The Alphabet Museum at JAARS

Tourist attraction Museum

👍👍 This place is incredible! Lots of information about language and alphabets from the beginning of recorded history. There was so much to see and learn that it’s impossible to take it all in on one visit. Will definitely be back to keep learning about the history of language and alphabets. There is so much to learn about alphabets around the world. I thought this museum was well worth the trip from Charlotte.

Love seeing places like this. So important to have a history of our languages and Bible translations. We did a self guided tour with 7 kids (Ages Infant to 13). The "scavenger hunt bags" helped keep the kids engaged. I'd love to come back without kids and spend more time learning.

This museum is very interesting. Learn about alphabets and cultures throughout the world with a bible undertone. The jaars organization works to translate the bible into all languages. What a great mission. The museum is great for kids of all ages. Suggest using the cell app to listen about exhibit.

Wonderful museum that focuses on language dispersion within a creation and biblical context. If you get the chance to attend a "Night at the Alphabet Museum" event, you will not be disappointed! It's a great opportunity to learn and interact with special guests!!

A lovely history lesson about how written words/language came about all around the world. You can walk around and read the information for yourself or have a audio play while you walk. Highly recommend visiting!!
