First of all, this is hands down our favorite fried chicken, and this is the closest store to us. That being said, they screw up our order half the time. Today they got our order right, which was 24 nuggets and 5 tenders. I like the tenders because you can order them spicy and they taste and crunch like the fried chicken. But they are too thin and the chicken is tough in the thin spots. Our nuggets only come mild, and I wish they had been cooked properly. They were under done - the meat was cooked through but the crust was nothing like the tenders. Also way too many were stuck together leaving raw crust in between.

Popeyes has a very good chicken sandwich most of the time.They're just not consistent one day you go you may get a good one the next visit it may be totally different. I think it depends on who's working that day.

I favor Popeyes over other chicken fast food spots. Theirs taste better. I decided to try the mac n cheese and was blown away at how good it tasted ! It was almost homestyle tasting and not boxed and processed like the competitors'. I was ready for seconds ! LOL... Now on the other hand, they seemed to cut corners with their red beans and rice. They fill up the container (not to the max either) mainly with rice (see the pics) so you don't get equal beans. I asked for more beans than rice. According to the staff, it's pre-made with those portions. That, I'm not happy with as I'm not getting value for my money. Another thing is this location is ALWAYS out of something, even though it's nowhere near closing time. This time, they were out of rootbeer soda ! Who runs out of soda ? Ughhh ! Note - I gave it 4 stars for the chicken, mac n cheese and fast service.

I just ordered via UberEATS 1 of the worst meals I've had in a while. Even the driver told me to never order from this place. The chicken tenders were complete garbage, the beans and rice had a teaspoon of beans and barely cooked rice. Here's your future Popeyes: kill yourself! Release your workers and go quietly into that good night. You have no future! Your food AND service are TRASH! 🤢🤮

Walk inside and wait in the line to give my order, stand there almost 10 minutes with multiple workers looking at me. Finally someone said, we aren't taking any inside orders, drive through only. I said well, my work truck is too big to go through the drive through. They shrugged their shoulders turned around and walked away. They could've handled that ALOT better. Send in a customer service training team.

Drive thru line took 20 minutes before I got to order. Sat stuck at the speakerbox for 7 more minutes. That said, they got the order right and it was piping hot. Not a fun job and the line was wrapped around the building. Wish they had tip jars at fast food.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Just TWO DAYS AGO… the health inspector came in & found the chicken at unsafe temperatures, not in the refrigerator. Coleslaw also at unsafe temperatures. BUGS FLYING INSIDE THE KITCHEN & REFRIGERATOR!! Lastly (as if I needed to say more)… mold & build up in the ice machine!!! AGAIN DO NOT EAT HERE!!! GO TO A DIFFERENT POPEYES!!!

Today was a special day. I was able to break bread with POPEYS off Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte. The young lady taking my order at the drive through was polite and even though it was barely after 11am the cook expedited my order. The chicken sandwich was fresh, hot and delicious. The fries and sweet tea were wonderful as well. Thanks Popeyes for hooking me up one again!

Employees are so uninviting. Always on their phones are appearing to be busy doing nothing. Young lady last night never asked what I wanted. I assume she would take my order. I felt as though she didn't want to be there or was interested in satisfying the customers. It's just horrible. Chicken was fresh..

Went to the Popeyes at 7pm on 10-28-23 . I had to wait literally 10 mins in the drive thru for the drive thru worker to say something through the intercom. When he came to the intercom I was informed they only had chicken breast no legs or thighs which is unacceptable considering you ordering from a chicken fast food chain.

The drive thru line is the ONLY reason I'm giving a 4 star rating....it was long and slow. But I was happy that I waited. The young lady with dreadlocks at the window had great energy, was very nice, and helpful, despite that there was only her and the cook working. The blackened chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese was surprisingly tasty. As well as the mango/lemonade. I've never been a fan of Popeyes, but this visit to this location has changed my mind!

I rarely eat fast food but the fried chicken was amazing. The meat was cooked all the way through and the crunch was as desired. I don't frequent Popeyes but while I'm in the area I will always go to this one.

I pulled into drive thru around 1015pm the automated system kicked on but nobody come on afterwards. They close at 11pm and there was no one in line. The food might be good but because of the service I will never find out.

The Wilkinson Blvd location is straight hood. Terrible wait time in the drive thru. The worker had an attitude when she finally came to the speaker. When I got to the window she was very argumental with me. So was very unprofessional. The manager walked up to tell her to get the line moving, all of a sudden "ok boo." "Thank you for coming today." I think it's so funny how people can shift their energy when their job security feels threatened. Boy, boy, boy, never again will I go to this location. I don't care how hungry I may be. It's just not worth it.

For the first time I had their chicken sandwiches and they were worth the wait. The fish sandwich that they have is bomb. I normally don't eat fish from a fast food spot however, Popeyes does their's right.

I cannot believe the cost of two 3 piece wing snack meals is 24.00. When they told me the price of this, I drove off. These places are outrageously priced and it would be complete lunacy to pay 24.00 for six chicken wings, two fries, and two soft drinks. I am going home and cook my own which is a lot cheaper than to spend the cost of two whole hens at food lion!

Mean and impatient drive thru gal. Asked for two lemonades, was handed one. When I tried to let her know I had asked for two she gave me attitude and I was already having a bad day so I just left. I’ll be sure to find a different Popeyes next time. This one isn’t worth it. Edited: just realized also that I didn’t get the sandwich I ordered, either. I spent a lot of money for some chicken strips and fries and three random biscuits. Smh.

The food is good. I have yet to come here and not wait over 30 min to get food. Even when there’s 2 people in the drive thru. I don’t understand how they can be so slow. You could read an entire book just waiting to order and then read a second one waiting to pickup the food.

I bought the frozen lemonade, which I loved. However, the service was very slow and my order was incorrect. I wanted a plain frozen lemonade. The lady asked if I wanted strawberries. I told her no. When I pulled up to the window I verified my order. I was given a frozen strawberry lemonade. Although it was really good, it was not what I asked for.
