Glad Le's decided to open back up! Sad to see asian corner shut down. Still the best bahn mi sandwich in Charlotte. We ordered 7 sandwiches and they came out very fast. Can't wait to be back again

Quick drop in and worth the wait. Just bring cash they don't take CC. Also their Jerky was absolutely 💯 the best I've ever had.

The food is excellent, and the price is great! The sandwich tasted really great, and they gave it in a good portion. The taste of the chicken sandwich along with the vegetables meshes really well, creating an excellent sandwich. The mall itself is a bit dodgy, but the Le’s are not. The place is clean, well lit, and well cared for. There are few tables, but as most customers are doing “to-go” anyway finding a seat is easy. This place only accepts cash, so you can’t use credit cards. There is a nearby ATM but the fee is $2, half the price of the sandwich of this place so avoid the ATM and withdraw at your own bank.

I got the vegetarian banh mi! It was excellent, the bread was so freaking crispy and soft at the same time. The tofu was marinated really well, the adjust the spice to ur liking! Amazing 5/5.

The people were nice but The food was the worst. I ordered grilled pork banh mi and boba tea. Meat wasn't fresh at all and They gave me frozen tea. I know how boba tea looks like and taste like.. In my entire life . I never had this worth boba tea and banh mi.. if you are new to this place . Please do not come .. if you wanna try Banh mi go to South Blvd way better..Please google for boba tea or ingredients. I am so disappointed.

Hands down the best Bahn Mi I’ve ever had. I had the Vegan Bahn Mi and it was delicious. They use a “beef”-like soy substitute for the meat and it is seasoned perfectly. The first thought that came to mind after eating that first bite was that this must be the freshest sandwich I have ever had. Every element of this masterpiece was impeccably fresh, the amazing bread, the crunchy slaw, the jalapeño and cilantro- FRESH!! The restaurant is in the Asian mall, it’s in a sketchy area- but trust me it is so worth it. 💵Also make sure to bring cash because they do not take credit or debit. 💵

Honestly, I don’t know what to say that has not already been shared. This place is phenomenal. Everything is just perfect from the baguette to a refreshing cup of sugarcane juice.

Cash only. Sketchy strip mall. No frills. Cheap sandwiches. What more could you want from a place? This place is the very definition of whole in the wall which is exactly why so many people love it. Great food for a great price. It's located inside the Asian corner mall. Go in the entrance on the right and then it's on the right behind the grocery store. We got the #1 Le's Combination, #6 Grilled Pork, and #8 BBQ Pork. I also tried a bite of my friend's #2 Grilled Chicken. They were all great. I would say the best classic banh mi in Charlotte. In order, my favorites were: #1, #2, #6 , #8. I really enjoyed how fresh the cold cuts were in the #1. The jalepeño seeds give them a nice kick too. As far as price goes, they're all less than $5. Our three sandwiches were $14 which included tax. You can't beat that. There's only 3 tables in the restaurant that seat 2 people each. Many people get their food to go, but you can stay to eat if you don't have a large group. I can't believe it took us so long to try this place. You can't go wrong with anything you get. Come give it a try!

We got the #1 Let sandwich, #5 cured pork sandwich, and #7 combination The sandwiches were good. The price was also reasonable for the size ranging from $4.50 to $5.50. Word of caution: we didn't realize there were jalapeno in the sandwich, which was an unexpected surprise. The baguette taste like the ones you would get from Jimmy john so chewy. I didn't like the pineapple boba; it was powdery sweet no hint of tart. The cashier all wore mask. It was good overall.

I got into Bahn Mis this summer. And I purposely waited to try Le’s knowing they had a reputation for being the best in Charlotte. I ordered the grilled pork Bahn Mi. The first thing I noticed after biting into it was how crispy the bread was. By far the best bread on a Bahn Mi I’ve ever had. Grilled pork and herbs were somewhat conventional but refreshing. Then I started to notice how much kick this thing had. And lo and behold some kind of green pepper is on top. At first I really liked the spice, and then I got to the middle and my mouth was dying with how hot it was (I recommend a coke to go on the side to cut the heat a bit). So while the spice was good, it was a little uneven in places, and I paid for it. All in all, I really liked the sandwich. And the guy who sold it to me was very nice and accommodating. I will be back!

Always have to make a stop when in the area. Great banh mi's. Small business that works hard and does their best to get out sandwiches. The quality and portions of their banh mi's are always consistent every time.

One of the best banh mi sandwiches in Charlotte. They only accept cash but the price of the sandwiches are insanely cheap while also being delicious. The bread is nice and soft, their meats are seasoned perfectly too.

Located in a dead mini mall/strip mall. Not going to lie, it was a bit eery wandering in there, but decided to give them a try and I don't regret doing so. The banh mi dac biet was a 4/5 (maybe 5/5 for the for the Charlotte area? Would have liked more pate and mayo) The people behind the counter were super nice. Given inflation, the prices per banh mi are pretty decent. I also tried the other highly rated banh mi place in the area, but I think the filling taste better here. Fresh cilantro and great tasting pickled carrots and daikon. The bread just needs a little more toasting if you ask for it toasted.

The Bahn mi are good here, the only issue is convenience. The place doesn't accept cards, only cash. This location will close soon because the mall it is in is closing. But I'm told they'll relocate close by.

The flavor is in the meat. But they hardly put ANY meat! Go to and stay at crispy banh mi. this place is all hype!!! Look at the pics! That’s literally 4 slabs of meat total. Crispy banh is HEAVY with the meat for the same price!!!!!! I hate that I have to eat this right now.

The best banh mi in Charlotte! My go-to is the #6 spicy (grilled pork). That bread is something special.

So good! Their bread is perfect and I love the fresh veggies they top their sandwiches with. Everyone in my family has a different favorite. We ate there before they moved and it’s even better now with the expanded options. Love their new bao’s. The vegetarian was so flavorful and not something I can make at home.

This was the first bahn mi sandwich I ever had years ago and it still reigns supreme. The customer service is always spot on and even when crowded the service is quick and speedy. I went with #1 and #4. I destroyed the #4 (pork and pork skin) as soon as I got to the car. The #1 was on deck for later. The inside of this mall is not the best but the sandwich is always stellar. The bread is always fresh and the toppings are always plentiful. I feel sorry for people who go to Subway when they could have this. Although I did not get this time the Vietnamese coffee here is great as well.

Le's moved. To the other side of that nightmare of a parking lot. I like the updated decor and vibe. Sandwiches still the best banh mi around. They also offer bubble tea and coffee. Now, they take cash and cards. Yes, there's a fee for using plastic which I'm vehemently against BUT Le tells you you're getting a 3% discount for using cash. That feels a lot better than the last minute hidden fee scenario. Glad to see them back.

I’m so glad they’re back! Best banh mi in town. Love their new location! No more walking inside of the Asian Corner Mall. Someone else posted that they made their boba tea wrong. They didn’t make it wrong, they just made a slushy style which is also good. The one thing I can’t get enough of is the pate. I wish I would have ordered extra pate on my sandwiches. Again, I’m so happy the owner is back in business. It’s so good to see the same friendly face of Mr. Le!

Don't miss Le's! I understand the owner is retiring soon, and hope to be back for many more visits before then. The sandwiches are so fresh, and the coffee is delicious, and it's really one of the best deals in town.
