I just visited the Solo Show of Case Bumgartin's wonderful paintings in Black and White done with acrylics, inks, oil, resins on canvas and paper and over life sized sculpture. Wow, I was so impressed I spent an hour and a half taking it all in. This is absolutely one of the best and most wonderfully executed shows of Abstract Art I have seen in NC, and I am a former gallery owner and presently an art curator, art collector, abstract painter and art teacher. Kodos to Cassandra Richardson, the gallery director, for directing such a beautiful and very professional show.

There's a new look at Anne Neilson Fine Art (ANFA) these days. First of all, the show hanging now until the end of February is monumental in so many ways. Please don't miss Case Baumgarten's GATHER AT THE RIVER retrospective. Large and small paintings and sculptures are deeply evocative and masterfully created by an artist imbedded in his artistic expression. I always love visiting Anna Neilson Fine Art Gallery when I'm in Charlotte. One of the most welcoming galleries I've ever been into. The space is bright and filled with vibrant art. Be sure to stop in.

This gallery is an experience! The art is perfectly curated in a way you can waltz through once to take in all of the beautiful pieces; then have a second viewing and it’s an entirely new experience. I had the pleasure of dropping into an event and was delighted by not only the atmosphere but also by the staff whom was very friendly and welcoming. My intention was to stay for perhaps an hour and instead had such a great time I stayed much longer! Very relevant works that are timeless and of a high technical caliber.

Good sized contemporary art gallery with an excellent assortment of paintings and sculpture on display. The gallery owner, Anne Neilson, has a studio on site. I got to meet her during my visit and she was very generous with her time, telling me all about her work and the gallery itself. Highly recommended!

Thank you for creating more than a gallery. It was a refuge for my soul, a catharsis. Work after work spoke their unique messages. Finally Anne’s oil on paper, “He Will Give You Rest,” moved me to tears. Well done curators and artists!
