I like to come here to work sometimes. I work remotely, and it’s nice to change up the scenery. There’s plenty of seating options for a casual coffee with friends, a work meeting, or working from a laptop. I typically sit upstairs because it’s more quiet. Their draft oat milk latte is my favorite, they rotate the flavors. I’ve eaten breakfast and lunch here before, everything I’ve had to eat is also good. I’ve gotten it to go plenty of times also and you can order online which is convenient.

Nice and relaxing, love the upstairs space. On the pricier side but not a rip off. Great place to meet up, get coffee or just read. I felt like the espresso and food was high quality. Happy with my experience (:

Amazing! Great to bring laptop and work for a few hours. Every food item is TOP NOTCH! My favorite is the everything bagel breakfast sandwich! The atmosphere is so cute and quaint with several nooks for hanging and chatting with friends. Conveniently located in Uptown!!! I highly recommend this place for ANY coffee shop needs!!

This is the best authentic cappuccino you’re going to find in Charlotte. A lot of the credit also goes to the barista who knows the proper milk to espresso ratio and milk foam consistency. It is also served in a ceramic mug as it should be. After a 1.5 year search this ranks at the top of my coffee shop list. BRAVO Price: $4.00

Where should I start. This place is ideal. Welcoming atmosphere all are welcome! The coffee was amazing and food was superb. The upstairs is cozy. We sat down to enjoy our coffee and breakfast sandwiches and before we knew it, we were talking for almost 1hr and a half. The prices are decent as well. Not your average coffee shop!

After a morning hike i decided to have local coffee and I searched for it and came through Queen City Grounds. It was a nice small coffee shop with different people buying coffee on Sunday morning. The parking can be an issue as it has a road parking and sometimes you may not get the place. The ambience of the cafe was amazing and i loved the vibes. The menu is amazing and has different coffee options. I ordered Cappuccino hot coffee. I got the order quickly and it was amazing. I loved the coffee. Do try this as it is an amazing place.

Hands down one of the best vegan breakfasts I've ever had! So nice to eat at a place where every item can be made vegan! Their golden chai latte was also amazing and such good prices. Highly recommend!

Such a cute coffee shop! We were visiting Charlotte for the weekend and we're so happy we stopped in Queens City Grounds to start our day. Two stories with lots of seating options to work or study. Their staff was friendly and fast. The cold brew was great and I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast bagel sandwich. Their Pay It Forward wall was such an amazing concept to foster kindness ✨️

Coffee was great the front desk cashier was polite and chipper. The food I ordered was one thing online but different on the menu in the cafe. So I got the BLT but couldn't find any bacon on my first half of the sandwich but then I took it apart for the staff to show them I couldn't find Bacon. They showed me a tiny piece on the other half only and didn't seem to want to make another. If you're working on a menu and the first ingredient is bacon, you might expect to have a visible portion on the sandwich. Side note the online menu said on toast but the menu here was on a veggie wrap. Last part of my rant the item said thick cut bacon, the piece we found on one half was the same you see at Subway that's thin and small. I'll try again some other time, the menu looks great and has a lot of appealing options. The building is beautiful and they have a great decor. Thanks for the coffee y'all it was wonderful.

Stopped in for some coffee to go, and was quite amazed at what a cool spot this is. The coffee is fine, if a bit expensive, but the location as a spot to relax, study, read or get some work done is quite exemplary. It's well appointed, with lots of comfy places to sit, and various excellent views. Next time I'm in the area and need a place to hang out for a bit, I'd definitely return!

This is one of the most chill coffee shops in downtown. As long as you bring your positive vibes and around 20 dollars they got you covered. They have lovely and prompt service - even if you are unsure of what to order they are happy to help every step of the way. Lovely atmosphere and chill coffee vibes.

My Chai Latte was perfect, and the young lady working there was extremely kind and professional. She even gave me advice on places to check out in Charlotte. The views from this Uptown coffee joint are pleasant and sweet. But the coffee is sweeter. ☕️

No shortage of great, local, coffee shops in Charlotte, and this is one of them. Their original location is in 4th Ward under the Skyhouse apartments, they have been in business about 5 years. Their second location is slightly west of the city on Morehead. I love the coffee here, but moreso I love the vibes. The downstairs has a bar and each seat has a large window to people watch. The upstairs is quaint, tucked away, and even has a little library nook. This is one of the few shops I'm tempted to buy merch from, their logo is of an owl that is artful yet simplistic. They are open later in the day, offer a brunch menu in the morning, a later in the day menu after 3 PM, and alcohol- I assume later in the day, there is a bar with beer taps and a beer fridge. They offer events several nights of the week. Wi-Fi password is "staygrounded". They will validate parking in the Skyhouse garage for 1.5 hrs if you ask. They will hand you a receipt to have scanned upon exiting the garage.

Nice local coffee spot with a wide selection of breakfast options. The avocado toast was lighter than expected but very tasty. The breakfast sandwich was good but don’t order if you’re in a rush as they take a while to make. Loved their latte!

Cute setting and decor. Customer service mediacore once inside No greetings just stares from the staff (uncomfortable feeling). Make sure you love what you are ordering even if you have never ordered from here because they do not accommodate changing your order due of distasteful vegan chorizo on the breakfast sandwich (would not recommend...0/10) Was made to pay for another order. Which is uncommon in most restaurants. Did like the girts and coffee . Our toddler likes the just egg pattie.

Queen City Grounds overall has a great vibe. I’m not a big coffee drinker but I had a Carmel latte there and it was delicious. I also appreciate the vegan options they have for burritos. I was recommended by a very nice guy named Emmanuel to try “The Burrito You Want” it’s super flavorful and very filling. Overall service is a 10/10. 😊

This place is probably the best coffee in charlotte and the hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve had! They have plenty of vegan breakfast options and will typically offer a vegan pastry, I would recommend trying the crimson raider. The atmosphere inside is really nice and there is plenty of room to sit and hang out

Queen City Grounds is my favorite coffee shop in the City of Charlotte. The staff know how to make some of the best lattes I've ever tried. QCG is also one of the few places in the Charlotte area that you can get a fully vegan breakfast. You could easily spend the whole day here with the breakfast, lunch, dinner offerings. Also a great place to spend a nice evening with local craft beers or seltzers from Summit. All around one of my favorite places in CLT. If you haven't gone here then you are missing out. Pic is the Barvecue special sammie. It's not currently on the normal menu but maybe in the future???

UPDATE: My experience here has changed and now I've rated Queen City Grounds a 5! I've recently gotten the Impossible burger and the chicken sand-which and both are amazing. I recommend the ranch on both. The service has been much better and the food comes out in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly. Definitely give this place a try! My experiences have been really bad. The first time I ordered a breakfast burrito, it took 45 minutes. They had given food to everyone else that ordered after me. I asked for a status update. Instead of telling me they lost my order or forgot, they just said they were still working on it. How? The second time I went, I ordered online, because I had a little puppy with me. I was working outside, since they had signs on their window saying they can’t allow dogs inside. When I ordered online I asked in the comments for them to bring it outside since I can’t come in. I waited 30 minutes, before realizing that they must not be bringing it outside. When I went in my order was sitting at the pick up window and they just ignored the note I wrote even though it was printed on the receipt. The sandwich was cold and soggy by the time I got it. Customer service is not their forte. I wanted to support their partnership with Summit Seltzer and new opening at night hours, but they need to work on customer service.

The coffee and breakfast sandwich were delicious. I loved the atmosphere. I really enjoyed the lay it forward wall. Such a great way to bring the community together. It’s also in a really cute park of town with historical homes.

I'm so happy I found this place! In order to be more eco-friendly and reduce waste I've been getting coffee beans from a grocery store using my own clean bag. In an effort to be more supportive of local business I reached out through fb to see if I'd be able to do the same at their shop. I received a quick and helpful response and ended up stopping by that same day. I was able to purchase fresh roasted coffee beans and enjoyed a slice of delicious vegan coffee cake.... in my own container! They have lots of vegan options and everyone was super friendly. I'll definitely be returning. Please check them out!

"Easily 40x better than Starbucks" - girlfriend. She loves their cold brew, I like their strawberry banana smoothies, and their burrito is out of this world.

Friendly and entertaining staff Cozy atmosphere. Smells DELICIOUS. Beer, seltzer, wine, coffee and some incredibly yummy looking sandwiches ( they must be amazing because every other person was eating )

If you're looking for a place that serves fantastic coffee made with love, care, and passion, look no further. Queen City Grounds definitely has the coffee game on lock in Charlotte. The Flat White I had was simply the best cup of coffee I've had outside of my own home. It also helps that they roast their coffee beans in-house to meticulous quality. The staff is super friendly, the coffee shop is always super clean, they also have some pretty tasty sandwiches, and the upstairs loft has some of the best views of Fourth Ward. Come on in. Get a cup. Do some of that work you've been wanting to get done or just chill out for a while. On your way out, buy a bag of their beans to take home. And yes, they will happily grind it up for you.

Service was quick, and the grit bowl was INCREDIBLE. Very filling and great portion size. I was only visiting for a couple days, but it was some of the best coffee we had while in the city! The “Le Tigre” was very unique and delicious!

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
