Great learning experience for everyone interested in early American history and ways of life. Be aware that finding where to park is challenging.

This place is fantastic! Lots of cool historical stuff to look at. Staff was professional and friendly. Gift store had a great selection of local artisan products and I found that the prices were very reasonable, I ended up buying some Christmas gifts for family. I Highly recommend visiting this place. Lots of parking and disability friendly.

This is just about unbelievable. This kind of history RIGHT HERE, to walk about, touch and see just how things were, frozen in time to some TRUE North Carolina , Mint Hill country roots. Never a crowd, plenty of parking and the Farmers Market on Saturday (8-11) is a blessing! Come on out y’all….. and welcome to Mint Hill, NC!!!!!!

First Fall Jamboree. Lots of handcrafted items from local venders. Fresh baked goods. Local pasteurized meat. Plus the ability to learn something. Great day

Closed due to Covid so I'm unable to provide much feedback. I was able to wander around the old buildings. I will try to get back when the world returns to normal.

Cute little place, the ladies know the history of the area and the buildings. Every Saturday in the summer is a lovely farmers market. The market is small, but all are friendly. The site has musicians and reenactors that come for special occasions. Everything looks like you made a large step back in time. Very nice, quaint.

Old historic village from the early 1900's in Mint Hill, NC. Went to the craft festival there yesterday. Buildings closed but the website says they give tours. Cute. Had fun!

The Christmas Tea last year was beautiful in the old big barn with delicious sweet and savory food and exquisitely decorated tables.
