We live an hour away, and we used to come every three months to buy a lot to treat ourselves. There wasn’t one time when something wouldn’t be thrown out due to low quality. Throwing away a jar of mushrooms for $15.99 or a jar of a fish roe for over $20 isn’t a joke. Prices are much higher than other similar shops. New associates are rude. You can’t take anything at the deli section by yourself. You are forced to work with an associate. Out of 5 ladies, only one worked with the client, and we’ve waited over 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. The lady was irritated, frowned upon everything, and didn’t know their own products. To sum it up: unfair prices, low quality and complete lack of service lately. We decided not to come back after all.

Check products before buying, moldy bread. No quality control - not the first time this has happened with moldy products.

Horrible service, long lines, rude employees, and the owner, Irina, who would argue with you and say that there is nothing she would do to help. Do not recommend! There are other Russian stores in town where you would not have to deal with this kind of low-quality service

I had the displeasure of encountering a particularly rude woman on staff. Her behavior left a lasting negative impression on me and undoubtedly impacted my overall shopping experience. From the moment I approached her for assistance, her dismissive attitude and condescending tone were immediately apparent. Instead of offering genuine help or addressing my inquiries with patience, she responded curtly and seemed annoyed by my presence. Her lack of basic courtesy and customer service skills were truly disappointing. Throughout my visit, this woman's impolite behavior continued, making me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. She appeared disinterested in fulfilling her role and barely acknowledging my presence at the checkout counter. 0 stars👎👎

This is the first time I have shopped at this place and now I know where I can get all of my European products from. It is like stepping into a shop in Europe. The deli meat selection is amazing. Make sure to buy some of the Salo because its amazing., along with the Polish kielbasa.

First time visiting this splendid market and will undoubtedly be 1 of many visits. So many items brought back vivid and fond memories of my Grandmother, who had a hundred and one concoctions and tastes I've missed. Next time I will have to ask the grocer for help finding things as there was so much to appreciate.

In the whole Mecklenburg county area this is the only store where you will find real Russian and eastern European food. We take a drive of 1 hour just to get snacks and drinks from this store. The selection of chocolates, snacks, drinks and teas is wonderful. I love to assemble chocolate baskets for my friends with lots and lots of different chocolates. They have the best brands for bread sticks a great quality fruit teas.

There is a saying: If you find something is not right - start with yourself... Thus, I am not sure where bad reviews are coming from... I personally found this store well stocked, employees are friendly and if one needs advise they are eager to help. I specifically like this particular Eastern European store as they offer good combination of items from regular and premium segments. As for price... Yes, some items are priced higher than in supermarkets. But this store is in the niche market. Supply always would be less predictable, warehouses smaller and transportation costs from warehouses to stores higher, hence you'll pay more.

I wanted to remove some items from their receipt, so when I get outside, the receipt is non-itemized. I go through and count them. I assume they gave me the three bags of buckwheat I ordered, at $24 each, which would've meant there was a $10 overage in my favor. I go back into the store and pay the perceived overage. Then I get home, an hour away, and discover that they had only given me two bags of buckwheat. I thought I was being honest and paying the difference, but I had actually been cheated, and being honest, got cheated a second time. I'll never return to this store, and hope the lost business and damage to your reputation is worth the stolen $24.

The older lady behind the counter was plain rude. Zero customer service. Was talking and awkwardly laughing very loud with another cashier, just in front of me. Then, she proceeded to speak to me with her mean ignoring attitude. Typical slavic nonfriendly babka attitude. I was there with my kids. Otherwise, I'd put her in her place. She only had one job--to serve customer. Well, you lose my money now. 2 stars here for гречка I bought, 😆.

I am curious whether the owners of the store support Ukraine and condemn russian aggression. It’s important to me as a Ukrainian that the stores I shop at have sound judgement. 🇺🇦

Great place. My family loves it and the workers are really nice. Great variety of meats and different candies. Owner is very nice when I was there and the workers were too. I recommend this place to everyone. Please go

I decided to buy some food that I couldn't find in other supermarkets. It's not a bug shop but I could find buckwheat, nice Russian chocolate, wet cheese feta, turkish delights and some medicine that I got used in Ukraine. There're a lot of other things that you may like. Next time I'll try caviar as well. Personal is very helpful.

I was loyal customer at this store, even with small accidents I always give a chance to this store. But today was the last drop of my patience, unfortunately… I called to the store and simply asked about medicine for my son, the lady if I can call her that was rude and even didn’t give me a chance to tell the full sentence. I don’t ask her for recommendations about any medications. It’s ridiculous!!! It’s horrible customer service! I called after that to other international stores and they were so nice and kind!

Honestly, this place surpassed my expectations. Service was outstanding. Assortment is huge - even some products from my home state in Russia, which I haven’t seen in other Russian stores. Everything is super fresh and up to date. Definitely coming back again. Awesome job folks - this place is a gem!

Fantastic store if you are looking for authentic Russian produce. And if you don't know what a tvorog is, helpful and courteous people will explain 😁

Will never shop here again, none of my friends as well. Idiots make you wear a mask. If they like to breathe their own exhaust let them but do not make ur customers suffer. Lots of products out of date. Terrible
