See photos. This bowl was not fresh and has some weird thing in the bottom. It looked to be prepared long ago and then frozen and taken out of freezer and sent for delivery. Gross. It had something that had frozen in the bottom - but it wasn’t water. It was of a plastic consistency. Worst thing is I tried to contact the store - left a message on voicemail AND emailed them. Never heard anything back. So hence this review.

The person who was working the counter at the food truck was so rude. I asked about the açaí bowl I ordered having nuts because of my tree nut allergy and then after confirming there wasn’t any, he made me a bowl with nuts on it. When I mentioned it politely he grabbed the bowl and threw it in the trash very angry. It would have been fine if they were nice about it but he made me feel very uncomfortable as if I did something wrong. Horrible service. Will not be going back.

Rico's Acai was a really pleasant experience. 1. The bowls are delicious! The fruit is very fresh and you feel great after eating these bowls. As others have mentioned there is not a great deal of Acai in the bowl! It tastes so good it leaves you wanting a bit more. 2. They are fairly pricey. However, the fruit here is a bit more fresh than some other places in the area. I think the prices are pretty good for what you get. 3. Customer service was excellent, however, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for our order to be fulfilled. They have outdoor seating so you can wait for your food or enjoy your order on nice days.

This place never seems to disappoint me. The last time I was in NC I googled acai bowl and found their little hidden truck and it was great then and it's still great now. Their acai bowls lack nothing! Beyond delicious, but; you don't have to take my word for it. More for me I always say🤤

This is an upscale food court with lots of innovative businesses. Tops for me was this Acai Bowl made by Rico's Acai. I think this product is the cat's meow. I had one for lunch while visiting Charlotte and I feel it constantly calling me back. Take the risk it is absolute delicious.

Best Açaí bowls in town. They put such a good amount of fruit on there even the expensive kind. I love they have grain free granola! 100% recommended!

Service was slow, associate was not very kind and the açaí is not a blended base. The açaí was literally frozen at the bottom of the bowl. Not truly how the bowl should be prepared. Between Hawaii and Southern California, this one rates lowest on my list.

Another great location for breakfast and or lunch in downtown Charlotte. Always a treat to eat a Rico's Acai bowl!

Incredible bowls! Had the butterbro and the berry bowl! Would’ve been 5 stars but listened to the male employee cuss out his female coworker for like 5 minutes for no apparent reason. Making all type of a scene and all the customers could hear. She was very nice to us regardless.

Been missing out! These bowls are amazing! Addicted! The 7th St market is full of goodies but Rico’s definitely takes the cake! The berry fruity was fresh and delicious 😋🙌🏻💯 Definitely be back!

Never going back As I was eating this bowl I found a worm stuck to a banana piece. Utterly disgusted will definitely be going to the hospital and talking to a lawyer.

The rainbow bowl is my favorite. All of the fruit is fresh, cut in small pieces and the Acai so refreshing. 🌈🍓🍍🍌🥝🫐

Out of acai 15 minutes before closing, or Staff just didn’t want to make anymore? Wanted to still charge full price for just the fruit, no acai. Staff members appeared to be hiding from the window and “didn’t see me” when I approached the window to order and rang the bell.

The food was delicious, but the service was even better! We had such a kind young person who served us. I think I recall their name being, Polly maybe? she made the food perfectly, and she made lovely conversation with us as well. such a good atmosphere.
