmosphere was quiet and calm. I was able to have a video meeting and it was not loud at all. We will return for more great food.

Omg!!😋 The food was amazing, mouthwatering and absolutely delicious! 💯 I would recommend this place to everyone! By far the best gyro sandwich with hand peeled fries. Very authentic, so good we visited twice while in Charlotte. This place is a must!!

We had a great experience at The Mad Greek. This was a great “fast casual” type place and is now our favorite Greek spot in Charlotte. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The only thing that we didn’t “love” were the French fries. The Greek salad dressing has a hint of mustard and is very tasty. Grape vine leaves: 5/5 Greek Salad: 5/5 Greek chicken pita: 5/5 French fries: 3/5 (coulda been a bad batch) We will be back!!

First time going. The food was good. The Falafel was outstanding. Customer service was good. The hummus had too much garlic but still good. If I'm ever in Charlotte again in that area I'll stop by. Oh and the inside was a cute Greek theme. Plenty of options for vegetarians.

First off, I can confidently say that I had the best Philly steak pita here. Everything was well seasoned and the staff was very kind here. My buddies had fried calamari that was perfectly breaded and seasoned as well. If you've never been here, give it a go. That Philly pita with fries is money. Highly recommended.

Got take out of the chicken souvlaki platter. So delicious! My yiayia and former restaurant I worked at in HS never skewer veggies with the chicken but they were delicious. It was so filling — the platter came with chicken, veggies, rice, French fries, a full pita bread, tzatziki (I swapped for hummus!), and a large Greek salad. Will def be back with friends. This is enough for like 3 meals for me

We really wanted to like The Mad Greek of Charlotte considering the homey and communal vibes we got on entering the restaurant. However, we were disappointed for the most part. The food that we got—Chicken Pita and Veggie Pita with fries—was average, with the fries lacking any taste whatsoever, and the veggie pita being quite salty. The chicken pita was decent. The service was fast, and they were polite. We even saw a few flies buzzing inside the restaurant—their sanitation rating is 94, which while not being bad, isn’t absolutely the best either. Parking is available outside, and the seating area inside is of average size. I hope they improve their food.

The food was excellent except for the fries I am not a fan of shoe strings but to each his own right. Apps and dinner were great! Very attentive staff. I do wish they had a better selection of adult beverages though. Maybe something inspired by Greece since not all of us can afford the luxury of going there in our lifetime. The side salad though, omg it is big enough to be a full meal. I couldn't order anything with the side salad or I never would have been able to eat all my food. Overall a good experience.

Good food, quick service. Decent portion sizes. Fair prices and quality. Will be back. Drink side and meal after tip can be $12-16 per person. Standard for the area.

Looking at some of the other pictures, I'm not sure if they were having a bad day or what but my food surely did not look or taste like what was mentioned in other posts. I was so excited for my food to arrive, I ordered gyro and spanokopita. And unfortunately, when I opened the boxes...pure disappointment followed! First of all the food was cold, the meat is sliced super thin, literally almost see through! And it tastes like nothing. The spanokopita, looked okay but tasted like straight up salt. What an utter waste... left such a bad taste in my mouth can't say i'd consider trying again...

First time visiting and will now be the only Greek restaurant that we will go to from now on! I have grown up with a Greek community, eaten at many Greek restaurants across many states, and even have two close friends who also own Greek restaurants of their own so with my picky preferences, I chose to drive an hour away for true authentic Greek food and was absolutely impressed with Mad Greek! I will have to admit that this has been my favorite restaurant of them all!! The Grecian delight gave us a platter of our favorite appetizers, my rack of lamb was so tender, juicy, and freshly marinated. My husband's chicken souvlaki was divine and our picky children loved their salmon and calamari! Our waitress was so kind and patient with us and the owner (I believe) even welcomed us and greeted our children with chocolate bars! We also loved the outdoor patio area as we're still trying to remain safe from Covid. Thank you so much for such a delicious meal and for providing such a welcoming and safe environment for my family to enjoy!! We will definitely be back very soon!!

My Greek great grandmother would have loved this place. Very delicious authentic Greek cuisine! Absolutely no complaints; left very happy and full. Even took home a “cake of the day” slice.

1st visit. Great service and food. I had a chicken pita. My husband had a 3 meat trio. The allowed him to sub more Gyro meat for the pork. The falafel, and spicy feta dip were good.

Best Greek food I've ever had. I loved the lamb gyro meat and the pitas here are the best I've had yet. I tried moussaka for the first time here as well and it was fantastic, even though I'm still not quite sure what it consisted of.

Food was good ordered the chicken gyro didn’t like the fries at all. Loved the tzatziki sauce. Customer service was quick and workers was friendly. They offer dine-in and have a patio. Haven’t tried anything else. All food pictured below, like this review if it helped.

1st time the staff was very nice and accommodating. The food was fresh, and the salad was really good. The Lamb was good( a little small). Overall , it was good. I would go back and try a chicken dish.

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
