So this morning 02-05-2022 Saturday morning I went to the Charlotte restaurant depot to shop for my food supply for my sushi bar , everything was fine until this black woman approached me with her phone trying to take a picture of me without my consent while I was trying to open a case of tuna to see how the tuna looks inside the case because there is nothing showing how the tuna looks outside the case . Then I asked why she was trying to take a picture of me she said “you can’t not open the case” then I asked her why can’t I open the case because I want to see what I am buying then she replied“if you open the case we have to throw a way the case” but I saw a lot of cases are opened like this in the picture that I provided. Then she said “there is a sign” then I replied “I didn’t see it”because The sign was hand written on the metal shelf which covered with some plastics material. Long story short I went to see the manager on duty and let the manager Know what was going on.This need to stop, trying to take picture of the customer without their consent is not so good for restaurant depot’s business.

Worse restaurant depot I ever been in!!! Today I make a complaint with the manager about how unsafe I feel every time I come to buy here due the people who drives the forklift car and move around the store like crazy, really fast, like they are in a highway, just crazy! The manager was just careless about it, just said they never had an accident, I’m assuming they just waiting to have one to take care of the situation! I have been a Client for over 10 years and I have been in severas restaurant depot in the country, only 3 years in this location, all the time i come here is the same! they don’t care who is around just running like crazy’s and beeping around the store, definitely do not recommend it, they just don’t care about their clients! And don’t even talk about the supplies, always out of stock and messy.

The employees there are rude and think they are some kind of special. If you hate your job that much, Then please find another line of work. If you are gonna talk to ur customers with no respect n walk away talking smack cause its ur job to help ur customers, then do us the pleasure of staying home.

It was my first time going, there was a lady worker there with a beanie that was so rude!!! I felt so uncomfortable every time I had to go into her section because she gave me and my friend the NASTIEST look every time we tried to grab what she restocked. She would stand behind us and not say excuse me or anything and just wait for us to move. She then grabbed a mans cart very abruptly because he was passing by her and she was trying to organize the boxes. She was the absolute worst.

They need more organizing this place. I see the stuff everywhere.. I don’t have no issues with cashier but they look mean. Look so serious. They need to hire more polite ppl.

For trucks: Delivering here is total waste of time. They told me to park and wait them to call me. I waited hours and hours before someone came out and told me to get to a dock. Make sure you get here as early as you can since it can take you 4 to 6hrs to get unloaded.

Bought 50lb onion bag and almost 75% of it was rotten. Really disappointed. This is the 2nd time, we had the same experience in Dec 21. I’m thinking not to buy onion from this store ever again.

They work 💪and offload fairly quickly that being said We got here at 4am 2 other trucks and us were backed in and we all 3 had to pull out Reason being is they unload the local drives first at luke 5 and 6 am so park over to the left and check in with them in between 5:45 and 6 and they will give you a door. They do let you use the restroom Be safe and may The Lord Jesus Christ bless you

The only reason I come here is because I have to for work. If it was up to me I’d pay extra on items to have a better shopping experience. This place is a hot mess. Disorganized, chaotic, gross, & uncomfortable. I can’t be the only female who is regularly made uncomfortable by the staff here. Im tempted to start coming only dressed as a man so the people there stop making inappropriate comments to me. I try to avoid one of the managers there as much as possible cause he eye balls me when i wear shorts in the summer & occasionally makes comments. I absolutely loathe coming here. The only positive here is the prices & some of the women who work at the registers are great & always helpful. Otherwise avoid this place if you can.

This place is very bad for customer service and they overcharge me I buy a case of zucchini $16.00 and they charge me $56.16 went a came back to let them know they tell me we are close we can’t do anything came back tomorrow so I came back to next day and the customer service tell me I can not do anything and they dot help me, many other products have overpriced wen we pay I recommend checking your bill before you leave this store they rob me $40 dollars

First come first serve type of place, it’s a tight dock and small. There is parking here which is also small to maneuver into. Took them two hours and 40 mins to unload me.

Don't come to this place if you are in a hurry!! I'm just really shocked that know one has gotten hurt!! The forklift roll throughout the store constantly and if you're not watching they will almost run you over. I went there today to get a case of fries. So I stop by the front desk to ask the young lady if they had any seasoned French fries, well to my amazement she said no!! So I go back there and ask the guy working the freezer if they had seasoned Fries, he said yes a whole pallet full! I went back up there and thank her for lying with her rudeness!!! This place needs some help from upper management bad. The credit card machines most of the times do not work. The cashier all acts if they have been drinking pickle juice. I just wish that the Chef Store was closer. The two stores are night and day. It's sad that you hate to go there but you do because they are convient. So this is just my 2 cents. Whike you're waiting In line all you hear are complaints of how slow and unprofessional this place really is.

It's very bad. Some of the staff here have counted more items many times. When I told a man who seemed to be a manager that he was very impatient every time, and asked me to move one more by myself, because I already had a lot of things on my shopping cart, and I didn't want to return the car and get one more one more, because it was very heavy. I asked him how long it would take to refund, and he was bored. It takes 30 minutes. Obviously, it's your own staff's fault and there is no apology. It's too bad that this restaurant depot is the worst I've ever seen in the US

Turn in on Hargrove off of Wilkinson(74). Docks on the left. Lots of room to turn around, unless there's trucks staged. But still plenty of room to negotiate into a door.

A chefs worst nightmare. An absolute mess. So much to be cleaned and organized in every aisle. I turned a corner and saw about 4 employees just sitting around and chatting doing nothing. Employees were not helpful at all. *Make the trip to US FOODS CHEFS STORE to get a way better shopping experience*

I'm not sure how kids are allowed in this store with the fork lifts flying all over. This is not a retail store. It is a supply warehouse. Even in Lowes/Home Depot they have to block aisles where fork lifts are actively working. This is an accident waiting to happen.

Restocking of the shelves and in cleaning mode. I've always liked going in and getting items that were not in season and also getting everything else I wanted and needed in when my family and I shop there. Looking good guys! Thank you!!!

This was my 3rd stop all restaurant depots and this one had the best service. Charleston SC had bad service so did the Greenville SC location .

TRUCK DRIVER……had a delivery here, not bad at all. The lot is big enough to back up to the door without a problem. They dont take too long, there is a lumper fee

Bring a jacket, UNLESS you like it cold! I dig it your basically walking into a warehouse refrigerator/freezer but just be mindful. Anyway, they di have a large selection of everything to make a catered event have an assortment of treats.
