Rooms are VERY dirty. Have found several hairs in the bathroom and on the dispensers Eyelashes and hairs on the sheets. The hallways to the rooms are stained and dirty. Bed is saggy. Refrigerator is leaking. I can't believe this is a Hilton. Seems like a motel 6.

The Hilton hotel chain is our "go to" when we travel. This is the first time that I was disappointed in my choice of hotels. I checked-in late at night and the front desk personnel looked as if he walked had just walked in off the street. No uniform, white t-shirt with stains on the front of it -- not the standard that I'm accustomed to. He seemed annoyed that I was there to check in. His first comment to me was, "I hope you're not checking at this time". What??? Have the Hilton standards decreased to this depth? When I replied that I was checking in, he seemed to be annoyed even further. Thankfully the day manager straighten out the checking process and proper fees in the morning. The breakfast buffet left A LOT to be desired. The only food item that tasted fresh was the waffle that I made for myself. Needless to say, the following day, we ate out. Live and learn, I will never stay at this location again.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for three nights and was very displeased every night. First and foremost the front desk was very rude and not helpful at all, they weren't welcoming nor were they willing to even try to solve issues we experienced in their room. The ac was not cooking as expected, the toilet was quite literally shaking, and the landline inside the room wasn't working. Now we had asked the front desk to fix these issues, especially the ac as me and my husband couldn't sleep through the heat. We talked to two young ladies at the front desk who were supposed to call engineering and help us, this never happened. We then talked to the manager Chase who was just as condescending, he didn't even bother to try to help us and quickly sided with his employees who didn't care. Him and his staff went out of their way to falsely accuse me and my family of wrongdoings which never happened. Matter of fact we weren't even in the room for so long at a time, just to sleep and shower. All we wanted was for these issues to be fixed or for a quick room change, neither happened and I am very disappointed in the Hilton Garden Inn of Pineville. I was hoping to relax for a few days but I got the opposite of a relaxing stay. I would never stay here again nor recommend to anyone I know.

I was greeted up front by 2 trainees, the manager was out on a lunch break. This is at 3 PM which is the 2nd time period I had to wait 30 minutes for any service in order to access my room, once I finally got to the room I was greeted with hair all over the bed from the previous visitor. It looked like my sheets had not been washed and only one towel was in my room, it was for the floor. I had a request shampoo conditioning and soap. This was one of the worst hotels I've ever been to for the price. Price. It was no better than a super 8, however prices ranged from a $100 plus.

Looks dated. Bathrooms floors were sticky. Dark dirt between tiles. Water has no pressure - was very hard to shower. No hot water, Amenities were good, Keurig coffee, creamers and water bottles. It is in the middle of no where, if you do not have a car, be prepped with food delivery services. The in premises restaurant has closed.

Clean hotel as well as rooms.. front desk very helpful and cheerful. Mattress needs an upgrade. Not unbearable by any stretch, but a bit lacking in comfort. Would highly recommend

As soon as you walk in you get warm welcomes and Big smiles from Rosalyn and John. They have raised the bar for hospitality. Staying at hotels can be kinda depressing but they make you feel like you are at home. It was such a great experience I actually extended my stay 3 days because the love and passion this team bring to the table. Looking forward to many more stays. i had a great time talking to katheryn the mgr she was so helpful in making sure Ienjoyed my stay. Rosalyn went above and beyond to make sure I was being taken care of with every thing I needed and always seeing john smiling and his great sence of humor. It was great always seeing the staff in a great moods. I have had issues with Hiltons in the past but this hotel completely Regained my confidence in Hilton Brand. I think some of the other Hiltons can learn some thing from this well oiled machine. Keep up the great work Ladies and gents. Katheryn, Rosalyn and John are what make The Hilton Brand the reputation of 10 star quality. They are your Dream Team I think your hotels need more people like these ladies and gents. I love the customer service of this Hotel. Great Manager great team

The front lobby was amazing, well maintained, and well staffed with friendly employees. The rooms and hallways are very dated. Buffet breakfast was pretty good. We didn't realize continental breakfast was extra. The room we reserved had some issues, and they didn't have another like it, so they down graded our room, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience thanks to our interactions with the staff!

The room was good size. We upgraded to a suit. The spa jet tub was nice, odd shape hard for a couple to comfortably enjoy. The furniture in our room was severely stained, faded and worn. The carpet was also stained and worn. Lastly. The sheet had marks from pen stains on it. We slept well we felt safe . Biggest issue was cleaning issues and being right next to elevator caused noise. Staff was nice. I wished breakfast was included, they wanted $6.75 for cereal and Danish or $11.95 for hot breakfast buffet.

Customer service was impeccable. The CSR checked on us every day until we got home. They made sure we made it to the hotel and home. Our room was clean and neat.

Customer service was great here. I would advise folks to always check the locks on the windows if you're staying on the first floor. Our room window was not locked and slightly open. More of a safety/security issue. Curtains were also quite dirty in the room as well and our bed wasn't the most comfortable. Other than things issue everything was cool.

Great location and the check in staff were friendly. Lovely rooms that were quite comfortable. Minor gripe about airy too-soft pillow quality, but for someone else that might be perfect. The breakfast buffet had nice options (yogurt, waffle maker, juices, bagels) but the french toast, eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage were not self serve. The kitchen staff were absent for the majority of the hour we were there during peak time. For a paid breakfast add-on this was less than ideal. A fresh fruit option would have been a nice addition to breakfast, but at minimum please have staff available for serving. The pool and views were wonderful. I would stay here again but management please nudge the kitchen crew to do better.

The room.was very clean and had lots of space. It felt more like a high end apartment than a hotel. Great place for a romantic weekend

It was one of my 'Go-To' hotels in Charlotte. But during my last visit there, a deal-breaker ran across the floor in my room. I don't stay at hotels that have roaches.

My husband and I stopped here for the night during our drive home on our honeymoon. We arrived at around 10pm on Friday to check in. We stayed in a king whirlpool room on the 5th floor. Two ladies were at the counter and both were incredibly nice and had great customer experience skills. We told them we were wrapping up our honeymoon, having just gotten married, and they gave us complimentary wine to enjoy during our stay. Also a huge fan of the 12pm checkout they offer. The lobby was very bright and clean. While we didnā€™t partake in the offered snacks and food in their lobby store, they had a great selection. There also is a pool outdoors, we didnā€™t have a chance to experience this either, but there is one available. Itā€™s not open 24/7. The room was clean. I was surprised by the Keurig. There was a fridge and blow dryer, but I couldnā€™t find a safe in the room. There was 2 bottles of water as well. Having traveled all over the US and stayed at various Hilton hotels, my biggest ā€œannoyanceā€ was the lack of internet TV. Several hotels weā€™ve visited had much older, cheaper flat screens than the one in our room and had still been adapted to allow for internet streaming. They had very limited cable channels available as well, so overall it really reinforced the ā€œbusinessā€ aspect of the hotel. A great place to rest your head and get work done with an Ethernet port available in the room even, but not really a romantic place to relax for a few days in your room watching tv. Iā€™m not really big on getting ice during my stay at a hotel, but for those who might, it can be noted that of all the five floors, only the ice machine on the first floor worked, while the rest had ā€œout of orderā€ signs. The ladies at check in did let us know this at check in. They do have breakfast, but itā€™s an additional $11 to partake. We didnā€™t opt for this, but is relatively priced when considering the price you would spend to go out and buy drive thru food. A strange detail, but I would warn anyone parking along the edges of the lot to be cautious of the red ants that seem to be on surplus. I went to my car after check in to grab my night bag, and while standing at my back door, I was bit by a red ant less than a minute later. I moved my car and was bit again by one that had crawled on my shoe. I wouldnā€™t really say the hotel is responsible for that or anything, but I definitely want to give anyone who might read this a heads up lol. It was dark so we couldnā€™t see them. Overall we had a good night here, and would definitely stay here again if we were passing through the area. I do hope to see Hilton take the leap soon and begin to offer internet tv as a standard room amenity as the Marriott has.

I do not know why Hilton has their name attach to this hotel. When we got to the hotel I walked to the front desk and a young lady walked and looked at me. I told her I had a reservation and she stated, "Do you have an I.D.?" I handed her my I.D. and credit card; she then places my driver licenses on the counter and then my credit card. She then said that she needs to see if our room was ready, and it was about 3:15 p.m. She comes out of the office and hands me keys and that was it. She did not tell me where the elevator was, what time was check out, was there breakfast, or even where the room was. At this point, I am upset and tired. We go back to get our bags, and we pass some Maintenace workers smoking right by the door. We walked around and got our bags and when we came back in the hotel we were stared at the whole time. At this point I am very uncomfortable, but we find the elevator and a young man was holding it for us. He greeted us and was very nice and even made conversation which made me feel batter. He was also a very tall young man that was Maintenace there, also. As we walked to our room, we notice the extremely faded carpet in the hallway. Then we open the door and see the tile missing from the whirlpool tub, it was also plastered all up, two holes in the wall that they tried to cover up, tan bed sheets and covers. At that time, we were too tired to say anything, so we head out for my husband birthday night. We woke up the next morning in pain because of the hard and outdated bed. So, I decided to run a hot bath, soon as I turned it on black stuff started to come out, I went to the shower. The shower handle was loose, and the pressure was so bad that I thought I was running through the sprinklers as a kid. I felt nasty and dirty and was ready to go home. We also had to turn the heat to 80 because there was a draft coming from somewhere in the room. So, we packed up and went home. The young lady that checked me out was very pleasant and sweet. I also saw what look like could have been breakfast (which we did not know about.) We travel A LOT, and this has been the worst experience I have ever had. We have another trip in a couple of weeks, and I am nervous about it because it is at a Hilton also. I never complain because I work in customer service, but this place needs a huge make over. I am grateful for the Maintenace guy (Very tall young man with dark hair) and the beautiful young lady (beautiful long brown hair) that was at the front desk the next morning. I have photos if need be.

Amazing place!! Very clean and efficient staff! Rooms are big and some have a hot tub that is amazing! You can get good nightly rates if you choose a good time to go.

As a diamond member I expected to be welcomed. But I wasnā€™t. I was told I could grab some water if I wanted to. No snack bags no thank you for being a diamond member. Online it said there was an indoor pool. Itā€™s connected to the outside and the temperature was in the teens so no swimming. The room was clean but outdated. We were told complimentary breakfast and then we were charged. Still waiting for them to reverse the charges. I wonā€™t go back to this hotel.

ā€œConfirmationā€ Reservations means Nothing! I emailed, many, and received emails especially my confirmation email, (for the 3rd time ), the morning we left to travel. Traveled 11 hours, got to the hotel and we told that 2 of my reserved rooms werenā€™t available šŸ˜” Come to find out, that was not trueā€¦..this was done purposely, I believe! Turns out my cousin was in one of my ā€œreservedā€ rooms. Telling me that she had just made her reservations. Meaning, the room WAS available! Which is why I believe what I previously stated. Also, thereā€™s a $50 hold charge for the rooms, not mentioned within any of my emails. And, thereā€™s no complementary breakfast. Overall and the purpose of us being there was wonderful!

It's a nice hotel campus. The rooms are dated though. The best part of our visit was the person in charge of breakfast Susan. She was delightful and very engaging.

I am a very tall person and love that the shower head was place nice and high so I didn't have to crouch down or bend over to wash my hair. Room was super clean a lot nice as always. The only small thing Is I wish they would remove the timer from the jacuzi so you didn't have to wait 20 min. But that does not change the fact that it Is a very nice place to stay.

Stayed here one night to celebrate our anniversary with Scarowinds. Very clean hotel with super front desk staff! Bathrooms were clean with no mildew, sheets and pillows were fresh and very comfortable like clouds. The room was a good size with a nice desk complete with a pull out for writing. We stayed in a Standard King room using partial American Airlines miles. We really appreciated the water bottles in the room as well as Keurig coffee maker. Carowinds is only about a 15minute drive and only about 25-30minutes to Uptown Charlotte. The only reason I left off a star was the hot water in the shower didnā€™t get very hot. Comfortable, but not where Iā€™d normally prefer it. Also, the black out curtains do not block out much light. Otherwise this was a great hotel in a great area with wonderful staff. Would stay here again, definitely!

Worst bed ever, had to sleep on floor. I would not encourage anyone to stay here until a thorough remodel and bed replacement is completed. 7/15 follow-up - Please don't tell me you will do something and not follow through? My impression of Hilton customer service is rapidly going from bad to worse. I shared a complaint, on tHilton's website, and received confirmation of receipt on 7/7/2022. But then no one actually followed up. I posted here and Hilton again confirmed receipt with suggestion to share feedback on their internal channel. Well, I have twice now, but Hilton hasn't actually responded. I am getting sick of automated suggestions that lack any follow-up or sincerity of addressing the problem. I would prefer to never hear from Hilton again than to hear they will do something and then not follow through. I have to assume Hilton wants to give the public an impression they care while having no intent of actually doing something.

Stayed in a number of Hiltons over the years. The room at this location was the most out of date and dirty of any Hilton Hotel I have ever stayed at. Bathroom floors and sheets were not clean. It was obvious carpets had not been vacuumed in some time. Halls smelled of marijuana. The bed was comfortable once we got it cleaned and the lobby staff was nice, but overall will choose a different hotel if I go back to this area.

If 0 stars was an option I wouldā€™ve definitely chosen that instead! Well where do I start I had a delay with American Airlines they offered a voucher for this hotel but I still got charged 50 bucks when I arrived the gentleman at the reservation was very rude. Had my flight the next morning and I know for a fact that my bag stayed in the room. I boarded my flight I got home and called the hotel to ask about it and they said nothing was found. I have a friend who lives in town and they went to check also but they acted like they didnā€™t care! Whoever cleaned my room mustā€™ve kept it and I had something very valuable in there!!! I definitely want to know who cleaned the room 405 for my overnight stay literally 4 hours there 10/17/22-10/18/22. If thereā€™s someone here I could speak to that would be a plus because it seems like their employees donā€™t really care about their business and the customers.

Excellent service at the front desk. Breakfast food it's good, good size portion. No problem at all at this hotel. I've been staying here for the last 5 years, about 10 times a year (2-4 days each time) . THANK YOU ALL!........ The boots guy.

We were placed here by American airlines and the airlines were suppose to give us one room 2 beds or 2 rooms however when we arrived there was only one reservation with one king bed and there were 4 adults with one being 6'4" so that was not gonna work. The manager on duty was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. He placed us in 2 king rooms and billed the airline for the one (I did have to pay until reimbursement). The downside to this hotel is there is no free breakfast and the "buffet" was expensive $10.95 per person and for continental it was $6.95 per person. But it was clean and beds were comfy.

If it werent for the staff I would have left. Room could use some updating. Couch had torn spots, accent pillows were dingy. There was a musty smell and uncooked macaroni on the floor. There were spots on the carpet and spots on the ceiling. Management really needs to update. The staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The almost $10 breakfast was choice of pastries, sad looking melon pieces, coffee, and room temp juice and milk, which made us both sick. The whirlpool in our room was dirty and had quite a bit of paint missing at the bottom. There were spots of red lipstick on the carpet throughout the room. The towels had stains. The elevators were filthy.

CLEAN!!!! Even tho the bath was outdated, it was clean. Thank goodness. Bed was very comfortable and it water pressure was decent. I would stay again for the value. Breakfast from 6-10 is a nice option too.

Missed opportunityā€¦ at 3:31AM on March 27th the hotel fire alarm went offā€¦ blaring away. We dressed and joined a hotel full of guests in the cold outdoors while the Fire trucks arrived and inspected the entire hotel. When we asked the next morning, we were told someone was smoking and set off the alarm. Iā€™m very glad the system worked as designed but Iā€™m disappointed there was no acknowledgement or notice or apology by the hotel management. While not the fault of the hotel, it was not my fault either. It would have been so easy for the manager to offer an apology on the white board for the inconvenience and maybe add a free breakfast or Hilton points of something. Definitely a missed opportunity that would have solidified the brand as recognizing every guestā€™s experience was defined by a negative event! Otherwise the stay was average but nothing special. Through the years Iā€™ve come to expect more from Hilton.

We were booked here because our flight was canceled, we were supposed to be staying in a 5star hotel in London. The staff here is 5star and the manager (JJ) is FANTASTIC! could not be happier with the service. This is not a 5star hotel but it is clean, modern and well kept, your standard hotel.

  • 5/5 Vanessa R. 1 year ago on Google
JJ was awesome! So friendly and helpful and funny. Really appreciated the service of the staff especially after a long stressful trip . They made my stay comfortable - cozy beds and even have a cool indoor and outdoor pool! Surrounded by trees šŸŒ³ great location.
