Great time watching the reenactment. The cast were some of the friendliest and learned folks. The place was small and intimate adding to the event. Loved it !

The best and welcoming people I've seen for a while. We had a great time at the Mill, the products looks very good, can't wait to try our Peach Jam and grits. Also a lot of great explanations about the Historic Mill. I totally recommend a stop to meet these very nice people. Thanks again, from the French family :-)

Loved the passion the reenactors had. The attention to detail was great. Awesome place to take your little ones and teach them our country's history.

Went around at my leisure, met Mr. Bost who gave me some history of the place. Very interesting! Hope to take grandchildren soon! So much to see of the old time ways.

This place is absolutely awesome. My Dad used to take me here as a young boy and I always had the best experiences, I hope they stay around long enough to where I can take my future children!

Was closed on Wednesday, only open Saturdays. We just happened to meet the owner, he was very nice and opened the mill to let us look around. We were able to buy some grits & stuff and he said we were welcome to walk around. Very nice stop!

I was in need of stone ground grits. Found Bost Mill on Google Maps. Spoke with Mr. Bost and found out they are only opened on Saturdays from 10-2pm. They do accommodate you when not opened. Mr. Bost met me and my wife this morning to purchase 4 bags of their grits. Thank you Mr. Bost for such incredible customer service. I will update later after I enjoy me a bowl of grits!

Mr. Bost was the sweetest most accommodating man. It was a great experience all the way around. Amazing homemade for and crafts. The grits are the best.

Privately owned got to talk with some of the family today super nice. They maintain the entire site without the historical society. They were awesome with letting me walk around he said they would be open every Saturday and was trying to get the re-enactments back this summer depending on there schedule.

This was an awesome experience. We went for the Confederate reenactment. We where invited to have breakfast by some wonderful people at their camp. I tried hardtact for the first time. I actually like it soo I guess I really am wierd lol. Besides the heat and humidity that our lovely state gives us, it was educational, respectful of our history and an all around good way to learn from our past!!

Visited and stayed the weekend for a reenactment and had a great time. History was brought to life and the setting was absolutely beautiful. Love that they have a working grist mill! Will definitely be back in the future. Everyone was super friendly as well.

👍👍 My boyfriend and I came to visit Southern Grace Distilleries from Virginia. We were a little bit skeptical about going to a distillery that was previously a prison but I am surely glad that we went. DAKOTA/GEORGIA (insider 🤣) was our tour guide... She was very knowledgeable about the prison campus...

👍 Enjoyed the walk. River was beautiful and clear, water sparkling. Hot, but not overbearing. All the shade kept the trail cooler. Quite cool in some places. The only negative I can think of is: biting flies buzzed around me periodically both going out and coming back, bit me twice. Those flies are t...
