It's been a while since I've been here and a friend of mine loves it, so we came back with her to try it again. We decided to share a bunch of stuff with 4 people and I think that's the best way to do it. We tried: - Big Mac Daddy Burger - Cilantro-Lime Marinated Chicken Skewers - Wood-Fire Grilled Spanish Octopus - Cast Iron Mac & 5-Cheeses - Sauteed Shrimp & Polenta - Chilled Wood-Fired Beets - Baked Spinach & Feta Dip - Homemade Spreads (Tzatziki, Hummus, Spicy Feta) This was way too much food for four people, but we loved it. My personal favorite was the beets. I loved the flavor with the goat cheese. Some other things I loved were the spreads, burger, octopus, and mac & cheese. I'd recommend coming during happy hour when they have a special price for all of the small plates and just getting them as your meal.

We went on a Saturday and it was very busy but the wait was only 30 minutes. The Mac n Cheese, Spinach Dip, and Grilled Salmon were my favorite! I recommend getting the salmon entree instead of the salmon salad. The rotisserie sandwich with chips wasn’t bad. Lavender Lemonade was very good! Overall, I would recommend and go back!

I have no idea why it has taken me so long to visit and eat here when I’ve heard amazing things about the place. I love the various options they have on their menu. They do cater to the meat-eater and the vegetarian. I tend towards veggie options so I loved that they had so many amazing choices. I also cannot have gluten so they have gluten free bread as well. The beet appetizer was amazing with all its flavors. The mushroom burger (GF) bun was lovely. We ate everything. I am definitely coming back here again

Great food. Simple but delicious. Coffee is pretty good as well. Might want to make reservations. It's not "kid" food even though the word "kid" is in the name. It is kids friendly though. Great atmosphere. Lamb skewers and lamb burger were great. Salmon and salads also good.

I absolutely love kid cashew!!! I was so nervous to try this place but I’m so glad I did. They have plenty of vegan options but I ordered the impossible gyro and omgg it was so delicious.. I also ordered the asparagus and those asparagus literally made me fall in love with veggies again. Also the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about menu items as well… the environment was fancy and causal at the same time. Definitely give this place a shot… You will not regret it!

I have visited Kid Cashew several times. The food and the service have always been consistent: excellent. Lamb kebabs and the lamb burger are amazing.

So different style of place. They don't do heat lamps or frozen goods so everything is super fresh and comes out as it's made so your food cones out staggered not all at once. Amazing flavor a must try if you like Mediterranean

Wow!! My family and I try a new restaurant for our family Christmas dinner each year, my brother suggested Kid Cashew and wow is all I can say! From the drinks to the amazing spinach and feta dip to the pork chops! Everything was just so delicious! We did not have one thing to complain about. It was so good I took my aunt and mom back two days later! Everything is so tasty, fresh and well prepared! Will definitely be back!

I had my first lamb burger in Pittsburgh at a totally different place and it was delicious...on the way home we googled this place for lamb burgers and it was the only place that has an interesting description of there burger. THIS BURGER WAS WAAAY MUCH BETTER!!! Imagine finding something better than the best you've ever had at home!!...crazy. This is definitely a place to come for a good meal. We sat near the plating area and saw every plate coming out and every thing was fresh and plentiful. They had rotisseries oven in full view and a grill that stayed smoking with aromatic meat. The prices are good here and the service was very good. The only thing that was lacking was the restrooms... had lines to get in....but they were unisex so you could use either or. We went on a Saturday around 2 so the crowd was good and the possibility of not getting in is very likely the later it gets so call ahead to check. Fully loaded bar and good parking on the side and in the back. Carry out or Dine in is available and the staff were all masked.

A friend took us here while we were visiting Charlotte, for some afternoon cocktails and food. Definitely recommend this establishment as the food was awesome. The atmosphere was energetic with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was fantastic, however one of the ladies serving seemed miserable as she was rude and was very unpleasant in her mannerisms. We even informed our server about her as we experienced her service while she bought us a few of the dishes we ordered. Besides that, we had a good time. This place is a must visit. We look forward to dinning here again.

The food was great here! I had a fantastic time, they messed up my order the first time but quickly fixed it. My only other gripe with this place is I wish they had more non-vegan options. Not everybody in the world is vegan and I wish this place would cater more normal people, if they expanded their menu with more non vegan food options I would consider coming back EDIT: I went back for brunch and the brunch was pretty good, small menu but the brunch made up for it, my review is going up from 3 stars to four stars. Keep it up 😊

Kid Cashew is my partner & I’s favorite spot - dined here back in August, and here recently this fall! Their food is tasty, fulfilling and you leave feeling good. Would highly recommend their Mac n cheese & spinach dip for starters. As well as the lamb burgers & lamb gyro! The patio is a nice atmosphere with some hanging lights - definitely a good vibe!

Picked this place from a long list of gluten free options in Charlotte and it did not disappoint!! The energy of the restaurant is so fun with an eclectic design and an open kitchen. We loved the decor so much! The service was next level, every one seemed genuinely happy to be there. They ensured me that food allergies are taken seriously and the menu even has all the GF meals/options marked and there were plenty!! We started with the chicken skewers and they were so flavorful, juicy and delicious! Our entrees were the salmon Caesar salad and the wood fired trout over quinoa. These were some of the best meals we’ve ever had!! They even had dedicated parking which was awesome as well!!

We stopped here for a little snack and they had a happy hour sort of deal between 2-4 I think. Service was quick and the happy hour options were plentiful. I love the chicken avocado chipotle skewers. So delicious, and my sister really liked the grilled octopus. Good healthy options! I highly recommend.

1.) Kid Cashew had a nice aesthetic. So I decided to sit outside and enjoy my meal. However, this affected my service partially because they were getting a rush. I was off in the corner so I was often overlooked. Yet, the server was pleasant. I will say the chicken could have been more seasoned, which would have made the All Natural Wood-Fired Chicken Avocado more flavorful. The Mac & 5 Cheese was good and creamy, this was my favorite addition to the meal. Overall, my experience may not have been the best but Kid Cashew is worth a try!

My daughter chose Kid Cashew to celebrate her Sweet 16, there was a slight hiccup in the beginning and we thought our plans were going to fall through due to a reservation mix-up, thankfully the manager and I spoke personally and she was so awesome and straightened everything out for us and accommodated our party. The food was pretty good, and our server was awesome. Thank you Kid Cashew for helping to make my daughter's birthday a memorable one ❤️

Cute, shabby chic atmosphere with a healthy but delicious menu! They offer a good variety of gluten free, vegan, and paleo options. The Chicken Skewers with an order of Brussle Sprouts did not disappoint. The sauces complimented the chicken perfectly. Full of flavor, the burger was huge and worth it for the price. Mac N Cheese Gratin on the side was a must try. Service was quick, we left happy and full. Location is also very nice, great for walking around afterwards!

After 10+ visits we have yet to be disappointed in Kid Cashew. Every item we try is always full of flavor, a nice portion size, and visually pleasing. Even during busy times we have always received thorough and timely service from servers who seem to enjoy their work. Their lunch menu is a perfect time to try new dishes with the Pick 2 for $11, which runs on weekdays until 3pm. The relaxing feel of the dining floor and patio, along with the comforting nature of the magnificent food, and very approachable price point, has made this one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Charlotte over the past few months. The Chilled Wood-Fired Beets are divine. The best beets I have ever tasted. The fiery char on the beets gives them a meatiness and really balances the earthiness while the goat cheese, oranges, and pistachios all create a uniquely satisfying bite. But you truly can’t go wrong with anything coming off the fire- charred pita bread, grilled meats, it’s all you could ask for

Talk about atmosphere!!! 🤩 I had the Salmon/artichoke Caesar vegan dressing and Andrew had shrimp and grits; they were both fantastic! And to top it off we had three-dollar mimosas, which always makes for a good time. The customer service was excellent our server did a great job even though her section was jam-packed.

Several visits to this cute restaurant. Each visit the food is consistently good. Specials are unreal as you get quite a bit of food. You can eat outside or inside. Service is great as well. Two of the managers are amazing however I can't remember their names. Shrimp polenta, mac n cheese are my favorites. I've taken friends on four separate occasions and they all enjoyed themselves.

So good, came here for brunch on a Sunday. Had grilled Spanish octopus as the appetizer (5 stars), and lamb kebab/gyro dishes (5 stars). The quality is fresh and the combination of spices and condiments are delicious - it all felt very satisfying and healthy. A great vibe in the restaurant and everyone looked like they were enjoying their meals. The service is also great as well. Will come back!

Great experience with our small family (2 adults and one toddler). We had delicious cocktails and yummy grilled mains. The side dishes were honestly better than the mains. Polenta and white beans were something I would order all the time. The toddler was super happy with a little pizza and coloring paper. Overall we had a great experience! Nice service and pretty patio for outdoor eating.

The food was great, service from our waitress could have been better. She served us dirty plates for appetizers and then scraped off the leftover dirt that were on the plates in front of us🤣😖 but the food made up for her weirdness. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Delicious! Except for one of the desserts that was hard to chew , but they were nice and did not charge for it.

  • 5/5 Scarlett C. 2 years ago on Google
Great place to go. They have daily drink specials (listed on website) and Mon - Fri from 3 to 6 ALL of their small plates are $6 which is incredible deal. Our server was super nice (Brittanie). Love the outdoor patio area. Plenty of fans to keep the air flowing and saw heaters for when it gets cooler. Food pictured: Avocados stuffed with quinoa Chilled wood fired beets with goat cheese Grilled octopus with quinoa Shrimp with creamy polenta

Great food, friendly staff with lots of parking. Had The Big Cheese - a two 1/4 lb wood fired burger with bacon, lettuce, mayo, tomato, onion, cheddar & American cheese, special sauce on a sesame seed bun!! Definitely worth trying out this place!

AMAZING!! If I could rate more than a 5, I would! We are vegetarian and have a hard time finding a place where the entire family can enjoy something but we had no issues here! My kids loved the impossible burger while the adults ordered a bunch of small plates and sampled. I have been trying to eat really clean and this place offers so many options that I didn't have to sacrifice flavor or be limited to few items! Prices are great and so was the service! We will be back next time we visit Charlotte!

The vibe, the food, the craft cocktails, the happy hour deals… wow this place is a home run. Everything was delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte so far! We will definitely be back.

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good.
