My husband took me here for our anniversary and I was blown away!! Everything was delicious from the drinks to the dessert. I got the old fashioned as my drink and the way the bartender mixed this drink was perfection. They added an orange and cherry flavor that elevated the taste of the old fashion. The yeast rolls were so moist and warm since they are made to order. I'm not a big eater so the small plate was enough for me. I ordered the pork belly and the way the potatoes and apple flavors mixed with the pork was divine. I don't know what sauce was used but it was delicious. The waiter had an extra fried cauliflower dish and my husband was nervous because he hates cauliflower and it tasted so good. It was like we were eating orange chicken and was very impressed with it. My husband had the Spanish Octopus which was good but the pork belly was better. We had a strawberry dessert that was so simple but so intricate at the same time. Kudos to the chef!! I wish I could taste everything on the menu before it changes. I highly recommend this place. All items are pictured below.

The service was good. While they recommend 4 to 5 dishes per couple we had 3 plus dessert, small Gem salad, very fresh and crispy, Agnolotti with mushrooms, etc creamy, tasty and Boar Bolognese, a little tangy, I found the ribbons of pasta a little thick, good but I wouldn't repeat it The dessert was buttermilk pie, delicious. Regular coffee tasty, $4. The place is beautiful, really high ceilings, giant soft lamps hinging from the ceiling, wooden decorations. I'd like to come back and try other things.

Went to Peppervine to celebrate. First time there and had an excellent time. The space is so chic and the food was delicious. We enjoyed it all with the exception of the oysters. As someone from the coast I'm rather picky with seafood, and these were a bit bland. If you're deciding between the breads, definitely go with the scones. We ordered both because my husband isn't a fan of pimento cheese, but after he had one of the scones he kept coming back for more. See photos for food and drinks. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend reservations. 1. Yeast rolls (fork for size) 2. Pimento Cheese Scones (6 total) 3. Fried Oysters 4. CONCHIGLIONI PASTA 5. VERLASSO SALMON 6. Carmel Corn Cake 7. ZEPPOLE DOUGHNUTS 8. Espresso Martini and TONGUE THAI’D

This place is amazing. I am blown-away by the amount of care, attention to detail, and pride each person exemplifies at the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit for an unforgettable experience. We went for a girls night out and shared the small plates. We ordered the yeast rolls, octopus, mushrooms with popcorn grits, tuna tartare, and elote cauliflower. We also ordered dessert. Every dish was delicious...and I say this seriously, if you want food that sings...go to Peppervine.

Great service and lots of unique, sharable plates. The restaurant is themed around picking out a bunch of small plates and entrees to share. They also have a fantastic cocktail menu. Make sure to order some of the bread plates - their pimento scones are one of the best things on the menu and the yeast rolls are also too good to pass up.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here for a special occasion. Our server was truly amazing, I believe her name was Kelly. She offered great recommendations (go for the Mushroom Agnolotti, trust me) and made the entire night special. The yeast rolls are also a must order. Their dirty martini was spot on and they topped the night off with a delicious and perfectly sized key lime pie to celebrate. Loved this dinner and will certainly be back.

Great host. Great manager who understands hospitality and approaches every guest as if it’s his home. In a day and age where it seems like restaurants are doing us a favor here you’ll be greeted with a masterclass in hosting from the manager. On the way out it was the same to the point where I felt like a celebrity. The food was amazing on all front. The octopus was a little heavy handed on the salt. When this happens you miss the opportunity to taste the true flavors and it becomes overwhelming. Everything else in the other hand from pimento scones to the large plates were amazing. As you already know… it’s all in the sauce. My guess is a sautè chef is on staff or the head chef takes the time to support the sous chefs. Either way you end up winning. Great night. Perfect for anniversary, simple hangout or just to grab a bite. I personally enjoy ordering cocktails and getting every appetizer and sharing with great company. Book a night you won’t regret reservations are a must.

Came here for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! We ordered two small plates, two large plates and a dessert. It was more than enough food to say the least and it was perfect for sharing! We ordered the black bean hummus, pork belly, boar bolognese, Szechuan noodle soup with braised short rib, and a lemon tart with blackberry sorbet. The drinks were good as well. The service was also great! Our waiter was so thoughtful and brought out a tide pen when he saw my husband had gotten pasta sauce on his shirt! Would recommend this place for a nice meal out!

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had the privilege to enjoy. The service was top tier, professional, engaging, and made it feel as though the focus was solely on your table. I cannot speak highly enough about this part. It gets better - The food is extraordinary. Starting the night with the freshly baked to order yeast rolls was a perfect intro into the level of detail and care each dish receives. Followed by mussels and cauliflower, the evening continues with exquisite dishes packed full of flavor and executed to perfection. My main course was their 24 hour short rib which, if you do not try is only a disservice to yourself. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the quality of the libations available and the extensive wine list to choose from. Top tier stuff folks! Whether it be for a celebration or for the sake of enjoying good food, Peppervine needs to be next on your list to try! This is the kind of place you write home about!

Atmosphere is calming. Music & lighting were perfect. The menu requires some foodie knowledge, or access to Google! Everything was very good. There was quite a wait between first plates & main entree, but other than that a very enjoyable experience.

Went to Peppervine for dinner last Friday. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. They have a very nice wine by the glass selection and we went with the Pinot noir and a valpolicella. Started off with the yeast buns which were perfectly baked and salted just right. For appetizer I ordered the tuna tartare, which again was perfectly seasoned with the right touch of cilantro and citrus to brighten things up and my friend had the general Tso's cauliflower and said it was great. For main course, I had the coq au vin that was very tasty and moist with deep flavors and a nice jus. My friend had the grilled mahi with the pearl couscous and shitake mushrooms and said the fish was cooked just right and the sauce paired nicely. Service was prompt, responsive and proactive. Water glasses didn't need to go half empty to be refilled and we never felt rushed. For dessert I ordered the plum tart and I found it a bit heavy on the frangipane and lacking in plum or lemon curd. I was expecting a tad more acidity, I guess. Overall a great dining experience in one of the most exciting restaurants in the area.

Fantastic meal from start to finish. Very modern, clean atmosphere. Acoustics are very good. Even though it was very crowded it didn’t seem loud and conversation was easy. Our server Brannon was excellent. The food was amazing. Everything was very balanced with the perfect amount of seasoning and acid. Portions were the perfect size. Extensive wine and cocktail list. Decent beer list. Highly recommended.

It’s a cool place with a modern layout. This is a tapas restaurant so be prepared to order 2 small plates and maybe one bigger plate. We were a party of 4 and ordered 4 small plates and 3 larger plates with 2 deserts. We shared all plates so we tasted a bit of everything. However, the four of us thought the portions (for tapas) were smaller than comparable tapas restaurants; and higher prices. But it all tasted good. The service is superb and the wine list is pretty impressive too!

Fantastic service. Beautiful ambiance. Delicious food. The small and large plates were excellent. We had the fried oysters, pork belly, 24-hour beef short ribs, and NY strip steak. The desserts were a bit disappointing. The tres leches and toffee cake were both on the dry side. Presentation was lovely though.

The place has a cool look a feel, great service. The dining room feels a bit tight, would want sit closer to the bar here. Great wine list, pricey domestic bottles, old world wines are better bang for the buck. Food portions to price made sense, loved it was a nice portion. The octopus took top marks for us, and could have ordered all the main courses. Great experience.

We went for a spur of the moment date night. My husband travels a lot for his job and gets to go out to fancy restaurants on the regular. I do not though, so I felt like maybe I was owed a bit. Peppervine did not disappoint! We had the yeast rolls (so f*cking good, excuse my language), the cauliflower also amazing and I had the short rib and my husband the newest dish the airplane chicken. The short rib was amazing, potatoes were perfect, gravy had my husband drooling for more. His chicken was super tender and delicious, though he said it was the teeniest little bit underwhelming compared to everything else. I also got a pear martini which was insanely good and did the job. 🤪 Ambience is lovely, and of course be prepared to spend some $$. Totally worth it and delicious!

The restaurant is beautiful. I love the art setup as soon as you walk in the door. We went for our 6 year anniversary. The dishes were plated with precision. The yeast rolls were fresh, fluffy and delicious. The salad we ordered had a lot of vinegar on it. And the greens that came with the ribs were very tart and had too much lemon. The fried oystwrs were DELICIOUS! Crunchy, breading had just the right amount of spices, and it tasted so fresh. We really enjoyed the chicken and steak. Both cooked perfectly, flavored great, with a variety of textures making every bite melt in your mouth. The buttermilk pie is tender and a perfect end to your meal. Overall great experience. Would highly recommend.

I didn’t love the food (ceviche- very cold nearly frozen still, octopus - too chewy, pork belly- very unique in Alabama white sauce, good, just too rich for my taste buds) but the service was great. Loved the tequila flights. I also really enjoyed the yeast rolls and dessert doughnuts.

Had a dinner here with visiting family and everyone enjoyed themselves. For vegetarians would recommend the mushroom pasta, cauliflower dish and beet salad. All 3 were big hits. BBQ ribs were good as well, and the fresh rolls and cheese scones are a must! Drinks were great also! Overall great experience! A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Will definitely revisit!

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good.
