The woman working the coffee side was rude. She kept directing me away from her. She told me to have a seat, then took her sweet time, and then told someone else to finish. All the time she had no customers. The food is half decent. The shrimp and grits was like spaghetti. I would eat elsewhere.

We had at a nice late lunch at this unassuming cafe on Rozzelle's Ferry. There's an "order here" sign at the register, but while we looked at the menus, the friendly cashier suggested we take them to a table and he'd come get our orders when we were ready. We sat on the covered patio and enjoyed a breakfast burrito and jerk chicken salad sandwich. Afterwards, craving something sweet, we went inside to look at their baked goods and decided on a blueberry biscuit. All the food was good and really affordable at under $10. You can conveniently pay on your phone too, at your own time when you're done.

This place has an airy old charm atmosphere. We came for a late breakfast. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was tasty and large. I ate half and took the other half home to eat later. My wife and daughters split one large breakfast. Overall a good time was had by all. And, my eldest colored a beautiful picture of a whale.

3/10/2022. Decided to stop here for lunch. A new spot to try! I ordered the open face turkey sandwich with gravy which was delicious and reminded me of my moms version. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans. I saw on the counter a cake holder with turnovers in it and they looked homemade so I ordered the cherry one. The food was good but the turnover was the star of the show!!! I would recommend stopping here for lunch and definitely a turnover!

First of all I want their buns but they're always sold out. I got buffalo wings which were crispy but a tad dry and the sauce was not buffalo-y. The mac&cheese was bland and not even a little cheesy. It was just yellow sauce not cheese. The hospitality was phenomenal.

I had the Cuban sandwich meal w/ FF and a sweet Tea. Sandwich had a heaping amount of meat and the flavor was outstanding ! Highly recommend this place for a bite to eat!

Go here!!! It is in an a bit of a sparse location, but is an easy drive from CLT airport. It completely exceeded our expectations. We got the chimichurri steak sandwich and a pimento bacon egg breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. Both were delicious. The cucumber salad was super fresh. And the coffee was good!

Our Airbnb host recommended this spot for breakfast and we were definitely not disappointed! The staff were so awesome! My girlfriend ordered the Spanish omelet thinking it was a breakfast sandwich but without even having an issue, they made her the Spanish omelet as a sandwich which was super of them! My girlfriend can't stop talking about how good the food was and I really enjoyed my Toucan Breakfast, especially the biscuit which was the best I've ever had! Our waiter Ray was very nice and made sure we were satisfied, but honestly, we were beyond satisfied! Definitely will stop here again next time we are in the area!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. Waited over an hour for our food and gave up and canceled our order after that point as the server didn't even seem to know what we had ordered (note: they were NOT crowded when we came in). But that wasn't even the worst part of the experience... which was the drinks. I ordered a late. No idea what they put in it but the moment i drank a bit I had urge to vomit. It tasted like frothed curdled/spoiled milk with grains of coffee in it. Will never come back.

Toucan louies is the place to go if you want fresh coffee (the owner roast his coffee beans himself), hot homemade food, everything is freshly made , to hand patted hamburgers, home made pancake batter , dressings, grits, Freshly squeezed lemonade ,etc. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and welcoming , there’s even nice patio seating, they are also dog friendly!

We had a party of 6 for breakfast at 10:30 am on Sunday, 11/6/22. Very chill vibes. We were in athletic clothes; others came in their church clothes. There was no wait for a table, but it did take a while for our food to come out. When we ordered, they said there were only 5 biscuits left, but they were open until 3:00, so I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just make more. Luckily, we ordered in time to get the last biscuits. Here’s what I tried: - Veggie Omelet ($9.95): The omelet was really good! It came packed with veggies. I got it with a biscuit and home fries. The biscuit was buttered perfectly and was sooo delicious. The potatoes were seasoned really well and tasted great, but I wish they were crispy on the outside. - Regular Stack of Chocolate Chip Pancakes ($7.25 + $1.75 for chocolate chips): We got this to share between the 6 of us. They were fine, but I don’t feel the need to get them again. Toucan Louie’s has good food at a reasonable price with large portions.

Love this place. If I wanted to be a picky butt nugget, only thing I’d mention is their breakfast burritos are always made differently. Not bad but sometimes the veggies don’t get cooked as long. But hey I’m totally not complaining. This place is a hidden gem and delicious. Love the food and the atmosphere. Just awesome , we get take out every weekend.

👍👍 It was delicious, exceptional drinks, I expected a heated space, as it was cold. I definitely recommend wearing more then 2 layers in the Winter. Despite everything, this this is arguably the better rooftops in Charlotte. Delicious delicious drinks, decent prices, casual atmosphere, amazing times....

👍👍 Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordere...
