Mac Tabby cat cafe is one of our favorite places to go. They’ve got coffee, wine and cats so it’s pretty much like heaven. Here’s just a few things that make it such a special place to me 1. Kitty cats! All cats adoptable and vetted by the rescue they work with to ensure their cats are placed in a suitable environment that meets all their needs. Not every cat is a “cafe cat” but Mac Tabby’s cats are some of the most social/outgoing cats you’ll meet. The rescue and cafe does such a great job at making sure these cats are taken care of and going to the home they deserve. 2. Friendly Staff. You will always see smiling faces when you walk in and everyone their seems to really enjoy their job. They are very kind and helpful towards customers and the kitties. 3. Drinks! Definitely one of my favorite places for coffee. They have soooo many options to choose from and they can personalize almost anything you order! If you’re allergic to cats, you still gotta come for the coffee, because their cafe area is cat free and just a very cozy environment to relax and watch kitties from the windows. 4. Atmosphere and location. Mac Tabby Charlotte is located in the cool hippy like area of Noda. Very beautiful place to spend the day. The atmosphere of the cafe is very pleasant, spunky and comfortable. All in all I give this place 100 stars! You need to visit this place! You will leave with the biggest smile on your face(:

What a delightful cat cafe! I went during a weekday so I had the room to myself, though immediately a cat plopped into my lap so there I remained for most of the hour. The room is clean and free of odor, the cats are so friendly, they have enough places to escape. You can even order drinks from their little Cafe and bring them into the room with you. The staff were exceptionally friendly and I felt welcome.

I had a very lovely experience. I decided to go there while on vacation. The cats were so sweet! The cafe had a very cute and aesthetic setup too! Sawyer and Robert were my favorite cats. The drink I got was also very tasty! They have cute merchandise as well! If I am ever in the area again I will definitely go back!

What better way to get a serotonin boost? We took my daughter to Mac Tabby today for her birthday and it was such a great experience, friendly staff and you can tell the kitties are very taken care of. And the beautiful atmosphere is just the icing on the cake. Can't wait for our next visit.

The Cat Cafe is a amazing place to enjoy cats and meet others who like cats. You get plenty of time with the cats and most are super friendly. I don't like the prices though. The prices are way too high and it's just ridiculous to pay that much!!!

The best experience! Great prices at 8$ for 30 minutes of time with the kitties. I also enjoyed the match lavender lemonade. Make sure to reserve your spot early! If you like cats this is a required experience at least once! I also love they make sure to find homes for all the babies! All of the kitties were around 5-6 months. Also the only rule is you cannot pick them up.

WOW. This is a really special place. My daughter and her friend LOVED it! I’ve never seen any place like this! Coffee, hot cocoa, beer, kittens. And you can literally adopt the cats you’re playing with! Unreal! Really and truly, this is the ultimate “good vibes” place. Unless you hate cats…😬

Y’all!! Mac Tabby is a phenomenal spot. Clearly owned and operated by folks who are truly passionate about the work they are doing, and their second-story cafe, tucked away in a vibrant part of NoDa, leaves nothing to be desired. The cafe is cozy and offers incredibly good coffee for a great price, and the cat lounge is perfect. The mix of felines is wonderful, and the staff clearly love them and are providing top-notch care for this crew. Schedule a visit ASAP and enjoy this purr-fect spot in Charlotte.

We had a great time with the kitties. The staff was friendly, and you could tell the cats and cafe are well taken care of. We'll definitely visit again!

Drinks were great and the cats were really cool to hang out with. There were several kittens (youngest was 4 months) and a few adult cats with a variety of personalities; some were very playful, a few wanted to chill and hang out, and a cat or two wanted to observe the new people coming in; all of the cats were well socialized. There was an employee in the cat playroom to answer questions, which was really nice. The cats had bios and are adoptable.

I visited the location in downtown Concord and had the best experience. My vanilla latte with almond milk was so good, I had two. The employees were so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were all friends. And then there were the CATS! Omg. I had a hard time leaving once my time was up. Thank you so much for such an awesome morning.

What a fabulous little coffee shop! The drinks are superb and customer service is fantastic! This cafe is comfortable with all sorts of little sitting areas all decorated with cat themed pictures. For a few dollars you can even go into the cat room to play with cats. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful place! The drinks we had before arriving inside the magical spot that is Mac Tabby's were delicious. All of the cats are well taken care of and are very happy, social and all around lovable. We had a 30 minute slot and wished we had opted for the full hour. This is a must-visit when in NoDa!

Such a great place! A good-sized menu with small trinkets like magnets, earrings, and coffee - not to mention the friendly kitties you can play with! I had a great time!

My friend and I stopped by on a whim while visiting town. LOVED the cafe’s clean, welcoming environment, and of course the real stars of the show - the precious cat friends. We didn’t try any beverages but we could’ve stayed in the cat room all day long. It was really hard to not leave with a new furry family member… we will be back!

Loved this place- I didn't do the full five stars only because it was my first time being here and there were a lot of unsupervised kids present. I know this isn't strictly the cafes fault but I witness some children being super aggressive with the cats until they almost attacked. (Ex- shoving toys in their face, putting hands and fingers in their face when they're clearly annoyed, shoving toys in the employee only room where the litter boxes are, etc.) My only suggestion is allowing slots for people that are 18+ only, just to give older people time to unwind and interact/meet with the cats without kids present. Regardless awesome and friendly staff and great selection of drinks and cute kitties!

SUCH A FRESH IDEA🙀😻 This is Cat Lovers Paradise! I brought my husband here while visiting Charlotte in a secret date and he was happy as a kid:) Even tho, I’m more a dogs person, i have to say that life with cats is a game changer😹 I took lot of pictures!

This location is absolutely wonderful. It has great parking and is very easy to find. It has a beautiful entrance and you can see the cats right away. The cats have so many toys to play with and a variety of things to climb on. The employee even came in and gave us treats to give to the cats. Would definitely recommend and plan to return myself!

We have visited Mac Tabby several times and we love it. The kitties are so well taken care of. The experience is calming and almost therapeutic. Each time I’ve been there I’ve fallen in love with another sweet kitty. We have two of our own, and although I am not at a place to take home a third, we are able to follow all the kitties at the cafe online and see that they are adopted to good homes. We visited just a few weeks ago and the Cafe has had full turnover! That means each sweet kitty has been adopted! We love Mac Tabby and no doubt we will be back soon!

They are located upstairs of the building and have a good amount of space. You don't have to walk through the cats' space to get to the cafe if you are just going for coffee and to look. The staff was so sweet and quick. The shop is super clean and welcoming. We honestly had a great time.

Thank you for a wonderful morning with my daughter and her friends for her birthday! We really enjoyed the cats & I really enjoyed my delicious maple blondie latte. The lighting/mood/decor is so inviting- this is our second time here and we loved it. Very clean, attentive staff, with plenty of space for our group and another to pet & play. We will be back!

It's impossible to be in a bad mood at Cat Cafe! We stayed for an hour and relaxed and played with some sweet and silly cats. The staff were very friendly and easy going. The drinks were delicious. While it is a bit pricey, there are often Groupons.

Love this place! Get a cup of coffee, my favorite Blueberry Lavender Mocha. YUM, then go pet the cats. There is a charge for petting cats, but it is do relaxing. And cats can be adopted.

Didn't get to spend long here, but we spent some time talking to one of the people there and they were very helpful and answered all of our questions. The store is beautiful and I love the aesthetic. It has a boho, industrial kinda feel and there is art everywhere. I would recommend it to anyone in the area, but make sure to book time online for the cat lounge.

We really enjoyed our time at Mac Tabby. They have great decor, friendly staff, a good list of beverages, and a great space for the cats. The private hour with cats compared to the other cat cafe in Charlotte is more pricey, but Mac Tabby is open longer/more days and has a lot to offer in the heart of NoDa before and/or after the cat visit. They have a large room for the visits. If you don't book for a private hour, they are currently letting in 12 people per hour. It looked pretty crowded for my comfort during covid. Most people were wearing masks but not all and since they have drinks, folks are taking them up and down. Pre Covid, they let in 15 people per hour.

Support this business at all costs! The Cafe is amazing, super clean and trendy. Their mission to find cats a home is beautiful. And they definitely find homes for the cats! I think she said they found homes for an astonishing 846 cats last year! These cats loved to be played with and loved on. The environment they are in is Club Med for cats. We didn't try the coffee, because we JUST finished a coffee before we found this place, but I encourage you all to support them with purchases of food and kitty cat time. Thousands of cats will thank you with their lives... literally!!! Oh, and they let you play the guitar while you wait your turn to play with the kittehs! 😁
