Seated immediately for our reservation. Place was clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we had a view of the dishwashing area. Server was attentive, a little hard to understand, but started the up-sell with the water. Drinks are strong from the bar. Appetizer took a while for the kitchen to put out. We went with server’s suggestion of bread with chopped tomatoes but it was painfully salty. The apricot jam on the chef’s board was delicious though. We had ordered a steak paella with a medium temperature but it mostly well done. Rice was delicious.

The Cosmo was sweeter than it should be. My husband liked his old fashioned. The grilled octopus (the reason we chose the place) was well prepared. I do believe it should be paired with something on the tart and/or salty side... Rather than the sweet corn puree. The food was good, but there's definitely room for improvement with the plating. Overall it was a pleasant night out.

I had dinner date a couple of weeks ago at Bulla Gastrobar and I was already impressed from just walking in the door. The lighting and ambience in this place is romantic and beautiful. We were greeted by two nice young ladies and we lucked up as this was a late date and got seated right away. My server was Bunny and she was amazing!!! She knew the menu very well and gave us some great suggestions and we enjoyed everything. She checked to make sure everything was going well and was very personable and genuine. The octopus was delicious, but best of all was the steak with mushroom foam. The patatas bravas were also fantastic! I was so pleased I spoke with the manager Krista to compliment my experience. She was was so gracious and welcoming I told her I couldn’t wait to come back. 5 stars all way around!

The food here was absolutely amazing. The chorizo stuffed dates and the beets that came with our appetizer were my favorite followed closely by the octopus. Our waiter was very sweet, as were all of the other employees we encountered. Management also came out and checked to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The restaurant itself has a very good atmosphere and the restrooms were incredibly clean. We will definitely be coming back!

Nice place. Good food. Can't go wrong with anything really. My favorite was the tortilla. I've never had one before and it sounded terrible but it was oh so good!! Bar service was ok. It was obvious one of the tenders was catering to a certain type of patron so I was glad there were two so we could get helped in a timely manner.

Great atmosphere to catch up with friends. Cocktails were excellent and the wine list was nice too. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The seafood paella wasn’t as good as I expected but not enough to effect the rating.

Such an awesome time! The food was phenomenal. We did the prix fixe which came to be about $30 a person. The variety of selection from that was delicious! I feel like you couldn’t go wrong w anything on the menu. Our server, Josh, was attentive and quick! We appreciate his professionalism and willingness to box everything up for us (bc it was so much food!). We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Charlotte next :)

My friends and I truly enjoyed our first (definitely not last) experience dining at Bulla Gastrobar. The food was excellent. We did the 3 course meal and ordered off the menu for brunch. All food items were made to order so expect a short wait. It is truly worth it. There were many different options for everyone. Our server, Shampayne, was very helpful and made sure that our mimosa tower was plentiful.

Bulla Gastrobar was a nice twist from a normal brunch spot in Charlotte. The type of cuisine helps sperate themselves from others. The pricing was absolutely remarkable for a build your own mimosas and the three course meal. Although, the service was a bit slow. We were accommodated for the versus dietary restrictions within my party. However, the food lacked a bit of flavor. Salt is a binder for a lot of other seasonings and without it; food rarely taste good. There wasn't any salt or pepper on the table and asking for it was like pulling teeth. Other than that, Bulla was definitely a place everyone should enjoy if you like brunch.

I highly recommend everyone to try this place if you are food lovers and like to have unique tastes experience. We tried the tuna tartare , calamari fry appetizers, and ordered their salmon for main dish, the appetizers were amazing and I am craving again to go back and try again. The salmon was good with salad and chickpeas, I feel it could be better with more seasoning. Their drinks were also great and will go back again and try more dishes. We cleaned all the dishes we ordered 😋

We went at Bulla last weekend with our friends and everyone were satisfied. Our server was nice. We ordered the : -Baked Octopus ($19) it was delicious and good price for it. -Summer salad was good as well. -The fried green peppers (don’t remember the real name) are delicious(appetizer). -I tried an cocktail with jalapeño, it was good (not too spicy , just right). We will go back again. Thank you!

Great outdoor patio. Nice selection of small and large plates for sharing. Each dish came out quickly and all were tasty. Our only complaint was the meatballs were lukewarm.

This was a perfect meal to end the year to! I sat at the bar since I didn't have reservations. It was NYE so the place was pretty packed (but not overcrowded). My linguini was creamy and flavorful and actually so was my dessert.

Great food, great vibe, awesome staff, amazing management. What more can you ask for. Definitely a place to come. The food is amazing and the cocktails are great! It was our first time and THE CALAMARI IS THE BEST IN CHARLOTTE!!! Hands down🔥🔥🔥

Really enjoyed Bulla! We did small plates and loved every single thing we got. The meatballs and ham croquettes were some of my favorites and then the bonbom coffee was AMAZING. Marian was a great server and even gave us something special for my husband's birthday

Man oh man I love this place! I left Bulla in a food coma, it was so good. My family and I ordered an array of dishes and we left every plate clean. 100/10 recommendation, just take a look at the photos of each dish. Alea was a great waitress, so sweet and friendly. Thanks for a great night!

3rd time visiting Bulla and each time, I do not leave disappointed. Celebrated a friend's birthday and enjoyed a mimosa tower and multiple apps and entrees. The salmon, the burger and pancakes are a fav! Our server Shampayne was also awesome. Very accommodating and attentive. We greatly appreciated it. Can't wait to come back!

I’m never disappointed when I come to Bulla. The food is incredible and the service is great. It’s, as a whole, a really wonderful dining experience. I love bringing friends who’ve never been before especially because the brunch 3-course is so reasonable. Sandy was excellent! Don’t skip the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes!!

Everything was really great. Arrived exactly at the time of our reservation and was sat immediately. Our server Nia was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our cocktails were tasty and beautiful. The food we ordered was the tapas style items and they all were very good. I’d say our favorites were the Brussels sprouts and Huevos Bulla. We had a very enjoyable time. The lavender margarita would be taken up a notch with a rim on the glass.

Thiago was absolutely AMAZING, great service and great suggestions. The Exec. chef came out and spoke with us as well, great personality and he clearly knows what he’s doing 💜 The seafood paella was unbelievably good almost brought us to tears 😭😂 and the drinks are 11/10. We’ll be back again for sure :)
