Our family of four spent two nights at this location. The hotel was clean. We could definitely tell that it was older, but taken care of albeit patched up over time. The shower door wouldn't stay closed and we had to hold the handle to flush the toilet. The front desk service was great. The breakfast hostess was amazing. Breakfast was above average for both mornings with plenty of options. There wasn't a waffle maker if you're looking for that. I did enjoy the change of having oatmeal with my choice of multiple toppings in place of the waffles though.

The SpringHill Suites was exactly as advertised and more. The five-star rating I gave was based on many variables and not just quality of hotel, it included access to highway, restaurants and quality of area. I arrived July 5, 2022, to July 7, 2022, and the hotel was clean and the room I was in was spacious and all the colors are neutral and modern. The room is soundproof, and you do not hear interior or exterior noises. There is a sitting area with tv, and sofa (also a bed) and an office area attached with a mini fridge and microwave, plus a great desk to do Zoom calls if necessary. There is a separate area with vanity and sink to a door dividing toilet and glass surround shower. There are laundry machines on site, and you have to use quarters and it's $1.50 each machine. The pool is great as it's enclosed and open rain or shine. The complimentary breakfast was good as you had your choices of eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese. There are also juices, tea and coffee. The girl working the breakfast service is super nice and accommodating and keeps the area stocked and extremely clean. It really is a nice touch in the morning to have this service. The area is amazing as there is a crazy number of restaurants from fast food to fine dining, and everything is close and convenient, and the area is very safe, and the free parking is monitored, and I had no worry about anyone breaking into my vehicle. The area is right beside the highway and is newly built or within 5 years and there are many varieties of stores. If you're into wine, there is a massive Total Wine within 2 minutes from the hotel. I hope this makes your choice easier in picking a great hotel. Kindest Regards and safe journey,

While the front end staff is very friendly and supportive, I had an issue with the room and reached out to Carrie Woods the hotel manager three different times with no response which I believe is poor customer service. My issue was that a previous guest had left her under garments in the room at it was on the floor which I realized when I stepped on it with my bare feet. From a sanitary standpoint it was not something I enjoyed.

Although staff were polite, my recent stay was not a very pleasant experience. Upon checking into our room, gnats were discovered. Gnats are typically attacted to food, flowers, garbage, odors, etc, none of which I bought with me in the very few minutes we were in there. We left to go get food to eat and the front desk immediately gave us a new room, which appeared clean. When we opened the refrigerator to place the food we had just purchased, not one, but two roaches decided to make their entrance known. I attempted to take pictures for evidence but wasn't trying to stick around for the rest of the family to sneek inside our luggage because we quickly left that room as well. We informed the front desk we were leaving because moving to a 3rd room was not feasible. The manager was only willing to refund me $40 OR extra points, I'm not sure how either helps to compensate our short stay because we decided to drive back home 3.5 hours at night versus having to experience this at another hotel. *Thank you for your response but I did not remain in your hotel for 5 hours. After we checked in, we were in the room for about 30 minutes and left to eat, upon returning is when the gnats were discovered and I do appreciate your offer to move me to a different room. After being in the 2nd room for about 2 hours is when the roaches were discovered. You mentioned management checking the room and did find gnats, did an exterminator come to the second room to find evidence of roaches? When I spoke to someone the Monday following my trip, I was told I would be compensated $40, although I wasn't pleased with this amount, I have yet to see that compensation or to be contacted regarding this matter. In addition, I was told the district manager would give me a call the next day, I'm still waiting on that phone call.

Stayed here a month for work. The staff is absolutely amazing! Great hospitality & love the personal touch of greeting me by name. I felt like family by the time I checked out. It was great to have a healthy meat choice other than pork for breakfast. Room was awesome & used laundry weekly. Location is perfect to interstate, restaurants, and shopping.

Spring hill suites are usually my go to when traveling for work or personal. However, this one was not like I was used to. The hotel was dirty, the rooms were rundown, and it is just not managed well. There was a group of kids staying at the hotel while I was there. They let the kids run up and down the halls and in the lobby screaming and yelling until midnight. I arrived to grab breakfast before I headed to work which was a hr before breakfast was supposed to be over and they told me sorry they were out of food and shutting down early. This not only happened one morning but two. Breakfast is part of the rate so it was frustrating I went to work without breakfast two days in a row. My room had stains in different areas, towel bars were missing off the bathroom wall, cracked tiles, and my most favorite thing was the remote had a broken back so it was wrapped in electrical tape. I have to come back to this area for work more and I will absolutely not stay at this location. I recommend you look elsewhere.

Overall decent place. Rooms were just OK. Furniture probably can use updating soon. Free full breakfast each morning was very nice. Service was great, and the location is amazing. Lots of places to walk and eat. Also, this is very close to Charlotte Motor Speedway.

We had a great stay. Very clean and great room set up. The breakfast was really good too. It was a little loud at times because of the guests, but other than that it was a great stay. Will definitely stay here next time we come in town!

Highly recommend! Stayed here with my mom on an overnight shopping trip and we both loved it. We were able to check in early and the room was super clean. There’s a great, hot continental breakfast with oatmeal, make-your-own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and various other delightful items. Check out was a breeze and staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

No kidding Dice Starr review. The facility, the cleanliness, the management, but mostly the people that work here make this place special. No one working here knows the word “Can’t”. It’s like each employee wants you, the guest, to just tell them what could make your stay better. Their part??? YES! We CAN!

Friendly staff. Ryan who checked us in was very helpful. Excellent breakfast with lots of options. Clean hotel. The only downside was that the trundle bed was kind of broken / mattress torn. Informed the front desk in the morning….hopefully will have it fixed soon. Overall a pleasant experience.

We had 2 rooms for our family. The set up had the TV with the sofa but the sofa wasn't real comfortable so we turned the TV towards the bed. It would be nice to have a second TV in the bedroom. It was also pretty warm in our room. We couldn't get cool. The AC wasn't blowing cold air. The other room had good AC.

The hotel could use some updating/maintenance. Our shower needed a refresh on the caulk as it was full of mold. There was also some water damage in the ceiling that was collecting mold as well.

When we first got to the location the rep was very nice Tasha, she greeted us very nicely. Then we went up to our room in 416, there was stains all on the couch and then there's was black stripe stains on one of the beds then the other bed had some kind of reddish-orange color on the sheets. Went back down to the Tasha and she was very helpful she told one of the hotel maids which then said that the stains won't come out and to just change the sheets on the beds. So Tasha was very nice and got us another the room 519. We moved into 519 next morning get up and notice there is was on the AC unit with dead bugs on top. Went back down to the desk spoke with Bernice and she was very helpful. She offered to change our rate to 151 for all three nights but she didn't do it for all three nights when I got my bill . The elevators were dirty, glass doors need to be wiped down. I will not be recommending this location to anyone. If I need to show pictures I can.

This hotel did not meet the Marriott standard. It clearly needs to be renovated. The rug had missing patches. The shower was pretty gross. The employees were great. It was super convenient for those traveling on 85.

Great location by a lot of shopping and not too far from the Concord Airport. The rooms were nice, but I could hear the neighbors late into the night. The breakfast was superb and the lady setting it up was very kind.

Hotel and rooms clean. Amazing staff support for all that was needed in every way. Highly recommend this location. Close to nice restaurants and such a short drive to outlet mall.

Very friendly and helpful staff behind the desk and supporting breakfast in the mornings. Clean environment and adherence to COVID protocols to keep guests safe. Room was clean and just what we needed for us and our grandchildren to stay. I'm sure we'll be back.

Stayed here on our road trip from NY to TN and loved it! The rooms were nice and spacious, and we loved that the couch had a trundle bed for extra sleeping space! Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and it has a pool that was actually open (a lot of hotel pools are closed these days even tho it's summer).

My card was credited back the overcharge. I'm happier now & my rating is changed accordingly. Great rooms & friendly service. Traffic in & out can be a pain...the traffic light timing seems off in the area. Would definitely stay there again.

This is not the quality of Springhill Suites we’ve experienced. Pillow case was DIRTY. Had not been washed. Towel and floor had hair on them. It was poorly laid out and dark. I would never recommend this hotel based on the dirtiness alone. Gross.

The staff at this property are all great! Specially Ganga the night manager,go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, when we arrived Concord we called several hotels for a reservation around 3.30 in the morning but no one answered the only hotel answered Springhill, good breakfast and clean room.

Not a bad place to rest. Friendly and helpful staff, great location and a fair price. My room wasn't the cleanest though, with weird stains on the floor and couch. Bad ventilation in the bathroom causing mold on the ceiling and wall.

This is a great hotel! The rooms were very clean and so was the pool. I forgot his name but the guy who does breakfast every morning was so nice and helpful to get the know the area since we were staying here for the Coke 600 weekend. I recommend staying at this hotel. There is a lot of different options around but this is the best one.

If I could change this to negative 5 stars I would! We arrived early and came in to check our room status. The young black girl behind the counter was leaning on the wall swinging keys around her finger like a one year old . No greeting or anything. I told her we were checking in and she finally moved up to the counter. Had to ask her more than once to repeat what she was saying. Gave her our name and she finally replied that no rooms were available until 3. As we were walking out she thanked us for our membership. We came back at 3:30 to check in and there was a different person at the desk that apologized for the other girls behavior. I had every intention of canceling my reservation because of the bad customer service. We decided to stay after the gentleman checking us in apologized for the bad customer service. I received a response from the owner with the excuse that the girl is new. However, that is no excuse for no customer service. To take things a step farther this child was behind the desk when we checked out and was just as rude as the day prior to. No good morning, how was your stay, thank you for staying with us, come back soon. NOTHING! I stay at Marriott hotels more than I do any other chain because MOST times the service is good, even when there are hiccups in different areas, But this child is there for the check, not the work! She is not someone I would want to work for my company. I know companies are screaming for people to come to work, I understand but some people shouldn't apply nor should they be hired for customer service positions. She is one of them.

No daily room service. Stayed 3 days. Room was furnished with two towels. Had to ask for towels. Poor check-in process, not a good value.

The people at the front desk were very kind and polite. The lady who checked me in let me choose which floor I wanted to be on, noting that there was a group of cheerleaders in the building if I wanted to be in a quieter spot. I appreciated that! But... The room, a king suite, is very tiny and cramped. The sofa is as hard as a rock with no arms to lean on. The television remote has no button for a Guide or Info to try to figure out what's on. The only choice is to scroll through the channels and try to guess what show it is. How can there be no tv guide??? It's like it's 1980. Even back then we had tv guide magazine. I don't even have a list of what each channel is. Asking the desk for a paper guide or something resulted in being told "that's just the way it is." I'm not one to be petty, this is certainly not life threatening, but when spending over $100 on a room, it would be nice if I could not spend my evening being so annoyed that I decide to write a bad review. I don't think I'll come back to this hotel. There are plenty of others to choose from.

Wonderful people and place to stay at. Clean and nice on the inside. There's a weight room, indoor swimming pool etc. This place is worth the money. I enjoyed my stay.

Not sure if I would stay again. The couch in the room was stained, the pillow on the couch was dirty, you could see what looked to be some mould on the ceiling. Overall the room could have been much cleaner for the amount paid.

Standard Marriott/ Springfield setup. The suite wasn't very clean: we found spilled fries and other food stuffs ground into the carpet below the kitchenette table, random pieces of broken hangers on the floor by the bed, and hair (not ours) in the dresser drawers. Because of the pandemic I had wipes with me, and could remedy/ feel more confident about furniture and bathroom surfaces, but the floor grossed me out. I won't say I believe this to be typical -- we visited at the height of pandemic worker shortages, and we were told that due to staffing issues the room wouldn't be tidied/ serviced until we left. We were told we could ask for towels or other supplies, if needed. The breakfast bar was fully functional, and quite good. We could choose from DIY waffle maker, bakery items, several breakfast cereals, fruit, yogurt, and trays of hot eggs and bacon/ sausage. The fridge also had premade breakfast sandwiches, plus a microwave on which to heat. Coffee, tea, juice, milk we're also available, and a good number of tables and chairs, which were wiped down frequently. There's also a small convenience pantry, with items like microwave meals, toiletries, ice cream, soft drinks. You can charge those to your room. 20ish min from the major airport, and very close to the regional airport, there is no shortage of restaurants nearby, including grocery store, gas; very convenient to the highway. Distances are spread out, so you'd do well to have a car. The first day I didn't have one, and successfully caught an Uber, and had an UberEATS delivery to the hotel, without unusual waiting. In terms of cleanliness, with the worker shortages I believe my family's stay to have been unfortunately unusual. I would definitely be comfortable to stay here again when visiting family, to give it another try.
